Statement before the US House of Representatives opposing resolution on Iran, June 19, 2009
I rise in reluctant opposition to H Res 560, which condemns the Iranian government for its recent actions during the unrest in that country. While I never condone violence, much less the violence that governments are only too willing to mete out to their own citizens, I am always very cautious about “condemning” the actions of governments overseas. As an elected member of the United States House of Representatives, I have always questioned our constitutional authority to sit in judgment of the actions of foreign governments of which we are not representatives. I have always hesitated when my colleagues rush to pronounce final judgment on events thousands of miles away about which we know very little. And we know very little beyond limited press reports about what is happening in Iran.
Of course I do not support attempts by foreign governments to suppress the democratic aspirations of their people, but when is the last time we condemned Saudi Arabia or Egypt or the many other countries where unlike in Iran there is no opportunity to exercise any substantial vote on political leadership? It seems our criticism is selective and applied when there are political points to be made. I have admired President Obama’s cautious approach to the situation in Iran and I would have preferred that we in the House had acted similarly.
I adhere to the foreign policy of our Founders, who advised that we not interfere in the internal affairs of countries overseas. I believe that is the best policy for the United States, for our national security and for our prosperity. I urge my colleagues to reject this and all similar meddling resolutions.

It is simply amazing that the Jews have not snuffed Ron Paul yet. It is probably because the rest of the bought and paid for, cowardly Congress, and the degenerate and thoroughly stupid American public will never swallow the health giving medicine of this patriot. He speaks common sense and truth, which is clearly anathema to almost all peoples of the US.
His very existence is horrible tease to those who wish for a return to the good old days, before the Jews turned all goyim into something even worse than Jews themselves, “want to be Jews”! All Americans feel themselves to be chosen or special. The Sun and Earth, who made the mistake of creating the Human Race, are both ready to vomit. After they do so, and then clean themselves off, the Human Race is in for a real surprise. All this absurd Star Trek type nonsense of spreading the Human virus around the rest of the Cosmos is going to come to an abrupt end, the result of self immolation.

Well said, however it seems to me nature would not allow this gross injustice without some balancing factor in the end. Whatever it is or how that would work, I’m not sure.
However, math says that 3 dimensions is in no way special or better to 4 dimensions, 5 or 150 000 dimensions. Why then do we only observe 3 dimensions? If physical reality derives from “math” (our limited interpretation of a majestic order from which this physical reality eventually derives from), then it would mean that ultimately, physical reality is infinite dimensional.
With this understanding, and the understanding of near-death-experiencers, satanism, psychics, etc, one can form a reasonable conclusion that “all is not what it seems”. That there might be a system of existence beyond death, and then one should ask how that all ties into ones experience in this reality?
Eventually, the dam wall will break, and eventually, natures balance will exact justice on the Jews responsible for their phenomenal attrocities, and the sheeple who have helped them achieve their goals, will also have justice brought to them. But that same justice will be brought upon all things too.
Your world peace means nothing to the slavery of animals or plants who serve as your nourishment in their existence. Beings who believe humans to be nourishment are holographically identical to humans who believe other beings to be nourshment. Everyone has to eat, so what’s the solution?

Ahmadinejad is the main and immediate issue. His early departure would be just the first step in untying the knot in the Middle East. We must understand that Iranians want his ouster for reasons different than ours. (I am not especially hopefull.) With him gone, nuclear energy in Iran assumes a different profile.
The optimal official American position is on the sidelines. Our new president has started the rebuilding of United States’ moral and political leadership after its demise during the Busheney years. But we have not yet restored that credibility. President Obama is a mature student of statesmanship who understands that his grasp should not exceed the reach of American foreign policy.
But as Americans, we do not and should not remain on the sidelines. We need to demonstrate our active vigil and witness, together with the rest of the world, on a people to people basis. Technology permits and encourages that now, more than ever before.

It is CRAZY not to support the people of Iran at this time. Well, that is better than nothing! Moral support is what’s needed here. As far as I know, NO one is talking about an invasion to solve this. However, saying we support the people, we support a recount, and the world getting behind this would be a very powerful push behind the people.

I’m an Iranian-American and I’m really torn by all this and don’t know what to think. I always have to stand by the people who want accountability by their government. I don’t like the government there either, but it is what it is and at the end of the day, Ahmadinijad will still be president. What this is going to accomplish, however, is a deep rift in the society and politics, which will DESTABILIZE the country and government. I am very suspicious since this has been the aim of some western governments for some time. While I am hesistant to “blame the USA” and in fact I accepted the original reports as actual at first, I have to say that it is quite possible that there is some outside interference. It seems that there are a few profiles on Twitter and Facebook that were opened right before the election and garners vast numbers of friends and followers that only a celebrity would be able to do, It’s possibe that these networks are being used as the backbone of this velvet revolution. If this is the case, and I’m not sure it is, then I condemn acts outside intervention. It is outside intervention that was the major contributor to the government that Iran has today. Still, I am torn, the protesters want the same change I want to see in the country. A little more smooth talking with the west and fair dealing. I DO NOT want to see total boot-licking of the west like other vassal states in the middle east. Who knows what the outcome will be but I am afraid that whatever it is, the people will lose.

It’s funny how Iran is deemed to have a rigged election because the polls don’t match the pre election polls and they say that victory for Amhmenijidad came too soon after polls closed. Here in the U.S. Obama and Bush (2004 election) were announced the winners only 1-3 hours after the polls closed and without even 50% of the votes calculated. Who lives in the fake democracy now? Joseph Stalin once said, it doesn’t matter who votes, it matters who counts the votes. Now days with electronic voting machines and computer programs counting votes, it is all too easy to rig an election. Our government is a fix and they have lost almost all credibility, but are too stupid to know it. The American people will prevail, they have the guns, but we have the guns and the numbers. Be strong in these tough times ahead.

Ron Paul speaks truth to the issue of Iran and third party meddling in its affairs. The cheap-shot blanket anti-semitism displayed is wholly inappropriate and appears designed to negate the impact of what really is simply a reflection of constitutionality.
Whether the vitriolic anti-semites are real or are simply trolls designed to corrupt the debate (to enable Glenn Beck and Michael Savage to make some disinformation connection), the use of such terminology and tactics are so vile and repugnant and simply should be stopped (by those individuals, not by censorship).
