SUMMARY LIST OF ORDERS WE WILL NOT OBEY:
1. We will NOT obey orders to disarm the American people.
2. We will NOT obey orders to conduct warrantless searches of the American people
3. We will NOT obey orders to detain American citizens as unlawful enemy combatants or to subject them to military tribunal.
4. We will NOT obey orders to impose martial law or a state of emergency on a state.
5. We will NOT obey orders to invade and subjugate any state that asserts its sovereignty.
6. We will NOT obey any order to blockade American cities, thus turning them into giant concentration camps.
7. We will NOT obey any order to force American citizens into any form of detention camps under any pretext.
8. We will NOT obey orders to assist or support the use of any foreign troops on U.S. soil against the American people to keep the peace or to maintain control.
9. We will NOT obey any orders to confiscate the property of the American people, including food and other essential supplies.
10.We will NOT obey any orders which infringe on the right of the people to free speech, to peaceably assemble, and to petition their government for a redress of grievances.

Are you fucken joking me? This is the most critical story on this sight right now and not a single one of you has posted a comment! These are the people that will be on our side, that will train us, that will help us fight this war that is comming! These are the men, women, squads, battalions, regiments, armies, that will have the guns, weaponry, planes, tanks, missiles, and equipment that will keep our cause from being slaughtered!

Cpt_Invictus – I AGREE. I had no idea that the Oath Keepers existed until today. This renewed my hope in people, and in a positive outcome of the fight we may all be involved in soon. Yes, we can win, but only if EVERYONE works together and does what they know is right. Good for you, Oath Keepers! Protect our constitution! Bless you!

I have sent this site to my entire mailing list. I have been praying for such a group to emerge that would defend our freedoms. Thank God our founding fathers was willing to both have their own blood spilled and to spill that of the oppressors in order to gain our freedom. Obama’s army of civilian soldiers, committed to obey Obama’s commands will no doubt act to disarm Americans. I am 71 in a couple of months, a veteran and perhaps too old to join your forces – but I can and will personally resist all orders to surrender my guns and will use them, if need be, to defend my home against unlawful searches and seizures. I will help you anyway I can, but I cannot be at the meeting in Mass. I wish you every success.

Good thing we have these people that will honor their oath so that they can counter the 7 million man youth brigade that Obama’s is activating on 9-11-09. The 7 Million man youth brigade will not swear on oath and it will loop hole the Posi Comitatus Act. I am A US Army vet. BIG RED 1, – 24th Infantry & Desert Storm Vet. I will always defend the constitution.
Buts lets be real. In the big picture how many troops even know what the constitution says. & when one of the powers that be, tells a privet to take them guns, he will do as he has been trained. Granted some may say no! Then the gung ho sgt. bucking for that promotion that will do any thing he is told because he is a yes man. ( Don’t deny it we all know one or two.!!) Then that man puts a bullet in the head of the privet and then asks if any one else doesn’t want to follow an order?
Don’t get me wrong Most of the people I met in the ARMY are or were great people. But even we can be doped or lied to. Just like the first or second gulf war. Both were based on lies! But we did what we were told because we are soldiers. That’s what we do.
I am afraid that we (The oath keepers) are a minority. I hope I am wrong! Either way we are in for a world of shit.
I inform every one I talk to, even the police about what is really going on, not just what the MSM tells us.
Many (most) are on board. But I have met some that you can tell are serious jack booted thugs, longing for the day they can stomp on us useless eaters.
It will take a mass movement. They are not listening and they will not listen to us until WE make them listen!
What ever it takes.

You are correct, the oath keepers might be a minority but I firmly believe it will be a large and decisive one.
The Martial Law takeover will be difficult to impossible anyway even with 100% participation, but with 60% buying in, it is lost before it starts.

This is potentially a history changing shift towards the U.S. Constitution. If ever there was a time and place for Oath Keepers to come into existence, it is NOW!! I cannot wait for a cop or soldier to disobey an UNLAWFUL order AND he or she turns around and places the superior who gave it UNDER ARREST!! When that happens AND it gets publicized, you will see a rise in the power of the people against tyranny like has not been seen since April 19, 1775!!

This is very heartening but I am afraid the brave, honorable and courageous police and military who stand by this oath will be fired or punished harshly.
For all the people who work for the government or state supported universities, I would like you all to ask questions and make sure you understand what you are told to work on in your jobs. If you are punished or treated rudely or “written up” for asking questions, be prepared to take the risk and make the sacrifice that the police and soldier oath keepers are.
People are ordered what to do and many times their work contributes to unlawful and immoral wrongdoing.

I am an Honorably Discharged Veteran, and this is good news. But remember, MOST of our troops are overseas so that they won’t be here on American soil. Why? Because there are over 300,000 Russian & Chinese troops in the Pacific Northwest. There are Dutch, German, Mexican, Irish and many other enemy combatants over HERE, and we are a seriously overmatched minority at the moment. Bring those patriots (and tanks, jets, battleships, etc.) back over here so they can fight the right people….

I live in the pacific northwest and would like to know where these so called troops are so I can alert the media. Washington state is the most liberal in the nation and if they are here the media WILL publicize it and bring it to the USA’s attention. Please let us know so we can bring it to public eyes.

It is difficult for me to put into words our thanks to Alex Jones and to you, his readers and listeners, for your support, understanding, and encouragement of our mission as Oath Keepers. We swear to you, pledging our lives, fortunes, and sacred honor, that we will do all we can, “to the utmost extent of our power” (as my Airborne unit’s motto put it) to turn the tide and to save this Republic.
We know, for a fact, that if we can reach each and every current serving military and police, and help them to see the truth and to remember where their true allegiance is – to the Constitution and to the people – that the “good guys” will vastly outnumber the “bad guys.” And when you factor in the veterans (truly a sleeping giant), and the plain ol salt of the earth American people, it won’t be any contest at all – it’ll be a route.
We hope that we reach so many of our brothers and sisters in arms that, if it comes to it, we can have a truly bloodless standing down of the military and police, where they just say no.
As one young sheriff’s deputy put it, “I don’t think David Rockefeller knows how to fly an F-15, or a tank … they can’t do it without us.” Let’s see the elite do it themselves.
Please, if you can, join us on Lexington Green, Lexington Mass. on April 19, 2009 and stand tall with us where Capt. Parker and his men stood so long ago and renew your oath or take it for the first time. We have active duty military and police, and veterans, flying in from all over the nation. But we need you to come out in force and stand with these brave men and women. We need to send a message by our presence and our pledge, throwing down the gauntlet to let “them” know it ain’t going down like “they” think it is.
We have invited Alex to come as our honored guest, and he is most welcome to speak if he does. And in addition to the other excellent speakers already announced, we will also have Sheriff Richard Mack, and we are working on several other amazing guest speakers – men who have demonstrated by their actions that they are Oath Keepers. Check the Oath Keepers blog for announcements over the next couple of days.
If you cannot make it, then hold your own oath ceremony wherever you are, and spread the word!

They need ONE more:
We will NOT obey orders that seek to arbitrarily override the above, NOR any orders to have these arranged in an arbitrary order of importance, they are as equal as each other.
The final one seems to appear to be the most important, and could be argued to interfere by authorities.

I have read on here several times the words “Im Afraid” then to follow is some type of negative comment as if to say we are doomed even before we try! That vocabulary has to cease in our thoughts and comments because that is the very thing the PTB want is fear..If they can cause us to fear they win! Now is the time to ask yourself what would you fear most if your going to use the word fear.. Which would be worse to just give up and go along hoping that somehow they will have mercy and spare you and go into a life of slavery or to die fighting with your last breath to remain free? I don’t know about you but I don’t see much real living under slavery but I do know that they can’t follow me (my spirit) out of this realm therefore should my freedom require to give up this body it would be better than to live under slavery where everyday they could torture me and make my life miserable somehow! In times like those where all joy is stolen from life and is replaced by misery and pain we will all likely welcome death as an escape! Why not stand up now and not let things get to that point? When the masses stand together their army is few and can never defeat us! We are their armies and all we the people have to do is just say NO! If enough realized this there would never be a need to raise a gun or fire one shot!

The most important personal responsibility of a peacekeeper and a member of this movement is to refrain from the use of drugs and alcohol and purchase canned food as well as canned seed packages and to gather those things that will help one survive outside of shelter.
Stay sober, stay healthy and keep your body and mind fit. For without good health you are not an asset you are a liability.
It doesn’t matter if you are fourteen years old or eighty years old, the eyes of a sober and drug free man speak louder than any gun when they look into the eyes of another man.

Bless those who swear this oath! Where do I take mine? As an honorably discharged NCO I believe I qualify. Fear not that most people are totally blind. Truth is even the sheep are questioning this situation, even if they live in denial of that uncertainty. Should a rebellious response prove neccessary, I do believe it will quickly become obvious to most of the general populace the difference between who is right and wrong. They will just be poorly equipped to survive. That is where the capable will find support, they will basically find most of the populace turned into indigenous partisans. Even us out of date soldiers may find ourselves being called upon to train new recruits. Know your stuff, and know how to pass on the pertinent information.

My grandfather was on the Yorktown when it went down in the Midway, My father was reg army, my father in law retired from the naval intelligence pentagon and he was not happy as to where we are going. I am a father of two daughters and will gladly die for their freedom as well as all the other patriots here and abroad.

As with any conflict, not everyone performs as expected. The key is that we can respond for our own safety / security and not depend on one group to “save” us. Time to grow up and be responsible for yourself. Granted, it will be nice if large numbers of people prevent the attempt to disarm us all, but it is best to think that we, as individuals, are on our own. I do believe that the fools who attempt to disarm this country will find that they made a very bad decision that day. Hope to God that day does not come!!!

Our veterans truly are a sleeping giant. Our armed citizenry, all of whom are the lawful militia of several states, are a vast force. We will all come together in the coming storm to destroy that which attempts to eviscerate our Constitution. It matters not if we die defending our right to freedom as doing nothing visits a fate worse than death on our children.
It doesn’t matter your skin color, religion, sexual preference etc. If you believe in liberty and freedom, doing as you will as long as you don’t infringe the rights of others, then you are an American.

While I applaud and support these Oathkeepers, I also pray that I will have the courage to stand for what I believe is right when the time comes. However, I believe it won’t be so clear cut. Suddenly the media is full of anti gun stories, and I feel they are attempting to set the stage for their coming anti gun laws and attacks on our 2nd amendment. I also feel that they have something more up their sleeves, and when they play their hand they will use the media to sway the masses into thinking the decisions they have made are not only the correct ones, but will be for the betterment of the United States as a whole. Many still slumber, remaining unaware to the death blows being dealt to our once great nation. Others I feel will make the wrong choices and follow through with unconstitutional orders in the hopes that their actions on behalf of our government are for the best.

I am so very glad for this. Oath Keepers is not red for Republicans or blue for Democrats…it is WHITE for truth..the color that binds our country together. So, I am making copies of this and putting giving this to officers as I see them. I am calling my family in rural parts of the country to let them know about this. I am posting the oath on free billboard space and at libraries. It is good for citizens to know their rights too…..so get out there with a hand full of flyers and some sidewalk chalk!!!
I would love to see Henry Rollins/REM/Rage Against the Machine/etc. give free tickets to police, firefighters, state workers…anyone with the public trust…pull them on stage and re-affirm their oath in front of thousands of fans, preferably live!

THREE- you wanna make a difference? Then volunteer with local groups that HELP people who need help. Don’t waste your time and energy stockpiling ammo, and peeking through your curtains looking for the Obama brigade.

If a member of the military takes an oath like this, that’s his business…don’t ask don’t tell after all. But a soldier who thinks he has constitutional rights has been smoking too much Afghani hashish. The soldier who actually does question his orders is what we in the military call a traitor.
American military members surrender their rights when they swear their oath to the United States. They are subject to the uniform code of military justice (UCMJ) not the constitution that governs the people they work for (the citizens).
Police officers also swear oaths; they don’t surrender their rights, but which oath takes precedence, the one they swore to protect and serve, or the one they swore to decide whether they should obey orders or not?
As far as the pretend military folks saying they’ll never obey an unlawful order, that’s why there are military prisons. Superior means superior in the military, and it’s not a soldier’s job to question authority.
Go back and hide somewhere, Papa Bush can’t protect you any longer…the darkies are coming!!

We have bigger stuff to worry about, the devaluing dollar will continue to slide downhill until we return to a gold standard, isreal will thump iran causing unstable fuel situations, the city slickers have no way to feed themselves which will cause riots that will spill out into the countrysides and rural areas, then martial law will come into play, they have tanks, big guns, planes, helicopters, and some special tricks up there sleeves I’m sure. and lets say we have a confrontation we must wipe the slate clean of bureaucracy, government on a national level, or it will come back stronger and wait till we are complacent and then do whats in out “best” interests to regain control.

What is the sense of how much of the military is true to this oath? What can civilians do to support and grow this group of oathkeepers? What should a civilian’s role be in relation to protection of ourselves and of the constitution? Are we headed towards a police state? I just bought my first gun but I have no military experience and hope that the military will not turn on us while the world banks try to impoverish this country and take it over.
