Murdoch CEO Labels Bloggers “Political Extremists”
John Hartigan laments how bloggers are not sent to jail like in China or Burma

A stinging attack by John Hartigan, the CEO of Rupert Murdoch’s News Limited, labels bloggers and alternative media outlets as “political extremists”. Hartigan implies that bloggers should be jailed as they are in oppressive police states like China and Burma.
In a speech to the National Press Club, Hartigan savagely dismissed blogs as, “Something of such little intellectual value as to be barely discernible from massive ignorance.”
“Bloggers don’t go to jail for their work. They simply aren’t held accountable like real reporters….It could be said the blogosphere is all eyeballs and no insights,” barked Hartigan.
“In the blogosphere, of course, the mainstream media is always found wanting. It really is time this myth was blown apart.”
“Blogs, and a large number of comment sites, specialise in political extremism and personal vilification. Radical sweeping statements without evidence are common.”
Hartigan doesn’t seem to grasp the fact that the mainstream media is always found wanting because they habitually lie about news events and spin stories to suit the demands of their corporate owners. This is the very reason why blogs and alternative media outlets have become so popular and have eaten into the mainstream media’s audience share, because people are sick of being treated like idiots, sick of being lied to, and are desperately in search of the truth.
Indeed, Hartigan’s boss Rupert Murdoch confessed to the fact that his media empire tried to shape public opinion to support the war in Iraq In other words, Murdoch’s many prominent news outlets wantonly put out propaganda supporting the manufactured case for invasion. Murdoch admitted to this while lamenting the corporate media’s “loss of power” to alternative media and Internet blogs, seemingly unaware of the fact that the two are directly connected.
When the people know that the corporate media is deliberately lying to them about Niger yellowcake and weapons of mass destruction, they are going to seek alternative avenues of information. The fact that the corporate media habitually lies is a manifestly provable reality, not a “myth” as Hartigan ludicrously claims.
In addition, while mainstream media routinely uses anonymous sources and little more than bluster and hot air to back up their stories, blogs provide links to almost every claim they make so readers can research the source evidence for themselves. This is the opposite from Hartigan’s claim that blogs make “radical sweeping statements without evidence.” Indeed, this phrase perfectly characterizes tactics employed by the mass media on a daily basis.

The corporate media monopoly has terminal cancer and they are losing their power to blogs and alternative media, which is why people like Hartigan are so angry and also why the establishment is aggressively moving to phase out the old Internet altogether and replace it with “Internet 2,” a highly regulated and controlled electronic Berlin wall, where alternative voices will be silenced and giant corporate propaganda organs will dominate once again.
As blogger Darryl Mason writes today, “John Hartigan is full of shit. Bloggers have gone to jail for their work, and to protect their sources, in North Korea, Iran, Egypt, the list of countries persecuting bloggers grows longer by the week. And the CEO of Australia’s biggest news corporation doesn’t know this?”
The jailing of bloggers for speaking too much truth is obviously not the kind of news that John Hartigan, a Rupert Murdoch CEO, is interested in. How could he not know about those jailing and prosecutions.
Remember those words. “Political extremism”.
You will hear that call more and more as the major news corporations scale up their war against independent media, and bloggers.
The source of the establishment’s move to claim that bloggers and alternative media outlets are “extremists” or at worst “terrorists,” as we first reported in September 2006, was a White House strategy document that the government had been following since 9/11.
In a September 5, 2006 speech President George W. Bush referred to the document as “an unclassified version of the strategy we’ve been pursuing since September the 11th, 2001,” that takes into account, “the changing nature of this enemy.”
The strategy paper on how to ‘win the war on terror’ cites “conspiracies” as one of the wellsprings of terrorism and threatens to “address” and “diminish” the problems they are causing the government in fulfilling their agenda.
This notion then reappeared in a March 2009 Homeland Security document entitled “Domestic Extremism Lexicon,” in which the “alternative media” is listed alongside other radical extremist groups with the implication that people who disagree with the mass media’s version of events are potential domestic terrorists.
According to World Net Daily, the DHS document was almost immediately rescinded, but the groups listed alongside Neo-Nazis, Aryan prison gangs and black power extremists again prove that the federal government is targeting American citizens who are merely knowledgeable about their rights and up on current issues as potential domestic terrorists to be treated as a “threat” to law enforcement.

They won’t roll over that easy. IMO the Web will eventually be fully censored. Fast downloads will only be available to licensed (=approved) sites, and sites like this will not be around in the open.
I hope I’m wrong, but I think this period will be looked back on as unique for the amount of free speech that was permitted.

I too watched that programme last night. Here’s a rebuttal that will be expanded upon I’m sure.
The corporation that produced the magnificent “Gladio” – an exposure of NATO intelligence false flag operations is now just a mouth piece for a green, pro European & globalist views. Even Newsnight reported about the UK secret service links to jihadist groups in UK. London used to be known in intelligence circles as “Londonistan.”
This was a typical hit piece. It suggested that somehow questioning 7/7 hurt something called “social cohesion.” I don’t know about you, but I’ve not seen much evidence of “social cohesion” in the UK. They also suggest questioning 7/7 somehow hurts the victims. I didn’t know only those unlucky enough to get caught up were the only ones qualified to comment. The fact is, after 7/7 the UK passed a raft of draconian laws. In a sense we are all victims of 7/7.
The film mainly focused on “7/7 Ripple effect,” moreover, it only focused on the parts it could discredit. There’s so much more out there. Nafeez Ahmed’s book for one (which was heavily censored in parts) posed far serious questions that were not dealt with in the programme.
It was typical of this series of programmes. Watch the programme they did about the Oklahoma City bombings & then read the OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS that came out of the Kenneth Trentadue case. You’ll then see this series of programmes for what they are. Propaganda.

I watched the speech given by Rupert Murdoch to a gathering of newspaper editors where he said, ‘you can no longer control the message as you have in times past’. This was about 4 years ago. So they’ve known the conditions they were operating under for a very long time, but they persisted with “infotainment” as opposed to hard, serious news. They could have taken a radically different course of action rather than simply continuing with the cr*p that they call “news”.
People are hungry for truthful information in whatever form it takes. The mainstream media is not meeting that need and they haven’t met that need for a very long time – if ever. At this point, the mainstream media has been found to be so lacking that it’s doubtful they can ever recover no matter what they do.

Sinister Plans
The foremost aim of the freemasons was real world power. From the
United Nations emblem it is clearly seen that the 33 degrees of
freemasonry already control the world. Around this circular symbol,
containing a grade network of 33 sections, there are two olive
branches with 13 leaves on either side – which symbolize a concretization
of the spiritual means of development. To the freemasonry
the acacia is its chief symbolic sign, whose esoteric meaning
is ‘very intense activity’. The mythical builder Hiram Abiff
supposedly was covered with leaves of acacia, which to the freemasons

Recently a commission to implement a world government has been
formed by the UN. The former Swedish Prime Minister Ingvar Carlsson
shares the chairmanship with Shridath Ramphal. Jim Garrison, of the
Gorbachov Foundation, and a high-ranking freemason, told The San
Francisco Weekly (31 May 1995) that “this is the next phase in

Another well-known high-ranking freemason, Zbigniew Brzezinski,
was equally honest when in the 1970s he stated: “I have no illusion
that the world government will appear in our lifetime… We cannot

requirement for final and true globalisation is a continuous regionalization,
because that way we move toward larger, more stable, and more
cooperative units.”
This is amazingly like a Stalinist scheme: “Later on the various
regions can be united to form one single world dictatorship.” (Josef
Stalin, “Marxism and the National Issue”, Moscow, 1942)
The well-known freemason James Paul Warburg said before the US
Senate on 17 February 1950: “We shall have World Government, whether
we like it or not. The only question is whether World Government will be
achieved by conquest or consent.”
David Rockefeller stated: “We are on the verge of a global transformation.
All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept
the New World Order.”
Strobe Talbot, who was president Clinton’s assistant secretary of
state, stated in Time Magazine (p. 70) on 20 July 1992: “The best
mechanism for democracy… is …a federation, a union of separate states
that allocate certain powers to a central government while retaining many
others for themselves. Federalism has already proved the most successful
of all political experiments, and organizations like the World Federalist
Association have for decades advocated it as the basis for global government…
The US is still the best example of a multinational federal state…
Perhaps national sovereignty wasn’t such a great idea after all.”
Thus the freemasons are ready to reveal their secret power by
introducing a world government.
The Swiss author Karl Heise published the British freemasons’ map
of Europe of 1888. It shows the new borders of Europe as they were
after the war. His interesting study “Entente – Freimaurerei und
Weltkrieg” / “Entente – Freemasonry and World War” (Basel, 1919)

War.
The British newspaper The Truth published in December 1890 a
map, showing those European borders that only became a reality in
1919. Three great empires were gone! This map was published as a
satirical exaggeration. In 1919 no one was laughing any more.

of the international financiers. It is upon them that sets the blood of
millions of dead and millions of dying.” (Congressional Record, 67th

The high-ranking freemason Jacques-Yves Cousteau said in an
interview to The UNESCO Courier (November 1991, p. 13): “In order to
stabilize world population, we must eliminate 350 000 people per day. It
is a horrible thing to say, but it is just as bad not to say it.”
In just one year it would amount to 128 million people. Cousteau
meant that the world leaders had ten years to reduce the population,
before it was time for drastic decisions.
Thomas Ferguson, the Latin American case officer for the State
Department’s Office of Population Affairs (OPA), wrote in the early
1970s: “There is a single theme behind all our work – we must reduce
population levels. Our failure to lower population by simple means has
created the basis for a national security crisis. The government of El Salvador
failed to use our programs to lower their population. Now they get
a civil war because of it…. There will be dislocation and food shortages.
They still have too many people there. Civil wars are somewhat drawnout
ways to reduce population. The quickest way to reduce population is
through famine, like in Africa or through disease like the Black Death. We
look at our strategic needs, and we say that this country must lower its
population – or else we will have trouble. So steps are taken.” (Executive

Cyrus Vance (1917-2002, Skull & Bones, Trilateral Commission,
Council on Foreign Relations, Bohemian Club), who in 1976 became
President James Earl Carter’s secretary of states, in 1975 edited the
600-page report “Global 2000″, which was ordered by power elite.

people by the year 2000. The population of the United States should
be reduced to 100 million by the year of 2050.

4. They have spread a revolting type of “entertainment” like action
movies with violence; pornography; disharmonious plagiarized
popular music like that by the freemasons George Gershwin and
Irving Berlin (Israel Baline, 32nd degree), who came from Russia;
and hard rock music; propagated for competitive sports such as
soccer, which reaped 300 victims during the 1980s and in 1969
caused a war between Honduras and El Salvador that lasted four
days and cost 6000 lives and made 50 000 people homeless). The

Brothers Fame) have all done harm to mankind by spreading

B’nai B’rith founded in the early 1920s a lodge also in Hollywood,

the special Film Lodge in Hollywood on 16 November 1939. In 1974 it
began to be known as Cinema Unit 6000, which was a lodge within

Radio-TV Unit 6000. All B’nai-B’rith masons in the mass media were
united in this lodge.
In 1979, there were 1600 members, such as actors, distributors,
directors, scriptwriters, producers, and composers. All these freemasons
have had an enormous influence on the development of violent
entertainment. Larry Hagman, who played the mean oil producer
J. R. Ewing in the soap opera “Dallas”, is one of the members of this
lodge. Another member is Leonard Nimoy of “Star Wars” (Viktor
Ostretsov, “Freemasonry, Culture and Russian History”, Moscow,
1999, p. 613).
5. The freemasons have made sure that as many young people as
possible are dependent on drugs. What is called ‘youth culture’ is
the worst crime against youth. The freemason George Soros
propagates legalizing drugs. The Grand Orient favours the
narcotics traffic by the Mafia. The CIA has with tacit support of
the masonic leaders participated in drug dealing from Vietnam

example the freemason Jacob Venedy (1805-1871) was one of the
leaders of the revolutionary committee of fifty, which was
founded in Frankfurt am Main in March 1848 during the greatest

Venedy was leading the revolt in Berlin on 18 March 1848. The P2
Lodge as another example helped form the terror organization
the Red Brigades in 1969.
9. They have installed totalitarian regimes, for instance in Russia in

10. Finally they want to turn the UN into a totalitarian world

I wish the protesters and the activists would wake up and realize that they’re being taken for a ride (in other words, it isn’t working, it’s time for something else. Yes, I’m all about Ghandi’s principles, but at some point, there has to be a compromise). We all need to start being really smart about communications, and use them wisely, as they’re monitored. We need to form organizations, and keep them secret. Find a way to network, and plan a revolution. I, personally, am so disgusted, that at this point, I’m advocating a complete overthrow of the US government. A revolution needs to happen, and not spontaneously, either. It needs to be planned. We’re all smart enough to see through BS, right? Well, then let’s get our asses in gear, here! Murdoch media empire does in fact support certain political goals and agendas. As stated by Mr. Murdoch in this article that his empire tried to shape public opinion to support the war in Iraq. The question he needs to answer is whether that is the function of his newspapers to engage in such conduct or whether it is the responsibility of newspapers to report the news in an unbias manner and let the readers decide for themselves.
One of the reason newspapers are declining is because many people are realizing that they are not being properly informed as to what is taking place in the world. They are looking to other sources to fill in the gap. More and more people are realizing the bias in reporting the news and are being turned off by it. Too many people in the media have a bias in reporting financial news, especially events occurring in the Middle East, social issues, and in many cases just leaving out news events that the American people should be aware of.
Many newspapers, and other media forms are owned or controlled by those of the Jewish faith. They have an agenda and will only provide what news they want the American people to hear, see, or read. So long as they continue their one sided approach to reporting the news, the readership of their newspapers will continue to decline.

and un-perverted Faith then Prayers would be answered.
Many churches spring up in His name yet aren’t they all similarly an interpretation?
There is only one God. The same God for all Religions built with His Love at their hearts.
Many Religions have forgotten that Love. All try to lay exclusive claim to the Love of God
yet none rely upon Him through Faith. The Faith they claim to recognize as being righteous
could only be of God if it is wholesome. Wholesome being the inclusion of all and not a selective (or forced) dogma. Love would not inflict pain nor sufferings… tough love is teaching through example.
So God put us here with evil within our midst. What could He possibly be waiting for?
You have to ask yourselves. God gave us Christ to start counting days. He awaits our awakening from the selfish slumber we live as we race to annihilation of each other. .. in His name no less.
Man is pathetic and the devil has proven his point. This is the path that God laid out for us to come to this point in time to see. All He is waiting for was for someone to speak out like Christ did.
God isn’t gone… He never left. He is within you, me, us, them, all, always
.. and all it takes to find Him is the core component of all Religions, Love.
Through Love our existence is one of Peace and harmony.
We live in a world of turmoil yet it is still easier to deny God than to face
our own responsibility to each other. Perhaps the focus should have been
on “what is God” rather than “where is God”?
Do you know what God is? Plain and simple, God is promise.
Of what promise does a munition hold? Aside from the financial profit…
Of what purpose does war serve? Aside from its contractors…
How many lies does it take to tell a truth? … Whose flavor?
Some Prayers are answered. Many more go un-answered yet not unheard.
What is the purpose of this diametrically opposed destiny?
We are here to learn something, and God gave us His word to teach via example.
This is why human existence (ie: the man project) is historically built upon the record
and God has shown us the record with the fore-telling of the future… and a warning for
the path.

Money is the root of all evil. It feeds greed and equates all things. Anything in
abundance becomes dirt cheap, sadly for life as well. This is what
life without God is. For “the man project” is not only one of promise, but of potential.
Our most precious resource is each other, we should inspire not conspire.
Inspirational growth isn’t weaponized conquest. Nor is it massively inflated ego’s.
We are all the same yet we aren’t equal.
I have Faith

The human psyche is a fragile and suspicious thing… our inherent flaw. Should
someone ask for a dollar we view them with suspicion and distrust,
yet if someone were to simply offer a dollar out of the blue we would view
them with suspicion and distrust. Everything comes with a price.
There is only one gift that all would readily accept,… a gift so precious it is priceless
and so time-enduring it never ends. The gift of Love. Christ died for us out of Love,
not potential gain or indebtedness. Yet many repay him with a lack of interest.
The world would crucify him all over again if it had the chance. The skeptics
would be the loudest with their demands of proof, the sciences would examine
him like He were under a microscope, the people would fear Him for His power,
the Religions would fear Him for His threat. … because of His Love for all. How can
we be loved when we are un-lovable? Our suspicious natures would rather not believe
than leave us wide open for the pain of Love. Yes, Love is also pain. We have
empathy towards others and feel their pains… or should. This is the Love Jesus had
for us, to endure a physical torment unto death for the sake of humanity.
Is it ironic that Faith “saves” in an equation that has a duality with a monetary understanding?
Investing in Love for each other we pay each other, yet we are taxed with hate. The confusion and moral decay of our fibre (our souls) is a deficit that Jesus paid the dues on so we would prosper not as bankers, but as investors.
There are some things money just can’t buy. Plant the seed of Love and watch it grow.
Comprehend that Love isn’t infatuation (greed) nor is it dictatorial (demanding) but is free,
costs nothing to give, and yet enriches beyond compare.
Unfortunately, the world bank is closed. We have all been given the key,
it is up to us to open our hearts… or close our minds.
You want to beat this beast of lies and treachery, have Faith in God and stop fighting each other… on all fronts.

Rupert Murdock wanted to charge people for internet news content, and made himself the laughing stock of the news industry. The funny thing is, if he ever reported the TRUTH, people would pay to hear it, just like I am a subscriber, and pay to hear the truth on this website.

Akre and Wilson sued the Fox station and on August 18, 2000, a Florida jury unanimously decided that Akre was wrongfully fired by Fox Television when she refused to broadcast (in the jury’s words) “a false, distorted or slanted story” about the widespread use of BGH in dairy cows. They further maintained that she deserved protection under Florida’s whistle blower law. Akre was awarded a $425,000 settlement. Inexplicably, however, the court decided that Steve Wilson, her partner in the case, was ruled not wronged by the same actions taken by FOX.
FOX appealed the case, and on February 14, 2003 the Florida Second District Court of Appeals unanimously overturned the settlement awarded to Akre. The Court held that Akre’s threat to report the station’s actions to the FCC did not deserve protection under Florida’s whistle blower statute, because Florida’s whistle blower law states that an employer must violate an adopted “law, rule, or regulation.” In a stunningly narrow interpretation of FCC rules, the Florida Appeals court claimed that the FCC policy against falsification of the news does not rise to the level of a “law, rule, or regulation,” it was simply a “policy.” Therefore, it is up to the station whether or not it wants to report honestly.
During their appeal, FOX asserted that there are no written rules against distorting news in the media. They argued that, under the First Amendment, broadcasters have the right to lie or deliberately distort news reports on public airwaves. Fox attorneys did not dispute Akre’s claim that they pressured her to broadcast a false story, they simply maintained that it was their right to do so. After the appeal verdict WTVT general manager Bob Linger commented, “It’s vindication for WTVT, and we’re very pleased… It’s the case we’ve been making for two years. She never had a legal claim.

Hi, I notice you are discussing mysteries associated with the Church I thought I would mention a book I just read.
We have been led to believe by our ancestors that when Jesus was resurrected he went up to a throne in heaven. However I just read a fascinating book by the New Testament scholar Stephan Huller that in earliest Christianity that the original gospel writer (St. Mark) might have had a physical throne ON THIS EARTH in mind – one which originally sat in Alexandria and which he rediscovered in Venice – see the photos of the object in the Basilica di San Marco which Italian sailors stole from the Church of St. Mark in Alexandria along with the body of St. Mark in 828 AD – see photos of the throne here – http://www.therealmessiahbook.blogspot.com.
The point of Huller’s book is that St. Mark was the first Pope and that Jesus ruled ‘on his right hand’ as he sat on this throne (it is a universally acknowledged – albeit ignored – fact that the title ‘Papa’ or Pope was originally associated with St. Mark rather than St. Peter and with Alexandria rather than Rome; the bishop of Rome only acquired the title after the fifth century).
I was really fascinated by this book. It wasn’t anything like what I had been taught in school. It really made me think and learn about the language that Jesus and the original gospel writer (St. Mark) spoke.
For instance in Hebrew or Aramaic (the language of Jesus) there would be no way to distinguish the concepts of ‘divine throne’ or ‘heavenly throne’ – i.e. it would be easy for white Europeans to get misled or confused (like the Gospels of Matthew and Luke speaking about ‘the kingdom of heaven’ and ‘God’ even though the Aramaic would be one and the same).
Moreover the Hebrew word for throne – kisse – is the Aramaic word for cup. Could the mysteries associated with the grail have been originally connected with a throne?
