Thousands of people marched peacefully in Washington D.C. on Saturday, to honor Texas Congressman Ron Paul’s campaign for liberty, yet the mainstream media uniformly failed to issue a single written report on the event in its aftermath.
The goal of the event was to organize a peaceful, non-violent march on the streets of Washington D.C. followed by a rally outside the Capitol building in support of restoring constitutional government as the founding fathers set forth.

This is all the proof we need. If this was people marching for gay rights or against a new tax the media would be all over it! From the photos, I gather it was more an anti-war march than anything! “Gitmo is illegal”, “Islam is not our enemy” and “No war with Iran”! Ron Paul is the only man we can turn to to lead the way!
It’s clear from their complicity that the mainstream media are generally pro-war. Which is why we should be standing up and taking down the establishment through peaceful protests and alternative media!

I believe Ron Paul is a good man, we were not ready for Jimmy Carter either. To tell the American people the truth, it is not in the relm of what most Americans are ready for. When they areI truly hope a Jimmy Carter or Ron Paul type steps up to the plate. So now folks we have to get by with what we have.

The USA has basically been fascist since its inception, but the modern postwar coup d’estate occured when LBJ, the CIA, the Pentagon, the Military/Industrial Complex, and the mob together had JFK murdered. (”All of them?” you ask. Yes, my friend, they often work together. When agents of the US government want a ‘hit’ performed, they often outsource it to criminals who cannot be traced back to the government.) The Bush Administration is just a consolidation of their power, not a shift or an emergence. The roots and power of fascism run deep in the USA, and it will take much more than an election to uproot them. It will take a shooting, burning, French-style Revolution.

Ciaran: I wish you were right about peaceful protests, but I believe that the USA has gone way too far down the path of fascism for street protests or even worker’s strikes to have much effect. For the time being, I do very much believe in attending rallies, mind you — I think that they are important for developing a sense of solidarity and networking with other activists and dissidents. But we will never successfully root out the fascism in the USA without a shooting, French-style Revolution.
The criminals involved in the perpetration of 9/11 alone number in the thousands, and we must hang all of them to prevent them from returning to the same type of Treasonous, murderous activities and also to send a message to all other would-be Traitors that the citizens of this country will no longer tolerate fascism. Those people will not surrender willingly; if you want freedom and justice in the USA, you’ll need to fight for it. Or get out of the way.
And we won’t be able to defeat the fascists without ‘breaking some eggs’ and enduring a lot of hardship. Since they control the infrastructure, we will need to disable the infrastructure to defeat them. That means destroying the power grid, the telecommunications network, and the transportation system on which they depend for exerting their authority. In the process we need to make them suffer as much or more than we do. We need to put them in a situation where it’s all they can do to struggle for food and defend their homes from ‘the rampaging mob’. When the soldiers that are sent to ‘restore order’ start abandoning their posts and go home to support and protect their own families, we will know that the tide is turning in our favor.
When a new government is formed, let’s make sure that no secrecy of any kind is permitted. The CIA and anything that resembles it will have to disappear. And let’s find a way to remove the possibility of profiteering from public service as a government official.

Do you really think that they would allow there to be a candidate who would bring real change? Like Ron Paul would?
Mc Cain is insane, and Obama is a liar. Both are in the pockets of Aipac. Which spells more wars in the Middle East, and alot more of our youth coming home in boxes. Many of my fellow US citizens are fooled into thinking voting these people out will make a difference. Either candidate would violate US security in a heartbeat, to provide a safer Israel. We have been fooled into thinking we live in a democracy, when we are actually a Constitutional republic. Democracy means majority rule, and we the people arent the majority, politicians dont do the will of the people, they do the will of the lobbyists, and their campaign funders. Think on this. Any organization is eventually subject to corruption. Organizations have a greater chance to be stopped and shut down. If there is a tangible organization then attacks can be aimed and defenses can be prepared. So try this.
Do something for yourself. You need no group or organization.
Every choice you make affects the power of the elite over the masses. So do some research. Find out what the elite own, and do not support it. Pick up some literature. Investigate for you news. That seems to be the only way to get anything of any substance from the media these days.

Spot the retard on the forum with absolutely nothing to debate. An insult is all he has. I was tought from an early age “empty vessels make the most noise”, and if user “IN- SANE” had 1 brain cell, it would be lonely as hell. I do not advocate euthenasia(sp) but in your case I think I’d make an exception.
He’s clearly an American who either dropped out of school, because his only hope (sport) he just wasn’t any good. His tutors decided if he didn’t make it in sport he was fooked, because he’s so stupid. If he graduated with any kind of merits/qualifications then it was by the skin of his teeth. Yep, he’s a seethrough piece of inanimate plastic. Though no doubt there are pieces of plastic really offended by this.

No cover up of Ron Paul in the Media? He won many online contests for president on the internet. Dr. Paul certainly has a large base to continue this revival to restore the Constitution and as more awake from the mental propaganda they have been forcefed from the media that ignores Ron Paul we will begin to see positive change. As for the communists who fraud themselves as having derogatory things to say about leaders in the effort to restore the constitution… may you live in the hell you deserve for we deny your efforts to steal our freedom.

Even the local washington media ignored this event. I was there and I didn’t see any major or local media. Where was Fox News, where was CBS, where was NBC, PBS, ABC, anybody????? For those that argue that our media does not work together, this event is a perfect example, not forgetting thousands of others. The only media that was there was the independent media. I was pleased that most people that attended brought a camcorder or camera and put it all on the web. Internet is our last hope people, internet is our last hope for freedom and diversity….
