New Homeland Security memo lists black power, shaved-head Doc Marten wearers as ‘extremist threats’

It’s not just right-wing “radical” groups on the Department of Homeland Security’s black list anymore.
Another embarrassing Homeland Security memo (pdf here) detailing those the agency believes are extremists has leaked. The first was sent to police and warned of radical groups on the right; the second is sure to offend an even broader array of those involved in activism.
The memo, dated March 26, 2009, is titled “Domestic Extremism Lexicon,” and came after the original memo fingering right-wing groups as a threat.
Those now listed as dangerous extremists include: Mexican separatists, “black power” advocates, “racial Nordic mysticism” practitioners and black nationalists.
Homeland Security told The Daily Beast’s Benjamin Sarlin, who posted the Lexicon, that the memo had been recalled almost as soon as it had been sent out.

Notably, Sardin says the memo includes no mention of Muslim extremism.
Perhaps the most amusing item is the document’s loose definition of “skinhead,” which appears to encompass anyone who shaves their heads and wears Doc Martens. Even those skinheads who merely preach “group unity” are worrisome, the memo says.
Skinheads are “a subculture composed primarily of working-class, white youth who embrace shaved heads for males, substance abuse, and violence,” the Lexicon states. “Skinheads can be categorized as racist, antiracist, or ‘traditional,’ which emphasizes group unity based on fashion, music, and lifestyle rather than political ideology. Dress often includes a shaved head or very short hair, jeans, thin suspenders, combat boots or Doc Martens, and a bomber jacket.”
On the opposite side, the Lexicon explains “black power” as a troubling “term used by black separatists to describe their pride in and the perceived superiority of the black race.”
And “black nationalism”? “A term used by black separatists to promote the unification and separate identity of persons of black or African-American descent and who advocate the establishment of a separate nation within the United States.”
And what about racial Nordic mysticism, described as “an ideology adopted by many white supremacist prison gangs who embrace a Norse mythological religion, such as Odinism or Asatru.”
Even those on the right are sure to be displeased. The memo also identifies as a threat “anti-immigration extremism.”
Such extremism encompasses “a movement of groups or individuals who are vehemently opposed to illegal immigration, particularly along the U.S. Southwest border with Mexico, and who have been known to advocate or engage in criminal activity and plot acts of violence and terrorism to advance their extremist goals,” the memo says. “They are highly critical of the U.S. government’s response to illegal immigration and oppose government programs that are designed to extend ‘rights’ to illegal aliens, such as issuing driver’s licenses or national identification cards and providing in-state tuition, medical benefits, or public education.”

Maybe that’s because it’s beyond the scope of the document:

Apparently, definitions for Islamic extremist groups are pretty familiar within DHS or the authors either missed or ignored the document relating to those definitions.

Juval Aviv gave intelligence (via what he had gathered in Israel and the Middle East ) to the Bush Administration about 9/11 a month before it occurred. His report specifically said they would use planes as bombs and target high profile buildings and monuments. Congress has since hired him as a security consultant.
Now for his future predictions. He predicts the next terrorist attack on the U.S. will occur within the next few months.
Forget hijacking airplanes, because he says terrorists will NEVER try and hijack a plane again as they know the people onboard will never go down quietly again. Aviv believes our airport security is a joke — that we have been reactionary rather than proactive in developing strategies that are truly effective.
This looks to me like proof that Israel is behind a lot of evil in this world. 7/7, 911, gulf of Tonkin Etc..Etc..

Therefore: Unless you have tendencies or preferences toward violence, you are not considered extremist.

Why not circle every fourth word and ignore the rest. How many ciphers have you tried and what were the underlying messages? Or maybe you should record someone reading the document then play the recording backwards to hear the secret message, “Government is evil,” or “I buried Paul!”
Yes, changing the words does change the meaning of the document which is why overarching directives and definitions are so precise. Adding words where they didn’t exist or omitting others is a bizarre way to interpret literature.

I used to wear doc’s back in school.
I had a shaved head too, a lot of students at the school I went to thought I might be a skinhead. Or atleast that’s what they claimed. I think it’s just because I looked/dressed different. (the funny thing is, that they were the ones calling me names like white boy, cracker……..)
I don’t wear the boots anymore, but I do regularly shave my head fairly short. I just like the way it looks. I have since the time I was about thirteen.
Anyway,
this is obviously ridiculous, the nwo is grasping at straws.

This entire thing was rediculous. While the article again and again mentions violence as a motivating factor, it also states that those seeking to see political change are extremists, as it states MAY before all of these factors, EXCEPT wanting to see change.
I just hope that Odin will open the gates of Valhalla and let his Valkyries decimate the armies of evil and purge their existance from Ygdrassil… oh no, that’s advocating terrorism. OOPS!

SHARP’S = skin heads against racial prejudice, I lived in downtown sacto for a few years, they are the worst, they show up at clubs, bars,music, parties, pick someone out and gang bust on them 5 or more on 1. and they always had a knife or other weapon if they started to lose. They make up a variety of races, have shaved heads, doc martin’s and were worse than the actual skin heads who kind of vanished during the early to mid 90’s, most ended up getting married with jobs or went to jail. I at the time was a skate wino, Sacramento has a large skate board, johnny cash and rock a billy, party animal crowd.

Back in the late 80’s, I got a hold of a local police report on the growing gang problem in my fine city. There was a section on black gangs, Asian gangs, Latino gangs (that’s how it was titled), and then a section titled “White Youth Subculture”. After the pages on Neo-Nazi skinheads, Straight Edge, skate punks and goths (each described as gangs equivalent to Crips and Bloods), there was “The Metallica Gang”. The report professed that there was an actual street gang of metalheads roaming our fair city who were very likely on drugs and prone to violence, and was clearly evidenced by the numerous “Metallica” emblems spray painted around the city. As an 18 y.o. metalhead who had actually painted “Metallica” in a few select places around town, I was pretty sure I wasn’t in a violent street gang. Yet there it was in black and white on official government letterhead that my friends and I were a threat to the city.
While good for some laughs at the time, it also made me very suspicious of the classification of any group of people as a threat. I hope more of these reports come out. Many of the sheeple will only realize they are being hoodwinked when they personally are mischaracterized. Every person labeled a threat and treated as a threat will eventually become a threat.
