A fresh wave of cyber attacks that slowed U.S. and South Korean websites this week hit more targets Thursday, a Web security firm said, while the South’s spy agency has said the hacking may be linked to North Korea.
The impact of the attacks, aimed so far at dozens of sites including the White House and the South’s presidential office, was seen as negligible, experts said, but served as a reminder that Pyongyang has been planning for cyber warfare.

“The anticipated attack did take place, but considerable countermeasures were taken and it did act as a defence to some degree,” an official at the online security firm Ahnlab said.
Some South Korean government websites, including the Defence Ministry and the National Intelligence Service, were affected. Access to some U.S. government sites, including the State and Defence Department, from South Korea appeared to be disabled.

A sofisticated cyber attack from North Korea… LMAO… they are so limited it’s not funny. There are many countries around the world with state-of-the-art tech that can’t even pull that out… else they make it believe it’s from NK… how gullible are you?

Talking heads on either side of the political circus tent as well as the Recording Industry have been wishing for this same thing
“A Cyber 911″ that would wrest power of the internet from the people, and into the hands of corporations, like every other form of media has become.
This has nothing to do with foreign countries, or attacks, and everything to do with putting a lid on freedom of speech, and people who download music.
Our politicians are professional whores, their lobbyists are the pimps. Until that changes we will never see justice in this country.

Typical NWO bs is to blame it on one of their enemies. Chances are it’s the NWO just setting up justification for censoring/cutting off some parts of the net.

It doesn’t state anywhere if there was a source for the attacks or if it was carried out by a Zombie horde.

Some experts spoke out recently regarding the highly dubious nature of the claims that the attacks where staged by the DPRK.

North Korea attempting to attack the US in this manner would be like a 5 year old mall karate student attacking a 9th or 10th degree black belt in hapkido. A DDOS attack against the government infrastructure would serve to be quite laughable. People also forget google pretty much runs hand in hand with the feds…google itself could easily devastate most countries if it wanted to.
