Americans are guaranteed certain protections through the U.S. Constitution which I pledge to uphold. I believe that the 2nd Amendment protects Americans’ rights to gun ownership for their protection. I believe that the United States was intended as a federal system with roles for both the national and state governments. I oppose laws which infringe on the privacy of American citizens through warrant less spying, indefinite detention, etc. I support campaign finance reform which protects the voices of citizens in this country from adulteration by unlimited corporate donations.
