The United States Constitution says in the First Amendment:  "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

A brave and hardworking group of patriots, the "We the People" Foundation have, since 1999, exercised their First Amendment Rights, legitimately and reasonably by asking the IRS for answers to some very important questions.  Foremost in these questions are those regarding the very legitimacy of the federal income tax and the deliberate misapplication of Title 26 against domestic Americans.  If these practices are legitimate, it seems that a simple answer would settle the issue.

To date, the IRS and DOJ have refused to answer in any way, any of these questions.

For our servants to ignore our reasonable and legitimate requests for answers, especially regarding the very legitimacy of the federal income tax, is the pinnacle of arrogance.  Imagine an undercover police officer attempting to arrest you without showing you any proof of his or her identification.  In fact, anyone else in this nation who attempts to exercise their duly appointed authority must, at some point, legitimize their position, else our country would be overrun with people assuming power unto themselves.  (Come to think of it, that seems to be what is happening).

During a recent press conference, David Cay Johnston of the NY Times asked:  "Why won't the IRS answer the questions set forth in the petitions from We the People Foundation?"  This question was posed to a senior IRS official by the name of Terry Lemons.

The answer should both frighten and alarm every American citizen.

According to Johnston, Lemons said the government is answering our Petitions through "enforcement actions."

Did you catch that?  Legitimate petitions (when they really should be demands) made of public servants by their masters will be answered with brute force.  Instead of offering the simple and reasonable answer to the questions, the IRS has for four years stonewalled on the issue.  Now the answer is coming, it will be a jackbooted sociopath kicking your door down, shooting the family dog and then stealing everything you own.

As a soldier, I took an oath to uphold and defend the United States Constitution.  Sadly, too many Americans don't believe in the Constitution, they believe instead in the right of the Federal (or any other) government to do as it pleases.  Americans no longer believe that the US Constitution was designed to  limit the power of the Federal Government.

Instead, Americans believe that they are subjects, slaves who must bow and scrape and obey every edict that emanates forth from any quasi-official agency, including the IRS which apparently has no legitimate authority to exist, tax or certainly not to make arrests and seizures.

Could it be that the IRS does not want to answer the question because, in doing so, it would admit that it has no authority to tax?  If that were the case then, in the words of the great statesman, Dr. Norris Austin, "we have been hoodwinked".

We have been robbed by people posing as our servants, treated as nothing but chattel slaves whose property can be seized from them on the whim and illusion of authority presented by thieves disguised as our protectors.

Perhaps when we return from Iraq, fixing the problems and disasters wrought upon the Iraqi people by petty dictators on both sides of the issue, the American soldiers need to rid America of the greatest threat to this Constitutional Republic of all, domestic enemies who are engaged in nothing but theft, usurpation of rights and an outright assault on liberty under the color of law.

Police State: Tax Slaves

Al Lorentz October 11 2003

The massive police state mechanism that is being used to subvert and destroy our God given rights is, tragically, paid for by the very people whom it oppresses.  Under the guise of being "public servants", the ruthless IRS conduct themselves like Draconian overlords with no semblance to "servant" at all.
