Mexican troops cross U.S. border, hold agent

Mexican soldiers briefly held a U.S. Border Patrol agent at gunpoint in a remote stretch of the Arizona desert after they mistakenly strayed north across the border, authorities said on Wednesday.

Tucson sector Border Patrol spokesman Mike Scioli said four Mexican soldiers wearing desert camouflage and carrying weapons confronted the agent early on Sunday morning as he patrolled a border road in the Tohono O’Odham nation southwest of Tucson.

Scioli said the agent repeatedly identified himself in English and Spanish. After four minutes the soldiers lowered their weapons and crossed back in to Mexico on foot.

The stretch of desert is frequently crossed by human and drug smugglers from Mexico, and the border line in the area is not always clearly marked, Scioli said.

A spokesman for the U.S. State Department said the incursion had been brought to the attention of the Mexican government, and appeared to be accidental.

“Our understanding is that this encounter stemmed from a momentary misunderstanding as to the exact location of the U.S.-Mexican border,” Gonzalo Gallegos said.

   p.s. their tomatoes are just fine i oerder extra on my triple whooper with beacon and cheese large fries and a diet coke, i’m trying to watch what i eat,,,

   For one, either these drugs should be legalized or our government and the CIA (et al) should sell them to us for a more reasonable price because we have funded their hypocritical “so called” war on drugs for WAY too long, which only keeps the price up so that they can fund their black-ops war on the U.S and the world citizenry and also make billions in profit doing so. It is a subsidy to Big Business (Big-Pharma/Dupont/judicial/prisons/the wood and paper mills/liquor..and of course Drugs,Inc. which are the major governmental (U.S., Canadian, British; etc.)drug smugglers and the banks that launder all of that tax free money. Would your parents suddenly start using these drugs once legalized? your kids couldn’t get them any easier than they can get alcohol now. If we prevented our government from making the huge profits from their world smuggling operations they would have to “openly” tax us for their idiotic Black-Ops programs and their assault on it’s citizenry—this could be done by just legalizing the drugs. Just shoot these illegals AND these troops when they cross our damn border and that shit would come to a screeching halt!! Put some REAL men on the border and quit tying their hands or suing them or sending them to prison for doing the right thing. BANG!!!!!!!

    Don’t get me wrong, I’m not opposed to the wall, but sometimes if we’re really fighting against ourselves on this one. If we simply enforce existing immigration and labor laws, punish employers of these people; end these limitless “free” entitlement programs that are killing the taxpayers and halt federal funding to politicians of absurd “sanctuary cities,” the incentive for them to come over will be nearly removed. The real problem is that our government doesn’t want to stop it, but wants us to believe it’s serving the will of the people.
