Obama to Fund Forced Abortions

De-funded during the Bush Administration, US money for the UN Population Fund that supports China’s policy of coercive abortion will flow again during the Obama Administration, say supporters.
Supporters of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) are confident that President-elect Barack Obama will reverse the Bush administration’s 2002 decision to stop the $40 million it received in U.S. funding. The policy was instated because of UNFPA’s support for China’s one-child policy, which includes coercive abortion practices.
Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D – N.Y.) said the funding will be approved by the Democratic majority Congress. Her comments came while speaking Wednesday at a press conference at the National Press Club where the 2008 U.N. report on world population was released.
“You know the president will have to do nothing,” said Maloney. “He will just have to let the will of Congress go through. One of the changes is that UNFPA will be funded,” CNSNews.com reports.

The Bush administration in 2002 had stopped funding the organization, citing the Kemp-Kasten Amendment which prohibits funds from being available to organizations or programs determined to be supporting or participating in coercive abortion or involuntary sterilization programs.
In July of 2008, Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte announced that for the sixth year in a row, the government had determined that “UNFPA provides support for and participates in the management of the Chinese government’s program of coercive abortion and involuntary sterilization.”
Rep. Maloney reported that she discusses UNFPA funding controversies in her book “Rumors of Our Progress are Greatly Exaggerated.” She said the UNFPA was founded “with American leadership” and “was supported strongly by George Bush’s father.”
The new UN report, “Reaching Common Ground: Culture, Gender and Human Rights,” calls for “cultural sensitivity” to “mitigate and overcome cultural resistance to couples and individuals using modern contraception.” It claims to prepare for the empowerment of women with control over their fertility.
Nevertheless, Rep. Maloney claimed the U.S. will no longer “impose our own ideology” under the UNFPA funding changes.
She said Obama “has already said his administration will change the way we do business in Washington and that improving the role of women around the world is going to be one of his prominent priorities.
“I am thrilled with this report, and I am really thrilled at the new direction of our government,” Maloney said, according to CNSNews.com.

The problem is not with “interfering” with reproductive organs. The problem is that the euphemistic term “abortion” deals with the killing of ANOTHER person. The rights of one person ends when they affect ANOTHER person. If abortion was just a matter of reproductive organs or about individual rights as many apologist attempts to claim -that would be one thing- but the fact of the matter is that what often gets overlooked is that the rights of ANOTHER person are at stake as well because I doubt anyone here would be so gung ho about “abortion rights” were those so called rights – there is no such thing as a right to kill- to be applied against you when you were still a developing fetus. Think about that for a while before condemning the opposition to abortion because the whole reason why abortion is so controversial is precisely because it deals with the killing of another person.

As you know:
Age and Citizenship requirements – US Constitution, Article II, Section 1
“No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty-five years, and been fourteen years a resident within the United States.”
The “or a citizen of the United States” phrase is a more explicit qualification
of the previous phrase “natural born citizen.” This is why naturalized citizens can
never become President.
Since Obama does not have a vault birth certificate, he cannot prove he is
“natural born” by himself. He may or may not find witnesses that will testify
on his behalf, but there are already African relatives of his that have said he was
born in Kenya. Ultimately the court will have to decide, but truthfully he is
therefore ineligible to be President.
I think the burden of proof is on Obama. The Certificate of Live Birth does not prove
he was born in Hawaii. It just informs the state about his birth. Lack of proof is
therefore no proof and therefore he is ineligible to be President.

If the question of Obama being “natural born” is even considered, he is sunk. He has no vault birth certificate, and his own relatives in Africa have already said he was born in Kenya. He cannot prove he was “natural born” as required by the US Constitution, Article II, Section 1!
Obama is therefore ineligible to be President.

Get over this Birth Certificate stuff… there are so many more battles to fight. What if he was born in Kenya? His mother was a natural born citizen, who resided in the US, which makes him one. What if a presidential nominee was born in France on a family vacation, should he be barred from becoming the President? This is so stupid that it makes me sick. I’m beginning to wonder why I listen to this radio show and read this website, because I’m associating with loons on here.

Idiots… the more i read some of these comments, the more I’m concerned about where this website and this radio show are headed. Please allow me to introduce this far off idea that clearly many of us on this forum are too blind to understand: Religion, line-in-the-sand, Politics. You call yourselves Constitutionalists and you say you practice what Ron Paul preaches, and yet I have to hear this bullsh*t from you all. LEAVE IT ALONE.
Live by the Golden Rule and you won’t even have to worry about what was or wasn’t written in the Bible. It’s simple enough to be distributed to man-kind as a means of living a good life, but it’s also simple enough where it won’t interfere with politics.
