Magazine Promotes Sterilization For Women In Their 20’s
‘Young, Single and Sterilized’ article advertises for birth control clinic founded by Nazi eugenicist Marie Stopes

A popular women’s magazine in the UK recently featured an article entitled, Young, Single and Sterilized, in which women in their 20’s discussed why they had undergone an operation to prevent them from ever having children. The article is little more than PR for a “women’s charity” called Marie Stopes International, an organization that carries out abortions and sterilizations and was founded by a Nazi eugenicist who advocated compulsory sterilization of non-whites and “those of bad character”.
The story appears in a weekly magazine called Love It (click for PDF enlargement). One of the women featured in the article, Chloe, explains why she decided to have herself sterilized at the age of just 20.
“By the time I was 18, I knew I was never going to change. I couldn’t imagine letting something take over my body and then my whole life.”
“I couldn’t even look at a baby without feeling uncomfortable.”
Following the sterilization procedure, Chloe celebrates the fact that “I’ve got a lifetime of going out ahead of me now,” presumably meaning going out, getting mindlessly drunk and having sex with random strangers, as is British culture, while not having to worry about the risk of pregnancy or the responsibility of looking after a child.

Despite admitting that she has not told any of her family and not even her own mother about the sterilization, the article ends with Chloe boldly stating that it was, “the most sensible adult decision I’ll ever make.”
Another ’success story’ as the article skews it is Charlie McCann, who was sterilized on her 30th birthday and, we read, “is happy with her choice, insisting the men in her life have to adjust.” Her then boyfriend decided to adjust by ending the relationship because he couldn’t bear never having children.
Ironically, another woman speaks about how she first became interested in the idea of being sterilized after reading about the subject in a women’s magazine.
Jacquelyn Arnold tells of how she felt “irritation” at the sight of children playing in a garden and decided to go ahead with the operation, which is described in routine and straightforward terms. Arnold says she has no regrets and has ‘taken control of her life’.
Sterilization is lauded as an “excellent method of birth control” by Dr. Patricia Lohr of the British Pregnancy Advisory Service.
The article includes an advertisement that encourages women to seek “more information about sterilization” by contacting Marie Stopes International. We read that, “Over the past year, a quarter of the women who booked a sterilisation consultation with women’s charity Marie Stopes were aged 30 or under.”
Marie Stopes was a feminist who opened the first birth control clinic in Britain in 1921 as well as being Nazi sympathizer and a eugenicist who advocated that non-whites and the poor be sterilized.
Stopes, a racist and an anti-Semite, campaigned for selective breeding to achieve racial purity, a passion she shared with Adolf Hitler in adoring letters and poems that she sent the leader of the Third Reich.
Stopes also attended the Nazi congress on population science in Berlin in 1935, while calling for the “compulsory sterilization of the diseased, drunkards, or simply those of bad character.” Stopes acted on her appalling theories by concentrating her abortion clinics in poor areas so as to reduce the birth rate of the lower classes.
Stopes left most of her estate to the Eugenics Society, an organization that shared her passion for racial purity and still exists today under the new name The Galton Institute. The society has included members such as Charles Galton Darwin (grandson of the evolutionist), Julian Huxley and Margaret Sanger.
Ominously, The Galton Institute website promotes its support and funding initiative for “the practical delivery of family planning facilities, especially in developing countries.” In other words, the same organization that once advocated sterilizing black people to achieve racial purity in the same vein as the Nazis is now bankrolling abortions of black babies in the third world.
While the issue of abortion is an entirely different argument, most would agree that no matter how extreme it sounds, a woman has the right to sterilize herself if she so chooses, just as a man has the right to a vasectomy.

But when a magazine aimed primarily at young women all but encourages girls as young as 20 to have their fallopian tubes tied in order to prevent the “irritation” of children entering their lives and then advertises an organization founded by a Nazi eugenicist that can perform the operation, something has to be amiss.
Even more shocking than this is the fact that the majority of people in the UK routinely express their support for society’s “undesirables” to be forcibly sterilized by the state, harking back to a time when such a thing was commonplace right up to the 1970’s in some areas of America and Europe.
As we highlighted earlier this month, respondents to a Daily Mail article about Royal Mail honoring Marie Stopes by using her image on a commemorative stamp were not disgusted at Royal Mail for paying homage to a racist Nazi eugenicist, but were merely keen to express their full agreement that those deemed not to be of pure genetic stock or of the approved character should be forcibly sterilized and prevented from having children.
“A lot of people should be sterilized, IMO. It’s still true today,” wrote one.
“Just imagine what a stable, well-ordered society we’d have if compulsory sterilisation had been adopted years ago for the socially undesirable,” states another respondent, calling for a “satellite-carried sterilisation ray” to be installed in space to zap the undesirables.
Shockingly, another compares sterilization and genocide of those deemed inferior to the breeding and culling of farmyard animals, and says that such a move is necessary to fight overpopulation and global warming. Here is the comment in full from “Karen” in Wales;
We breed farm animals to produce the best possible stock and kill them when they have fulfilled their purpose. We inter-breed pedigree animals to produce extremes that leave them open to ill-health and early death. It is only religion that says humans are not animals. The reality is that we are simply intelligent, mammalian primates.
The world population of humans has increased from 2 billion to 6.5 billion in the last 50 years. This planet can support 2 billion humans comfortably. 6.5 billion humans use too many resources and leads to global warming, climate change and a very uncertain future for all of us – humans and all other life sharing this planet with us.
Marie Stopes believed in population control and in breeding the best possible humans. So did Hitler. Neither of the aims are bad in themselves. It is how they are achieved that is the problem. The fact that we still remember Marie Stopes is an achievement in itself.
The nature of these comments is so fundamentally sick and twisted that one is tempted to dismiss them as a joke – but these people are deadly serious. Presumably they would also agree with China’s one child policy, which is routinely enforced by intimidation as young pregnant women are grabbed off the streets by state goons and taken to hospitals where forced abortions are carried out.
Now with popular women’s magazines advising women in their 20’s where they can go to be sterilized and ensure a lifetime of partying and carefree sex, it’s no surprise that experts predict that by 2010 one in four western women will be child free for life.
The yearning to have children is the most beautiful, natural and innate emotion either a man or a woman can possibly experience. That is not to say that it’s always wrong for some people not to have children – extreme circumstances can justify such a decision. But to have yourself sterilized because you find children to be an “irritant” and want to live a life free of responsibility or consequences is an awful message to send to young women, especially in the sex-saturated entertainment culture that we are now forced to endure.
Furthermore, the outright promotion of Marie Stopes International as ‘the place to go’ to get sterilized if you’re under 30 is stomach-churning considering the fact that the origins of this organization can be found in Nazi ideology, racist and backward early 20th century eugenics and a long-standing agenda to cull the population of undesirables, an abhorrent belief still held by elites across the planet today.

On the flip side, if less young people have the moral and financial responsibility of raising children, they will be more susceptible to “waking up” since they’re not so invested in the false reality of our world. And if they do wake up, now they can more easily shift gears to help bring down the NWO. That’s my situation, anyway. Depopulation in this manner definitely has the potential for blowback. And to top it off, I just donate sperm anyway… more and more free-thinking kiddies are on the way

There is a good movie called, Der Kommisar, about a female red army seargent who gets pregnant and has to hide it because during the russian revolution if you were in the army and got pregnant you were shot for treason , for being so selfish as to become with child at the cost to the communist revolution. I’m sure that many dead Russian women , quite possibly rape victims as we see how males and females interact in Iraq would ring a warning bell regarding this article. I am a male, 30 years old and no children, and will have myself sterilized this year, I don´t want to put children on this planet with the NWO and Martial Law, Fema Camps etc etc just around the corner.
Just imagine the fact you see your child, just before you are seperated in a Fema Camp, knowing you put this child in this missery and knowing this was coming.

I am not here to say people or certain individuals are.

The fact is, you should have kids, and love them.
You don’t need sterilized, if you don’t wish to consent to having sex and creating the risk of beocming pregnant. This gives you an open opportunity later in life to have kids.
Don’t care about the NWO. You should however care abuot people being brainwahsed and help them see whats going on.

OK, I’ve been reading (and reposting) articles of interest from this site for over a year now and have known of Alex Jones and the associated websites & radioshows for a few years as well… However… the only thing I ever had against Alex and Ron Paul (as they both espoused the same idea) is that they appear to be anti-abortion… now, I know that simply means they are against people getting abortions, they would not recommend it to anyone, in general… Are they anti-choice, then? This I need answered definatively. I consider myself both anti-abortion & pro-choice… I was with planned parenthood earlier this year holding pro-choice signs and helping woman through the anti-abortion picket-lines… but I also appreciated the Good Friday prayer service for the unborn… I talked to both sides and philosophically, at least, I think there was actually little difference in what goals either side was trying to acheive… except I think it’s no one’s place to tell another person what to do, esp. w/ their bodies… in regards to both the decisions to either get or not to get an abortion or to sterilize… in other words- I guess you could say I *do* agree w/ the article’s main point- in that I think it’s just as wrong to *advertize, condone & recommend* abortions as it is for the right-wingers to tell people (and pass laws against) not to get an abortion (regardless of the arguement)… I apologize for the rambling nature of my response, I’m ADD and am NEVER going to take “meds” for it… deal w/ it!
On one hand though, I guess if a woman plans on being a drunken nympho her whole life, it would prevent a lot of mis-carriages, still-bornes, birth-defects, etc. -if a woman who planned on being that way her life sterilized… but an even better point to make would be to recommend to the youth of today to STOP BEING SUCH FUCKING WHORES and STOP POISONING YOURSELF TO DEATH… but, try telling that to the media… that’s where all their advertizing $$$ comes from! *l* sick fucking planet…

way to get a point across, pete… here’s a point to ponder… I love this website, most of the views expressed, and with the exception of this… we seem to agree on a lot of stuff… so.. you wanna talk about conditioning? How about the fact that once again this stupid SMOKE-SCREEN ISSUE has blurred our judgement and fixated us opun shit that doesn’t matter because it its’t of our concern… there are greater concerns… telling people what to do is fascism… I thought we were against that… if we are to promote freedom, than it’s a 2-way street, as they say. Your right Paul, this is “sick and twisted”. This is a wicked and evil generation. I do believe that girls are having babies way too young and are not financially prepared to support them, but to just out right and kill them and that is what abortion is is murder. I would almost rather see them sterilize themselves than to take another life. But they better realize when they are sterilized, thats it, theres no turning back. I feel like Im living in Logan’s Run. Now the British are discusing eliminating the elderly with Dementia or rather urging them to take their own lives so that they wont be a burden on their families. What the hell? What if they find a cure the next day? It’s not a Brave New World it’s a sick and twisted New World Order.

It *used* to be that a woman who couldn’t reproduce was called BARREN, of course, it also *used* to be considered extremely shameful to have BASTARD children (out of wedlock)… my how far we’ve come!
“Willis” is right – it is amazing how much the NWO programming has managed to dampen/reverse the most natural, beautiful (and strongest) of human instincts: to reproduce. Of course, that is the purpose of the “feminist” ideology: in addition to “thinning out” those races (and other undesirables), it also affects “whites” as well. It just makes the DePop program that much easier if it is voluntarily chosen through birth control methods like the “pill,” IUDs and voluntary sterilization procedures.
I will share my story: I needed to have a GYN procedure done; I was poor, have 6 kids in my family and my OB/GYN had a nurse push me (as hard as she could, but I’m very certain of my values and position on this matter!) to be voluntarily sterilized.
She kept telling me that I could have it (the necessary procedure) done as an in-patient procedure and then I could just be sterilized “while we’re in there” at the same time, and it wouldn’t hurt (as opposed to having the *necessary* procedure done in-office that she assured me would really hurt). I declined.
She asking me, “Why not? We can just go ahead and do it.” I persisted in declining and offered my initial reason, “I’m married. I don’t need to be sterilized.”
She kept asking me, saying, “Well why not? We can just go ahead and do it, and this way it won’t hurt.” I responded that I’m Catholic and birth control is against my religion. She persisted, and each time she asked me, she took a step closer to me, and became more forceful and demanding. The third time, I replied, “I DON’T need to be sterilized! I’m married, it’s against my religion, and I’m not having sex, so I *CAN’T* get pregnant anyway! So DON’T ask me again!”
I had a friend with me in the room (who was 300 lbs!), and I honestly believe that if my friend wasn’t here, they would not have asked me but knocked me out and done it anyway.
When she left the room, I heard my OB ask the nurse (right outside the door) if she had asked me. I heard her say, “I did but she won’t do it.” He asked her, “Did you push her? Did you *really* push her?” She replied, “I did, but she has a friend in there with her.” He said, “Damn.”
When the OB came in, even HE asked me again! He showed his disappointment at my answer. And when was performing my necessary procedure, he HURT ME ON PURPOSE in order to punish me for saying no!!! This was his way of getting me back… perhaps he wouldn’t get his “sterilization bonus”??
This happened at the Health Dept of CA. How many other women have they intimidated into sterilization procedures?!? I have a very strong personality, but many others are not strong enough to stand up to such pushy methods… Absolutely disgusting, and I will never, ever forget it!!
So I know with absolute certainty that the Depopulation program is real, and that almost – but not quite – forced sterilization is a POLICY in the USA.

BTW, I’m writing from my own opinions here… I owe no allegiance to what anyone else wants of me, not Planned Parenthood, not this website, not our gov’t, not my parents, nor anyone else view… on that note: I was just thinking to myself these things: 1) The more right-wing you get in this country, the more pro-life you are… i.e. George Bush & Cronies. 2) The media is slanted right-ward on most issues like this. 3) …although this same media also supports, in what they broadcast, people getting drunk, forgetting about protection, and fucking as much as possible. 4) more people = more spenders and shoppers… 5) what do ALL new parents share in common? a VASTLY increased cost-of-living 6) unless they’re hippies they’re prolly gonna drive all the way to wal-mart for that shopping 7) more $$$ for the elite…

I am against any other form of culling of the masses… genocide, forced or involuntary euthanasia (of those already past the 3rd trimester or birth til death) my own mother wants me to “pull the plug” if she ever becomes comatose or vegatated – as do I… Hunter S. Wow, people are always so ready to jump at what they think is the best solution that they never stop to think of the consequences until it’s too late. Sterilization is so permanent (at least in women) that it’s retarded to use that as a means of birth control. I can understand a mother doing it if she doesn’t want any more children but people doing it to never have children shows such a laziness on their part. How hard is it to use a regular pill birth control, the patch, a condom, a diaphragm, hell even go and get the morning after pill (and no it’s not abortion). Any and all of these things work, if you use them. I think the real reason they target women in this article though is due to the fact that a vasectomy can sometimes be known to have slip-ups so they want to definitely be sure these people aren’t reproducing. On the lighter side, at least these morons wont be teaching their own moronic offspring how to be good little slaves.

I wish sometimes more people would get sterilized because I have seen countless abuse and neglect of children, the parents aren’t around, there is no father and then children usually turn out with no compassion at the vital age, thus becoming cold and criminal. Then these careless people go off have more children and continue the process of neglect and abuse. How selfish is that? Adoption doesn’t always help. They need money to take care of these kids and sometimes these kids don’t get adopted and are in and out of homes. I know atleast where I live there are too many kids in these adoption places and not enough people adopting making it hard to keep feeding and providing for these children.
Its just depends on the person and it takes time to know what you want,but I know I have felt this way and continuously feel I do not want a child in this world.

Poverty, famine, unemployment, greed/hoarding, dwindling resources, pollution, most of which ultimately lead to war, are a direct result of overpopulation. Every newborn is potentially a future taxpayer and soldier – is it any wonder most governments don’t do more to encourage any and all forms of birth control? The upper class gets richer because there are more of us lower class folks footing the bill. At some point the planet is going to be unable to sustain the human population, yet people choose to have half a dozen or more children then complain about skyrocketing cost of living, poor healthcare, GMO food, you name it. There may have been a time (dawn of time) when mankind needed to get its numbers up simply for survival, but we removed ourselves from the food chain a long time ago, we live longer lives than ever before and hell, we can’t even take our own lives without some kind of government involvement. A great number of people have children simply because they can, because they want the tax break or because it’s what is expected of them by their families and friends, but sadly very few look at the impact of their decisions. No single raindrop is responsible for the flood, right? Wrong, we’re all responsible, yet as a society we’re totally irresponsible – leaving the door wide open for Big Brother to swoop down and dictate how we’re supposed to live.

I would like to see how many of the staff and people involved in the Marie Stoopes Organization have been sterilized? How many of the doctors performing the sterilization are sterilized or who’s wife is sterilized and how many of their family members including their daughters? I would guess a small percentage if any. It almost appears the article is targeting middle-class women and encouraging them to spend the remainder of their life’s focusing on materialistism. I don’t see anything wrong with not having children but deciding in your early 20’s seems too young to be certain. As individuals we are always changing and gaining new perspectives; at least that is what we should be doing. No one is the same person at 30 that they were at 20 (unless you’re running the country, then no matter what you never change your mind). What happened to condoms? And they protect against most STI’s and STD’s, which sterilizations does not.

All of the financial, health, diminishing of resources are due to the rich taking too much not the poor. Well, I am glad to see that we, being the civilized people that we are, have evolved to a point that we are now concerned only with ourselves and our own pleasure and no longer enjoy the sight of a child playing outside, but now consider them an irritation. I would have liked to think that humans were different than animals. That we have the ability to love one another and care for those who are weaker than ourselves and to be willing to sacrifice our selfish desires for the good of others. But I would agree that we are becoming more animal-like all the time.
Even if we are animals, we are intelligent enough to rise-above this behavior. Instead of saying “we are just animals anyway…so let’s act like animals”, we should be saying “No, we have the ability and intelligence to rise above this and to be greater than just animals, only looking out for ourselves.” What is the point of having evolved so far if we are only going to turn around and tell ourselves “we are only animals anyway, so let’s revert to a lesser state of being”. Bullshit. This is the lazy way out and we are better than that…or at least we can be better.
I don’t think that everyone should have children. Certainly it is everyone’s right to choose not to have a child. Some people aren’t “baby people” and that is ok. But there are many, many people out there who desperately want a child. What alarms me is that this article is championing a purely selfish attitude on the part of these individuals. If they were saying “I don’t want the responsibility of having another person dependent on me 24/7, and I don’t think that I would be a good parent. Therefore I am choosing not to bring a child into the world because I do not feel that it would be fair to a child to have a parent like me”, that would be one thing. But what has our society come to that we applaud people who view children with disdain and disgust?
Regardless of whether or not you personally want a child of your own, our society is in a sad state when we cannot hear the laughter of a child on the playground, and cherish it for the beautiful thing that it is! Are we really this harsh and unloving? What happened to the days when Patience was a virtue??? And what are these women like in other relationships? Are they loving friends, generous lovers, contributors to our society in any way that does not directly benefit themselves? It doesn’t sound like it. You can’t have this self-focused an attitude in one area without it spilling into other areas as well.
As to the issue of forcibly sterilizing people, there are plenty of people whom I don’t think are fit to parent and should not be having children. But who am I to determine that? Who is anyone else to take that basic right away from another individual. And in case you all haven’t noticed, the government always abuses it’s power. one day they are sterilizing people whom you agree are “undesirable candidates for parenthood” and the next day they are pulling you out of bed and forcibly sterilizing you and/or your partner. Who gets to decide which of us is good enough to make the grade? How dare we even consider violating ANYONE in this way.
I may not feel that someone SHOULD have a baby, but I will fight until the day I die for their right to do so. And if they do, and if they need help raising the child, I will step in and do my part to support them and to create a better environment for their children as well. Because it does take a community to raise a child. And if we would all step out of our own little worlds and be willing to invest in the people around us, THAT is what would heal our society. NOT killing off those that we feel are “in the way”.

I agree less people should be having children, but it has nothing to do with race. It comes down to a few simple facts. If you can’t pay all of your bills and have money left over; you should not have a child. If you are selfish and want to party, travel, or screw everything on the face of the earth; you should not have a child. If you find children irritating; you should not have a child. If you have a drug habbit or serious drinking problem; you should not have a child. People with these issues come in all colors, all walks of life. I’m white and had two junkie parents who had no business having kids. If some girl decides at 20 that she wants to party her little butt off and screw around then by all means let her sterilize herself. If at 35 she settles down and decides she wants a family she can always adopt. That takes one homeless child and gives them a home. Funny, I’m curious if this is a purely or majorly UK/European phenomenon. Here in the States, instead of being regarded as an “irritation” – which they can be at time, just like adults – children are more like an “accessory.” Not outwardly, mind you, but that kind of subconscious regard is there.
Just take a look at people’s attitudes towards their children here, how they approach their schooling, activities, clothes, etc., etc. It’s like parents see kids as they’d see a fancy handbag or luxury car; just another “accessory” to top off their otherwise empty lives. It’s a shame.

I, for one, am excited to see an article that brings the idea of voluntary sterilization into the light, being a woman who does not plan to have children of her own, and who has also gone to great lengths to ensure this. It’s upsetting that the people whose comments the article chose to publish were doing it on a superficial level, and that there are far more women out there who would rather not breed just because they simply are not fond of children or have no desire to procreate. Though the idea of being serilized so you can go out and party whenever and however you want (though I would think that the possibility of transmitting a sexual disease is a little scarier than getting pregnant) is an idea that I cannot identify with, doesn’t mean that she isn’t exhibiting a sense of responsibility. If she wants to do that for the rest of her life, more power to her that she had the sensibility to look ahead and prevent unwanted pregnancy.
I’m just glad that there is SOME light being brought to the women who prefer not to have children. I found nothing wrong with the article, other than the type of women who the journalist interviewed seemed kind of dim-witted. I think the response to the article was a bit over the top.

Just seeing some of the posts on this article, supporting planned family, parenthood – etc., makes me wonder if there is any hope for our species! The gift to procreate is a very real gift! Some of you just don’t get it! Your children are the future of your society and the future of our species. Nature designed us to procreate for the simple reason of survival of the species. Each child can grow up to contribute his/her natural talents to the greatness of our species and our societies. You just don’t get it that it’s the globalists’ dream to have most of us sterilized, if not altogether gone!
Child bearing should be considered Nature’s most prized gift that any woman and many men should cherish. It is the gift of bringing in new life and continuing the existence of our kind. It is not a gift to be taken for granted. It is not a gift that should be freely given up! The greatest natural form of population stabilization is prosperity. Those regions that are full of prosperity are usually the ones that have a stable population. Rather than attempt to “cull” the populations, WE should help teach them how to flourish and PROSPER! One must always be aware of who or what is influencing their decisions. Have a mind of your own. What I find disturbing is that this magazine is trying to make peoples mind up for them. Let women chose on their own. What ever they chose with their own mind is fine. But I encourage people to do research before they jump up and do something. Also think like a chess master, always think ahead by a certain amount of moves. Understand that one decision leads to X case of probabilities and another decision leads to Y case of possibilities. In summary no one should not attempt to decide things for other people without their consent and in making decisions consider that your decision will influence the arrow of time, it goes beyond that particular moment or region of time. Always be aware that a person could change their mind so one must keep their options open IF ONE IS ABLE TO. Someone or some magazine trying to influence peoples mind is the crime here. People should do their own soul searching and research and act on that.

I notice a lot of women who have commented that they do not want children and consider them an annoyance… these women seem to think that their thoughts and position on this are somehow their own. How wrong they are!! The single strongest biological urge is to procreate!!!
In a study done it was shown that young, fertile women dressed much more provocatively and went out to clubs when they were at their most fertile during a given month (study covered multiple months and multiple persons), whereas the rest of the month they did not. The women were completely unconscious of this fact, yet they *thought* that it was their idea to dress like a slut and go clubbing, perhaps “hook up” that night. Case in point for the biological urge to procreate: it is so strong as to affect our behavior to behave in ways that we normally wouldn’t, and think nothing of it – despite it a) not being a good idea to become pregnant with some stranger, and b) one may not even like the father!
The women commenters who stated they find children a hindrance and annoying similarly are acting out something unconscious: their FEMINIST PROGRAMMING! In this case, they actually believe it is their own idea, however, it is in reality a testament to the *power of feminist programming* that they could completely ignore the most basic human instinct a female of reproductive age can (and does) have.

I am *positive* that my experience was not unique – I am a very strong woman… many others are not so strong and would have succumbed under the same amount of pressure (see my previous post).
My point is that there IS, a planned sterilization program going on in the US, besides Native American women, who, if hospitalized, are _not allowed to be discharged_ until they agree to “The Shot” – even though they are not told what is in it or what it is for (!!) – it is happening here, too.
The way it works is that population reduction can be done a number of different ways: voluntary (pill, condom, IUD, surgically), with minimal coercion, with overt coercion (a la Native American women), or forcibly (either overt or covertly, e.g., sterilant added to water, vaccine, foods, etc. such as in Africa). What you are seeing now with the subject article/program is voluntary: by making it “cool” and “now” for those who are obviously so brainwashed, poisoned, superficial and PROGRAMMED, this will be a natural progression: “Great! Surgical sterilization is for me – I want to be footloose and fancy-free and be as slutty and/or selfish as I want. Woo-hoo!”
What these poor girls are not told is that sterilization, because of its eviceration of our most natural instinct will, in time, leave them feeling hollow, empty and unfulfilled.
All those who have written about not wanting to bring another soul into this troubled world – take heart. Times all throughout history have been troubled; there have always been wars, famine, and disasters… and the world has always been governed by the elite of the time. Now is nothing new except technology.
If we all waited until we were “ready” or were “financially stable” we wouldn’t be here!! MOST of us are “accidents”… consider that for a moment~

Five years ago, in my 30s and concerned about the long-term availability of reliable birth control in the U.S., I underwent a tubal ligation.
Just as people have children for selfish and unselfish reasons, people choose not to have children for “selfish” and “unselfish” reasons as well. In my case, I know that:
1.) Due to my neurlogical wiring (which includes both “gifts” and “disabilities,” including sensory hypersensitivity) I am totally unsuited to care for an infant, and knew this even as a young teenager.
2.) As one of the “hidden disabled,” I have learned many, many times via personal experience that, despite lip service given across the political spectrum to celebrating human differences, most contemporary societies do not fully tolerate people who are “different.” During “good” times we are still likely to be second-class citizens; during “bad” times we are scapegoated, even destroyed.
3.) Those who have children in America must enter them, by default, in the “hypercompetitive Amerilympics,” where children begin squabbling for academic and social status even in preschool. This was bad enough when I was a child, and is much worse now.
4.) Relating to number #3, I know that if I had my own child, I would have to care less about other people’s children. This is biological as well as socioeconomic, as proven in the former USSR and other “communist” societies.
5.) Like some other posters, I have no desire to bring children into a world that is at high risk of environmental disaster and fascist rule.
6.) Just as no government should demand (China) or outlaw (Ceasescu’s Romania) abortion, no government should demand or outlaw sterilization.
7.) Regardless of whether you choose childlessness or parenthood, please remember that not everyone’s life is meant to resemble yours! Respect fosters respect, and intolerance breeds intolerance.

I think that most of these comments are missing the point. I see a lot of purely emotional rebuttals and no attention to core issue here. It seems that a lot of the women posting comments are getting totally wrapped up in the whole “women’s right to choose” thing. It’s not about that. Fine you have a right to choose. Whatever. We get it bla bla bla!! The point is that this woman’s mag article is promoting sterilization and wrapping it in a politically correct little bow and making it appealing to women. However at it’s core its nothing more than a glamorized method of population control and it stems from Nazi eugenics philosophy! When I was rocked up in El Camino Hospital, I might be sterialized after the rape done by the anthropologists like Dr. Roberto Gonzales. I think the people working for gang stalking are capable of doing anything that seems right from their views. I think more people are sterilized without knowing it. It can happen when the children are on a trip to a boy/girl scout activities, as well as an annual meeting for organizations that keeps people stay in one or two hotels. When I was 13-24 I had no desire whatsoever to have kids. They annoyed the crap out of me. By the time I was 25 I felt desperate to have a baby.
I never thought of being sterilized. I just agonized over how horrible having a kid would be.
If I had choose to sterilize myself I would probably be suicidal today. Three kids later I feel far different about the world and myself then when I was younger.
But I also was never so stupid to even consider sterilization…so if those girls are that dumb and sheeple that they would take the advice of someone telling them to sterilize at a young age…then maybe it is better for society not to have morons with no thought to how feelings and hormones change as they age. I see both sides I am for it if you choose to do it but against it when it is forced upon you without consent or desire. i.e China’s governments 1 child rule.

I agree with hormonal surge, children are a beautiful, they are not things they are someones child. Some women love children & can never have, then some women have when they should not. To be a expecting mother, is a a feeling that nothing or no one can change, and when that day finally cames when you are able to hold your gift you know that you have done the right thing. Children are gifts to us, we are to love/care/cherish/keep safe/teach them/nurture, my list could go on for ever. When your young, you are actually foolish/immature & say & alot of things. I have 5 Wonderful/beautiful (my list could be long again) children, they are my life.
Yes it is a persons choice to do as they please with ones body, but you should not steralize yourself so you can have a happy go luck life, & it should not be FORCED upon ANYONE, because they my be an undesirable.

There are a lot of posts here about the “gift of childbearing” and procreation, thinking that several women who are choosing not to give in to the act of procreating is going to doom our species. K… Even if all the women in North America decided not to have children, for whatever their individual reasons are, believe me, the human race will NOT die out. There are plenty of irresponsible people out there more than willing to pop out babies left and right. No guarantee that they will become the best or brightest people in the world, but the human race is in no way in danger of falling off the face of this earth due to women sterilizing themselves (especially in a reversable fashion).
Seems strange to me, also, that so much negative attention is being placed on the act of female sterilization and not men having vasectomies. hmm. I bet if there was a positive article in a magazine about male sterilization, it wouldn’t receive as much flack as this.

Ever since i was, well, young enough to comprehend motherhood and birth i knew i was meant to be a mother. I am now beginning to approach the time in my life ive been patiently waiting for to start my own family, I have found the man i love and want nothing more than to bear his children. But i see this world and i question myself. how can i bring something, that to my eyes will be the most beautiful thing in existance, to be ruined be this selfish world. Will I be a good enough to teach them not only how to survive this wasteland but to rise up above it, uncorrupted? Will I be able to teach them that there is more to life then money, greed, power, supremasy? I know in my heart that the doubts I hold on to, not only of the world but also in myself, will not hold long and my test will come. And, in my heart I also know, i will not disappoint myself or my children.
so that being said, everyone should have the choice. an educated, uninfluenced choice regarding their ability or aspirations to have children. They should choose for themselves. That being said, it does appear many people are having children that shouldnt, but that shouldnt keep those that should from doing so.

Sterilization is morally incorrect, plain and simple. It is abominable, your body is not your own, it belongs to God who gave it to you and to Jesus Christ who has paid the ransom for it. The purpose of sex is procreation. Any attempt to deliberately and knowingly obstruct this purpose is abominable. Sex and procreation can not be seperated from each other. Contraception is a perversion of the sex act and thus destroys it’s beauty and true pleasure. Sex is therefore for married people only as children have the right to grow up in a stable and loving environment as God intended and to know the people who have brought him into the world and to have a loving and caring relationship with them. But no one believes in The Good lord up Above any more and the earth is made of bronze and the sky is made of steel and there is no such thing as evil or the devil waiting for you down below if you have lived a wicked life. Modifiying our bodies to prevent God’s plan is an attempt against God himself. Nobody created their own body and nobody created their own life. Our bodies are being “leased” to us and we have to respect them as the property of a higher power that they are. If you don’t want kids, well that’s ok and there are enough (spiritually licit) birth-control products available. Sex isn’t just for having babies, it’s also for a husband and a wife to just plain enjoy (as shocking as that may be for some christian fundamentalists). But to destroy that ability in the body, whether your 20 and female or 45, father of 3 and male is another thing. We’ll all respond to God when the day comes, beleive it or not.

Whether the author of the article likes it or not there are definite positives in favour of human sterilisation and the management of population control. The ideals though are open to abuse. Being sentimental about the global population explosion will lead mankind down a path of suffering. Suffering on an unimaginable scale. Who will be the ones who will suffer most? Those people without the resources. Where would those people most likely be who would suffer most? Developing nations. Places where people are being screwed over by greed. If you want to know what I’m talking about do some reading on why Ethiopian and other North African farmers who grow coffee are finding it easier to rather cultivate khat & opium in order to see a profit as the price fixing by Starbucks kills off their livelihood. Brilliant! I applaud the orginator of this suggestive psychological operation as the greatest, irrevocably, “mind-bender” this world has ever known, to date. To think that these undesirable women, whom we will eventually pass legislation to force sterilization, are voluntarily ending their bloodline. Neither Himmler, Stope, Pike, etc. could force this, but, using societal “fad” and convenience, we have designed a way to make those undesirable women enter sterilization program’s willingly! Undoubtedly the most brilliant psychological operation known to man. While, yes, we will and are drafting legislation, under the guise of other program’s and initiative’s, to force sterilization of women just like this, it’s refreshing to know there are those who recognize that they don’t deserve to continue their bloodline and are using sterlization to stop themselves from breeding future ignorant generation’s.
While eventually we will have to, through law, force those who aren’t currently voluntarily complying, be assured that as easily as women are manipulated, especially regarding this eugenic’s program, they will institute other program’s to force them to comply, again, without their knowledge and the belief that the individual is making this decision upon his own initiative. After all, if we do legalize prostitution, these promiscuous who*re’s will be needed to staff brothel’s, without the risk of pregnancy of an unwanted child.
