Missouri Governor Stands Behind MIAC Smear Report
Nixon defends document that equates Ron Paul supporters & people who display bumper stickers with terrorists, says feds will continue to issue similar reports

Missouri Governor Jay Nixon has defended a report issued by the Missouri Information Analysis Center that smears Ron Paul supporters, people who have knowledge of the U.S. Constitution, and people who display political bumper stickers as potential domestic terrorists.
As we revealed in our exclusive report last week, a leaked secret report distributed by the federal Missouri Information Analysis Center lists Ron Paul supporters, libertarians, people who display bumper stickers, people who own gold, or even people who fly a U.S. flag and equates them with radical race hate groups and terrorists.
The MIAC report specifically describes supporters of presidential candidates Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, and Bob Barr as “militia” influenced terrorists and instructs the Missouri police to be on the lookout for supporters displaying bumper stickers and other paraphernalia associated with the Constitutional, Campaign for Liberty, and Libertarian parties.
The MIAC report does not concentrate on Muslim terrorists, but rather on the so-called “militia movement” and conflates it with supporters of Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, Bob Barr, the so-called patriot movement and other political activist organizations opposed to the North American Union and the New World Order.

Police are educated in the document that people are are anti-abortion, own gold, display an assortment of U.S. flags, or even those that talk about the film Zeitgeist, view the police as their “enemy” and conflates them with domestic terrorists like Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh, Olympic bomber Eric Rudolph and other domestic militia groups who have been charged with plotting terrorist attacks.
Governor Nixon defended the report yesterday, stating, “Getting information, especially public information, out of our fusion center out to local law enforcement agencies is we do every day and we’re going to continue to do,” said Nixon. “Any way they take that information and can analyze what the threat levels are is important to make sure the public stays safe.”
Both Governor Nixon and the Missouri Information Analysis Center may have acted foolishly in refusing to denounce the report for what it is – a completely inaccurate smear which if anything makes America less safe from terrorists because it identifies as terrorists some of the most patriotic groups one can imagine.
The fact that the document clearly constitutes libel and defamation has not gone unnoticed by Chuck Baldwin, Ron Paul and Bob Barr, who have agreed to pursue legal action if the report is not withdrawn.
The three former presidential candidates have sent a letter to Missouri officials protesting the MIAC report. Appearing on The Alex Jones Show yesterday, Baldwin said that he and his fellow letter signatories will consider legal action if the letter does not result in a repudiation of the MIAC report and its absurd allegations.

I agree with “Missourians being VERY independent and outspoken people.” Great people, friendly and in the know about what’s going on (at least more than most States do). This probably explains why the a. d. l., through the MIAC document, targeted Missouri. It’s probably also why 90% the the Police Officers, at least in the Anonymous Cop’s realm, think the MIAC “document” stinks to high heaven. I wish I could shake his hand. I’m praying for his safety every day.

FREEDOM is not limited. I think terrorists should be a little more well difined than just to say “they may have bumper stickers” or “have knowledge about the constitution”. Thus far everyone I know thats actually read the report can CLEARLY see its both unconstitutional and treasonous. Treason is STILL a hanging offense in America. That report taught me some things about myself that I never knew. I’m thinking that maybe I should turn myself in, walk right down to the police station with my Ron Paul yard sign and confess that I sent him 50 bucks and know what the Constitution is.

there seems to be many differences of opinion here. Right at the start of this message board ME puts the cat amongst the pigeons by playing devils advcate – He says. The real point is this: the rights and wrongs of this matter don’t count. All that counts is results – and they’re getting them. Police and law inforcement are being put on alert in order to hieghten the perception of this state of emergency which doesn’t really exist except when the government decide to attack the people. Meanwhile people like us are debating what may or may not constiute a true patriot. Get ready for the next false flsg opp. The men and women in law inforcement are intelligent people too – Ok not all of them – but by and large they mean well and are as patriotic as anyone else – Don’t right them off. When the shit hits the fan don’t be surprised if at least half of them end up on our side.

We need a Ron Paul sticker B-mb. Go out and purchase a 20 stack of stickers and display them prominently in public places anywhere u can stick one. Just keep having these stickers popping up all the time will be a interesting “message force multiplier.” Alternately, someone should make a new Ron Paul sticker that states the truth of this issue. “Ron Paul is NOT a Terrorist.”

Take away from anyone the right to live honestly and in peace and you will create a criminal. They are baiting us, seeing if we jump all over this. Ultimately, though, the last thing they want is for this to come to anything. They hope maybe if they intimidate us now, we won’t challenge them later. Expect a great deal of under-reported “incidents” of discrimination based on political bent and knowledge of one’s rights in the near future. Sadly, every time they crack down, they will prove our point all the better, that we wished to live in peace and they wished to destroy anyone who challenges the personal peace created by their own self-deceptions. They can’t all be “useful idiots,” meaning that at least some of them are intelligent people prone to self-delusion for personal gain. In the end, the reason they haven’t fully cracked down is that the propaganda machine’s ugly heart has been revealed for all to see. The mindless, thoughtless hatred they have for everyone who doesn’t accept the raping and pillaging going on will be in the end their downfall. Remember, an army led by an evil man can only continue to lead good people so long as he can keep his mask on. The media hasn’t been fully blacked out, people continue to report the news as they see it (and not the way the AP has “approved”), and a crackdown will be met with ultimate collapse. Remember, always and forever, that their station and very lives are merely at our behest. Our poor enforce their “law” overseas, our poor work the dead-end jobs that prop up our bankrupt economy, our poor pay taxes, while the rich find innumerable ways to avoid fighting at war, working any job at all, or paying any taxes on their trust-fund “income”. Despite the disdain they hold for us, they need us to prop up their own corrupt, useless positions. What they’re afraid of is that we’re realizing we don’t need them.

Scary! I’ll admit it, I’m 100% guilty! My friend’s father was #2 man in the FBI 30 yrs ago. He told my friend that our gov’t is not what it purports to be. During his punch and cookies retirement party on his last day he went to the roof and hauled down the American flag and hauled it back up up side down. This is terrible. It really makes me sad and frustrated. everyone just keep spreading the word about what the Fed Reserve does and talk to people about encroachments on the second amendment. There are a lot of people out there willing to learn about this and are fed up with mainstream media but give them the true info bit by bit. very disconcerting. this amounts to denouncing 3rd parties w/out any factual information; undermining freedom of the people w/in a democracy and leading to chaos. you should ask yourself how the people who have written this document have arrived at their conclusion. they have left out any evidence at all detailing the orgin of their argument. this is a weak argument and since it has no revealed fact basis this amounts to accepting what they say at face vaule. I know the MSHP is a smarter entity than to just believe whatever Nixon says.
and i strongly doubt the MIAC is little more than a puppet organization for proaganda, a disinformation organization if you will. unfortunately, the people of the state of missouri are getting hit pretty hard by propaganda.
