Morgellons: Terrifying New Disease Reaching Pandemic Status

It sounds like something from a bad sci-fi movie. People report the sensation of creatures crawling under their skin, mysterious moving fibers appear, and finally bugs and worms pop out. Unfortunately, these terrifying symptoms are all too true. The people having them are experiencing Morgellons, the latest and scariest in the series of bizarre diseases appearing in the last few years, seemingly from nowhere. Morgellons is now reaching epidemic proportions in the U.S. and abroad.
Morgellons is a multi-dimensional disease
Morgellons starts with relentless itching, stinging or biting sensations. Cotton-like balls may appear on the body with no reasonable explanation. Soon skin rash develops along with lesions that will not heal. Many sufferers report string-like fibers of varying color popping out through the skin lesions. These fibers can be black, white, red or even iridescent blue. Others report black specks falling from their bodies that litter their sheets and bathrooms. Eventually a variety of bugs and worms begin to find their way out of the body through the lesions. Other accompanying symptoms include hair loss, debilitating and chronic fatigue, hard nodules beneath the skin, and joint pain.
Morgellons also has a cognitive aspect. People with the disease experience neurological damage that manifests as difficulty concentrating, inability to process and use language effectively, and generalized brain fog. The presence of reduced cognitive ability has made it easier for doctors to dismiss Morgellons and send patients away with a diagnosis of delusional parasitosis, meaning they are imagining they are infected by parasites. After the typical eight minute visit, traditional doctors pull out their prescription pads and write these people prescriptions for antidepressants or antipsychotic medications.
As a result, Morgellons also has a psychological component. Once people become aware that symptoms such as theirs are treated as delusions they are reluctant to seek further medical attention and tend to withdraw from society with their only contact with others being through the internet. They begin living the lifestyle of the leper. Many have to give up their jobs and become dependent on public assistance. This adds to the psychological debilitation of the disease. Not being taken seriously when you know you have a terrifying and devastating disease causes permanent psychological damage.
Morgellon’s victims feel the resentment other patients do when they are told it is all in their heads. As Morgellon’s progresses and the neurological symptoms become more manifest, patients can become difficult to care for and deal with. Isolated with only the internet, they become less able to effectively care for themselves. Some Morgellons patients have committed suicide.
It is a sad situation that the traditional doctor’s visit must often end in a diagnosis, but the doctor is unwilling or unable to take the time to make sure it is a correct diagnosis. The traditional medical set up is frequently unable to deal with patients who present with a variety of diverse symptoms affecting several body systems at one time.
Oakland A’s player Billy Koch and his family all have Morgellons. They have been open about their disease and have made some attempt to educate others. Billy had to retire from his baseball career as a result of the disease. Singer Joni Mitchell also has Morgellons, and the disease has negatively impacted her career as well.

Many morgellons victims end up trying to treat themselves
Anyone with Morgellons’s symptoms will probably spend a lot of time going from doctor to doctor. While the unhelpful ones simply tell them they are delusional, the helpful ones prescribe a variety of creams used for scabies, ring worm and other parasitic diseases, but nothing works for more than a few days. With no help from the medical community, people with Morgellons turn to the internet where they learn the name for their disease and the names for the parasites that are coming through their skin. As a result of desperation and the lack of information about the disease except from chat boards, many victims end up trying a variety of toxic treatments at home.
Authorities on the disease are emerging
One of the few people to take the disease seriously was Randy Wymore, a neuroscientist at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Science. He received samples from a range of people who claimed the fibers had come through their skin. Although the samples all resembled one another, to him they looked like no other synthetic or natural fiber with which he compared them. He finally asked the Tulsa police department’s forensics team to examine them.
The team identified the chemical structures of the fibers and compared them to their database of 800 fibers. They found no match, so they used gas chromatography to compare the fibers to their data on 90,000 organic compounds. The fibers did not match up with any of them. They concluded that the fibers were unknown, and not contaminants from clothing sticking to scabs on the lesions as had been thought by those so ready to dismiss what their patients were saying. Wymore and the forensic team concluded that the disease producing these fibers was very real and very frightening.
Wymore then asked the chief of the pediatrics department at Oklahoma State University Hospital, Rhonda Casey, to take a look at some of the patients. At first she was tempted to dismiss them too, but she began to realize how ill the people were. They had neurological symptoms that included confusion, loss of control of their feet that resulted in difficulty walking, and their mouths sagged when they spoke. Many had been diagnosed with neurological diseases.
Dr. Casey examined the patients, took biopsies of their lesions as well as from their healthy skin. Using a dermatoscope, she was able to observe fibers under completely unbroken skin. She found them embedded in the healthy tissue of the patients as well as the diseased tissue, and admitted seeing the full range of fiber colors. She reported seeing a lesion on a young girl’s thigh with black fibers just barely protruding from it, and concluded that she could not have done this to herself.
Another person taking the disease seriously is Trisha Springstead, a registered nurse in Florida who has become a beacon of light for Morgellon’s patients in the area. She has seen the fibers come through their skin, and has spent hours with patients extracting parasites embedded so deeply that a needle is required to extract them. According to her, a dermatoscope does not penetrate deeply enough to reveal the full extent of parasite involvement.
CDC begins epidemiologic investigation into Morgellons
In April, 2006, the CDC recommended an epidemiological investigation of what they were then referring to as a public health concern. In January, 2008 they announced a grant to health care giant Kaiser Permanente to test and interview 150 to 500 patients suffering from Morgellons. The study is being done in the Bay Area of northern California, where many Morgellons patients live. Kaiser Permanente doctors have been among the most ready to classify Morgellons as delusional parasitosis.
The National Center for Zoonotic, Vector-Borne, and Enteric Diseases (ZVED) provided statements posted on the CDC website regarding what the CDC now calls “Unexplained Dermopathy (aka Morgellons”). This organization was created in 2007 under CDC’s Coordinating Center for Infectious Diseases. ZVED promotes itself as proving leadership, expertise, and service in laboratory and epidemiological science, bioterrorism preparedness, applied research, disease surveillance, and outbreak response for infectious diseases.
The term zoonotic refers to any disease that is able to jump the divide from animals to people. Microbes created for bioterrorism are zoonotic. There are many known zoonotic diseases, such as Lyme disease and malaria. Vectors are the transmitters of disease-causing organisms that carry the pathogens from one host to another. By common usage, vectors are considered to be invertebrate animals, usually arthropods. Technically, vertebrates can also act as vectors, including foxes, raccoons, and skunks, which can all transmit disease to humans through a bite. Mosquitoes and ticks are the most notable disease vectors, although mites and gnats may also carry disease. Enteric diseases are bacterial and viral infections of the gastrointestinal tract that account for an under appreciated burden of morbidity and mortality domestically and abroad.
The involvement of ZVED in creating the CDC webpage for Mogellons clearly implies acceptance by the CDC that Morgellons is a disease involving not just fibers but parasites.
ZVED’s vision statement describes three goals: accelerating prevention, control, and preparedness of ecologically mediated microbial threats; global vision, global presence, global reach, and health impact; and working at the intersection of human, animal, and ecological health to achieve healthier people, places, and a healthier world.
The Morgellons, GMO link persists
About the time that Dr. Wymore’s forensic investigation of fibers was completed, a specialist in infectious disease detection, Ahmed Kilani, claimed to have broken down two fiber samples and extracted their DNA. He found that they belonged to a fungus.
Meanwhile, Vitaly Citovsky, Professor of Biochemistry and Cell Biology at Stony Brook University in New York, discovered the fibers contained the substance Agrobacterium Tumafaciens, the bacteria causing crown gall disease in plants (formation of tumors in more than 140 species of dicot plants). It is a genus of gram-negative bacteria capable of genetically transforming not only plants, but also other eukaryotic species, including humans.
Anonymous samples were provided to Professor Citovsky by the Morgellon’s Research Foundation to use in investigating the potential presence of Agrobacterium Tumafaciens in biopsies from Morgellon’s patients. Control reactions included samples provided by healthy donors. Only Morgellons, not healthy subjects, tested positive for the bacterium in these studies.
Professor Citovsky issued a statement saying his observation does not imply that Agrobacterium Tumafaciens causes Morgellons, or that Morgellons is indeed an infectious disease. However, he has called for further study to determine (1) statistical significance of data, (2) whether the bacterium is not only present extracellularly, but also causes genetic transformation of the infected tissues, and (3) whether infection of laboratory animals with the bacterium can recreate symptoms of Morgellons.
Agrobacteerium Tumafaciens is a soil bacterium. Symptoms of grown gall disease are caused by the insertion of a small segment of DNA into the plant cell, which is incorporated at a semi-random location into the plant genome. They are parasitic and detrimental to the plant.
DNA transmission capabilities of Agrobacterium have been extensively exploited by biotechnologists as a means for inserting foreign genes into plants. They discovered the gene transfer mechanism between Agrobacterium and plants, and developed methods to alter Agrobacterium into an efficient delivery system for gene engineering in plants. This is done by cloning the desired gene sequence into the transfer DNA (T-DNA) that will be inserted into the host DNA. Under laboratory conditions the T-DNA has also been transferred to human cells, demonstrating the diversity of insertion application. The mechanism through which Agrobacterium inserts materials into the host cell is very similar to mechanisms used by pathogens to insert materials (usually proteins) into human cells.

This disease is associated with the governments HAARP enabling aerosol program (chemtrails) Where ever these chemtrails are regularly dispursed the intrusive disease is not far behind. As someone who was approached not long ago by Kaiser to participate in this CDC/Kaiser study let me assure everyone that they are way more focused on discrediting patients claims of being infected then they are in discovering the cause of this manmade disease. Yes Chem Trails are no different than what we sprayed on the vietnamese but at higher altitudes and the solution released is not a chemical but a biological. It seems they have been scattered all around the world and were never so focussed and coordinated until now, and it seems they are are all together working on us now. Related to the cause of Morgellons Disease, I am placing my money on the compounds used in growing genetically modified foods. I believe there is enough data available to show that the organisms responsible for this treatment evasive disease have somehow been picked up during evaporation of farmland runoff. The fungus used by commercial farmers on strawberries and other produce or some variation of it could easily be the culpret here. Sadly in this corporatist remnant of America the government will keep on sweeping the evidence under the rug until there actually emerges a related health collapse similar to what the crooked bankers and congressmen concocted raping the United States economical system. Be mindful of what is in the sky above you and on your food you eat if you want to minimize exposure to the unintented consequences of modern technology.

My Family sent out a neighborhood email saying is anyone getting pinworms from the water. Oh were people mad at us!!!! We noticed 3 out of 5 of us take baths and 2 do not. The 3 that took baths had pinworms over 12 X in 2 years. Stopped taking baths and no more pinworms. Look at tap water report in your town, our said parasites in water.
Now my husband had these symptoms like you are showing in picture. It was horrible!!!!!
He was in much pain and it disolved skin where blisters came.
We stopped eatting anything that we didn’t get locally, ORGANIC right away. We know it is Melimine , Gmos and corn Syrup!!!

Well excuse me, but the terms “scary, frightening, and terrifying” show up plenty in this article. Why doesn’t the author leave the fear up to the reader? Why is it important to the author that the reader feels anxiety? These questions should be asked.

impossible and i would like to know if these people are on other medication or on an odd diet.
some of the things you describe sound like legitimate parasitic infections,80% of human disease is caused by worms mostly in 3rd world counties. as we intermingle globaly i expect to here more things as the bot fly stories.
i have inspected microscopic pictures of the “fibers” you speak of and really cant explain that.
However,i will say i know of know egg casing or larvea that would explain the man made looking material the “fibers” apear to be made of.

I heard about this story a couple of years ago – the funny thing was the symptoms cleared up when the doctors put clean watertight dressings over the wounds. It stopped the following at least; the people from scratching and infecting the wound, stopped fabric fibers entering the wound sites or contaminated water entering the wound.

We are in a time where the soft kill is everywhere. They are planning all of this. I got hit with transverse mioyolitis that is were your own body after fighting a virus turns and attacks your spine. I believe this is from the Chem-Trails. Whatever they are spraying is working. I think we need to walk around with masks on. I’ve also noticed that’s when it’s really cold out the Chem-Trails don’t take affect (they don’t form), but when it’s warmer out (over 40 Degrees) they do form. So I try not to be out and walking aroung when I see them forming.

I do not really think knowing about it is going to help a lot. How many replacement gas mask cans can one buy? Avoid food? You can reduce the impact at best but they will get us.

The article’s description of Agrobacterium Tumafaciens and its use as a “gene gun” is so much the same as how we arrived at Mad Cow disease: “boys with toys” — too-clever-by-half entrepreneurs violating natural boundaries to get at the windfall profits. EugenicsScientist’s summary is very convincing as well, that it is a fungus. In either case, we are the victims essentially of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.
I remember bringing up the subject of Mad Cow after a class and how it came to be — engineered by feeding dead cows (brain and spinal column) to live cows, and how a young scholar with parents from India began to tell me what a good thing that was — “intensivie farming”, all that extra protein in the diet!

But one thing this article fails to do is talk about the bugs and worms, relatively advanced creatures, coming out of the lesions. Why don’t we read about their DNA? Surely that would be a key piece of information? Did nobody think of that?
And all that’s not to mention the intentional diseases we all here know about.

I see a lot of people saying “chemtrails” with no proof. That’s because there is none there. Hanes appears to be your true culprit. They had a lot of problems with a certain cotton worm so they put their genetic engineers to work to counter the problem. The seed was genetically altered with silkworm cells. This has created a pseudo parasite, a form of fungus with cotton as the vector of the disease. The fibers that this thing produces have been run through a police forensics unit with NO KNOWN MATCH. They didn’t know what it was. The people that seem to get morgellons are people who appear to be lacking salt in their diet. This thing does not like salt at all, nor ammonia either. So if you have morgellons, wash your clothing and bedding in ammonia and increase your salt levels (check with a doctor of course). The Hanes Corporation does not want any of this to come out. Maybe explains why you see so many postings blaming it on chemtrails. CDC isn’t looking for a cure, they’re looking for a way to cash in for their Big PHARMA buddies. They probably don’t want you knowing how to get rid of it the easy way, simply by getting enough salt in your diet.

‘Diseases’ happen not just on the physical level, they are multi dimensional. Given the facts that American ‘food supply’ is beyond good and evil to begin with, you have the reason number one for any disease. What goes into your system affects you, like it or not, and I know from experience that Americans in particular love to deny this:-) Another level of disease manifestation happens when the mind is being poisoned. For this we have predominantly tv, and a host of hostile frequencies and wavelengths not compatible with the human body. This, too, is greatly being denied by most people. It is hard today to completely avoid toxicity in our environment, but we STILL have some control of what we put into our bodies and on them (your cosmetics and personal hygiene poisons must not be ignored). One of the idiot white coats I saw last year during my physical (what a freaking waste of time in this country) was honestly convinced 0 and tried to convince me, too – that antibiotical creams do NOT enter into your blood. I sat there and laughed right into her face, asking where the hell she went to medical school, another galaxy perhaps? What in the world do you expect from ‘doctors’ who are completely unaware of the functions of the human body? Yet millions of dumbos put their whole trust and faith in an industry designed to kill, not heal. People, if you haven’t started to learn to heal yourselves, I’d say it is about time to do so. Chemtrails, food, skin’care’ items, etc., poison, poison, poison. I contacted our local tv station in Tacoma, WA, a little while ago (komo tv, Ken Shram, the big shot who pisses in his pants when asked to investigate the real evils in the world) about my observance of increased chemtrail activity in the Puget Sound area. NO RESPONSE, NO REPLY, NOT A SINGLE WORD FROM THE ‘MAN’.All those chemical components we come in contact with on a daily basis have been created with a purpose. At the end of the day who cares if people like Alex Jones mean well or not, they are just that, people, you see? It is YOU ALL who really need to learn to use your own brains and intuition to distinguish between ‘real’ and ‘unreal. You won’t be able to do so while occupying your brains and minds with ways to talk down to others, and generally deny everything. Denial is a malfunction of the mind, you know? So is total absorption of all you hear and see.

This is the result of the most recent top secret worldwide eugenics program. GMO the food source by manipulating the very DNA structure of the plant, and thus the DNA structure of the consumer making selected sections of the population more suceptable to disease.
Chemtrails are a scary reality – most people would rather hold their hands over their ears and yell LA LA LA LA LA than even listen to the science behind it- all one needs to do is look up and observe to see it. Most of you walking corpses with no attention span do not even understand the definate difference between contrails and chemtrails. Others are too busy with the manufactured distractions of everyday life to even care, let alone research it for themselves.

Note to self: if I get morgellans then I will also get a second opinion from everyone in my doctor’s office (including staff and patients) that the FIBERS, BUGS, and WORMS protruding from my skin are indeed real BEFORE I get called in to see the doctor. At least I will not be the only one leaving the office with a prescription for antidepressants…

I have listened to a lot of theorys about Morgellans but no one brings
up the possibility of experimental vaccinations with exotic monkey, pig,
jelly fish, lizard, fish, fungus, plant, virus, alien, or bacterial RNA and DNA.
No one knows what are in vaccines except the people that make vaccines.
Never again will I allow any one to vaccinate me for anything.

I have a friend who says the fibers are glass-like panspermic life form that comes here inside meteorites, especially from Mars. I didn’t believe him, but then people he knew started getting the disease after being exposed to the Frass meteorite. I rather doubt that the Frass is a meteorite, but I have seen some odd glassy fibers inside other freshly broken meteorites. He says they are slow-growing but can be cultivated in the freezer, which would pretty much rule out any ordinary lifeform. Haven’t tried this. From what I hear about the disease, I wouldn’t the fibers anywhere near me. Brain-eating alien parasites? It really does sound like a bad sci-fi movie.
