“The puppet authorities had better bear in mind that the advanced preemptive strike of our own style will reduce everything … to debris, not just setting them on fire”, the North’s military said in a statement adding that “It will turn out to be a just war… to build an independent reunified state on it.”
Pyongyang also warned that its army would take “a resolute practical action” and a preemptive strike ‘beyond imagination’ in response to the leaflets.
“The advanced preemptive strike of our own style is based on a preemptive strike beyond imagination relying on striking means more powerful than a nuclear weapon.”

It is not the first time that North Korea complains over the leaflets, on Monday, Pyongyang threatened to suspend a key inter-Korean industrial project if South Korean civic groups do not stop launching leaflets into the North’s territory.
For years South Korean groups have been sending anti-Pyongyang leaflets–by balloons– to the North. In 2004 the Koreas agreed to end decades of propaganda warfare involving leaflets, radio broadcasts, and loudspeakers. However, South Korean activists continue to send anti-Pyongyang leaflets to the North.
