Largest Iraq bombing in two years may have been inside job

Sunday’s twin suicide bombings in Baghdad that killed at least 155 people and wounded 500 others may have had help from within Iraq’s security apparatus, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow reported Monday.
“This was a really well coordinated attack on an area in Baghdad that’s supposed to be well protected,” Maddow told viewers. “In order to reach their targets, the bombers driving these truck bombs had to pass through several checkpoints that were guarded by security forces and those security forces were supposed to be using hand-held devices designed to detect explosives.”
Maddow quoted a comment from Brian Katulis, a Middle East expert at the Center for American Progress, who wrote, “You don’t want to do this kind of attack without having someone on the inside. It implies infiltration of the government. If there is an objective, it’s to send a message to whoever is in power that not everyone recognizes them as being in charge.”
A group called the Islamic State of Iraq, which reportedly includes Al Qaeda in Iraq, has claimed responsibility for the bombing, though, as the Washington Post notes, the authenticity of that claim has not been verified.
As Maddow noted, the Iraqi government says it has arrested at least 75 people in connection with the bombings.
This is not the first time questions have arisen about the possibility of government infiltration by insurgents. In August, Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Sebari said he suspected infiltration in a blast that killed nearly 100 people. “According to our information, there has even been collaboration between security officers and the murderers and killers,” said Zebari.
In April of 2007, a bomb attack against the Iraq parliament that killed eight people, including two members of parliament, was suspected to have involved insurgent sympathizers within Iraq’s security forces. The attack “reflects the fact that perhaps there are some people within the Iraqi security forces who have been infiltrated by insurgents and terrorist organizations,” then-Australian Defense Minister Brendan Nelson said.

I wrote this 911 article for people who haven’t been exposed to 911 truth and who aren’t likely to take the innitiative to research it themselves. I believe we can still reach those people. They are not going to go digging into 911 at this late date, but if they take fifteen minutes to read the article it will leave nagging questions in their mind that will not be easily dismissed.
People who are now on the sidelines can still be brought into the game. They may never be first string but they could at least become supporters. More than anything, people just need a little help to wake up from their propaganda enduced stupor. I would like to see people all over the world print it and use it as a tool, as a handout, to put on windshields etc.
I know my little article is preaching to the choir, but it isn’t meant for the choir. It is intended for the uninitiated, and it works very well for waking up even the disinterested.

People ought to be a little more civil on this post. If you can’t get your point out without a vulgar response your message is to no avail. we want a united revolution not some trivial swearing fool. Humanity is at stake here and some of the words are certainly working against the cause. And to the Witness studier it can help you be a better person no doubt but it is also something that will over sensitize your conscience. The Bible is their interpretation as is all religions. To make so many religions makes finding the true God very complex indeed. You sacrifice yourself in a sense to be a Jehovah Witness in teaching the Bible message to all. I ought to know I was one and it made me a better person.

The main reason for our soldiers that are commiting Suicide, is due to stop loss! And the fact our soldiers do not have the proper vehicles for protecting them from i.e.d.’s and v.bed’s. I was in Iraq for 30 months. I talked to our troops many times, they were disguisted when they were told they could not get out of the service when there end of enlistment was suppose to end! Many of them would make a statement. That we would not be willing to fire there weapon at the enemy! Also if you did some research on what type of individual the army is willing to accept into there branch of service. You would be highly disguisted. No high school diploma, very low reading ability, prior incidences with the law. And when you look at what they should be able to perform in a high threat environment, you will begin to see the cause /effect happening to our soldiers!
