Britain is to have a national network of cameras and computers that automatically log and track car license plates, in a move described as “secretive and unregulated” by privacy advocates.
The system will be operational within months, according to the BBC.
“Police forces across England, Wales and Scotland will soon be able to share the information on one central computer.” the report states.
Local councils all over the country are queuing up to connect their existing CCTV cameras to the national system. Any camera, if high enough resolution, can be adapted to work with the new software.
Critics have pointed to incidents where “undesirables”, such as people who have taken part in anti-war rallies, have already had their cars marked by police and added to a central “hotlist”.
Some have been stopped in their cars by anti-terror police units and questioned under threat of arrest for no good reason.

“This is a system meant for criminals but John Catt has not been convicted of anything and on a trip to London, the pensioner found himself pulled over by an anti-terror unit.” the BBC report states.
“I was threatened under the Terrorist Act. I had to answer every question they put to me, and if there were any questions I would refuse to answer, I would be arrested. I thought to myself, what kind of world are we living in?” commented Mr Catt, who regularly attends anti-war protests.
Police have refused to acknowledge the case and will not reveal details of the number and positions of license plate cameras, citing “operational reasons”.

It’s not just happening in the UK!! This is an article about the local PD where I live. The surveliance network is going up in the US also, its just not as publicised here as it is in the UK.

From what I understand this technology is also able to utilize facial recognition to verify if the driver is the person with the warrent as long as the database includes the facial scan. As a matter a fact, this technology is derived from facial recognition software. Beware, Big Brother is watching you!

What about the one in 10 or 50 or 1000 criminals that gets his sorry ass caught in trying to do some innocents harm…..The inconvenience should be nothing to an upstanding citizen…..

At low levels, most of them probably have good intentions. These don’t matter as they are all a part of a huge impersonal machine controlled by people higher up who may very well NOT have good intentions. Perhaps those higher ups mean the best for us but “the best” in their view involves reducing us to the status of well kept livestock. There are several schools of thought out there where this is a very legitimate way to run things.
There is and will always be conflict between the individual and society. YOU are an individual and you should not forget which side YOU should be on. Those who would subdue you want you to “look at the big picture” so they can more easily convince you to let them screw you over.

People, this system has been in place in the USA since 2000, and has since been perfected. It has also been put in place globally in all 1st world countries and war-zones. This is a similar story to the computerized wire-tapping scandal…. By the time it is admitted, the system has already been running for years… I know this because I am a Systems Engineer and have observed the placement of secretive and major processing power into our grid for over a decade now. I have been locked out of my own data-center for a week only to find ominous server racks with tinted windows awaiting my return that I do not have root access to.

Good intentions? Pull the other one! Why not hop over to London when there’s an anti war demo going on. Some of the police will carry ridiculously huge orange video cameras. They make 100% sure you know you’re being filmed by pushing them right in your face. They tell you it’s for your own protection. Later they like to get riot gear on and guess how they’ll react when you try and film them! Sometimes at the end of a march they’ll kettle people into small groups then search everybody (they’ll tell you it’s in case you’re a terrorist). You’ll be forced to give your identity and home address or be arrested.
In most UK towns along the south coast you’ll find white police vans slowly driving round bristling with video cameras mounted on the roof. These cameras can track you as you go by! There’ll be a big sign on the side saying “Smile you’re on CCTV”. Sometimes a police CCTV van parks outside the entrance of my local supermarket. It just films everyone going in and out with their shopping. Everyone appears to accept this as normal now.
Of course there are hundreds of remote controlled cameras in our towns and along our roads but after a while you stop noticing these. What now feels really strange is the authorities seem to be rubbing it in that we are kept under surveillance and there’s nothing we can do about it!

The cameras have been in d/fw for a while and are getting worse.On the toll roads we have one on each lane coming and going,and if you look on llight poles near major merges ,where two high ways come together there are even more.In major areas where people congrigate,most of the buildings have cameras and are well lit at night.Big brother has us under the microscope and keeps poking us every chance he gets.

The cameras show intimidation certainly but it also shows how paranoid the government has become. They don’t serve the people anymore so they must keep them in check to protect themselves. People can be a mighty force and they know it and must protect their interests from rebellion while claiming it is for crime. The funny thing is the people pay for the cameras to spy on them but have no say as to their use. You can bet if there is a false flag on the film it will have malfunctioned.

Never get another traffic ticket
Why be angry and live in FEAR? All we have to do is claim our sovereignty, under common law none of the 60 million statutes and acts applies to us. There is only 1 law “have I injured another man” and if you have you have to answer to it. The Banksters have taken over America and since 1938 only Admiralty law is practiced in court as evidenced by the gold-fringed flag flying therein. Under this Law of Contracts you have given over your sovereignty by submitting (submission) applications (begging) for a marriage license, birth certificate, drivers license, car registration, etc. When you get a notice from your bank or a traffic ticket or any court document or license look at them. Your name is all in capital letters (signifying a corporation). That isn’t you. Seek information on the free man or sovereignty movement and become the governing power as we were intended to be.
