Media Matters: Glenn Beck Gets His Talking Points from Alex Jones

Media Matters, the supposed media watch dog group linked to the globalist George Soros, says Glenn Beck sounds like Alex Jones.

“In his response to the announcement that President Obama had been awarded the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize, Glenn Beck sounded at times like conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, all while continuing to willfully ignore the currents of racially motivated violence flowing within the 9-12 ‘movement’ he is working to build,” writes John V. Santore, a former Obama campaign organizer and congressional speech writer.
Santore quotes Beck, who said: “These progressives are extraordinarily powerful. And this campaign of Barack Obama, this global campaign for Barack Obama, is done by global interests that have extraordinary power. They’re very well connected.”
The Media Matters and Huffington Post blogger then makes a sarcastic comment about Beck’s assertion. “Point taken, Glenn. Everyone knows that the Nobel Committee has been in the pocket of the Tri-Lateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Relations for years. It’s all part of the New World Order.”
Not exactly. The idea was cooked up by Alfred Nobel, the merchant of death who invented dynamite and ran the Swedish armaments manufacturer Bofors. The “prize” is often awarded to the worst sort of psychopaths, including Henry Kissinger. Hitler was found to have the appropriate mojo but did not receive the award. Other questionable figures have received the award, including Jimmy Carter, Mikhail Gorbachev, and the climate change fraudster Al Gore. Carter was an active member of the Trilateral Commission and Al Gore is a member of the CFR, so Santore is not completely out in left field.
The Nobel Peace Prize is irrelevant and Obama’s award is a sideshow. Santore lends to the distraction by quoting Glenn Beck. “The Nobel Peace Prize should be turned down by Barack Obama and given — you ready for this? Oh, this one’s gonna make headlines — should be given to the Tea Party goers and the 9-12 Project.”
Santore then claims the Tea Party and 9-12 Project are rife with racists. He produces a photo of a placard somebody held up at the September 12 event in Washington to make his point. Like the Department of Homeland Security, he insinuates that advocates of the Second Amendment are dangerous terrorists. He takes Beck to task for not denouncing these folks who are routinely portrayed as racists and rightwing gun nuts by the corporate media.
“So let’s be clear: Beck is proud that his movement is deliberately standing in the way of those who seek to promote world peace. And he is ecstatic that his supporters are hurting President Obama’s chances of manifesting the aspirations of Alfred Nobel and all those who have won the Nobel Peace Prize,” writes the Soros funded Media Matters blogger. “This isn’t the product of a cogent political philosophy. It’s politically expedient nihilism.”
World peace, as promoted by Hitler, Kissinger, and now Barack Obama, the “anti-war candidate” who is in the process of radically expanding he occupation of Afghanistan and enlarging the Pentagon’s policy of killing villagers in Pakistan and anybody else the U.S. government declares to be in league with a CIA-created terrorist group. World peace, as devised by a merchant of death who invented a substance that has killed millions of people. It doesn’t get much more surreal than this.
Glenn Beck does not get his talking points from Alex Jones. Instead he attempts to discredit what Jones says. Examples include Beck’s attempt to debunk the existence of FEMA camps and more recently his dismissal of the story about the American Police Force in Hardin, Montana.
Glenn Beck’s 9-12 Project is a deliberate attempt to undercut the Tea Party and patriot movements.
Earlier this year, Amy Kremer, Tea Party Patriots’ National Coordinator, said the movement was being hijacked by establishment Republicans. “We do not want it to be a GOP movement,” she told Newsmax.

The stated purpose of Beck’s movement is to get America where it was on September 12, 2001, which is interesting considering Beck’s animosity toward the 9/11 truth movement and in particular the families of 9/11 victims.
It’s about hijacking and taming the Tax Day Tea Party protests, the Independence Day Tea Party protests, and the September 12, 2009, Taxpayer March on Washington. Beck has an established track record of sabotaging the patriot movement. More than any other corporate media figure, he was responsible in wrecking the presidential campaign of Ron Paul. He characterized Paul’s supporters as dangerous terrorists and repeatedly called Paul a kook.
Few seem to see the absurdity of a corporate media television show host claiming to be the leader of a grassroots political movement. Fox News is owned by corporate media tycoon and neocon Rupert Murdoch.
Murdoch’s News Corp., the world’s largest media empire, has holdings in film, television, cable, newspapers, books, magazines, and more. Properties include the New York Post, the National Geographic Channel, HarperCollins Books, and 20th Century Fox. In 2006, Murdoch acquired MySpace, the popular social networking website, as part of Fox Interactive Media. Murdoch not only enthusiastically supported the invasion of Iraq but his network was at forefront of disseminating lies and fabrications that made the invasion and murder of over a million Iraqis possible.
Murdoch hosted a fundraiser for Senator Hillary Clinton in 2006. In early summer 2008, a “tentative truce” was brokered during a secret meeting between Barack Obama, Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes, the president of the Fox News Channel and former Nixon and Bush operative, at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel in New York.
Murdoch and Glenn Beck do not support the patriot movement. Beck’s role is to capture as much of the movement as possible and turn it into a harmless sideshow. The 9-12 movement, regardless of the number of sincere Americans who support it, is another attempt by the establishment to continue and magnify the false right-left paradigm and steer meaningful political change down a dead-end that renders if ineffective.

I have to agree, I pay some attention to Beck, only because he does get alot of his information from infowars!!
He doesn’t stick his head out like Alex, he’s too afraid of making his bosses mad at him!
But there are alot of things that he does to countermand his own statements, IF he actually stuck to one way of thinking, or basic principles, I would have more respect for him even if they disagreed with my own! But in that is where he shows the fraudulent side of his show!!
But if Beck ever did tell the whole truth, he WOULD be discredited and shunned by his mentor Bill O’Reilly, O’Reilly has said as much on his own show with Becj beside him!

I think Beck is up to something. He has always been an amazing asshole who talks to his audience like they are the students of his first grade class. He uses chalk boards and pointers and gestures wildly while making really bizzare faces. He’s a creep. Now suddenly he’s a libertairian freedom lover. Bullshit! He has supported every unconstitutional thing that’s ever come down the pike and now we’re supposed to believe he’s for real? I’m not buying it. It’s a psyop – he’s using the truth to discredit the truth by framing it in his usual inciteful stye. That brings the dialogue of the truth movement into the mainstream but in an incincere fashion. It just comes across as another facet of the L/R paradigm so mainstream people will not understand it for the truth, but as a topic to agree or disagree on, but not anything that will wake anyone up. By comeparing AJ to GB this then morphs over to AJ and he is labeled another Glem Beck type right winger. That’s some slick shit to say the least.

This is purely speculation, but I don’t think Glenn Beck really cares at all about anything but getting off work. He probably knows that it doesn’t matter if he went “full” Alex Jones because the American People still wouldn’t motivate or change anything. People are bored with politics, they don’t want to fight any more battles, not right now anyway, and Glenn Beck knows it – so does Kieth Olbermann and the other media Gods whom people choose to pay their respects to. The point is just this: Glenn Beck either knows what he is doing and doesn’t care, doesn’t know what he is doing, thinks he knows a lot about how politics work but doesn’t, or really does have an agenda, like a paid government worker. Anyway, he probably isn’t going off the air anytime soon, so just ignore the guy, or boycott any company that sponsors his show.

You have to admit, a lot of Alex’s listeners clearly buy into Fox News and Beck. I may not agree with Mr. Beck on everything he says but I don’t find myself agreeing with anybody totally. Nobody alive today is as wise as our founders. I don’t even agree with all the things Ron Paul says, but I support both Paul and Beck in what they are trying to do…. Small federal government, that is what the founders wanted. As for him being a republican, so is Ron Paul, neither of them is mainstream republican. These people who respond on here seem like they don’t believe anything anybody says but Alex Jones. Everybody has an agenda even Alex Jones, listen to all, be discerning, be vigilant, stand by the Constitution and what the writings of our founders tell us. Follow those who most closely follow the Constitution and those writings.

How long have we all been complaining about the corruption in Washington? Here we have a fearless exposer of corruption and he is relentlessly villified. Any idiot can check the facts. What could be the motive of those who don’t, but claim to know he’s wrong; or worse, resort to the usual name calling and ridiculing.

Glenn Beck is a snake. He supported Bush and Cheneys illegal wars, Patriot Act, and criticized those who are against them. Have you seen Becks show during the Bush years? Glenn Beck is a liar. He loves wasting the US taxpayers money while saying hes against it, he loves war while saying hes against it, he loves the Republican party and pretends he is against both parties, he says he loves the constitution but has a long record of supporting measures that erode it. And you fall for it all.
Enjoy your mainstream media like zombie, Fox is actually worse than the rest, though all of its bad and it’s pretty pathetic to fall for Beck or Fox’s obvious bullshit. If you watch Glen Beck for just about any amount of time, his mannerisms, eye movements, antics, tone and just about everything else he does will strike you as FAKE, conjured up and an ACT..and a BAD one at that!!.
When I first saw him he INSTANTLY reminded me of the exposed FAKE PREACHER Robert Tilton, who uses tears on command, crying, whining, batting his eye like a FREAKING GIRL, ridiculous vocal tones and a bunch of other typical CON MAN tactics to of course, get people to send in that false preacher favorite of $1000..even if you don’t HAVE it..just pledge it anyway they say!!..
He’s nothing but a false preacher and priest for Satan just like every major movie star, music “artist” and politician out there.

The idea here is to sacrifice one of their own by comparing him to a real patriot and truth teller for our freedoms.
Realize this people!
Glenn Back is a sacrifice at the altar of the New World Order, so that they can use him as an example of what not to be and then go after real Americans like AJ.
In the end Beck may get a little cozy spot on an island for his sacrifice, or he may just end up dumped in a ditch, as Hitler did with his top guys who knew too much.
Either way we will probably never know.

I think too much is made of the so called influence of Glen Beck.. in my opinion, any publicity shining a light (be it positive or otherwise) on the Patriot Movement is a good thing. The information regarding the power elite is being disseminated and the truth will win out. We should forget all of the red herrings and keep focus on the conquering the biggest bunch of dirty rotten thieves in modern history by shutting down the stinking Federal Reserve Corporation which would eliminate its domination over the United States and the western world. Glen Beck also talked a lot of trash about Ron Paul back during the election, then he had him on his radio show sympathizing with him and all around disgruntled America. There is something wrong at the highest levels of our government, everyone agrees to this basically. At least everyone outside of government. It didn’t start with GWBush and it won’t end with Barack Obama. The Republicans are blaming the Democrats and the Democrats are blaming the Republicans. But, it has nothing to do with being Democrat or Republican. The two party system we have now, is nothing more than a two-headed snake. Both parties have, over the last 40 years or so, been involved in government expansion and corruption. It’s rather like two grifters come to town looking for easy money. While one of the grifters gets your attention, the other one picks your pockets. Then every 4 to 8 years these two con-men switch roles. The people are trapped between them, first turing to one and then to the other, but never seeing any real change or improvement in their lives. The problem with these two grifters is that they will never leave town, not until we the people shut both them down and form new parties, of the people, by the people and for the people!

I alone, but with the monetary support of a few others, handed out about 1,500 copies.
Some people in a group I’m involved with asked me not to do this as they thought it would not be well received and asked me to support their goings on at the event. Only a handful of people gave me back the article and I was only able to find a few copies in the round files after the event. Quite a few people did thank me for what I was doing though.
So, In doing this, I did ask many people the question “why is rupert murdoch letting beck do what his doing now?” and not one person could come up with a cognizant answer.

I don’t know much about Glenn beck, as I come from Ireland. But one thing I do know is my gut feeling teels me he’s full of crap and not to be trusted! Just like my gut feeling says Ron Paul is a genuine man who wants nothing but the best for the people of USA and the wider world. Glenn Beck = Charlaton Ron Paul = Saviour.
