New York “Terror Plot” Another Government Provocateured Set-Up
Officials seize upon arrests with glee to propagandize for the police state and justify targeting American citizens in war on terror

The corporate media and the authorities are having a field day lavishing saturation coverage on the so-called New York “terror plot” in which four men, three of them U.S. citizens, supposedly planned to blow up a Jewish temple and shoot down military planes, feverishly citing it as another example of why we should accept police state measures in major cities and the targeting of American citizens as “domestic terrorists”.
The only problem with this premise, mirroring just about every other major terror plot and terror bust that we have ever studied, is that the men were radicalized and provocateured by an FBI informant, who provided the group with the fake weapons that led to their arrest.
Just as in every other case, the men will likely turn out to be semi-retarded dropouts who eagerly followed the fed’s lead in the pursuit of a promise of massive cash gifts and a way out of their miserable poverty-stricken lives. However, this won’t be reported with one iota of the gusto that the corporate media are pushing this story today.
What we already know for sure is that the men had been under FBI surveillance for nearly a year. The fact that it took the feds nearly 12 months to get the men to accept fake weapons in order for them to be charged with “conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction within the United States” is evidence in and of itself that this was a case of entrapment, which is only confirmed when we learn that, “The FBI and other agencies monitored the men and provided an inactive missile and inert C-4 to the informant for the defendants.”
Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., said that “the group was relatively unsophisticated, penetrated early and not connected to any outside group.”
Once again, the FBI identified a disparate group of men that shared the majority of the country’s opinion that the war on terror was wrong, radicalized them, offered them cash incentives for following the lead of the FBI informant and then finally, after a year, got them to accept fake weapons. As in every other case, Without the involvement of the FBI informant, there would have been no “terror plot” to speak of.
The feds cooked up a phony terror plot and pinned it on these poor suckers so that they could launch a new PR assault for the flagging war on terror and get Americans to submit to increased surveillance, bag searches and checkpoints that are now commonplace in New York City.
This whole PR stunt in another psychological trick designed to enlist public support for the wars in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq as well as a police state at home to deal with “domestic terrorists.” We learn that the suspects were upset about “Muslim people were being killed in Afghanistan and Pakistan by U.S. military forces,” according to officials, the implication being that anyone who opposes the “war on terror” is a potential terrorist themselves.

Officials have seized upon the arrests to propagandize for the police state with glee, as well as refocusing the apparatus of the war on terror to target U.S. citizens as “homegrown terrorists”.
“This latest attempt to attack our freedoms shows that the homeland security threats against New York City are sadly all too real and underscores why we must remain vigilant in our efforts to prevent terrorism,” New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said in a statement.
“This was a long, well-planned investigation, and it shows how real the threat is from homegrown terrorists,” said Rep. Peter King, of New York.
“The shocking plan to blow up a Jewish house of prayer with what the jihadist terrorists thought were C-4 explosives is dramatic proof that the dangers from such fanaticism have not passed and that American Jews must maintain their vigilance,” said a statement released by the infamous Simon Wiesenthal Center, which routinely cites the threat of federally-provocateured extremists as a reason to crush everyone’s free speech and virtually outlaw criticism of the government Israel and Zionist policies.
Of course it’s no coincidence that this arrives on the heels of widespread fury surrounding the MIAC report and other similar federal documents that equate gun owners, people knowledgeable about the Constitution and people who display political bumper stickers, with dangerous “domestic terrorists”. Officials have seized upon these arrests as a means of reinforcing the notion that “domestic terrorism” is a real threat when in reality we have never come across a “domestic terrorist” that didn’t have a fed standing behind him pulling the strings.
The last such major “domestic terror plot” in America involved a group out of Miami that supposedly planned to “wage a full ground war against the United States” and bomb the Sears Tower, but who actually turned out to be “a bunch of dipshits living in a warehouse,” as The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart described them.
As in every other case we have studied, the men turned out to be a semi-retarded street gang that were provocateured by FBI agents into spewing violent rhetoric yet barely had the capability to make a cheese sandwich, never mind bring down the tallest building in America. What they were interested in was a promise of $50,000 in cash from the government informants who were sent in to radicalize them and create a phony victory for the war on terror.
As the Miami New Times newspaper described it, the “ragtag group couldn’t wage a ground war on a jar of peppercorns.” The whole case descended into a farce as judges repeatedly declared a mistrial while the government tried to save face. After three trials, three juries and nearly three years, the government finally managed to convict the men despite there being “little concrete evidence of an evolving plot,” as in one that was not wholly provocateured by the FBI informant.
While you watch today’s incessant government fearmongering and celebration of their latest “terror bust,” recall how last time they pulled this stunt, and the reality of the “dipshits in a warehouse” farce unfolded, it blew up in their faces and only exposed the entire “war on terror” for what it really is – a manufactured hoax designed purely around enlisting support for bombing brown people in broken-backed third world countries while convincing Americans to accept their own enslavement at home.

Well, dont’s say Alex didn’t warn us on that this one was coming. I have been looking for it. The fact you have an FBI informant inside, should always make us leery of this being a set up False Flag black ops by our own government. I just don’t trust any of the FBI informants busts any more. Seen too many of them over time that are very, very, questionable. We need to ask for an investigation of the FBI informant before this goes to trail. We don’t want innocent people railroaded to jail by the corrupt in our FBI, and government. It took them 1 year to ask for demolition materials, that in itself is suspect. It is like it took a long time to talk them into getting those supplies. If a group is serious about bombing us, they would jump all over getting these materials asap, not wait for over a year. Come on FBI, we are not that stupid, we can see thru you scum.

C4, Ragnar Benson put out a book about making homemade C4 years ago, it’s hard for me to fathom actual terrorist not being able to properly make and test Symtex or C4. These are either the dumbest terrorist ever, or a false flag to build fear.

What’s really crazy is that I have to get my news out of the “Daily Show”, the New York Slimes, Prison Planet, and Yahoo and then interpret all of the bullshit. What’s really sad is that the Prison Planet, and Alex is not the greatest reporter in the world though I do believe vehemently that he is more passionate and honest in intent than any MSM, is one of the best sources out there in the US at least. Of course, it is also kind of strange, having grown up in the shadow of Russia being the “evil empire” that I also trust their news more than our own. What a strange world we live in today.

I can say as someone who is just waking up to the real implications of everything that is going on that I agree to an extent with the OP. One of the hallmarks of good reporting is the removal of the author from the article, and the articles on prisonplanet and the stories on the radio show are just dripping with all the passion and anger Alex and the other contributing authors have garnered over the years, despite all the alarming truths they report on. As a result, many articles I would otherwise link to people I know who are in the “know something is rotten in the state of Denmark but don’t know exactly what” camp, I keep to myself. There’s just too much insinuation and rhetoric to call it “news”.
Granted, it is hard to remain neutral (and perhaps that is the point, that it is impossible to be neutral on so serious a topic), but i think a less sensationalistic style would see these messages reach a far wider audience.
All that said, Alex is a huge asset to humanity and I’m very grateful for his courage over the years.

Jeremy, why not try linking the news articles he links to for giving to those people. After all, most of his articles come from MSM sources. Just put a little info in the link to point people in the direction you want them to follow. After a while, you can tell them you get these “msm” articles from here. Most people seem to be gravitating to this site anyway. Alex does get a pretty high rating on Youtube with his videos. Is it much of a stretch to think that his site isn’t hit by an equally large number of visitors as well?

Had you read the post correctly, which means critically, then you would have noted that I stated I had to interpret it all. This means extrapolating the bullshit from the rest. Amazingly enough, the New York Slimes is one of the least reputable. I like the daily show because he pokes fun of the politicians. more at the republicans than dems, but it’s also so hard not to do so. Alex isn’t, and by his own admission, the greatest reporter, but I do believe he makes a more honest effort than the MSM does at getting news. He is biased, of course, but all news is to an extent. However, I also read congressional bills as well. Reading all of these and using a brain makes for a fairly clear picture of what is going on in the world.

I remember the Miami thing with the guys who were supposedly threatening to blow up the Sears tower. That was soon before I was “awake” to all this and when I believed what the TV told me, but I remember being completely stunned at how crackerjack the whole case seemed to be from the press conference the FBI gave. They couldn’t answer any questions and when they unfolded the story it became clear that it was entrapment. This goes to show you how important it is to stick to your own guns and avoid anyone who wants to do anything crazy.

Amazing as well how many of these highjackers survived their suicide mission. What was it? five of them? And with 50 army paratrooper jumps and over 500 skydives as a civilian, I can tell you it is impossible for them to have survived jumping out of those planes. So many holes, so few answers. Is it any wonder no one believes the government stories? Also, an amazingly clean crash by the one that hit nothing. Apparantly, it just barely grazed it’s own crash site. Also, why would the government clean up the crash site at the pentagon so quickly were not something amiss in Denmark? Or the towers, for that matter? Not every terrorist plot is a “false flag”. They actually have been known to happen.
So far I haven’t seen anything that indicates the goverment flew planes into buildings on 9/11. Certainly they were complicit in how they reacted and many non-Constitutional things have happened since then. At most, they ignored the warnings, which is bad enough.
WTC7 dropping like that may have certainly been done purposely. So what. Not body count one on that building.
If Silverstein, the owner dropped WTC7, who cares? It was his building. Insurance fraud?

Public endangerment and murder charges would still apply for knowingly putting asbestos into the air, which would account for many respitory related deaths. Flu Outbreak Reveals DoD Plans, Gaps

WASHINGTON — The rapid spread of swine flu from Mexico surprised Pentagon officials who had been focused on a possible Asian-borne pandemic in a response plan that would give the military a last-resort role in helping to impose quarantines and border restrictions.
Drafted and overhauled several times in recent years, the military’s closely guarded plan for an influenza pandemic assumed that officials would have more time before the flu hit U.S. shores. The Associated Press obtained briefing documents about the military’s pandemic contingency plan.
The H1N1 flu outbreak set U.S. military commanders scrambling to monitor and protect troops based near the 2,000-mile (3,200-kilometer) Southern border and on ships nearby.
The virus spread quickly across the border into southern California, infecting at least 27 sailors on a ship docked at San Diego, California, four Marines at California’s Camp Pendleton and at least one Marine at Twentynine Palms, also in southern California. Several dozen Marines have been quarantined, and nearly two dozen other sailors had flu symptoms but so far have not been confirmed as having the H1N1 virus.
“We anticipated scientifically that we would have time to do different things,” said Amy Kircher, an epidemiologist with U.S. Northern Command’s surgeon general’s office. Northern Command oversees the country’s homeland defense, including coordination with Canada and Mexico.
While there are only a limited number of air and seaports that could provide U.S. entry for the virus from overseas, the military was faced with an almost limitless number of cars, trucks and pedestrians traveling across the easily accessible, expansive border with Mexico.
In an interview with The Associated Press, Kircher and several senior military officers from U.S. Northern Command said that since the H1N1 flu has been far less lethal than anticipated, it has allowed the military to stop far short of the worst-case scenarios that the Pentagon prepared for in its long-range planning.
In the event of a widespread pandemic, the Pentagon maintains standing plans to use the active duty military as a last-resort force to help law enforcers manage quarantines, limit state-to-state travel and restrict access to government buildings.
Those plans represent “the kinds of things that the lead federal agencies might ask us to do or that we might have to do on behalf of the Department of Defense for force protection,” said Air Force Brig. Gen. Tony Rock, who until recently was deputy director for operations at Northern Command.
Officials would turn to the military for those domestic duties, Rock said, only when other authorities had become overburdened and requested help.
The requests then must be evaluated and approved by top officials, such as the defense secretary or the president.
“Some of these are in extremis, and certainly wouldn’t be the first tasks we would do,” said Army Col. Curt Torrence, a key military planner for Northern Command. He added that they would be carried out only under catastrophic circumstances and in accordance with federal laws.
Northern Command briefing documents obtained by The Associated Press include explicit assumptions that intelligence oversight laws and the Posse Comitatus Act would remain in effect. Under that 1 1/2-century-old law, federal troops are prohibited from performing domestic law enforcement actions such as making arrests, seizing property or searching people.
In extreme cases, however, the president can invoke the Insurrection Act, also from the U.S. Civil War era, which allows the use of active-duty or National Guard troops for law enforcement.
Under the military’s pandemic plan, the principal goals are to defend the country, maintain the force and provide whatever support is needed to protect the national infrastructure and ensure that the government continues to function.
Rock, who recently was named commandant of the Air Command and Staff College at Maxwell Air Force Base, said states generally would turn first to police, border control officers and the National Guard under the governors’ command. Those public safety officials would be the first line of defense to stem the spread of the virus through travel restrictions at the borders and along state lines or outbreak areas.
The military, however, would be prepared to aid in establishing “mass casualty” treatment sites, provide shelter for displaced persons, dispose of dead bodies and help provide postal, power, water and sewer services and food deliveries. Troops also could provide logistics, communications and other support for law enforcement and the National Guard.
The Defense Department and Northern Command have refused to release details of their operational plan for pandemic influenza. Labeled “for official use only,” the plan lays out the active duty military’s six-phase response to an influenza outbreak.
In interviews, Pentagon officials repeatedly expressed concerns about alarming the public, stressing that the plan would unfold only in a crisis situation and under orders from the president.
The plan also includes measures by the Pentagon to protect its own, with the understanding that if U.S. armed services fall to the flu, it would be difficult to provide aid to those within the United States and defend the country in the event of a concurrent terror attack or other disaster.
Steps would be taken to immunize Soldiers, their families, retirees and civilian workers who support the military’s mission. And if needed, access in and out of military installations would be restricted.

Just Google ‘New York terror plot’ and every article describes the operation and how it worked. There was a switch, if there wasn’t a switch then there would no terrorists arrested and these guys would still be out there looking for weapons off someone.
The informant was working on the inside with these guys and supplied them dud weapons. They were then arrested when they tried to use them. It’s straight forward.

These cases are popping up all over the world. The liquid bombers in London come to mind. Same bloody thing – everyone’s charges are dropped. The media stops reporting after the initial arrests. If media coverage resumes on an individual’s trial (as in Canada) then you can rest assured that that man’s fate is sealed – no matter how flimsy a case – he’s going to jail.
What is amazing is that people soak this bile up. I regularly meet people who believe these stories when there are so many clear examples this being an obvious PR ploy.

I read the cnn story today on the UAE torture scandal that was basically saying Americans didn’t care if we sold nuclear power to them or not. I DID care about that story and wrote my congressman (fat bunch of good that ever does)..and I kept watching for it on the news…and watching…and watching….and…nothing. And the torture stuff in the US was covering it all up on any torture search.
And in that light, I read that cnn article and I thought wow, this is just pure bs propaganda.

The minute I saw congressman Peter King report the first finding of the fbi arrest, I knew it was fear propoganda 101 as usually.
