you know, it is idiots like you who allowed people like hitler to get into power under the pretenses of “doing public good”. Remember, once you choose to give up an individual freedom, you will not get it back without force. That is what we had to do during the american revolution. The only difference between now and then, is that people back then were smart enough to realize that the path to destuction is paved with both good and bad intentions and individual freedoms must be preserved at all costs. It is the job and right of the individual to choose how to live his life. We are guaranteed this right under the constitution, which by the way, states that involuntary servitude is unconstitutional. So your comment about getting off our ass to do community service, well I am sure that all of the communist countries might agree with you, but for me, I choose freedom from tyrany and a government who tries to regulate everything I can and cannot do. If you dont like being free, then maybe you get off your ass and should go live in one of those nice communist community service countries and leave all us freedom loving people alone in peace.
