A popular National Rifle Association commentator examined the life and teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and came to one conclusion — King supported the Second Amendment. Sorry, liberals.

Colion Noir based his conclusion on the fact that King and his family were the subject of repeated acts of violence and he tried — unsuccessfully — to obtain a concealed handgun license.

“Dr. King was a non-violent man, but even he understood the realities of self-defense,” he observed, before making his conclusion.

“In my heart, based on Dr. King’s own actions, I don’t believe that Dr. King would ever advocate leaving a family, or anyone for that matter, defenseless in the face of violent life threatening danger,” Noir said.
