Military Personnel Ordered To Comply With Illegal Private Gun Registration
Infantryman based at Fort Campbell leaks shocking directive ordering soldiers to submit information on registration, location of weapons as well as Concealed Carry permits, order was stopped according to base officials

An alarming document sent to us by an Infantryman based out of Fort Campbell Kentucky shows that active duty military personnel are being secretly ordered to submit information to their Chain of Command on how many firearms they own privately, their location, as well of details of any Concealed Carry permits.
Though the order was apparently rescinded, the fact that active duty soldiers are being asked to submit every detail of their private firearm collection is a telltale sign that the second amendment is in dire straights. Furthermore, Alex Jones has personally confirmed that such directives are being issued all over the country.
The directive orders active duty personnel to report details of all privately-owned firearms to their Chain of Command, as well as future firearms purchases.
The memorandum was sent to us by a concerned 11B Infantryman based at Fort Campbell. In his e mail, the man expresses his shock at being ordered to comply with what amounts to a registration of privately-owned firearms.

“I live off post, with my firearms (which I don’t bring on post for any reason). A very frightening thing happened at work yesterday,” he writes. “I was ordered to fill out a list containing my firearm information. This included make, model, caliber, and serial number of all firearms I currently posses. In addition, I was also required to list registration information, location of all weapons individually, and information regarding any CCW permits I posses.”
The man tried to ascertain why such information was being demanded by speaking to his First Sergeant but was told, “Just put your info on the form.”
“I don’t know how high this goes, but I am hearing that this is going on in other units at Fort Campbell as well,” writes the Infantryman. “It just seems a little coincidental to me that within 90 days: the most anti-firearm President in history is inaugurated, some of the nastiest anti-firearm laws are put on the table in Washington, and then the Army comes around wanting what amounts to a registration on all firearms, even if they are off post, and doesn’t provide any reason or purpose as to why.”
The man said he had been at Fort Campbell for almost 8 years and had never encountered anything like this directive before.
“I fear something really nasty is blowing in the wind here,” he warns.

According to a World Net Daily article, the order was stopped when it was discovered the commander was not “acting within his authority.”
However, Alex Jones has personally confirmed that bases all over the nation, including in Texas, are directing active duty personnel to provide the same information about their private gun collections.
The story emphasizes how gargantuan threats to the second amendment are not being reported by the mainstream media nor by big gun groups like the NRA.
A similarly grave threat to the second amendment is the so-called ‘No Fly, No Buy Act’, (H.R. 2401), a bill that will merge the TSA’s no-fly list with the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS), a point-of-sale system for determining eligibility to purchase a firearm in the United States, Guam, and Puerto Rico.
Since the Department of Homeland Security now considers veterans, advocates of the Second Amendment, and states’ rights activists as terrorists, the ‘No Fly, No Buy’ act would effectively disarm the majority of the entire country.
The language of H.R. 2401 reads as follows: “To increase public safety and reduce the threat to domestic security by including persons who may be prevented from boarding an aircraft in the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, and for other purposes,” according to the Open Congress website. Govtrack.us reports that the bill was referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary.

They know we know and they got to do one of two things. go to full deployment or shut it down and ride out the storm till were nice and fat and asleep. The latter would be our undoing. we can not fall asleep EVER again. This just goes to prove we got the best dam nation in the world. If we didn’t why would they want it. We need to make some citizen tribunals and start the process of indicting these asses. And prosecuting them under our rights given by the Constitution. This does not surprise me at all…… I can think back to my four years In The USMC and remember how they would turn a mole hill into a mountain……To many of us vets coming back with problems and its everywhere in the media. ….So of course they will spazz out and want to know where ur guns are….they also inspected my car every weekend before i would drive anywhere…….if u want to live ur life free then get out of the military buddy. I did my 4 years and got out like 80 percent of Marines do. Had forgotten about those stupid fucking car searches! Of couse, in the army when we carried live ammo on training missions for about two years in panama, we had to count and account for every fucking round! I actually had in my own house (married at the time to a real bitch) every fucking round we carried, plus various training explosives. also many soldiers who lived in the barracks had their personal firearms in my cabinet as well. When we were over in our count, we kept the rounds for when we went short. All with full knowldege of captain and allo in company. Crazy fucking bullshit.

It’s happening on Fort Lee VA as well; The 49th Quartermaster Group under the 101st is collecting data on soldiers who own firearms and is ordering soldiers to store them in the company level arms room, and in order to retrieve them, the entire chain of command up to the Brigade level has to be informed and approve of reason and use of the weapon being drawn.
AND (if the COL assents to it being drawn for personal use) it has to be back in the arms room by c.o.b. that day or else threatened with UCMJ action (assuming the unit armorer returns your phone calls to show up at work and retake possession of your firearm on his day off)…
Our Brigade Commander says it’s part of an effort to curb violence and to stem suicide rates, but personally I’m not buying it.

This reminds me a lot of what the Nazi’s did… gun confiscations, saying, we will hold your guns here safely for you…it’s for your safety. This way, if a rebellion does happen, the military men with real training, will be weaponless or brought in under threat of treason, until the rebellion has been killed out by foreign troops.

While I don’t disagree with Alex’s theory about why this is being done, I have another theory about it, though both could be correct at the same time….
What if the purpose for this is to condition present and future soldiers to have the mindset of “If I have to do it, civilians should have to do it too!” when the public is ordered to do the same thing or face forced confiscation?

CAMPBELL ? At what command level was this directed or ordered? if an over zealous new C.O. (usally a captin)(Commanding officer) did it not to threating at this stage. if this is above a brigade (full brid col)than this need to be contested up the chain of command. if division level (2 star general) than i would bet this is miltry policy coming down. how about a reporter investigate. i do not watson in G.B. to comment. use your press passes and pass on good intel.

The 101 is pretty much a joke. I was actually in that unit during the last year of my service. Though, when I got out it was on the early out program which they actively fought. So, I invented all the discharge paperwork, called IG on the battalion commnander (and yes, he knew it was me) and the entire post lost about 60% of their manpower, making them combat ineffective. As if they were effective to start with. The only units I’ve ever seen worse than the 101 was the marines anyway.

Unfortunately, the leadership is still the same. Also, from my friends in SF, the troops are still as unwilling to train and be professional as when we were in. by chance i did! went in reserves and later guard. 2 national defense. i agree my last duty was reactivated for 9-11. i had senior NCOs telling me how happy they were i was there to train the troops as this was a “REAL MISSION” . my 19 year old butter bar living with his parents had NONE, NEVER, NO field duty AT ALL. you are on target ,most lack the determantion to suceed. the one that do…usally relize the sham. my conclusion. there are men in the infantry and there are infantrymen.

That’s so hilarious on your discharge. You wouldn’t believe all the hoops I invented in order to make that happen for all of us. Our battallion commander kept the papers on his desk for weeks waiting for the early out to expire, so I warned him that I would call IG on him if he didn’t process the paperwork. Called IG and he chewed the volonel out for two hours! loved it. When first started, the remfs told me that they did not know what sort of paperwork was needed, so I went back to the company and put together a generic package plus a few extra pieces to throw them off the scent and told them this was the official early out paperwork. Naturally, they were too lazy to investigate so that was the paperwork you used. You owe me a beer when/if we ever meet! lol I agree with your conclusion as well. Peace, Jim

If you are in the military you are owned so why would one think they could not do this? If you live on base you have to turn over your guns to the armory for storage. And yes mrhanke01 I am sure they will give discharges, courts martial or article 15s for refusing to do antything they tell you. They basically can and do do just about whatever they want.

When I was still in I kept all my guns back home but I brought one of my crossbows with me on to the base. Yes, the base policy specifically states that all FIREARMS be stored in the armory. A crossbow is not a firearm but just as lethal. It’s a gray area and they didn’t know what to think of my crossbow. Since the policy said FIREARMS and not WEAPONS they couldn’t hold me against it.

Seriously, if the US Military can take down all of Panama in three weeks, smoke the third largest standing army (Iraq) in 100 hours, and dominate Afghanistan in 10 months where the Soviets couldn’t do didly on 10 years…I don’t care if you have the hotest AR-15 with every gizmo on earth…you are done. Sorry, it took longer than 3 weeks. I was there from mar 87 to nov 90 in the 1/508th abn light infantry unit. From june 87 on, there was a lot of training, in which we had our co’s come in from 3/7th sf and also many of our nco/s as well. a lot of training, a lot of economic hardship imposed upon the people. never studied why we did it, too close to home. did get to hold crosshairs on noriega during the coup though. we were supposed to back the guy doing the coup, but we didn’t hold our end of hte bargain. big surprise. personally, i think it had more to do with bush’s drug smuggling operation than anything else.

we also spent many months rebuilding the relationships with the panamanian people (great people by the way, much better than most americans) as many of the units acted in such an unprofessional manner. also, afterwards we lived in a state of curfew by virtue of executive order in which we weren’t allowed downtown after dark, for a while couldn’t drink, curfews all over the place, pussy ass panama canal commission people insisted that everybody and their daughter guard them, many more things went on than you could imagine. a lot of my friends were also in the panamanian army, and they were as much a victim of bush’s dad as our 9/11 victims are a victim of dubya. all the bushes should be shot for treason.

Well personally being prior service and having taken an oath to protect this country from all enemies foriegn and domestic I’m guessing that alot of soldier will take their oath as seriously as I and will stand by us. Even if they didn’t with 60 or 70 million armed civilians they wold have a hell of a time trying to disarm the American people alot of them with military training…someone who has pride is alot more powerful than someone merely doing their job.

These guys are well trained in firearms. They don’t need additional training for their privately owned weapons for accidental discharges!

uh, you would be surprised at how badly trained us troops are in firearms. and many other areas as well. my actual shooting skills deteriorated in the service as you shoot a lot less in the military than in civilian world. At least I did. When I went in, I could snap shoot 3 rounds in a quarter at 25 meters and hit (quickshoot at less than 10s for 10 rounds) from a standing offhand with an m16 7 out of 10 shots at 1000meters. By the time I got out, I had really deteriorated with my shooting skills. I don’t shoot anymore to speak of, though I am confident that I could still pop reconfairy or president christian in the eye at 300 meters.

Oh yeah, and we couldn’t train the jarheads in panama. they were all too scared to go over fifty feet into the jungle. I could go on for hours about how pathetic they all were, but it gets really old. Let’s not mention how they refused to go in the jungle in grenada either. I don’t hae any respect for jarhead training, because I’ve never seen any evidence of it. This has also been confirmed by childhood friends who didn’t realize the usmc was mostly a drinking club and were sorely disappointed when they enlisted into it. Also, as an interesting aside, it sure was hilarious tracking down the recon element who were too fucking stupid to even put up a rear security element despite the complete highway of a trail they broke running away from us. The marines have done nothing but disgrace themselves in all instances that we attempted to honestly offer them training. Of course, after they demonstrated a complete lack of will to honestly take advantage of our considerable knowledge, we basically made their lives a virtual hell. It was so much fun taking our revenge on such slackjawed pieces of shit. This is not just one episode. This is a compilation of many instances of trying to train fucking dumbass jarheads.,

I guess, but yesterday, I got a little booklet in the mail that shows the laws Hitler got passed about guns when he took over. You’ve probably heard that Hitler took away all of the guns from the Germans? No he didn’t. After he was in power awhile, he actually loosened the gun laws that the previous liberal government had put in place. Hitler was loved by the Germans, and used to ride around standing up in an open car. Because the liberals and Communists had wrecked the country when he was elected to his dictatorship, he crushed them and almost eliminated them completely. When the allies took over, they disarmed the German population, and in eastern Germany, the Communists would just take you out and shoot you if they caught you with even one cartridge. But once again, Hitler didn’t do it.

The little pamphlet didn’t say that specifically. It did have the photocopies of the law and the English translation. The introduction did say that the Third Reich tried to close out the Jews from employment and from the government. For all practical purposes, the Jews had declared war on Germany from the inside and were running Communism and they were supposed to go to Israel anyway. You had to be known as someone who wasn’t out to get the government to get a permit, and also you couldn’t be crazy or feebleminded. So perhaps what you say is true. I got the book from the National Alliance, and from my experience with them, they are historically accurate. If they want to criticize the Jews, they just do it.
The laws outlawed long guns with flashlights on them, hollow point 22s and silencers, but the revisions opened up the requirements for permits. These things were considered not sporting, that’s why they were outlawed. The minimum age was dropped from 20 to 18.
Don’t get me wrong, there were permits required for everything. The laws were much more restrictive than the ones in the US even though they were relaxed.
When the Allies disarmed the people, they were surprised how many guns the Germans had.

It says that they must repor tthe registration number of all privately owned firearms…
What exactly is a registration number? I own multiple firearms and I have no idea. We aren’t required to register firearms in this country… at least not yet.
So what are they referring to? Are they simply referring to the serial number or are they inferring something else?

The order is NOT illegal you moron. Because of the nature of military service many of the priveleges of protection afforded to civilians by the Constitution DO NOT apply to military members. The military can ban members from owning guns and it would be legal.

not exactly, a unit commander can do a health and warefare inspection (of a off post housing) and determine the soldier is at risk (he can make up the reasons) the commanding officer has authroity to do this (rarely happens unless domestic violence is confrimed or storgly suspected). also in california a soldier who has been charged with domestic violence can not be issussed a individual weapon it must be a crew served weapon. although the order may be overriden after an investigation or by a higher command. ..the soldier will follow that order or face additinol charges as well as be detained by MPs). the commander is resposible for his soldiers on and off post as well on and off duty. .this should have been a survey and if needed classes given. hence ..risk management..this was impleted incorrectly. the CO overstepped his authority by requiring serial numbers. if a soldier brings his car on post the commander can order him to surrender his keys untill the deficencies are fixed.

By the time I got out, I had developed a complete and total lack of respect for the 101. In fact, I felt an incredible desire to machine gun the MPs at ht egate every morning when I came in to work. The first sargeant (I knew about his consistent habit of putting the sixty crews around his platoon position when he was platoon sargeant in both just because, and desert storm and so he really hated me. he also left with all of the nco funds that he had held. I never donated because I knew what a piece of shit he was) had made my trailer off post off limits. Something about wild parties and wilder women. So what if the rumours were true? And not to be rude, but not too many rounds are really needed. All that crap that people do in the movies with suppressive fire wasting all the rounds, and just shooting without aiming, those are jarhead things. Aim quickly, but aim to kill with every shot. That will cut down the amount of ammo needed by hitting your target more often. One shot, one kill isn’t a likely scenario in regular combat, but one out of ten or twenty is possible if you keep a cool head. Especially the type of combat that we would see over here in the streets.

what’s really funny to me, is the unit i was in at that shithole in ft. campbell was the 2nd of the 187th. this memo from the third. 187th hasn’t been airborne since they were in panama and that unit then became the 1/508th. i was there when the change went. never made a difference, but the 101 doesn’t deserve to wear the airborne patch. they sucked then, and from my friends in sf, they still suck.

I agree that they want our guns, but this particular document may be fake. I showed it to a retired Army officer who immediately noticed a few problems:
1. Addressing the unit using the nickname “choppin soldiers” is much too informal and would not be used in such a Command letter.
2. The heading “MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD” is not used as the heading for a Command letter. It is used as the heading for memos intended to “set the record straight” for the files.
3. The Command line and signature are missing. Perhaps the bottom of the document was cut off.

Two items are to be considered direct precursors to war. The first (not necessarily in this order) is th internet going down. The second is coming for our firearms. Actually, I think armed revolt will happen before then as there will no doubt be some type of uprising either due to disease scare, or economic situation being bad enough for people to riot in the streets. They did this in the thirties and one of hte reasons we had hte social security programs start up was the fear of communism replacing capitalism. many had begun to believe capitalism had failed. Why does this document keep resurfacing? This is at least the second time it has been featured on this site, they must be trying to get a reaction out of the people because there is no reason that any company commander would push this unless there was some event that took place within the company.
Years ago there was one guy in the barracks that shot his squad leader in the back with an arrow and they just cross leveled all the soldiers in the platoon to other units on the division and that was that.
So this is hard to believe that they would have the justification for this unless there were extraordinary conditions.

This should be a big, red warning sign to veteran, but it’s not for alot of them. I belive strongly in gun confiscation, when they come for yours confiscate theirs, some 409 spray will clean the blood and guts off no problem they have nice gear. In WW2 the U.S. military air dropped stamped steel guns by the tens of thousands so the under ground could use it to get a german weapon, it was a 45 single shot. The instructions were simple point at back of head pull trigger, get weapon.

I was stationed at Fort Campbell back in 1990-1993. I had to register my Privately Owned Weapons at the Provost Marshall to be able to bring them on-post. As I recall, Fort Campbell has an adequate shooting range, which was the reason for me bringing them on-post. I see no wrong in the command of Fort Campbell requiring all weapons coming in and out Fort Campbell to be known. However, if I was soldier living off-post, I would consider it none of the military’s business as to what weapons I may possess.
I was also stationed at Fort Carson, CO from 1994-1998. The regulations concerning Privately Owned Weapons back then was such: that if you were an E-4 or below, regardless if you lived off-post or not, you had to store your Privately Owned Weapons in the company Arms Room.

Do you remember the sign at the range? Use the A1 ammo in the A2s? That always struck me as a perfect symbot of the stupidity of that base. The A2s had a higer muzzle velocity, so they put fewer grains in the shells for it. Now, with Ft. Campbell logic (an oxymoron as they had no true logic), they also addressed the issue by insisting that A1 ammo be used only in the A2s as the A2 had a higher muzzle velocity. Basically, their solution to safety standards was to put a higher velocity round in the weapon to decrease the velocity of the rounds in the range. I realize this makes no sense, which is why it was the perfect example of Ft. Campbell thinking. Also, as an aside: Zeroing a weapon only zeroes THAT weapon, yet so many stupid fucks in charge in the army will state that you should remember your zero number (sight adjustment term) so that you could apply it to another weapon if you needed to pick it up. Also: the field manuals for M16s recommended using hot, soapy water to clean the weapon. Army officers would give you an article 15 for doing as the field manual said. And the list goes on, and on, and fucking on.

This truly is a sad day when we can see our rights as Americans slipping slowly away as people cheer and cry because our lord and savior obama is here. I do not know how many of you out there believe in God or even read the bible, but I have a feeling that Revalations is not far off. He has gotten the dumbest and the youngest people to accept him as their deity almost and the youth of today will VOLUNTARILY go up in arms and become the new Obama’s youth. We as a people need to say no and see to it that these people with their deceptiveness are not elected and we most find truthful and righteous people to fill these important seats before the seats themselves are taken away and there will be only one man to govern. I am currently writing a paper on how Obama is very similar to Hitler and many other Men who came to power through deception in my english class, and my teacher actually asked me if I really wanted to go that route with it and not just focus on who Obama is and what he has achieved. The funniest thing about what he said is that I am focusing on who he is, but instead of what he has achieved I am focusing on what he will achieve if we sit back and do nothing. I plan to join the military (Air Force) once I graduate high school in two weeks. I guarantee you that if they try to force me to give them details into my private life whether I own guns or not you will probably see my face on TV as the person being court marshaled for not subjecting to their wills. I believe that we should be allowed to own and carry weapons with no registration, be able to say whatever we want as long as it doesn’t constitute as libel in order to sabotage others. I hope that we are all wrong and that Obama is not what we think he is, because if he is we are in trouble and we must fight to protect our rights.

I agree that they want our guns, but this particular document may be fake. I showed it to a retired Army officer who immediately noticed a few problems:
1. Addressing the unit using the nickname “choppin soldiers” is much too informal and would not be used in such a Command letter.
2. The heading “MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD” is not used as the heading for a Command letter. It is used as the heading for memos intended to “set the record straight” for the files.
3. The Command line and signature are missing. Perhaps the bottom of the document was cut off.

Whoa, calm down everyone. Hey I’m as anti-NWO as the rest of you, and I’ll die before I give up my arms, or the constitiion. However I think this story may have been misunderstood, or taken out of context… I’m a Navy Vet, from the 80’s and 90’s, back then it was the understanding that due to the command structure and rubrics, that we (military personnel) fell under the uniform code of military justice vs. constitutional law like civilians.
True, the UCMJ is based on constitutional law, however in order to whip say 5000 men from all totally different backrounds, cultures, religions and beliefs into ONE unit, certain rights we enjoyed as a civilian had to be limited. My point, back in the 80’s and 90’s in the navy, as a single man living onboard ship, and later in the base barracks, I/we had to first request permission to buy/own a firearm. If permission was granted, we had to register it with the Command, and local armory. In addition it had to be stored/secured in the ship’s or base’s armory, and we had to request it, through the chain of command when we wanted access to it, then have to log it out, and log it back in when we were done.
So this isn’t something new or out of the blue. Sounds like to me they just refined the UCMJ’s position on private firearm ownership. IMHO, don’t focus too much on this, keep alert for whats going on around you.

Actually, I think the case could be made that one of the greatest threats to a free citizenry is a standing army. Look no further than the South/Central American governments we have helped turn into dictatorships. Look at our own government, with Posse Commitatus (sp?) gone by the wayside. Look at what the founding fathers thought of them, with a two year review (on this one, I haven’t independently verified, but read it here somewhere, so it could easily be wrong) on it’s existence. Personally, why do we even need a federal army? Name one war in which we needed it. Just one. National Guard, as sad and pathetic as they are, are still more than adequate for defense, border control, and natural disasters. A strong, central government controlled army has only led to our conducting wars of aggression in the name of empire, and for promoting war profiteering in the name of patriotism. War, what’s it good for? Nothing! uuumpth!

Military officials have NO authority off the gov. plantation. I once had to tell my CO that any military attempt at a search of my private residence off base will be met with DETERMINED armed resistance either by me or the occupants of the residence. Obama is expected to sign the bill. If he’s really that anti-gun, why would he sign this? Someone please explain the conspiracy to me. Not saying the Obama admin. is perfect by any stretch of the imagination. However, I read many of the bills in session or in committee and I’m just not seeing the anti-gun legislation coming in to be considered.
