Among the many performances at the Coachella music festival, there was one act more disturbing and brutal than the rest. As hundreds of music fans looked on, three police officers beat down and repeatedly tasered a naked wizard who apparently wasn’t eager to throw a robe over his magic wand.

Every good party has naked people! Everyone just stood around while three thugs in uniform committed pernicious acts of torture. Isn’t that supposed to be illegal?

Why did those people not help him. They just stood around and took pictures. They went no further than yelling at a bunch of thugs while they assaulted a man. I’m sure they would have done the same had the man been clothed and his attackers had not been cops. We are all people, and if we fight against evil TOGETHER, we greatly outnumber them.

i know from another point of view it seems that all americans are idiots to what is really going on. this is mostly true. but there are some of us who truly believe in freedom, and our constitution and want a better way to do things, we are not all completely brain dead. but i see it everyday, and it makes me want to kill myself. because this world is sickening. but at the same time, i know damn well i was meant to lead and fight for what is right, even against all odds, i will fight to the death in any situation to help free man-kind. i can only hope there are enough of us out there who are willing to go the extra LONG MILE to the end. by the time i am an old man, id like to be well known for saving humanity against tyranny. that is a personal goal and dream of mine. Let us stand agianst what is being forced upon us, from old aging tyrannts, trying to make their last impression upon the world that has seen enough of his ways, and be united under the belief that we are all free people that deserve rights, no matter what you believe. of course there will be laws, and yes taxes, but all regulated fairly. not the system you see today. thats bullshit.

I co-sign 100%…It’s unfortunate that the masses don’t realize what life is about, or about the sinister plan and action’s that are placed before us. From Chemtrails, to swine flu, etc., etc…But from my understanding, this is bound to happen. The events taken place today are prophecized, and there is nothing we can do about it. Thing’s are unfolding right before our eyes, just like the bible said it would. From one world government, to wars, to famines and division amongst people, homosexuality throughout the world, etc. Jesus told us this would happen, and told us that these things would occur. Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do about it…Even tho we could destroy this evil with ease, There aren’t enough believers that aren’t brainwashed by this “system” of life that these evil bastards created. To this day, I try to enlighten those that aren’t as informed as I am, but unfortunately, it goes through one ear and out the other, because they’tr into deep, and can’t get out the system. The won’t look out the box and realize whats really goin on. Instead, they continue on with their “dreams” and perception of what life is about based on what the government and evil do-ers have created for them. The only thing we can do is maintain the best relationship with GOD. That’s all that matters in this lifetime. It’s not about how much “money” you have, because your bank account definately isn’t followin you in the after life.

These “PROTECTORS OF THE PEACE” are lucky this was half wasted and not very well trained.. Why?
These PROTECTORS had trouble to get him to the ground??? These protectors are COMPLETELY INCOMETENT in the methods of “grappling” the “holds” that are impossible to resist when done correctly (not brutally but correctly).. Even a small child can “immobilize” and strong adult with these holds.. Yet these “TRAINED” officers didi everything wrong… How?
The move would be to, as theey did, lock hands behind back than with a slight presure move the man back while pushing slight down… This guy would EASILY have been sitting on his @Bare Butt@ and in complete control of the officers,,,
Instead these incompetent @pigs@ tried to push him FORWARD and you can see that even if they guy wanted to go down the pigs made it almost impossible for him to go to th eground and than he half wasted doesnt help… So with the little resistance he was capable of giving he rendered the MOVES of these @trained protectors of the peace@ completely ineffective and hightened the level of VIOLENCE the PIGS had to use… i mean really pulling the guys hair!!! but not because of the stength or prowes of this streaker but the incompetence of the cops to use and execute first simple clear and straight forward verbal communications of their intents of his nonclompliance and second the pigs appearent junior level ability to carry out @in the case of collapse of cooperation@ nonviolent safe imobilizing techniques to quickly safely and with least conflict resolve and move these so called offenders out of the area to allow life to go on…. obviously none of this happened and all of the people in and around the scene will bare the troubled feelings of injustice and violence… So lets go guys now we have the footage and can safely say these cops were>> ONE SITUATION AT A TIME!!!

First, the guy sure is acting like he is drunk or on acid. Second, the three cops can’t get this in cuffs? He doesn’t look strong, but he probably has liquid courage, and who wants to manhandle that guy? Third, the dude is resisting and committing a crime. He’s an idiot who got a little too into his party. Simply solution, put your clothes back on! It is not an unreasonable request! As you notice, the large circle of people gathered around were CLOTHED, and they were not being harassed by the officers. Police brutality is awful, but you can’t walk out into public just asking for trouble. The guy was an idiot. The officers were justified. Any arrest that involves resistance is not going to look pretty on film.

No, I am a librarian. I just happen to believe that this dork didn’t obey the JUST commands from the police to clothe himself. He got too much into his party, so gets to sleep it off in a cell. Nothing more, nothing less. I am also not a broadbrush guy who sees all tasing and police action as abuse. I believe society needs a minimal amount of law to ensure that there is such a thing as civilization and not just brutish savagery. The case with the pastor someone mentioned I see as unrelated since naked wizard guy was not at an unconstitutional checkpoint, was not justified in his resistance, and the pastor was not intoxicated. What is needed is a deeper level of thought than all cops are criminals, all police action is abuse, and any one who disagrees is a cop or part of the New World Order. Be careful because you lay on people the same arguments they lay of you. I’m not a part of that movement, whatever you call it because you seem favor anarchy, while as said I favor minimal government and laws. Thus abuse is straying from the proper use of, in this case, the taser. The one abuse I could see clearly was the knee cheap shot because it had no purpose in cuffing the guy. Keep in mind, as well, that the video does not provide us with a context to judge completely the “wizard” and the police. Why did they come over to him in the first place? Why are police even at this quote-unquote private venue, etc. Again, deeper analysis is needed than: them pigs tazed a slave because he wanted to be free. I hate cops. You question that, your a pig too. You delude yourself if you think this approach is going to end the tyranny laid over us. God bless!

Thank you. Has anyone heard of indecent exposure? It’s been on the law books for, oh … THOUSANDS of years now. People are obsessed with “this guy wasn’t hurting anyone.” They seem to think only physical harm matters in this world. Nudity in public has to do mostly with maintaining public decency and standards (hence “indecent”), and minimizing exposing from unwanted exposure to adult nudity. This is part of constructing an ordered society. You know, the predictability that when you visit the store you won’t be greeted by wierdo with his pants down. Furthermore, I believe this man will be hard-pressed to justify his nudity and resistance as artistic expression! If your conception of freedom is naked, high, wizards slobbering about, then I sincerely ask you to bulk up on freedom and orderly society throughout history. What do you expect, the cops to pussy foot with him? (I agree, though, that the knee to the chest was a cheap shot and unjustified. Really, they are only justified for those actions necessary to restrain the person.)

Maybe some folks like to shop in the buff, if someone runs a store with a “no shirt or pants required” policy clearly stated on the entrance, just shop somewhere else. Try celebrating the uniqueness of individuality instead of seeking to make evryone conform to the choices that you have made for yourself and your family. Indecent exposure is a victimless crime and along with prostitution, gambling, posession, etc. should be legalized at once and significant portion of the sheeple made aware of the coming shake down of the “organized society” into a world where they can no longer mandate their values upon the whole of society. This will be a much different world when people accept responsibility for creation of this reality and see the futility of attempting to restrict any behaviour that doesn’t harm anyone else or infringe upon their own pursuit of happiness. Now perhaps your beef should be with the organizers of the festival who, apparently, invited the police to patrol their festival on private property. Right? Why people would post negative comments about the handling of the situation by cops in this clip is beyond comprehension!
First of all, this was a public gathering. If I had been there and my kids were present, I would have beaten the piss outta this guy. He has no respect for himself, and was obviously looking for attention.

I think the cops haven tazers are a good thing, it keeps them from haven to shoot morrons that dont get the hint. And in case people are wondering, public nudity is a crime and always has been. The cops were more than patient. As for the pigs being “fat”, incase you did not know, they wear body armor under there shirts and it adds bulk.
Personaly I would rather be tazered than beat hte fuck down with a nightstick. They gave the guy EVERY chance to put his clothes back on. He did not comply. Remember people, freedom is not free. Your logic fallacious. Nudity in children is not the same as adult nudity. One thing, children have not gone through puberty, and are before the full development of their reason. You also overgeneralize by using the example of ankle skin. Obviously ankle skin is not the same as full nudity. You also use the name “nudity in public,” and then breastfeeding, but those our two different concepts. A woman exposing her breast to feed her child is not “indecent exposure” which is what this man is guilty of. Breastfeeding is a natural and good thing. It should be within out societal standards for women to breastfeed in public, and therefore “decent”. There was no just cause for this man’s nudity, therefore “indecent”.

I have watched a lot of these types of videos showing police arresting someone. Never before have I sided with the police. In this case the guy was a total douchebag and they gave him every opportunity to avoid arrest. I laughed when the chick who shook his hand clearly looked down at his lack of genitals. I wonder what she was thinking? The only thing I found offensive was when the police appeared to be using the taser as a form of punishment as opposed to trying to subdue him…

Well….this guy was pushing the limits by far. He was breaking the law and resisting arrest. I do think those cops could have and should have arrested him, and they didn’t even try before they whipped out the taser. I have never been tased, but I am sure it is far more painful than I can imagine. If they didn’t need to tase him…and they just did it out of laziness…then it needs to be addressed so that this behavior doesn’t become acceptable. If we say, its okay because this guy was drunk, then what about when the next guy is behaving like a “terrorist”…

Applying a taser to a person’s heart and medulla [base of the skull], especially someone obviously under the influence of a controlled substance can interrupt the heart rhythm and bring about arhythmia or atrial fibrillation. The controlled substance was apparently affecting his ability to feel pain, and therefore affected his central nervous system. He may already have had an accelerated heart rate.
The individual was also not in a mental condition where he understood the situation, albeit he made a lot of bad choices about where to take his hallucinogen, given his exhibitionistic propensity. A very foolish and possibly mentally ill person. He did not need or deserve to be subjected to potentially lethal force. There have been many cases of police killing the mentally ill or drug-crazed through their sheer ignorance and reliance on “standard procedures” for handling bizarre situations and persons not in a normal state of mind.
If they were anything other than knuckle-dragging thugs, they could have come up with a less violent means of taking him into custody. A couple cops could have easily rolled him up in a beach blanket and carried him away. Alternatively, a bit of pepperspray on his butt would have sent him running for the nearest facilities as well and added to the overall entertainment value of this incident.

Those Police Officers tried to work with this man. All they asked him to do was to put his clothes on, which should have never been off anyway. They really, really tried. After his never ending refusal to do what is right, they GRADUALLY increased the force UP TO the point of getting him under control.
There is no way that those Officers used excessive force, under the circumstances.

There are other ways to deal with situations like this than to say a mob of people should attack the police. They are people too and we all know that they are often misled just like Americans in any other profession. Nonviolent action, group action, should be the first thing any of us do.
Sit down and refuse to move, do exactly what the person being arrested was doing, encourage others to join you, call the police and report that someone is being assaulted, film it, call local media or send your own video to them (their numbers should be in your phone already), if you can go to the trial of the person you believe was wrongfully treated do go, these are some examples of things you can do without resorting to using violence. There is a time and a place for use of force. Don’t hold others to standards you can’t meet yourself.

Last night I was driving home and there was a roadblock on my street literally a few hundred feet from my apartment complex. I was drunk. It was late. The police officer, after knowing my destination, didnt ask for insurance, reg, or even ask if i was drinking. Did he know, yes he did. Was I a threat to other drivers, no, because my bac wasnt at an illegal level. the guy was just doing his job and was pretty chill about everything.
Not all cops are douchebags guys. Yeah of course you think they are when the only videos on this site relating to cops are clips showing them tasering innocents and things like the “bart” incident in Oakland. Seriously, its this paranoia against police officers that gets people into trouble for the most part. You think irrationally about police officers therefor you speak/act irrationally around them.

The officers TRIED to reason with this guy. He taunted the police when he threw the clothes away. He then technically assaulted the officer on his left when he was patronizingly patting him on the shoulder and did the same thing to the officer to his right. When the offices had finally exhausted their reasonable attempts to enforce the public laws regarding standards of moral and decency (something that the populace has long rejected, much to societies demise) he was placed under arrest and rightly so. Frankly I believe the police where very cordial obviously using reasonable restraint…they should have given him the “Rodney King” treatment. The woman that shook the perp’s hand and the person that handed him the water should have been arrested for interfering with a police action. It is perverse thinking such as this guys exercise of the 1st amendment right that will bring all our rights down. Those cops need to go back to the police academy and learn how to handcuff someone properly. It’s obvious they rely too much on technology (taser) and not enough on common sense practices that used to work just fine; especially with THREE officers to one man!!!! One officer could have held his shoulders down, one his legs and torso, and the third cuff him; and not in a brutal manner either. Looked like they were not working as a team very well. They could have coordinated the arrest much simpler and faster.

I don’t think the tasering was completely justified, but the police were doing their job… they tried to get him to comply with the law and put his clothes back on but he wouldn’t. At that point, their job was to arrest him…
The real problem is that tasering is too easy for cops to do… this is going to cause Americans big problems down the road… but when there is a drunk, naked guy resisting arrest, it isn’t difficult to argue the merits of using a taser on him just to get him in handcuffs. What’s the alternative? Beating him with a stick?
I can’t get worked up about this one… I say pick your battles… there is a lot worse going on.

Ok guys, I believe the cops did the right thing here, I did not listen to the audio on the vid because I’m listen to the AJ show, but I believe that the cops had every right to take this guy down, he would not put on clothes and resisted arrest, he was obviously being arrested for public indecency. I saw a video similar to this one , same situation, in France and the police were beating up on this guy in a stadium. (he wasn’t naked) It only took about 5 minutes for people in the bleachers to jump in and help the protester get free. The French were like hornets, unarmed , pushing and holding the police thugs back from their unarmed brother so he could make his get away. Tazers are inhumane to humanity. This naked man was a small time nothing. He didn’t have enough equipment to even be considered indecent. Plus he was drunk.

this would of never happened at most metal concert, cops wouldn’t dare try this infront of abunch of metal heads ,true metal musicians would step off the stage and start swinging their axes if this happened at their show ,i have a bc rich warlock guitar its pointy and it will do major damage they will have to shoot me and kill me ,i can’t wait to start doing shows this summer ,i don’t care if i die ,atleast i will die free with princibles ,then stand by like a pussy waiting for the shakles and the whip against my back

if the crowd rushes the cops what do you think will happen?? Riot police would come and punish them all and it would not be pretty for the civilians not to mention there concert would have ended. Civilians cannot fight back until they have the weaponry and the manpower to go up against “THE SYSTEM” once that is in place then it is time to unleash hell and began the next phase of this revolution.

first of all those are 3 of the fattest cops i have seen in my life. So badly out of shape that they struggle to take down a drunken hippie and have to resort to their tasers to do the work because they cant. Second is that the crowd of people could have done something but they have that fear within themselves that when they see police in uniform they know that they themselves could get into trouble..but what they fail to realize is that if they ALL stood up and decide to fight back then riot police or not it would be a STAND for our rights not just as Americans but as HUMAN BEINGS! there is no need to taze that guy that many times that is inhumane and should NEVER be tolerated no mater who is doing it…..so go suck a cawk you cawksawker

That man deserved what he got. It’s not the police’s fault he would not listen to their commands. As you can see in the video the naked guy got plenty of warnings and even when they tried to bring him down he blatantly struggled. The cops had no other option but to taser him. Don’t blame the police for one man’s idiocy.
