   We’re seeing this in all professions. Honest, forthright individuals with thoughts of their own are either fired or resign out of frustration with the blatant propaganda orders they are forced to follow. Freedom of the press? I used to read 5 newspapers daily. Now I get the news over the internet from selected sites where you can still find some truth. Newspapers,
   like TV and most radio, have been taken over by corporate fascism, which is obvious for all but the most mindless turnips to recognize. The mistake trolls like Murdoch are making is they underestimate the American people. Not everyone is brain-dead yet despite all the efforts at poisoning by New World Order
   cockroaches. The NeoCon Nazis are going to be blindsided by the same tidal wave the smug British were in our War for Independence. It’s called Truth and Justice, and they will prevail!
   LONG LIVE OUR BLOOD-BOUGHT FREE AMERICAN REPUBLIC!

   Twenty-two years writing for newspapers and I am of the same opinion, I want to find something else to do.

   Which is preferred…A republic with no newspapers, or one with bad ones? I prefer the former.

   And good riddance I would say. There was a time when journalists had ethics and tried to report the facts. Lately one could train a monkey to do the job since the only qualification needed is to read the text handed to you by the powers that be.

   It’s only going through the motions and being a nice propaganda tool for the Bush administration and it fascist corporate backers.

   Now where is that whiskey….

   Great White, Jay wrote his own copy. He was controversial, but he was honest – a good writer, and quite entertaining. It was no big deal that he had a beef with the White Sox – if you are in the profession for any amount of time you are bound to piss someone off. He was a good guy, and I have the feeling there is more going on than a four hour lag in getting his stories posted.
