New York mayor Michael Bloomberg’s nanny state on food philosophy has arrived in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles City Council Pushes Globalist Vegan Agenda Under Meatless Mondays meatlessposterLast week the Los Angeles City Council unanimously approved a measure calling for an official “Meatless Mondays” and a call by the government for all residents to abstain from eating meat.

“It’s part of an international campaign to cut down on meat consumption for health and environmental reasons,” NBC 4 in Los Angeles reported on Friday.

The Meatless Monday campaign was started in 2003 in association with Johns Hopkins University’s public health school.

Back in 2001 the school was renamed the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in honor of the man who recently forced New Yorkers to give up the Big Gulp under penalty of law – Michael Bloomberg.

The original Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health was founded in 1916 by John D. Rockefeller.

The Rockefeller Foundation has funded eugenics projects for over a hundred years. It funded and supported various German eugenics programs, including the one that the Nazi doctor Josef Mengele worked in before he went to Auschwitz. The Rockefeller Foundation long financed the eugenics movement in England and established the Population Council NGO in 1952.

So-called environmental vegetarianism is part of the sustainable development and Agenda 21 plan. In 2010, the United Nations issued a report stating Western dietary preferences for meat will be unsustainable if world population keeps growing at its current rate.

In August, water scientists from the Stockholm International Water Institute warned “that the world’s population may have to switch almost completely to a vegetarian diet over the next 40 years to avoid catastrophic shortages,” according to The Guardian.

The report was released during the annual world water conference in Sweden, where politicians, UN bodies, non-governmental groups and researchers from 120 countries convened to address global water supply problems, The Guardian reported.

The Stockholm International Water Institute works closely with the Rockefeller Foundation, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, and a large number of United Nations agencies.

On the surface, the Meatless Monday declaration in Los Angeles seems harmless enough – another silly attempt to espouse political correctness – but the move represents another propaganda effort to acclimate Americans to austerity under the guise of sustainable development and climate change.
