More “Global Warming Is Killing Polar Bears” Propaganda
One of the graphics that accompanies this article on the Reuters website is of a cute polar bear with the words, “Help Fight Global Warming” printed next to it. On that page is an image of a polar bear “stranded” on an iceberg.
We are rather pathetically forced to remind people once again that polar bears can swim hundreds of miles and that their numbers are if anything increasing.
We also learn from Dr Mitchell Taylor, who has been researching the status and management of polar bears in Canada and around the Arctic Circle for 30 years, that “Polar bear numbers, far from decreasing, are much higher than they were 30 years ago. Of the 19 different bear populations, almost all are increasing or at optimum levels, only two have for local reasons modestly declined.”
However, few other people will get to hear about Taylor’s work because he has been banned from involvement at the upcoming Copenhagen “climate change” conference, because his conclusions don’t fit with the pre-determined mantra that “global warming” is killing polar bears.

LONDON (Reuters) – The quest for unlimited economic growth is unsustainable and could bankrupt the environment through climate change and depleted natural resources, Britain’s Prince Charles said on Wednesday.
Charles, next-in-line to succeed Queen Elizabeth, said a new economic model must be found because the Earth can no longer support the demands of a growing “consumerist society” where growth is an end in itself.

“Just as our banking sector is struggling with its debts… so Nature’s life-support systems are failing to cope with the debts we have built up there too,” Charles said at a BBC lecture at St James’s Palace in central London.

I liked the polar bears when they did the Coke commercials, but now they’ve gone off the deep end, no pun intended.
Maybe Al Goreleoni and his fellow mobster theives think the public really wants to pay new taxes. I really cannot fathom their thinking, wreck the economy and think you can raise taxes at the same time? What’s their next magic trick going to be, carbon tax breaks to the rich?

Alex and company… Please quit with the “global warming is bunk” material.. you are destroying your credibility. GW is a reality. What we have to do is find out exactly what is causing it.. and if there is a human factor, then we should address that. If there isn’t, then we have to find ways, within our limited capability, of making the planet as livable as possible for future generations. The denial of GW sounds more politically motivated, than scientific. And I am no fan of Al Gore either.. so lets not even go there.

Please do some research on this, global warming is bogus, why do u think they are calling it climate change now a days? So their agenda can play to both cold and hot weather patterns. The sun is 100% responsible for the earth’s climate. I agree we should be more careful about pollution for our own benefits, but carbon taxing the masses so the rich can get fatter is just another ploy for people to blindly submit their hard earned money in order to save the polar bears.

I disagree. And so do many others. If it is real, then why is all evidence to the contrary being suppressed? After all, if it is real, then the evidence to the contrary would be included to show exactly where we are doing well, and where we are not doing well. But, anything that isn’t pro Al Gore’s money machine is suppressed. That alone should tell you something. So, stop promoting THEIR agenda, and allow us to spread a real truth. There is pollution, but it is petro-chemical. If we were so concerned about the environment, we would have recycling centers everywhere. We would honestly work on a replacement for petrol. Venus is over twice the distance from the Sun than Murcury is and yet the Surface temperute on Venus is about 460 °C and Murcury is only capable of reaching 420 °C, more over that, Venus only receives 25% Irradiation (heat radiation) that Murcury does .. All thanks to Venus atmosphere, this is well known science and have been for ages.

Ignoring these 18,000 years of data “global warming activists” contend recent increases in atmospheric CO2 are unnatural and are the result of only 200 years or so of human pollution causing a runaway greenhouse effect.
Incidentally, earth’s temperature and CO2 levels today have reached levels similar to a previous interglacial cycle of 120,000 – 140,000 years ago. From beginning to end this cycle lasted about 20,000 years. This is known as the Eemian Interglacial Period and the earth returned to a full-fledged ice age immediately afterward.

CO2 is NECESSARY to support life on the planet – trees need it, algae needs it, plants need it and we need them for O2, so we need CO2.
Also the planet isn’t even warming, and when it does, it is because of the SUN, not because our cows are farting or we are driving cars or making electricity from coal.

According to the logic you use to reason with your wikipedia education, even water would be considered extremely toxic to people. The link you provided talks about a state of TOO MUCH CO2 in the blood, and also has a link to another article about too little CO2 in the blood. It must be noted though, that too much water in the blood can also be hazardous to your health. Now that we have established the toxicity of water, we can move on to how water vapor is the largest contributor to the green house effect of any gas. So, where is the call for water taxes? Lets be reasonable, looking at all the FACTS and making decisions and taking actions that are commensurate with a problem. First though, we must define the problem, and take FACTS into consideration when we do so.

I love Polar Bears. Human impact on climate is definitely real… I learned the science behind it in Biology. I think the world needs to just stop everything for like 3 days and sit down and really figure this out. It is my deepest belief that everybody wants good things for this planet and our future generations. I feel like the whole idea of carbon taxing vs. not carbon taxing is ridiculous. How many years do we have temperature data for? Do we have an accurate history of global events and temperatures since the earth came into being? If we do not have context, current data sets mean very little, if anything. Even so, the current data shows a global temperature difference of less than 2 degrees over 100 years. There is greater difference in climate due to the seasons, over a period of several months. Sunspots have been associated with a change in climate.
Denial does not change the facts, but all of the facts are not known, and those that are known are being manipulated or withheld from the mainstream. The truth cannot be known until all politics/special interests are set aside and a reasonably sized data set can be secured which consists of more than just a blink of the eye of time.
Whether it is real or not has yet to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

OK shills. CO2 in the atmosphere is at around it’s lowest level for 10,000 yrs. It makes up about 4% of the so-called ‘greenhouse gases’, it has been as high as 15%. When CO2 increases it causes a decrease in the most abundant of greenhouse gases, namely water vapour, or steam. Net result, no change in global temperature.
The optimum level of CO2 for plants to grow is around 1100ppm, the current proportion of CO2 in our environment is around 350ppm. So the flora of this planet would actually benefit from a higher level of CO2, though that is purely academic as their is no increase in CO2 occurring.
The globe warms up and cools down as a direct result of solar flares, nothing else, it has been happening for millions of years. Cities and airports are affected by exhaust gases, sure, but this is not melting the ice caps. It only gives a false perception of global warming to people living in urban areas.
If you really want to do something for the environment, concentrate on preventing oil spills, outlaw deforestation, properly punish toxic dumping by the pharma and chemical corporations.
The carbon tax is BS and you are being conned. Now go and spread your disinfo someplace else because we ain’t buying it.

It’s bad if contradicting info can’t get into the public debate, like 9/11. But in this case you need more than this.
Dr Mitchell Taylor is an expert on Polar Bears not on climate, right? I’m not an expert neither, far from it compared to what I’ve learned about 9/11, but from what I’ve tried to read and understand I have no doubt that GW is real. I suspect the real conspiracy is behind this kind of information (oil companies??).
In any case just leave it, for the time being and focus on 9/11. Please. We need to move away from oil anyway. Who cares if the sun will make the globe cooler. Keep it up.

Paulb, if you are truly serious about researching and validating your information as you say, you need to broaden your research on global warming.
You must go for information that have been estabilished before the current hysteria took place. There are dozens of sites that will give you that kind of information on the phenomena of Global Warming – why does it happen, the earths natural temperature cycles, and the expected changes in temperature we are experience.
The rise in temperature we are experiencing is a cause of the end of the “Little Ice Age”, and it will probably continue to rise some more before it starts to sink again. This is well known climatology.
9/11 is the more obvious hoax because of the incredibly amount of evidence found. It was a singular event. Global Warming is a much more tought trough and subtle hoax because it relies basically on scientific explanations that the common man is unable to promptly doubt, and validating Global Warming statements is a much harder job then with an event like 9/11.

There is a very simple and known graph that depicts the cyclical change in the earth’s climate troughout all cycles known as ages.
This is common, established climatology knowledge, not some home made, spun out of context theory.

If you haven’t already woken up that global warming is nothing more than pseudo science being promulgated by only a few including shit for brains Al Gore than you are nothing more than the same.
They could get rid of millions of tonnes of pollution each year from the atmosphere simply by replacing oil as fuel with clean technologies that have existed for over 120 years. The problem is they are making a killing from the sale of oil, and contrary to what they are saying ( that it is running out ) it is total bullshit as they have over a trillion barrels of oil without new discoveries included. It is only done to manipulate the price ( which should be about 90 cents a litre here in Australia but is currently trading around the $1.30 mark ).
I wish they would run out of oil tomorrow then we would have alternate energy, but you see they can’t make money from cheap natural resources like water, geothermal heat cold fusion and so on. Then again I might be wrong they are making a killing from selling bottled water to people.

GW is NOT a reality! Look at the temps for the past 10 years. They are cooling off! Not getting warmer. If GW is not man-made and is some NATURAL force, how in the world do you think we can alter it?
Look at it this way… 60M years ago, the planet was warm, then became COLD; hence the ICE AGE, warmed back up, all WITHOUT us even being on the planet. 120K years ago, temps on the planet were 9 degrees warmer than they are today. How do we know this? Ice cores from Greenland. How is that significant? 9 degrees warmer and the ice sheets of Greenland don’t melt. If Al’s predictions were correct, even a 1 degree rise in temps would melt the ice fields of not only Greenland, but the north and south poles as well.
Seven hundred years ago, the planet went into the “Little Ice Age.” The planet came out of this ice age BEFORE the industrial revolution that brought about the use of fossil fuels.
35 years ago, the government said that if we didn’t remove the lead from gasoline, we would enter another ICE AGE.
What this should tell you is that government officials know nothing about anything, but because they are elected, that somehow gives them credibility. So put down the remote and go enjoy the outdoors.
Besides… with a warmer planet, the growing seasons will be longer and we’ll be able to feed more people.
…And burning wood for heat puts 10 times the hydrocarbons in the atmosphere than does fossil fuels. Go figure.

It’s finally time to say it … If you believe in Global Warming caused by man you are just plain stupid.
As those that take the time to even investigate with a few hours of research will be embarrassed with how easy they were sold a bag of crap and then they passed it out to all their friends.
Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) is a theory (hypothesis). It is an unproven theory. What you do with theories is put them to the test with scientific observations. Let’s see what data points we now have:
1) Average annual temperatures have not surpassed 1998 (NOAA)
(University of Alabama)
2) Average annual temperatures are now trending downward since 1998
(NOAA) (University of Alabama)
3) Ocean temperatures have not risen since 2000 when the 3000 Argo buoys
were launched. The buoys even show a slight decrease in ocean temperatures
4) The Arctic ice froze to February levels by December 07, there are 1mm
more sq km than before (previous was 13mm sq km)
5) The Arctic ice is 20cm thicker than “normal” (whatever that is)
6) All polar bear pods are stable or growing (NOAA/PBS)
7) Mount Kilimanjaro is not melting because of global warming, rather
The Antarctic is not “melting”, it is growing in most places, the
“sublimation”
sloughing off at the edges is normal as the ice mass grows
9) The majority of the Antarctic is 8 degrees below “normal” (again,
whatever that is)
10) The coveted .7 degree rise in temperatures over the last 100 years
has been wiped out with last years below “normal” temperatures (NOAA
coolest winter since 2001)
11) Al Gore’s film was just deemed “propaganda” in a court of law in the
UK as many points could not be substantiated by scientists
12) It was also just reveled that some of the footage in Als film was
CGI. The ice shelf collapse was from the movie The Day After Tomorrow (ABC)
13) One of the scientists that originally thought that CO2 preceded the
warming has now found with new data that the CO2 rise follows the
warming (Dr David Evans)
14) August 2008 was the first time since 1913 there were no sun spots.
15) The Medieval Warm Period was warmer than the 20th century (no SUVs)
16) Many scientists are now predicting 30 years of cooling.
17) The greenhouse effect is real, our small contribution to it cannot
even be measured
18) Several publications, including those that are warmist have recently
written that the natural cycles of the earth may mask AGW. Give me a break.

Can you give any solid reasoning as to why AGW is real?

In the past it may have been in the eighties, but now it is at 55 degrees. So that is now the “Normal” temperature. In fact whatever the temperature now is, that is the “Norm”.

Ok…we’ll end this right here. For you clowns who still believe man is responsible for the warming of the planet…explain this. Question 1) Science proved Mars and Jupiters ice caps were melting along with ours. What caused this? SUV’s? Man? Co2 emmissions? 2) From 1945>1975 after WW2 and industry boomed, Co2 went up, but the temperature dropped SO much scientists were saying “We are all going to die from the coming ice age.” Explain why the temperature went DOWN while Co2 went up for almost 30 years. 3) Explain why it was warmer in medieval times than it is now. Was that caused by SUV’s, Man? Co2? Come on, let’s hear your answers. Remember, leading “green” advovcate David De Rothschild said the reason Mars and Jupiters ice caps were melting was due to the fact, “Those 2 planets are cloer to the Sun than Earth!!!!” So you can’t use that answer….lol….. And maybe you want to look at the Club of Rome…. they SPECIFICALLY said they were going to use the FALSE threat of global warming as an excuse to push eugenics, and push their one world government ideals. Still not convinced even though you can’t answer my questions? Great. I thought the only so called people that believe in man made climate change were the fools in the main stream media or the Left wing extremist criminals who now control the US, the UN, the UK and many other extremist Left wing Governments around the world but there are also sheeple amongst us who lack the simple logic and common sense that tells you it is a massive scam. We could award the Global Warming histeria as best hoax of the decade.

So many unfounded, unscientific claims all around. the first law of thermodynamics states that mass and energy are conserved. That means all of the oil and co2 molecules above and below the ground were always here to begin with. The oil is the result of decaying life that was part of the ecosystem thousands and millions of years ago and the co2 was sucked out of the atmosphere by those plants and animals that are now oil. So the Co2 has always and will always be here no matter what anyone wants to do about it. There is more CO2 given off from oceanic sources than man could ever hope to produce in millions of centuries, because we would run out of oil anyways and then the co2 would be absorbed back into the oceans and plants. If we drop the co2 in half by stupidity, the plants all die. co2 is a trace gas, 300+ part per million, not even 1%! if we pump out and burn all of the oil and double that again we could only get maybe up to 2% of the atmosphere to be co2. co2 is a gas that has no energy , it gives off no heat, it does not get excited by sunlight and change its atomic structure, it has no property to drive the climate in any fashion as it is completely inert!
The natural cycle of the sun determines the temperature. Venus is 67million miles from the sun, does not have an iron core to produce a magnetic field, pretty much does not even rotate on its axis! how hot do you think earth would be if it did not have a magnetic field and did not rotate? All life on earth would die in a day if the planet stopped rotating or we lost the magnetic field. you would die on mars from the suns radiation, even though it is 155 million miles from the sun. earth is 93 million miles from the sun. the reason we are not hotter is due to the magnetic field and the chemical makeup of the atmosphere. in fact this radiation is the reason that we are not sending anyone to mars, because it would take years of space travel and they would die from radiation poisoning. Basically earth is in such a perfect balance on so many variables, to think that we could affect any of these is audatous stupidity. Yes, stop spewing out waste and hurting the environment, but you wont save anything by taxing everyone more and telling lies about the climate change, it is completely natural and cannot be affected by anything man does, even if we tried to change it we would fail miserably. It is the usual government divide and conquer to take more from us and make us their slaves. the only way we can save ourselves is if we come together as AMERICANS first and march in the streets and get out the guillotines and roll some heads and take back our country from the criminal political and business class. we need to come together to beat them, they know this and will keep throwing stupid stuff up to keep us fooled and divide us.

I believe a majority of what AJ says. I am a voracious reader, have fact-checked much of what he says and find it to be true. I have an associates degree in liberal-arts but realised that college is a bunch of lies and BS. Now before you laugh and crucify me for “liberal arts” let me say this: it forced me to learn about a wide variety of topics such as psychology, sociology, political science, history, and government. I claim not to be a scholar in any of these subjects but it gave me a foundation on which to understand much of what Alex says. Because of that I can see the plausability of what the elites are doing. But there is one thing I am completely and utterly convinced of as I have seen it with my own two eyes… and that is this… POLAR BEARS CAN INDEED SWIM AND ARE EXCELLENT AT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! About 15 years ago my girlfriend at the time and I went to the Toronto zoo. We spent about an hour at the polar bear exhibit where they were swimming in their half land half water habitat. They were quite entertaining as they would wrestle each other in the water tank and dive down to the bottom where they would press up against the tank to get close to the people watching. Global warming is a hoax people!!!! I only wish I had video so I could post it here. Damn!!

Eastern Antartica has a HUGE seabed Volcano underneath,
and this is what is causing the ice to melt locally. However in
Western Antarica, the INCREASE in ice volume, more than
compenstaes for any of this melting. The TOTAL Antarctic
ice volume is actually increasing to new records EVERY day.
The net effect is that a small decrease in sea level is expected.
The climate changes, there are other factors, we are not in
control of the Planet, it isn’t your “living room”, and it does
not have a thermostat. Get Used To That. Just live your life.

Over half the U.S. population doesn’t even believe in evolution…you think you’re going to get people to understand that something that the “plants need and algae needs” , is destroying their natural resources, particularly when realizing that fact means that they might have to take some measure of personal responsibility, modify their behavior, or be inconvenienced by actually succumbing to increased fuel efficiencies?
