GW is NOT a reality! Look at the temps for the past 10 years. They are cooling off! Not getting warmer. If GW is not man-made and is some NATURAL force, how in the world do you think we can alter it?

Look at it this way… 60M years ago, the planet was warm, then became COLD; hence the ICE AGE, warmed back up, all WITHOUT us even being on the planet. 120K years ago, temps on the planet were 9 degrees warmer than they are today. How do we know this? Ice cores from Greenland. How is that significant? 9 degrees warmer and the ice sheets of Greenland don’t melt. If Al’s predictions were correct, even a 1 degree rise in temps would melt the ice fields of not only Greenland, but the north and south poles as well.

Seven hundred years ago, the planet went into the “Little Ice Age.” The planet came out of this ice age BEFORE the industrial revolution that brought about the use of fossil fuels.

35 years ago, the government said that if we didn’t remove the lead from gasoline, we would enter another ICE AGE.

What this should tell you is that government officials know nothing about anything, but because they are elected, that somehow gives them credibility. So put down the remote and go enjoy the outdoors.

Besides… with a warmer planet, the growing seasons will be longer and we’ll be able to feed more people.

…And burning wood for heat puts 10 times the hydrocarbons in the atmosphere than does fossil fuels. Go figure.

Al Gore must be banned from drinking beer/wine/spirits, and eating bread/cakes/donuts because they all give off copious amounts of CO2 when manufactured. Maybe then he will just waste away and fall down the nearest drain, and save us all a lot of trouble.

In the past it may have been in the eighties, but now it is at 55 degrees. So that is now the “Normal” temperature. In fact whatever the temperature now is, that is the “Norm”.
The feeble Human “bags of water” have no control over this at all, that is the reality. It is the hubris of the short-lived Human, who has too short a frame of reference in their own lifetime to properly gauge what is really just a natural variation in climate.
