Barack Obama’s top advisers are setting the stage for a military action against Iran over its nuclear program, new reports have revealed.
The emerging consensus on Iran in US foreign policy circles underscores the fact that the differences between Obama and John McCain were purely tactical, according to the World Socialist Website.
While millions of Americans voted for the Democratic candidate believing he would end the war in Iraq and address their pressing economic needs, powerful sections of the American elite swung behind him as a better vehicle to prosecute US economic and strategic interests in the Middle East and Central Asia-including the use of military force against Iran.

The report points to Obama’s top Middle East adviser, Dennis Ross, as one of the key figures promoting a military action against Iran.
Ross is a key member of the Bipartisan Policy Center, a Washington-based think tank, which declared in a report in September that a nuclear weapons capable Iran was “strategically untenable” and detailed a robust approach, “incorporating new diplomatic, economic and military tools in an integrated fashion”.
The report said that the US needs to immediately boost its military presence in the Persian Gulf.
“This should commence the first day the new president enters office, especially as the Islamic Republic and its proxies might seek to test the new administration. It would involve pre-positioning US and allied forces, deploying additional aircraft carrier battle groups and minesweepers, [and] emplacing other war materiel in the region,” it stated

I will tell you this. If Iran is attacked and they or Russia retaliates in any way Obama supporters will not believe it is his fault. They are going to be the divide in this nation. Not a racial divide as such. But believers and non believers of Obama. And when things get rough. This is the issue we are going to have deal with. Obama supporters turning in the names of Non-Obama supporters. I’ve heard them all over the place I can already see how they are brainwashed. That man can do no wrong. I really don’t think it’s in the cards. Iran makes a great bogey man right now until all the talk gets real old and it has no desired effect any more.

I have to agree with Gary, I think that will be a massive problem. The fact that so many around the world are already so overcome by obama mania and their belief that he is the man they’ve been waiting for, along with his brilliant salesmanship will make any evidence of the truth about such an event (attacks on Iran) extremely hard to be seen by the public.

Having worn out his welcome and credibility a long time ago Bush and the
republicans can no longer be counted on to fool the people into another
war for empire. Enter on cue the new spokesmodel for the NWO: Barack.
Unlike Bush in Barack we have a fully literate smooth-talking representative

control over everyone and their lives. Slowly but surely no more cash, guns,
or freedom. The people will embrace whatever Barack offers to counter a
USA intstigated crisis be it financial, staged terror, or all out war with China,
Russia, or a host of others. Those who voted for “Change” will see their world
changed for the exclusive benefit of the world bankers and their Israeli spawn.
Any change not in this direction will be as terminal for Barack as it was for
JFK. Once again the best government that money can buy is in office. We will
