Nine people – five of them militants – have reportedly been killed in a suspected US missile attack in northwestern Pakistan.
Pakistani officials said the target was a compound used by the Taliban in South Waziristan near the Afghan border.
It is believed at least four missiles were fired at the building, in the village of Sarorogha, by two pilotless US drone aircraft.
“We have reports of at least five militants killed in the missile attack,” said an intelligence spokesman. The same figure was given by the Taliban.
However, another intelligence official put the death toll at as high as 20, saying one of the missiles also hit a vehicle carrying militants.
The attack comes after Pakistan’s military chiefs asked for more hardware to help them fight the Taliban.

No, the hate that comes to us has nothing to do with Veils of Burkha’s (or little). It stems from the simple fact that we have been sticking our long, pointy nose into the middle east for 60 some odd years.
We topple a duly elected official (we being the CIA), and allowed the Shah in Iran to assume total control. During his reign of terror (the Shah’s…he being our good friend and ally) he murdered and brutally repressed anyone who spoke out against him.
We give arms and ammo to Israel (sticking our nose into the region)
We gave poison gas to Saddamn (sticking our nose into the region)
Again, and again, and again United State’s policies, bullets and bombs have killed people in the middle east. We, the outsider, are a target for this very simple fact.
Not because our women don’t wear veils.

Jason the arms “sold” to Israel is for her defence as the only democratic country in the ME we need to support freedom for democracy. the neighbouring countries, ie Egypt “receives”.. billions of US tax dollars. if you are Biblical in knowledge , Israel is the homeland of Jews. What is wrong in supporting a democratic country?

Democracy does NOT exist and the countries that call themselves “democratic” use this as a euphamism for inflicting terror on other countries. The USA and ALL its allies are the biggest terrorists in today’s world. Recon mentions the enemy; the enemy is those who curtail freedom of speech and implement draconian laws in the name of democracy. The enemy is within, not out there in some foreign land with a different culture.

Hi everyone, okay, we are in the here and now. History is important, but lets focus aon the present. If our religious fanatics in the United States(and there are plenty) were taking our women to the local soccer field and executing them for going to school, I would be happy if another country (an ally) came to our assistance and blew them up. In Afghanistan, besides oil, there is a legitimate human rights issue. Okay, i know, what about Darfur, again, Oil and human rights. So history lesson again, the psycho fuck Hitler wanted to kill all the jews, we and our allies stopped him. Israels neighbors want to destroy Israel, by us selling them weapons, again we helped stop the aggressor. Now, Iran/Iraq and all the dealings with them in my opinion was an episode of CIA gone wild, and yes I agree we should have kept our noses out of it. Since we are a large consumer of Middle Eastern oil, and the Middle East is such a large producer, we will always be connected to each other. Until we stop using oil as a resource. Geopolitics. Something people forget too, Israel is an ally. They have the means and the balls to come to our assistance some day should we ever need it once the pussies in DC hand over the keys to our house. Can’t say that about most countries we buy our oil from. The real enemy is our politicians standing in the way of weaning off oil, as long as they and their families will stay millionaires off their oil empires nothing will change. And they will use our sons and daughters to protect their investments. The Indians were right.
