The Armed Forces Press Service has initiated a propaganda campaign designed to convince the American people that deploying the 3rd Infantry Division in the United States in violation of the Posse Comitatus Act is a good thing. The propaganda piece appeared on the Hinesville, Georgia, Coastal Courier’s website on December 26.

“The first active-duty unit dedicated to supporting U.S. civilian authorities in the event of a nuclear, biological or chemical attack recently wrapped up three days of intensive training its members hope they never have to apply in real life,” Donna Miles reports for the Armed Forces Press Service. “Soldiers from the 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team got hands-on training in skills they would depend on to provide humanitarian support during a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high-yield explosive incident, known here as a CBRNE.”
In order to portray the military as humanitarian saviors, the Armed Forces Press Service included a photo of a soldier wielding the “jaws of life” during an exercise that included “buddie teams” recently returned from Iraq’s Anbar province removing mannequins from the rubble of a collapsed building.

Earlier this month, Branson Hunter, writing for the Big Bear Observation Post blog, reported on the Marine Corps Air and Ground Combat Center and the California Highway Patrol working together “in a joint effort to reduce accidents and drinking and driving” in San Bernardino County, California, a direct violation of the Posse Comitatus Act (18 U.S.C. § 1385) passed on June 16, 1878. Infowars covered the story in-depth.
On October 1, 2008, the U.S. Army announced its 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team will be under the day-to-day control of the Northern Command, ostensibly “on call” to respond to emergencies and disasters. The recent exercise staged out of the Naval Support facility located at Indian Head, Maryland, is likely only the first of many such exercises that will receive media coverage in order to acclimate the American people to the high profile presence of soldiers on the streets under the control of Northcom.

Prior to this, in May, 2007, Northcom announced its Ardent Sentry-Northern Edge ‘07 (ASNE) exercise. “ASNE ‘07 is a significant event and includes several firsts, including the actual deployment of and cooperation between more than 3,000 state, local and federal responders with more than 2,000 active-duty troops in Indiana,” the Northcom website explained. “The exercise also features the first deployment of the CCMRF, and DSCA cooperation between USNORTHCOM, deployed units, local, state and federal responders and reflects the successful evolution of interagency support and response which has been developing since the formation of the command in 2002.”
Last month, Defense Secretary Robert Gates added yet another dimension to this incremental domestic militarization when he ordered the Pentagon “to conduct a broad review to determine whether the military, National Guard and Reserve can adequately deal with domestic disasters and whether they have the training and equipment to defend the homeland,” according to the Associated Press. According to a report issued by the Commission on the National Guard and Reserves, the Pentagon “must use the nation’s citizen soldiers to create an operational force that would be fully trained, equipped and ready to defend the nation, respond to crises and supplement the active duty troops in combat.”
Gates’ review and the deployment of the battle-hardened 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team under Northcom control for “domestic operations” follows the passage of the Defense Authorization Act of 2006 and the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007. Section 1076 of the Warner bill changed the name of the key provision in the statute book from “Insurrection Act” to “Enforcement of the Laws to Restore Public Order Act.” The Insurrection Act of 1807 stated that the president could deploy troops within the United States only “to suppress, in a State, any insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracy.” The new law expands the list to include “natural disaster, epidemic, or other serious public health emergency, terrorist attack or incident, or other condition,” the latter not defined or limited.
As Jeff Stein, CQ National Security editor, wrote at the time, the Warner bill “virtually invites the White House to declare federal martial law, a fact noted by Sen. Patrick J. Leahy, D-Vt. “The changes to the Insurrection Act will allow the President to use the military, including the National Guard, to carry out law enforcement activities without the consent of a governor,” Leahy said.
The “exercise” in Maryland is not only designed to acclimate the American people to the prospect of martial law and the presence of troops on the streets, but is also designed to condition the troops to believe their mission includes domestic “humanitarian” operations. “I can’t think of a more noble mission than saving American lives at home,” Col. Roger Cloutier, who commands the 1st Brigade “Raiders,” told the Armed Forces Press Service. “Every single soldier and Marine here takes this very personally. You can see it on the faces of my soldiers.”
Unfortunately, it would appear the soldiers under the command of Col. Cloutier are ignorant of the fact that the founders were steadfastly opposed to standing armies under the command of an expanded executive. “A standing military force, with an overgrown Executive will not long be safe companions to liberty,” wrote James Madison. “The means of defense against foreign danger, have been always the instruments of tyranny at home. Among the Romans it was a standing maxim to excite a war, whenever a revolt was apprehended. Throughout all Europe, the armies kept up under the pretext of defending, have enslaved the people.”

In it, the entire article went over their “non-lethal” riot control and other training techniques. Only a blurb at the end of article went to “correct” the entire article’s slant. This article only made a few public appearances in media. And none in the mainstream media.
A strong National Guard, under state control, is all that is really needed for any civil unrest. But that model has been destroyed by the neo-cons. At least on paper. In my opinion, and it counts for little in this world, any soldier who follows an unlawful order to use these techniques on American citizens is aiding and abetting treason. And people wonder why we Americans want guns.

I have friends and family in both law enforcement and in the military. In some instances they are law enforcement in their daily jobs and members of the guard or reserves. The distinction between their jobs as civilian law enforcement and military soldiers has been deliberately lost – and they often times need reminded of the distinction between the two.
In my home state, the national guard was a bit of a joke (I really mean no offense by this, guard members pre 9/11 would generally agree). They were mostly made up of medical units and artillery units. The medical guys would look for lost hunters and hikers but nothing else. The artillery units would practice live fire only once in a while. A bulk of their time was spent sitting around, watching military training films and camping outside. That has all changed in the last few years. If I understand correctly, all national guard members in Wyoming will have been run through Iraq / Afgahnistan by the end of 2011. They are not practicing medicine or working artillery – they are urban combat troops conducting house to house searches. There is no reason for Wyoming troops to be trained in urban warfare unless it is for disarmament either here or in other states.
I have read many articles and posts as to whether U.S. military troops would be willing to fire upon armed/unarmed citizens. (Referred to as question #46). I often wonder how many U.S. citizens will really be willing to pick a fire fight with the hundreds of thousands of now-trained combat troops? I guess only time will tell…

acclimate. In order for us to be acclimated, that would mean we would need to be conditioned over time ,to being pulled over not just by cops, but by super cops. still though, I bet they get a lot of false terrorist positives from nervous people.

No offense #10 but you suggest that, “WE HAVE TO BE READY!” Ready for what? Are you suggesting that the average shotgun hunter or legal (pop-gun) gun owner should take on the police or SWAT or the military with their what amount to “pop guns”??? For instance the military has night vision and 50 cal sniper rifles. Should you go up against them (armed SWAT or Military) you will not even hear or see the bullet coming. If you get the idea to take on a squad bearing fully automatic weapons, grenades, rockets and the like it is you that will be made into a greasy spot.
For those that don’t think the military will engage the population when the time arrives I doubt you understand the military mind or for that matter what happens when one armed group faces another. We must remember that the military operates under the concept of “KILL OR BE KILLED” or “KILL EM ALL AND LET GOD SORT THEM OUT” If your not in the military then you are simply in the way. Violence only breeds more violence by the way so the solution to all of this is passive resistance. THE US GOVERNMENT IS A FOREIGN CORPORATION. that operates in the ten square miles in Washington D.C. , and is controlled by the United Nations, and the US citizens are the enemy of the state. Northcom is using US troops to acclimate and condition the troops and the US citizens for future martial law. These troops are only being used for the set up because they know when the time comes, most US troops will refuse to take actions against US citizens. My post was not addressed to you however yes the only possible outcome of fighting the military (revolution) will be massive causalities. In truth passive resistance is the only possible alternative to certain death. Passive resistance like a tax revolt and or a general strike and or quitting our jobs in mass will have a different outcome than a direct fight. It is you that is the “Dam fool” for even suggesting that we should submit to tyranny. We of course should never do that but by non violent means.

So the outcome will be camps like that of the “Great Depression” though this time more massive. As far as payroll deductions are concerned you simply file a new W-2 statement with more deductions or simply insist on a 1099 and stop filing. Last night my home was held against our will as we were asked to submit to a body and weapons search. Both my lady friend and I declined after giving our names. They stopped only after the one officer restricted my friend from using the bathroom. The officer did lay hands on my freind as we were kept apart while their “investigation” continued. If we did’nt protest this would have turned out way different. You give them an inch and they’ll take a mile. Had I known they touched my freind you can be god-damn sure it would have been different. My friend later said, “never again”. I’ve already made my resolve to stand against all tyranny with all force necessary.

I agree with #15. Going head to head with the military is frankley a stupid idea. I’ve been
in the army I’ve seen extremly well armed and trained non friendlies try to stand up to our military and it was a big waste of time… and life. The fire power our military has is pretty much unstopable. I feel alot of people are unrealistic about this. they think as long as everyone stands up and picks up a gun they will easily take there country back. The guns that are availible to citizens are spit wads. People on here should really be realistic about
that.
Revolution can only be achieved by cutting of the source that feeds the machine.

You can do this in front of your home or a friend’s home wherever you can get into a high traffic area, maybe even a temporary roadside setup, but be ready to scoot before the cops arrive as we all know they hate the truth as well.

Colt45, Personally I agree with you when you say that most of these idiots would be just filling body bags, but that doesn’t mean armed resistance is futile. In case you don’t remember, most of the airplanes shot down in Vietnam were from the random fire from just about anything that would shoot. True, they weren’t F-16s or these stealth fighters, but the Hind helicopters in Afghanistan didn’t have much luck against rocks either. I know, they took a lot of casualties, but it was all they had. And that it was overstated as to it’s effectiveness. And whether it is a .50 cal or a pellet gun, whatever kills you works about the same. Though the .50 is a bit messier.
Weapons are things you acquire, if you don’t have the type you want for a particular job. While standing up toe to toe like some crazy Rambo will get you killed, there are ways to fight back effectively. As Sun Tzu said, you should always strike where the enemy isn’t. After all, not every single target can be guarded. With just some common sense, and luck and balls, superior weaponry can be overcome. Look back to the Battle of San Jacinto, when Sam Houston took 400 men and attacked over 2,000. On top of that, he had trained these men while in a 40 day retreat.
Also, if you remember the two psychos who were terrifying a tri-state region a few years ago by their random sniper shots, albeit nothing spectacular in either skill, weaponry, or morals; it was still two people that were quite successful in paralyzing a nation with fear. With proper planning, one person could take down the entire country. Not that I think it an acceptable plan unless we were under an obvious, and that means even the dumbest American would realize it, threat of attack. Of course, that would require an attack far less sophisticated than anything that would transpire. But these are examples of successful use of inferior weapons, skills, and even brains over well-trained and seasoned experts in their fields.
Personally, I spent the last year of my service with the 101st, and they really sucked when I was in. Friends of mine from a few years ago, about 5 years actually, told me they hadn’t really improved any either. I can’t imagine the best we have being deployed here in the states. Those people are too intelligent to buy into any firing on U.S. citizens. It will take a bunch of thugs, like the 101 that I knew, to find that sort of mentality.
As far as passive resistance, that time has passed. We are a nation of sheep, to include most of the people who claim to be fed up with what passes for government anymore. We didn’t stand up when Waco happened. We didn’t stand up when Ruby Ridge happened. We didn’t stand up when the Iran/Contra scandal was uncovered. Clearly you are insane! Show me where it is that I told everyone to “Lay Down” on this thread! I said that it would be unwise to “slug it out” with the military or police. I believe that violence begot violence and that stooping to violence plays directly into the whole global depopulation plan. The average person out there is by %% points is in fact a woman. There happen to be more women than men. From what I see in my area is that there is a sea of immigrants from all over the place. Most have no interest in any sort of fight with the government since they are simply happy to be here in the land of opportunity. Of all of these various people I wonder how it is that they got drivers licenses let alone can even communicate? So you want to slug it out and who is on your team? Why are so many here taking this all the way to the end when we are essentially at the beginning? Why not plan a National Citizens Strike and illicit the support of our GIs and Police so that the massive power in the hands of a few can be properly distributed again? You do realize that your talking from FEAR and while it is good to ponder what your opponent’s tactics might be it is not good to jump to the end. 9\11 the truth finally comes out!! The U.S. Government had nothing to do with the collapse of the world trade centers it has come to my attention the truth that really happened.
The WTC were vacuum sealed pumping O2 in the air conditioning system when the Airplanes hit the towers this caused a fire which melted the protective coating of the electric wires the electric current combined with the electrical current produced HHO ( Hydregen) gas this gas built up in each compartment until enough built up and caused explosions on each floor from the fire source down to the basement which caused the towers to collapse and steal to melt.
Building 7 collapsed because the Hydrogen gas was pushed into it through underground tunnels that accesses the building for use in case of an attack, the pressure built and resulted in the collapse of building 7.

I’m not so sure that going up against a squad with nightvision and super-duper bells and whistles won’t work. The people in Iraq make it work often. In Afghanistan they have choked off the roads and throttled the supplies and pick off their enemies and foreign invaders little by little and very steadily. In Vietnam, the foreign invaders were afraid to go out at night. it could happen here. There are those in the US military who will willingly kill Americans just like they kill civilians 12,000 miles from home today. In Iraq they have figured out how to flip a 70-ton tank like a McDonald’s burger. Oppressors will back off if they think there is nothing in it for them.

So many people here talking about violent resistance yet nobody is doing it. We all agree that the time to act is now. If you want to start shooting these harbingers of marshall law then why hasn’t anybody done it yet? We need to stop with the bullshit infighting, peacefully protest, boycott, strike, etc., and when the time comes defend ourselves. Stop flexing unless you’re going to use muscle.

Convoys are often times traps, ammo may have rounds with symtex in them instead of powder, that trick was used in Viet Nam, use that and leave your face behind. Food may be tainted or RFID plants in supplys, boots weapons ect, Convoys often have gun ships close at hand, creats a no place to hide issue, House’s, Barn’s, or industrial buildings are traps, can leave you with no way out
Helacopter fly overs may detect you by infered Flair system, can detect 1000th of a degree difference in surface or area temps, a lot have sound trackers that tells them where the shots were fired from, same as police cars in some states have this and some military humvees, as well have this. those who pick fights should be careful with whom they fight.
I think out of site out of mind is the best, and just disappear, is the safest, the woods and the mountains will be a busy place when TSHTF, have a wait and see option, if ones left, get your teath and health issues fixed asap

Colt 45 I hate to tell you but as good a idea as your “tax revolt” is, it simply won’t work. I am sad that you don’t know this already for this tells me that you don’t know a whole lot about how the power structure works. The “tax revolt” you speak of will not work b/c the fed and congress together can print money anytime they please. Look at the bailout, did that money come from our income taxes? I think not? Anyways someone should have informed you of this by now. You have a bit more learning/reading to do before you know what you are talking about. Sorry that is just a fact. The book “Operation Vampire Killer” provided an analysis of how armed citizens and knowledgeable police could deal with such a situation. The problem is that when it was written, it was for urban trained police officers and civilians in their own neighborhoods and towns systematically engaging troops trained to fight a tank/helicopter/nuke war in Europe. It NEVER envisioned that troops (foreign or domestic) would be so well trained and proven in house to house combat. A distinct situation today….

Colt45, I don’t want an armed revolt. I was merely pointing out that it wasn’t impossible to do because of weaponry, it is impossible to do because there isn’t enough widespread discontent. At least not yet. For it to be effective, we would have to have had those conditions I mentioned earlier for it to be acceptable to the American people as a whole.As for paying taxes, I haven’t done that in years. It would be unpatriotic to fund a terrorist state as ours has become.
What is the answer? Good question, and I don’t know the answer. But, I do know it would have to be something that was FOR something, instead of AGAINST something. I am sticking with the small things at the moment. I participate in the Obama web site discussion forums, though I know it isn’t a true discussion forum. There I push my agenda of ending the drug war. I also bring up ending the federal reserve system every chance I get on the site. It isn’t much, but it is something. I also write my blog, and it seems to influence people. Hopefully, it will influence someone, someday, who does know what the answer is to that question.
The internet itself is a revolution. All of this “noise” and “chaos” is, is the beginning of an awakening in our society that will bring about the change on an individual level. There are many people who are in government, that do believe in what they do, and their individual actions multiplied by the millions of others who do their little part to effect change, might be the answer we are looking for in our quest for Truth, Liberty, and Justice for All. In fact, I think that my attempt to answer your question has just given me my next post. Thanks, Jim

In addition, weapons, equipment and tactics have changed significantly in the last 20 years. Improvements in night vision, IR, listening devises, cashless society, body armor, vehicle protection, “non-lethal” weapons, etc. have tipped the scales against the average citizen, unless enough military personnel are willing to pick the right side of the fight.

The posters here want to start shooting at you soldiers and cops. So, when one of these idiots starts firing his 12g at you and your fellow rangers I guess you are going to throw down your gun and take one for the team?? If you were shooting at me and I was armed and you missed I would endeavor to not miss you.
You have not grasped the magnitude of what so many of these people are inciting on this thread. If US military forces are called to keep the peace these citizens intend to blow you fellow Americans away. I explained to several of them that slugging it out with the military would be Americans (crazy ones) fighting Americans (trained hardened soldiers). I suggested that a better approach would be to actually hold massive protests and other examples like a National Labor Strike, a Tax Revolt, a General Strike, peace marches, etc.
For my efforts posters here would further incite violence between the military, police and armed civilians. I was told that, “It will not work!” General Strikes actually do work and get the attention of the parasitic government. The main point is that none of these posters is going to “DO ANYTHING AT ALL” except inciting violence in others. If you believe that the government is corrupt so be it but the military is not the source of the problem. The politicians however and their business friends are!
Strike at their pockets by doing things like bartering, giving, growing and not participating in their criminal enterprises. If we are all going to be out of work and in a depression then simply make that all happen faster and sink the broken system. We can do it our way and be in control or be out of control as they do it their way! If millions of citizens start marches as per the Constitution that is passive resistance. If all of the remaining labor strikes then that is passive resistance. If numerous citizens decide that they will no longer support war through a Tax Revolt the government will be DEFUNDED!
It is true that the Gov can print money at will but it will do no good since the PEOPLE will be in a GENERAL STRIKE and a TAX REVOLT. The nation would STOP and the issue would like cream rise to the top rapidly. Naturally the Agent Provocateur types want to stir the pot to further divide the nation. There are hundreds of millions of PEOPLE but very few politicians.
Believe what you like but there has not even been any legitimate large scale protest action since Bush became Prez. It is the PEOPLE that must get past their FEAR and assemble in MASS to list their grievances. If none of these legal and passive means yield any satisfaction then the PEOPLE might find it necessary to shake the tree of liberty. You can’t actually want to shoot American soldiers and cops but if you do like I said they will put you down and hard. Several here want to skip the rally of the population and go directly to a “New Revolution” but that can’t work since your Revolutionary Army consists of a few keyboard commandos who are so stupid that they think shooting US military and threatening to shoot seated representatives “Is A Fine Idea!”

Patrick, there are only a few out there that see this thing that way. I’m with you brother. I have had too many things happen to me to shrug off Christ. I should be dead so many times. I will fight if cornered. I just think the lock -n-load thing is suicide. I don’t think the true beleivers will be here long after this stuff happens anyway.
There are many here that identify with and understand the NWO and that they intend to enslave/kill us. But most can’t deal with the prophesy part of the story. There’s some good people here but many will deny what your saying right up to the part where they have to choose between the mark on their hand or loosing their head. What you are doing is thumbing and beating on the old ragged drum that some presidents said whatever about posse-comitatus, something that will sound obscure or irrelevant to most people on the ground. What are the changes you will win “because long dead presidents warned about posse comitatus” ?
Don`t you see the tremendous strategic opportunity that the criminal elites are throwing right in your face ? I guess they are counting on you not exploiting it, so they can.
What is happening: they are apparently softening up the troops to the humanitarian idea that policing in the USA is “good for the USA public”

Befriend the 3rd infantry division, send them postcards if you like. Tell them how you like the idea that now they are not at war killing innocent Iraqis, but helping the USA public. The criminals may at one point try to turn the military against the public. If you antagonize the 3rd infantry division, guess what that will do ? You will get the antagonism right back in your face, probably in the form of a bullit ripping through your upper lip, exiting through your right ear, or whatever. What is the chance to win on the basis of antagonistics with 3rd infantry ? Do you people EVER evaluate your strategy ? No, didn`t think so either. If it won`t be the army that bites you, it will be the military police that will. Don`t you get it. If it comes to it, you need as much support for pro-people, anti-death camps as you can get. So befriend the 3rd infantry, and befriend what can still be befriended in the police.
That way you play hand-in-glove with what is a problem for the criminal elite at the momen. They have the problem of first making troops think they are doing good things in the USA, while eventually they will want to use these troop to do evil things. That switch they want to bring about through fighting a home-grown insurrection, and then brainwashing the soldiers into thinking much of USA public has become the enemy of the other half of the USA public.
I don`t think you will be able to defeat based on posse-comitatus, aren`t the troop already there, haven`t you already lost that battle ? Then stop harping on that lost battleground, and find one that still leads to VICTORY.
If much of 3rd infantry is befriended, and isn`t “doing good” “doing good” ? Isn`t “cutting out people from wreckt in principle a good thing” ? If you at least also play that angle heavily, even when you could still try to win based on posse comitatus with THE COURTS which is where you`d fight that battle, or politics where you might win, then there is so much more changes many infantry units will refuse evil orders, and/or decide to fight for justice rather then criminal dictatorship & the potential death camps. I`m not saying to plead defeat on posse comitatus, but try to exploit the problems of the enemy for all the are worth. That enemy is high up in the chain of command, so exploit that and BEFRIEND THE TROOPS. They are usually not to blame, aren`t they often the worst victims of it all ? I`m not saying to lie to the soldiers to play friends while hating them. Already try to win them for a pro-peoples resistence now that the enemy is in this ideologically weak spot. What you`d be saying is “yeah, it is good to help people, and it would also be good to fight a domestic dictatorship like Hitler, wouldn`t it, fight for the American people on the home soil ! resisting evil orders and if need be let life for justice at home then greed of corporations abroad !” Would leave the criminals somewhat stunned, as this is now their line also. Then when evil will try to turn the troops it will be harder, and they risk insurrection by 3rd infantry on honorable causes.
Then when the time comes, we have more friends where we need them most, that is on the big guns, in control of camps, etc etc.
Try to exploit the problems of the enemy for all that its worth … Find out who 3rd infantry is, and rally them about real justice & civil liberties in the USA ! This is still the american dream right now, so bolster that, harden that in their minds. Befriend them too. It should pay off at least to some degree, and it is the truth, it isn`t lying. They fight for us, we for them, and together we defeat the evil criminals in politics & banking and high industry …
Buy a postcard ? Could this work ? Is it worth a try ? Is doing nothing superior, potentially alienating the troops making them easier prey for the “higher ups” ? Isn`t posse commitatus already shot through ? How will some lone troops agreeing to posse commitatus be able to help the situation at all right now ? If they lay down their weapons, that wouldn`t help either, as they would become powerless in the face of potential state tyranny.

I think deurotelle (#85) is spot on.
Why can’t we envision a way to wake those poor brainwashed troops up so that when they are given these horrendous orders they will refuse to implement them and maybe even decide to revolt against the greedy people issuing these orders in the first place?
Aren’t soldiers the sons/daughters/spouses/parents of the citizens? They will only kill their brethren if they are made to believe some perposterous lie.
We should focus on encouraging a mililtary strike/awakening of some sort. To all you wise Veterans out there, would that not be possible?

Thanks, and apologies for my insults, have to work on that.
I was thinking along these lines:
- First of all make sure we are not lying, we must not simply do this as a military strategy. People with no sympathy for troops for whatever reason shouldn`t partake.
- We (I keep saying we though I`m in Holland, but this is a global battlefront IMHO), we should try not to be superficial, and really let the military people feel we mean solidarity, especially with those troops that are loyal to civil liberties. So that can mean all kinds of real help. It can be tricky, because to do this all of a sudden, wouldn`t they feel betrayed “now all of a sudden they have something to lose, or to fear, they suddenly help us? ” But that will be diminished because of strong past support for “the troops” so that won`t be too cheesy hopefully.
- The goal is really “befriend with the truth & justice,” befriending personally is a side issue. We can make post-cards with the American flag, and superimposed the great civil liberties that make America “worth fighting for, at home & abroad” such as “freedom to go anywhere” or “free speech” or “judge by fair trial based on law, civil court, representation with lawyars” and so on. The very things the military has been duped at fighting for in Iraq/Afghanistan, but now it could actually be real.
- I don`t think a too heavy dose of “if you don`t, well shoot you” will work well, as this is antagonsitic.
We would also be looking for second-stage “honorable insurrection,” that is insurrection once the dictatorship is already going on for some time, and people & troops are starting to notice this is not right. At that point reality would have superceded all lies, so that is a strategic point in the potential development that could be exploited. Later we either get revolution, or acceptence of the new status-quo, and that would be somewhat of a defeat at that point. So at that second point we probably should commit all-out. If we commit in the beginning “all out,” we may play in their hands if numbers are too small. If numbers are enough, we could get them at their initial attempt, so we should try that too but the risk is they will play it and round up our bravest people.
Difficult however way.
Even: sending post-cards like this and so on & so forth, maybe best not to leave fingerprints on them, however well meant ? One never knows whether they`ll make a database etc. This is way paranoid, but …
By the way, if you look at AJ in video, he has a good repore with troops & police if he`s talking to them. I figure this is going to get difficult if we are unlucky, there might not be an easy solution if there are too many troops/police willing to execute bad orders (or who remain out of the loop, which is what the nazis did with the jewish death camps).

The very disturbing part of this initiative is wondering if active duty military troops would actually turn on american citizens. Confronted with a well-armed “militia” will u.s troops engage and and kill american citizens protecting their families and property in a government sponsored military coup designed to enslave citizens? I want to believe that all this is bs but I cannot any longer. It has strained relationships, etc.,. I cannot let it go. How long will it take to get to the truth? It saddens me. Pray for truth. Be kind. Embrace all good things in your life. We will not go quietly.

… to develop this “befriend 3rd troops to civil liberties” some more:
- Keep the text on postcards *short* 1 item “Why USA is worth fighting for at home and abroad … A speedy trial” Stop. Don`t bore troops out of their mind by quoting an entire Constitutional amendment. “A speedy trial” Then the troops will say the themselves “yeah, *I* would want a speedy trial” … “I deserve a speedy trial” … “We are fighting for speedy trials” … “this is good & honorable, a speedy trial” … … “whomever doesn`t give a speedy trial is an enemy of America, and my enemy”.
Other themes: “America is worth fighting for at home and abroad …
- “free speech”
- “no torture”
- … etc etc
You can then make a series of it, which the troops could collect if they want to. This may spark some debate between troops: “hey XX, why do you collect these cheesy postcards” “well isn`t this right ? they are a bit cheesy, but I like what they are saying …” whatever, if they talk about civil liberties, that is plus. This could later indicate what troops can not be trusted also.
The postcards could have the USA flag in all kinds of colors besides blue & red, this as a preparation for later carving up USA into multiple sovereign American “brother/sister nations,” each could potentially have a USA federal flag in a different color. Could maintain 50 start/stripes, which is also a feature in a potentially Constitutional upgrade for the USA ( http://www.jhwh.be/law )

Man, you guys revel in this us vs them scenarios. Yes, there will be U.S. soldiers (both men and women) who dutifully obey their masters and kill innocent Americans…IF that happens here in America.
And you would likely see portions of the ‘us’ side migrate over to the ‘them’ side in order to save their asses. IE, citizens joining the military for the sole purpose of killing other citizens.
But, you will also most definitely see the ‘them’ side migrate over to ‘us’, and help innocent Americans protect themselves.
Simply put, a large portion of the military would resist their commanding officers and turn on their military brainwashed murderous ‘buddies’ who have decided that its OK to round up citizens for camps, or shoot them dead.
Do you realize the number of high-ranking military personnel who have vehemently bucked the system, and mocked in disgrace what Bush is attempting to do? No, if the military as a whole is told to turn on us for the purpose of rounding us up and killing us, there WILL be large numbers of defectors who bring with them their experience AND their cache of ‘big ass guns’ and weaponry.
For those of you here that believe in passive resistance…do you realize what in Gods name you are saying? All I can say is that I hope when Jesus does ever happen to show up (which in itself is a bunch of bullshit), he brings a shitload of weapons with him.

Well Mike in Michigan, you are living in a fantasy land. The word of God doesn’t seem to stop bullets now does it. Have you ever read some of the stories of Christian/Catholic missionaries who righteously, at least in their minds, ‘invade’ other counties, spreading their ‘word of God’ to unsuspecting natives. Guess what usually happened to those missionaries? Well, in countries that breed cannibals, they were eaten. Jesus is not going to ‘pop’ out of thin air, rattle off some ‘words of God’, and make everything OK. Faith is a horribly viscous concept. And I would, on ANY given day, put faith in my fellow man before I would put that same faith in Jesus suddenly appearing and saving us good little children.
Mike, go use your energy and ‘word of God’ to stop innocent Iraqi’s from being slaughtered by United States bombs. Put your ‘word of God’ to stop the use of fluoride in our water, pesticides in our food, pollution in our air, chemtrails, genetically modified foods, mercury in vaccines.

If someone wants to believe that their God is going to save them, what gives another person the right to tell them to shut up about it?? I really don’t understand. We are trying to find solutions here and we won’t get anywhere if we spend our time disagreeing. I say put your differences aside, accept the other person’s point of view and try to be constructive.
I think that like me, most people would want to avoid conflict, so let’s start by giving the example.

You are right InherentGood. And Mike in Michigan, I apologize for trying to disparage your beliefs…its not my, nor anyone else for that matter, place to do so.
But I did so because I have experienced how faith in Jesus or God can waste away opportunity and change and self-reliance a person could have received, if only their faith in God was a little less restrictive.
As all of you surely know, people, across the world, in different points in time, have allowed themselves to be slaughtered by thugs, all because these people refused to fight or defend themselves in the hope and belief that Jesus would save them.
And that is why I rally against the use of faith in times like these. I hate to believe it, and sometimes I tell myself that it couldn’t happen, but there is a very good chance that our military could turn on us, and they could follow orders to shoot to kill, or gather us up, if there is social unrest, and herd us into detainment camps in order to “protect us.”
