President says preserving “mutual understanding” is critical to democracy

President Obama has stated that he is happy to consider bailing out the corporate media, expressing concerns that alternative internet based news outlets will grow in popularity as a result of the downfall of newspapers.
Obama told editors of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Toledo Blade that preserving the print media is “critical to the health of our democracy”.
“I am concerned that if the direction of the news is all blogosphere, all opinions, with no serious fact-checking, no serious attempts to put stories in context, that what you will end up getting is people shouting at each other across the void but not a lot of mutual understanding,” Obama said.
He also indicated that readers should be made to pay for online news content in the near future:
“What I hope is that people start understanding if you’re getting your newspaper over the Internet, that’s not free and there’s got to be a way to find a business model that supports that.” he said.
Over the past year, scores of newspapers have gone out of business or shifted to online only output, due to the rise of the alternative media and the resulting loss of ad revenue. Several large newspaper corporations have filed for bankruptcy, including the Tribune Co., owner of the Chicago Tribune and the Los Angeles Times.
Obama said he “would be happy to look at” legislation aimed at providing newspapers tax-breaks if they were to restructure as 50 (c) (3) educational corporations. Democratic Senator Ben Cardin has introduced a bill in this vain titled “The Newspaper Revitalization Act.”
Critics may point out that, far from being “critical” to democracy, a bailed out government subsidized media is the very antithesis of a “free press”.
Government Banking and Government Motors would effectively be joined by the Government Press if bailouts were to be granted.
Bailing out the corporate media would once again constitute rewarding outdated and failing monopolies with more taxpayer dollars, thus punishing innovative forward thinking competition.
Furthermore, there is absolutely no basis for bailing out the newspapers, given that they employ less than one percent of the labor force in the United States.
The dinosaur corporate media is dying because it has proven itself to be almost wholly untrustworthy, acting as an unquestioning mouthpiece for the establishment.
Denouncing all blog based media as unreliable or without context is laughable in the face of the mainstream media’s recent track record.

For many years, the peoples of most countries have followed, more or less meekly, the edicts of their legislators, the politicians. This has largely been the case whether the legislative system was democratic or otherwise. This is now beginning to change. Far from quiet acceptance of unpopular laws, peoples in many countries now demonstrate and demand change. With the exception of those countries under tight military rule, the people, more and more, are demanding to be heard, to have their needs addressed, and bad laws righted. As the beneficent energies of Aquarius gain in potency, this growing power of the people will multiply and become the most powerful voice on Earth. So much is this the case, even now, that governments of all kinds are forced to take account of the peoples’ reaction to laws which deeply concern their welfare. It becomes increasingly difficult for governments to govern along strictly factional lines. Much government action is secretive and obscure, much is done ‘behind the scenes’ of which the people never hear, but generally, governments, at least in the so-called ‘democratic’ world, are careful not to rouse the ire or discontent of the people.
There is one major area in which this is assuredly not the case. For over sixty years, governments worldwide have withheld from the people the reality of ‘UFOs’ or ‘flying saucers’. Further, they have sought by all means to denigrate the occupants of these visiting craft as ‘aliens’, destructive and harmful to the people of Earth. To keep their populations under control, and to avoid ‘panic’, they have denied the experience of hundreds of thousands of intelligent, open-minded citizens. They have thus created a major myth: “‘flying saucers’ do not exist but they are dangerous and rapacious to men of Earth”! Likewise, they have taught the people to deride the notion that crop circles are a legacy from Space, yet every government has unassailable proof of the existence, creativity and superior technology of these brave and harmless visitors from the sister planets of our System. Our profound ignorance of the subtle planes of matter has allowed the major governments of the world to maintain this deception for so long.

They follow the religion of mystery Babylon and use Judaism, Zionism, Christianity, the higher levels of Islam, Catholicism, and a myriad of other isms to deceive the people into accepting the nwo.

Stone, I have had dozens of comments removed for the same reason, and remember, Alex Jones said categorically on his radio show that people who believe that everything is run by the jesuits are crazy, crooks, I believe he used much more offending words actually.
So, after seeing him dismiss a relatively easy idea to grasp after you study your world history straight, I got suspicious about the guy too.
That and the fact that William Cooper got murdered in his own house, nothing subtle at all, and Jones is merrily enabled to do his work as he pleases.

He says its critical to democracy because it is critical to the illuminati’s iron fist control over the uneducated and completely oblivious populus of the US. Without newspapers to help ram lies down our throats and brainwash into mass-thought processes, they lose control over us. At this point in time their control over us gets more important as the days go on and things get worse and worse and worse.

Oh yeah, GE, AOL/Time/Warner, Disney, and all those media owners are really strapped for cash, we aught to help them out. We have no money , savings, jobs, and we’re losing our homes, but we should dig deep to help the biggest corporations in the world get by.

GE, AOL, Time Warner(They’re now two separate entities as of this year, something you would know if you actually read a paper), Disney, et al, don’t own any papers(AOL is an ISP/Online content provider, not a news media outlet). The reason why they don’t is that there’s no money in it, if they ever did. News Corp does, but, WSJ and Murdoch’s empire isn’t doing so hot these days, particularly with advertisers fleeing after realizing they paid money to wingnuts who give Glenn Beck a show.

He isn’t working as our president. That fact didn’t take many days after his inauguration to become clear to many of us. Bush had me so angry, and so hyper, that as Obama got sworn in, it was with me with one foot out, prepared to kick if he didn’t show me anything. He showed me something alright, he showed me plenty. I think that if you have a constitution such as we have, that something can be done about what happened with Bush, and what continues on with Obama. That is what the document is for, doesn’t it work? Well, does it work or not? Or is it just a useless peice of paper? In other words, why is he still in office?

Not so sure about the gold standard comment. Nixon took us off the gold standard and our debt has steadily climbed ever since. It’s more in the bankers interest that our currency be fiat, or backed by nothing. That’s how they enslave us. Ron Paul favors a gold standard. If we have a gold standard dollar then we are protected.

Mac Daddy,
You are correct in suggesting that when Nixon took America off the fixed exchange rate mechanism in 1971, onto the floating exchange, the dollar has weakened ever since. Fiat means “out of thin air” and is the reason for ever more vicious “economic cycles” and the need for printing more notes, which merely stokes inflation….IT MUST END
I suggest a new precious metals standard, with all world currencies backed by gold, silver, platinum & paladium. Governments and banks must be reigned in by real currency.

Acorn is being used by fox news corp. as a diversion from the fact that bankers are ruining the country. The fact that you use the language “Acorn and other Bankers,” is pathetic. It seems you are suggesting acorn is a group of bankers? Or that they have as much power as the bankers? I don’t think so. Why does Fox News focus on the Acorn getting tax money, why don’t they focus on the fact that the federal reserve gets like, a trillion times more of our tax money? You have been duped by Glenn Beck. Acorn has no power, you turd. Now go back to your Glenn Beck 9/12 project nonsense and leave the conversation to people who are trying to expose who is really running this country into the ground—-the fed and it’s allies in the media (who use acorn to distract you.)

Most australian states have ONE corporate owner of 99% of papers sold. Murdoch, from the suburban local rags, to the Only paper in the state, after he bought and closed the competition.
Unbiased? NO! Truthfull..NO , credible? No WAY
since when? does a censor of differing views make it real?
what it does is perfect the BIAS and agenda OF the Papers Management/owners for their own ends.

Anytime you look at a paper, it’s full of old information that could be quickly found on the internet – for free.
I used to write for a local paper but after learning the limitation of what they’re willing to print, depsite factual evidence to back it up, I lost interest in papers many years ago. TV & radio is already controlled by the goverment through the FCC. The government can pull a FCC license if they really want to. The internet is still open, but they’ve been working on shutting down the current system as many of you know. That leaves 1 old form of communication…newspapers. If the internet gets taken over as the airwaves have, then people will go back to the newspapaers, which will be taken over if they get their way.
The people will be left with word of mouth and rumors to figure things out or be brainwashed by the monopoly of fascist media power, that may be coming soon, if we don’t stop this crap.

First of all, the MSM should adapt to the competition, not adhere to the policies of sucking the ass of government in order to keep their media licenses. the alternative media is now the main source of news because the MSM has been shown to be nothing but an empty voice of propoganda for the government. Let the free market duke it out, quit trying to prop up the old ways and make way for the new by letting the people determine what they want and how they want to get it. Don’t like the internet? Then watch your tv news until it has lost all of it’s audience and just goes teh fuck away. The internet will develop it’s own way to disiminate the news for profit. We don’t need no stinkin’ government to tell us how the world should work. The way it really works is we will have what we want, especially if the government says we can’t have it. Want to stop us? There is no doubt the NWO/Bilderberg/CFR traitor scum are lurking and reading these posts, and are seeing the pillars of their little idealistic “1/2 billion people” banker controlled world crumbling. Not only that but they are seeing a potential backlash against their crimes that could perhaps last a generation (Rockefeller and Rothschild road kill). Yes they want these channels shut down, but news for the NWO, if it’s not already too late to shut down the internet and other truth channels, it will be soon, and then it’s payback time.

First we bail ‘em out, then they raise their prices… All for something MOST people DON’T WANT!!!!!!!
Stupidity at it’s finest,. …And who’s leading the pack? Obama.

They know mainstream media has lost the confidence of the people.
They also know they are about to loose total control on humanity.
The good news is we the people are waking up. And WE will free ourselves from the slavery system we are now in.
Never again will we place ourselves in vulnerability situations like we now have with the banks who abuse, they finance wars and chaos and secret agenda’s like the depopulation of this planet.

Obama: We Need To Bailout Newspapers To Stop New Media Taking Over
No, we don’t. We need to let them die the death they so richly deserve.
September 21st, 2009 at 2:03 pm
For years my local paper came out once a week for free. I lost count of all the times I called and asked them Not to deliver it anymore, because I was tired of throwing it out. Then my prayers were answered when they went bankrupt which brought an end to the weekly garbage thrown on my lawn.
Now Obama wants to bailout the paper basically meaning I’ll be paying for the paper I don’t want. This is just alike the stimulus. For as long as I can remember My city has been trying to get us to pay for a city water system expansion and we have voted 8 or 9 to 1 against funding it every time because no one wants to pay for it or have another utility. Now their using stimulus money to put the system in. Which means instead of costing each household 10k it will cost us 6k to hook up to system we don’t need plus $100 a month for the water we don’t want. Again this for something we don’t want or need and have voted overwhelmingly against of decades.
Well Obama can bailout his propaganda office, But he can’t make read his lies! He can put a water system in but I’m not connecting to it!
I think the most disturbing thing in this article is him saying we are going to have to pay to read news online. How is he going to force that on us. Is he planing to tax the net? Or just pay have government pay for his online news whether we want it or not. At least they won’t throw it in my driveway, though they’ll probably spam my Email.

ps : this applies to any country world wide, country names are “subjective”

7. Social Security Numbers are issued by the UN through the IMF. The Application for a Social Security Number is the SS5 form. The Department of the Treasury (IMF) issues the SS5 not the Social Security Administration. The new SS5 forms do not state who or what publishes them, the earlier SS5 forms state that they are Department of the Treasury forms. Newspaper Control In America
influential minority, which constitutes only 2.9% of the total
U.S. population,1 has effectively achieved dominion over
America’s newspaper industry. Some readers will be shocked at
the presented facts and figures; others will scoff—but no one can
ignore them. They are as real as the Jewish people themselves.
Today, few people would deny the existence of newspaper
monopolies. However, many people fail to realize the alarming
proportions monopolization has reached and just who is in
control of this highly influential medium. The degree of
monopoly in America, considering that the country was founded
upon the precepts of independent thought and free enterprise,
truly staggers the imagination:
In 94 percent of the cities in the United States that have
daily newspapers, there are no locally competing
newspapers…. A tendency toward concentration of
ownership has been manifesting itself in the following ways:
(a) the formation of newspaper chains, particularly regional
in scope in more recent years, (b) the elimination of all
except one daily in cities of less than 50,000 population, (c)
the combination of two papers under one publisher in cities
of 50,000 to 400,000, and (d) the survival of competition
only in cities of more than 400,000 population.2
Time magazine, in an article accurately titled “No
Competition,” stated that, although daily circulation of newspapers
has increased from forty-five million to sixty million since
1945, the number of American cities with competitive dailies has
shrunk by almost one-half, from 117 to 60. The article went on to
say that the number of towns with newspaper
1 The World Almanac and book of facts (New York, 1966), p. 332.
2 Raymond B. Nixon, “Implications of the Decreasing Numbers
of Competitive Newspapers,” in Wilbur Schramm (ed.),
Communications in Modern Society (University of Illinois Press,
1948), p. 43.
monopolies has increased to 1,382.3
In a later article it was reported that:
…Since chains not only stifle competitors but kill
newspapers (generally by merger), their effect has been
dramatic. From a high-water mark of 2,461 daily papers in
1916, the number has steadily fallen, to 1,760 today. It is still
dropping. Daily newspaper competition has all but
disappeared. It survives in only 60 of the country’s 5,911
cities—and in two-thirds of these the competition is token,
i.e., between morning and afternoon papers.4
Monopoly newspapers, like an insatiable fire, require more
and more “links” to their chain, which assures them of more
influence, narrows the number of competitors in the field, and
thus allows for a greater profit by increased and exclusive
patronage. Since monopolists don’t like to admit their policies
destroy initiative and competition, a rationale is developed. This
rationale usually explains that modern-day high costs require
fewer but bigger newspapers. Such newspapers, they claim,
provide greater efficiency, broadened news coverage, in-depth
reporting, more special columns—a regular reader’s utopia. The
fact that such papers also become uniform in news coverage, i.e.,
in what the public is allowed to read and know about, is accepted
by most newspapermen as inevitable.
In a study of the Midwestern newspaper monopolists, John
and Mike Cowles (who among their other holdings own Look
magazine), William Barry Furlong comments:
…In both Minneapolis and Des Moines, the editors and
executives stress the “competition” offered them by radio and
television. But in both cities, the Cowles brothers—like
monopoly publishers almost everywhere—own all or part of
local radio and TV stations.

I am a constitutionalist, who believes that all the power falls to the individual… and that government is a vehicle for deciding and enforcing regulations pertaining to common areas (where individual liberties intersect).
I do see through the false left/right paradigm… and I do see a conspiracy among those in power to enslave the world.
I made those qualifying statements in order to preempt any flames accusing me of being a mindless koolaid drinker.
I’ve had a problem with many articles here on prison planet… and this is one of them. One thing you should all do is read the articles referenced and read what they say – not what Infowars tells you they say.
example:
“I am concerned that if the direction of the news is all blogosphere, all opinions, with no serious fact-checking, no serious attempts to put stories in context, that what you will end up getting is people shouting at each other across the void but not a lot of mutual understanding,” Obama said.
Considering what Limbaugh and others have made of talk radio over the last 20+ years… I think we could all imagine that most sheople would be glad to get their news – not in the form of facts, figures, and quotes gathered by investigation – but, in the form of someone else’s opinion of the facts (if indeed facts are involved at all.) Can’t you read Obama’s statement and see that all he is saying is that we can’t allow the gathering and publishing of facts be replaced with spin zones that play fast and loose with the truth? I can – and I agree with this statement.
And before you leave – consider that even infowars quotes and references the corporate media. Without the facts, figures, and quotes gathered by a corporate media entity… there would be very few facts here. And I am not taking away from Alex, who did a super job gathering facts at the grove – but, Alex tells George Noorey on every appearance that he gathers information from reputable news sources.
If these reputable news sources go under… all the spin zones will have to increase their bull-shit content due to lack of facts gathered by investigation. And the president is right –
“what you will end up getting is people shouting at each other across the void but not a lot of mutual understanding”
The lack of mutual understanding is caused by the lack of facts – which are the things we can all agree on – if we know them to be facts. It’s the distorting of these facts that undercuts that mutual understanding, and divides us to be conquered.
In the case of this article… the whole premise is based on a liberal interpretation (to put it mildly) of the President’s words.
Is this a case of being over-zealous? Or is it a case of deliberately undercutting the mutual understanding we need to rally a true revolution of the American Spirit of Liberty and Justice for All?
You’ll need to decide for yourself. I’ve merely pointed out some facts and made some observations.
Now for my opinion – Would you have trusted a couple of Brits during The First American Revolution? I haven’t counted… but most of the articles I find to be misrepresentation are written by a Watson.
No accusations… but a noticeable improvement in your articles would help clear up any doubts about your true motives. I would hope my comments would be embraced as constructive criticism.
How about representing the facts. Save the loose interpretations for the spin zones.
That being said – the restructuring of media entities as educational entities would give the government control of content to an extent. But, it’s only giving it control of the media that the corporate power already owns. So if the aim is to allow them tax-breaks for restructuring… and that restructuring results in some recognition or certification for presenting facts… then that should be a good thing. Worst case, they obey their corporate masters like they do now… but through government acting as “middle-management”.
I will admit that it might add some undeserved accreditation to corporate propaganda… but if you think for yourself, you will see that right away – no harm done.
Now, when they try and make all informational media subject to any regulations that come out of this agenda… THEN… you will have a reason to scream.
And please… no “baaaahh! baaahhhh! responses.

It sounds to me like you are giving facts and false-facts equal value as they can both be a basis and or a starting point. What I don’t understand is why we need to keep alive a so-called legitimate media if this same media is spinning and lying. Anyone can spin and lie, just like anyone can give me a bad hair cut. I don’t need to pay money for that. The fact that once in a while they’ll throw in a glossy photo of the 1927 Yankees helps but I can also get that on-line for free now. Although the paper quality in my printer does not compare I’ll admit. Let us not forget the legitimate media’s Judith Miller and her Yellow Cake uranium piece; planted by Carl Rove then quoted by Dick Cheney. There’s your false facts being used to kill innocents. That’s the legitimate media acting very illegitimately. I for one have no trouble watching it crash and burn. Especially if the people are no longer lapping it up.

Elvis,
In defense of Steve; the quote, the headline and the article all revolve around the larger issue that the MSM, is the mouth piece for the man.
If the market no longer demands their media, than a new one will form, unfiltered by the CIA, and the Pentagon.
Could you imagine if the Downing Street Memo would have been front page the way it should have, instead of reluctantly reported, and marginalized?
Mom and Pop news gatherers will replace corporate ones, just like with retailers.
Gerald Celente is correct when he says we could turn this depression into a renascence..
And Steve’s article point’s that out.
I would agree that these cats ought to label articles as opinion pieces, though.
From the view point of, “here’s the news!!!”
This article would be yellow as hell, but I think the on going thread of thought is correct, right on, and well written.

Theez “bailouts” are driving me nuts! To quote from my old ‘American Heritage Dictionary’, “Fascism…a philosophy or system of government that advocates or exercises a dictatorship of the extreme right, typically through the merging of state and business leadership, together with an ideology of belligerent nationalism.
Also…”the governmental system of Italy under Benito Mussolini from 1922-1943.”
Sound familiar?
Sheesh!
Fight on!!

About six or so entities own 95% of the Western media/press who are being fiscally affected by those who are being disloyal to them by not supporting their media empires and whoremongering.
Shame on those people who now go to trusted internet information sites to get genuine news stories.
Shame, shame, shame, have you no loyalty or understanding as to what you are doing to the nice media people and their serfs, they could be out in the street begging soon?
Heartless I say, a heartless betrayal of those decent upright members of our highest social order, for all the wars and democratic freedoms and happiness that they have sponsored on behalf of the western world toward the primitive peoples.
No respect being shown by some commentators here, after all, they are like us they are human beings with little childen to support and they love their pets.
Someone should start up a fund to ’saveajourno’ immediately, perhaps Mr Obama might be the patron and everyone must contribute a weekly tithe, to feed them at least.

Our CFR/TC media cartel is no better than the Pravda paper in Russia. Hell, even they called out Obama for what he really is. The Satanic evil alliance is afraid that the old papers which they almost completely control will die out and too much of the truth will come out through the “new media”. The communist/globalist puppet Obama wants the government to bail out the papers-not surprising. They might as well-the CARTEL decides what we see and hear and what we don’t see and hear anyway. The evil ones always hate the light of truth for it exposes them for what they are.
September 21st, 2009 at 5:00 pm
They had it made in the shade. We will actually get these chumps to pay for the propaganda we are feeding them. Oh No Mr Bill!!! We’ve been found out. But that’s OK the chumps will stay pay for the propaganda we ram down their throats because Congress and Obama will tax them and take their money and give it to us.
So much for a free market economy. So much for a Constitutional Republic. The entire Congress needs to be replaced except for Ron Paul and about ten other people. All the rest are traitors and should be dealt with accordingly. They are guilty of high treason.
September 21st, 2009 at 5:21 pm
So we refuse to pay for that media, and they will force us to pay for it. That’s awesome. At least this shows that we are on the path of destabalizing their agenda. They are gonna pull something crazy, i can feel it in the depth of my very being.

We ARE winning the infowar!
The new world order elites are scared.
Lately I’ve been trying to find creative ways to get meassages across on topics such as 9/11.
I posted a video in a contest, to take advantage of the alternative media (while we still have it!)
The video sheds some light on the first responders poor health due to toxic air at ground zero.
I would have liked to include more info but I was restricted to a time limit of 1 minute.
THIS IS A CALL TO ARMS FELLOW INFOWARRIORS!!!
Please vote on my video to raise awareness on this important issue!
If I win there is a cash prize much of which I will donate to the first responders and their families!
Please take a moment to view and vote on the video here: http://videocontest.ecomplimen.....php?vid=61
By doing so you will help bring awareness to the issue as well as aid to the first responders and their families!
Thank you all in adavance.
Let’s all use the tools that we have in the alternative media to bring down the new world order!!!!!

Just watch what is going to happen in the name of protecting us all from terrorists in the next few years. Internet II shall be pushed as the savior of our children and society as a whole. It shall be totally controlled by company’s like Google, whom shall be the providers of providing secure content portals for the public. The Government wants to decide what you can and can’t look at, sites like this and other independent news sites are destined for the scrap heap. You won’t be able to access them, unless they have been approved, then they shall have to go through a portal provider. It’s going to be a lot like using the proxy in many workplaces, provide your details and log in to Big Brother, then you shall be presented with what your allowed to look at, that has been approved. They are planning on pushing it by scaring the public like they always do, some of those things include, pedophilia (protecting the children!), corporate fraud through hacking etc (only Goldman Sachs is allowed to do such things) and terrorism (only the Government is allowed to know of such things).
It seems the Government, wishes to keep all of it’s activities secret for itself
Welcome to 1984, please pull up a seat and enjoy the show…

In my “Hood” people “of Color” deliver the newspaper The “Kitchener Waterloo Record” door to door, very early in the morning (4 or 5 AM) to what seems a small number of subscribers in a MINIVAN! Hows that for sustainability? I used to carry about 100 copies door to door when I was in grade school and it took years to save up for a camera.
How can anyone gas up a guzzler and make money delivering papers? I can’t keep paying yellow pages and a business phone cause nobody calls me and I pay from revenuse from my regulars. How about RED pages in the phone book? My neighbors are subsadised but I have a business (since I was 15) so tough darts worker nothing for you.

Jesus of Nazareth and the Christ are not one and the same person. This is one of the most difficult claims for many Christians to accept in connection with Maitreya, the World Teacher, and it therefore needs some further explanation.
In fact, the title Christ does not refer to an individual at all. It is the name of a function in the Hierarchy of Masters of Wisdom, that group of advanced beings who guide the evolution of humanity from behind the scenes. Whoever stands at the head of this Hierarchy automatically becomes the World Teacher, known in the East as the Bodhisattva, during the term of his office.
Maitreya, who embodies the energy we call the Christ Principle, has held that office for over two millennia. In Palestine he manifested himself as the Christ to inaugurate the Age of Pisces, then beginning. The method he used is called spiritual overshadowing, that is, his consciousness informed and guided the actions and teachings of his disciple Jesus. It was, therefore, the consciousness of the Christ, Maitreya, which was seen and experienced by those around Jesus.
The events from Jesus’ life and his words have been greatly misinterpreted due to this little-understood connection between his work and that of Maitreya the Christ. This has given rise to the age-old theological point of contention — namely, whether Jesus was God or man, or perhaps both together. The answer is that Jesus was a man who, as a result of the process of evolution, became a Son of God — as does everyone eventually. Others had gone before him on that path and many have taken it since.
The disciple Jesus of 2,000 years ago has by now become one of the most senior Masters in the Hierarchy: the Master Jesus. During most of the current time he has lived mainly in Palestine. Since 1984, however, he has lived in Rome. The intention is that he will try to raise the Christian churches out of their state of crystallization and rivalry and, if invited to do so, to lead a newly united church. By doing so he hopes to resolve the many contradictions and misunderstandings which have arisen during the course of the centuries about his historic role and the teachings which he then disseminated as a vehicle for Maitreya.
With the emergence of Maitreya, the Master Jesus is playing a major role for the second time. This open collaboration, which will be visible to all, will end any lingering doubts concerning the true relationship between Maitreya the Christ and his disciple, the Master Jesus.
Thus the seemingly paradoxical claim that Jesus and the Christ are not the same person, in the literal sense of the word, is more reasonable than it would appear. Those Christians who find it difficult to accept that ‘their’ teacher is not the highest leader of all humanity may, however, take solace in a second paradox: Jesus and Maitreya the Christ were (and are) one, in the sense that they, each on his own level, work together in perfect concord to further the divine Plan.

mike said: “start your own website false prophet”
The Unreal Mac Daddy said: “hahahaha, both you and drex are false prophets!!!”
Omega responds to both:
Interesting to observe the two psychologies of mike and “Mac Daddy” here. One is the church-led and blind idealist, hoping that his church priests, ministers and bishops can enlighten his path to “salvation.” For he knows not his god….
The other, the unbelieving rationalist, who thinks that men are naught but brutish creatures of flesh, descended from apes and nothing more. Placed here by chance in some unexplained accident..If a man’s body were incinerated, what would his remaining chemicals be worth? That is the price he would put on human life, for the soul has no meaning to him. Man the body alone, lives, dies and is then gone forever…..
The harshness of one illusion to the other is most apparent. Both misguided, both in illusion, neither knowing the whole truth, mirror images of each other’s lost hopes.
TRUTH IS MY MIDDLE PATH, THAT OFFERS THE MIND SATISFACTION OF THE ONE ,WITH THE HEART SATISFACTION OF THE OTHER…And sees the dross left as unrequired.

Selamat Jarin! We return with more to tell you about what is happening on your world. In our last message we gave you some details concerning the changes being prepared by our Earth allies. At present, the trap sprung upon the dark cabal is forcing a resolution to a campaign that has dragged on for far too long. As ever, our Earth allies are “gutting it out” as they complete the final steps that is to result in their well-earned victory. A number of major pronouncements are ready to be made once this victory is secured. Those who are detailed to be the American governmental caretakers are planning their first 100 days as we speak, and this includes carefully going over, one last time, the myriad details, both large and small, to make sure nothing has been overlooked. This attention to detail is essential because their first actions establish critical precedents that set the tone for all that is to follow. Making a series of startling announcements is, after all, just the beginning. An entirely new way of legislating needs to be made quite clear so that when congress is in session, guidelines are there to protect the legislature.
A similar process is to take place within the judiciary. The switch to common and constitutional law requires a whole new range of legal precedents, which in turn demands a massive retraining of all law professions in order for the new system to be fully integrated. An interim legal team is ready to step into the breach during the retraining period. The same process, naturally, is to happen in the banking and corporate world. In short, a whole new philosophy and basic framework is being instituted here, and it is this which sets this regime apart from its predecessors. Once this is done, the government is to downsize in most areas and to expand only where needed to protect the nation’s “general welfare.” Government is now to become a general overseer, partnering with her citizens to maintain and use the new prosperity to spread wealth to all, and ensure that each citizen is supported in their “pursuit of happiness.” Accessing and satisfying one’s innate purposes are conditions which are essential to the foundation of your coming galactic society.
What we are talking about here is the mother-of-all-transitions! It does not merely involve a massive shift from lack to abundance; you are facing an about-face in your worldview. More importantly, the new worldview is predicated on a brand new self-perception. You are to totally revise who you, in truth, are! And this is to constitute one of your major occupations in the upcoming period: What are your talents and what brings you joy? What activities “light your fire” and what sort of person do you want to become? Once you identify and begin to develop the inner you, your zest for life spreads itself to others and a kind of serendipity is set in motion. Heartfelt mutual interests flow naturally into joint activities, which become organizations that effortlessly support other similar organizations. A natural fortuitous confluence of people and circumstances is expected to prevail as your society morphs into abundance and creativity, and this is exactly what your transitional governments are intended to support and enhance.
Another area your new governments intend to tackle is education. A huge variety of educational and healing centers, environmentally oriented, are in the pipeline. Our Earth allies have gathered together a number of specially trained facilitators and mentors to help bring these centers about. Your government will be instrumental here in shifting key social institutions back into the private (but not corporate) sector, and this time it is to be the Light Workers, with their immense wealth and resources, who will have their hands on the tiller. This transfer of responsibility into a ‘new public sector’ is to revolve around questions of social and private accountability; of freedom and personal sovereignty; and the meaning of “being your brother’s and sister’s keeper.” You all have a lot of healing to do on many levels. The means are there to turn your society into a paradise, but huge cultural and linguistic differences need to be overcome and reconciled, and you need to come up with ways to heal these open social wounds.
Your learning curve is set up to be a very rapid and exciting one! Your new responsibilities include new therapies to swiftly end addiction. New almost-instantaneous building technology will end the blight of urban slums and create bright and healthy living environments. These projects will throw open new knowledge and go a long way toward ending social and cultural prejudice. As you go at these projects, you will find society coming together naturally in ways impossible before. Along the way you will begin to understand the manipulative tricks used by the old order to divide and control, and from this will come the understanding to integrate society and transform fear and hatred into wisdom. We must make it very clear that a great deal of wise and open-minded interaction between all members of your global village needs to take place in order for this vision to succeed.
To return to the subject of global peace and cooperation: Any international organization incorporating these goals must have legal ‘teeth’ in order to be effectual. Further, if the mediator is to be successful, that entity must have an official position that is acceptable to all parties involved in the dispute. Next, the negotiations need to address the causes behind the problems, which means that social and cultural ‘baggage’ must be dealt with. All parties to the dispute are to undergo a specific process that can heal the issues that lie at the root of the problems. To this end, all mediators are to be trained in a form of national “ho’oponopono,” the conflict-resolution methodology of the Hawaiians. Using this, we expect great headway to be made in all areas of current global discord.
A similar creative approach is to be used to endorse and spread this new form of society and governance around the globe. It is essential that each citizen be well informed and works closely with others to circulate the truth of many things throughout the planet. Here, discernment is of the essence. Each citizen needs to participate in government, whether at the top or local levels, because this diligence is a key component of the success of the new systems being introduced by the caretaker regimes. Now, regarding ‘fun stuff’: Your new world is to unveil a great many things, including long-suppressed technologies that can restore worldwide environmental health and solve your energy and climate crises. As you can see, you are to be swept up into an unprecedented healing- and learning curve, with equally unprecedented responsibilities
For us the highpoint, naturally, is first contact. The events and details we have been enumerating are simply to turn you from a passive subject and follower into a thinking, feeling, responsible citizen of your globe. This independence and sovereignty is a requisite to first contact. It is vital for you to control your lives and reconcile your own best interests with those of your fellows. The Federation is composed of galactic societies dedicated to serving Creation and galactic humanity, and our talents and abilities are creatively and joyously devoted to this end. You have not had the opportunity to think in this way for millennia, but now, many wonderful things are about to focus you all in this direction, and this includes your swift return to full consciousness.
Today, we carried on our discussion about what is ready to transpire on your world. As all this begins to dominate your attention, do not forget that an even more incredible event by far lies in wait: your first contact! We come to celebrate our reunion with you, your return to full consciousness, and the birth of your own star-nation! Know, dear Ones, in your Heart of Hearts that the countless Supply and never-ending Prosperity of Heaven are indeed Yours! So Be It! Selamat Gajun! Selamat Ja! (Sirian for Be One! and Be in Joy!)

Hey Paul, I am a big believer in blogs too, but have you ever noticed that when Alex Jones sources his facts and information from, he references real corporate newspaper articles more that 100 times for every blog commentary he cites as a source.
I wonder why that is… huh?
Possibly for the same reason that most blogs also routinely use corporate news-gathering organizations for their information.
Obama is wrong about bailouts, but YOU are also sadly mistaken about the worthiness and value of newspapers. Pull your head out.

I Agree CPUSA. Everyone on this board should be calling their congressional representatives and raising holy hell about this issue. You should be blocking the phone lines and fax machines until they feel the pressure and put a hault to this. Call your local radio talk shows and new stations and ask them why they are not covering this. Talk to everyone you know and don’t stop until the powers that be have been made miserable by our hounding and harrassing! I have seen this type of campaign get results. The powers that be are coming up for re-election and the most vocal part of their constituancy will have the influence. We stopped the amnesty bill, we can stop this! Rise up beautiful, intellegent people who are smart enough to listen to Alex Jones and make yourselves heard! I appreciate you all.

If Obama is so gung-ho to support the special interest “green groups” and their ajendas, then why save an industry dependent on paper producton? Green groups are against deforestation and pollution, right? Paper production involves both. This is a complete contradiction.
If you have ever driven through cities like Covington, VA (huge Mead West Vaco plant there) you will understand what I mean about pollution. You can smell the city before you even get close. It is an awful stench but it seems that the people that live there have managed to get used to it. I assume like living near a manure farm. It actaully smells worse than Detroit.
