FLASHBACK: NO LAW MANDATES ANY FORCED VACCINE
As flu season approaches, many New Jersey parents are furious over a first-in-the-nation requirement that children get a flu shot in order to attend preschools and day-care centers. The decision should be the parents’, not the state’s, they contend.
Hundreds of parents and other activists rallied outside the New Jersey Statehouse on Thursday, decrying the policy and voicing support for a bill that would allow parents to opt out of mandatory vaccinations for their children.
“This is not an anti-vaccine rally — it’s a freedom of choice rally,” said one of the organizers, Louise Habakus. “This one-size-fits-all approach is really very anti-American.”
New Jersey’s policy was approved last December by the state’s Public Health Council and is taking effect this fall. Children from 6 months to 5 years old who attend a child-care center or preschool have until Dec. 31 to receive the flu vaccine, along with a pneumococcal vaccine.
The Health Council was acting on the recommendations of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which has depicted children under 5 as a group particularly in need of flu shots. But no other state has made the shots mandatory for children of any age.

“Vaccines not only protect the child being vaccinated but also the general community and the most vulnerable individuals within the community,” New Jersey’s Health Department said in a statement. It has depicted young children as “particularly efficient” in transmitting the flu to others.
Opposition to the policy is vehement. Assemblywoman Charlotte Vandervalk, one of the speakers at the rally, said she now has 34 co-sponsors for a bill that would allow for conscientious objections to mandatory vaccinations.
“The right to informed consent is so basic,” she said in an interview. “Parents have a right to decide for their own children what is injected in their bodies.”
State policy now allows for medical and religious exemptions to mandatory vaccinations, but Vandervalk said requests for medical exemptions often have been turned down by local health authorities. She said 19 other states allow conscientious exemptions like those envisioned in her bill.
New Jersey’s health department has come out strongly against the legislation.
“Broad exemptions to mandatory vaccination weaken the entire compliance and enforcement structure,” it said.
The department also contends that New Jersey is particularly vulnerable to vaccine-preventable diseases – with a high population density, a mobile population and many recently arrived immigrants.
“In light of New Jersey’s special traits, the highest number of children possible must receive vaccines to protect them and others,” the department said.
Several hundred people attended Thursday’s rally, some with signs reading, “Mommy knows best.”
Among the speakers was Robin Stavola of Colts Neck, N.J., who said her daughter, Holly, died in 2000 at age 5 less than two weeks after receiving eight different vaccines, including a booster shot.
“I am not against vaccines, but I do believe there are too many,” she told the crowd.

This may be a good forum to wake people up to the encroaching Big Brother police state.
They should also take the opportunity to give some facts on Flu vaccines, including the fact that they provide TEMPORARY immunity only if the virus resembles one of the strains in the vaccine. Some studies apparently show they provide NO immunity. There’s also the ever lovin dose of MERCURY that comes with each vaccine which helps facilitate the state sanctioned indocrination program of dumbing down the masses. Personally I had one flu shot ever and promptly developed the worst case of bronchitis I’ve ever had. I believe flu shots are a scam.

Thank god the free state of PA is next door. When it comes down to individual freedoms, NJ is a quasi-Nazi state with police everywhere. The gun laws are ridiculous, taxes are out of control, life sucking toll roads are everywhere, and now forced vaccines. 25 years ago this state actually was habitable…

If I was a parent of a young child in this state or any other state for that matter I would not send my child to these so called pre-schools (indoctrination) so they would not come under their crazy laws
I also would home school my child until they were old enough to think and act for themselves
This country needs to get a grip on itself and get rid of the CRAZY people who all think they no what is best for everyone else
After all this still is AMERICA ??

I think my ex wife has stockholm syndrom. After many years of her secretly working with the f.b.i and them using her too manipulate and try and retrieve information out of myself. After years of micromanaging our lives, even in the bedroom, they destroyed our marriage. We were victimized in ways I can not describe on this board and yet somehow I am the badguy who needs to be feared and mistreated? After what these people have done you would have to drag me out in the street and kill me before I would ever bow my knee and comply with you corrupt manipulative devils. As a matter of fact I wish you would martyr me! I am greatly looking forward too it.

Mmmm, Mercury (a known neuro-toxin) and dead protein cells. Sounds like good stuff to inject into the body of a young child who doesn’t have the immune system to fight the poison. I was NEVER vaccinated for anything until I joined the army at age 19. Then I got about 20 in 2 days! My 5 year old has never been vaccinated and I will FIGHT tooth and nail to prevent here from being vaccinated. My job as a parent is to protect her.

lol. i am a big fan of wwoof program. look that up. but my baby is only 11 months and how would i take care of him while working around a farm? i cant even count on my wife becouse she is addicted to ac and tv lifestyle wich is really starting to get on my nerves. but now with a baby everything is complicated

It’s mandatory for the HPV shot for all 7th grade girls in Nevada.(at least thats what the school says.) Funny how that coincides with them starting their cycles. If you wanted to sterilize the population what better chance would you have? Nope my 6th grader is finishing her last week in public school, homeschool starts next week. Can’t bus my kids away under martial law if they are with me. not while I’m still breathing.

It figures they would do this in NJ. That state is the most fascist of the fifty. The idiots in Trenton can’t even balance the freakin’ budget, now they want to inject some crap into all the babies and toddlers? WTF? Why don’t they force all the idiot NJ State Troopers and their kids to take the jab FIRST, then maybe the rest of the population will folow, if nothin’ “bad” happens to the Troopers and their kids.
