Obama’s Anti-Gun Agenda Spurs Record Firearms Sales
Media skews record gun purchases as nutjob paranoia, yet Obama’s virulent hostility towards the Constitutional right to keep and bear arms is on the record

Record gun sales across the United States are not a result of misplaced paranoia, as the media would have it, but as a sensible response to Barack Obama’s virulent hostility to the second amendment, which is on the record and documented.
Many fear that Obama could move to disarm American gun owners, potentially utilizing the “civilian national security force” that is “just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded” as the U.S. military he promised to create during the campaign. Obama’s intention to re-instate the expired Assault Weapons Ban is partly behind the nationwide rush to purchase firearms.
“Sales of handguns, rifles and ammunition have surged in the last week, according to gun store owners around the nation who describe a wave of buyers concerned that an Obama administration will curtail their right to bear arms,” reports the New York Times today.
Obama’s disdain for the Constitutional right to keep and bear arms is clear – though he later denied it, in 1996 during his run for the Illinois State Senate, Obama told non-profit organization Independent Voters of Illinois that he supported a ban on the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns, a de facto national annulment of the second amendment.
Obama’s rhetoric that Americans have a right to bear arms is completely worthless, because he has consistently claimed that governments have the power to take that right away.
For example, in April 2008 Obama stated, “As a general principle, I believe that the Constitution confers an individual right to bear arms. But just because you have an individual right does not mean that the state or local government can’t constrain the exercise of that right.”

During the 2004 debate over the assault weapons ban, Alan Keyes chided Obama, stating, “I am a strong believer in the second amendment. The gun control mentality is ruthlessly absurd. It suggests that we should pass a law that prevents law abiding citizens from carrying weapons. You end up with a situation where the crooks have all the guns and the law abiding citizens cannot defend themselves. I guess that’s good enough for Senator Obama who voted against the bill that would have allowed homeowners to defend themselves if their homes were broken into.”
Obama also cosponsored a bill to limit purchases to 1 gun per month in 2000, supported the 2008 D.C. gun ban, voted against allowing persons who had obtained domestic violence protective orders to carry handguns for their protection, and has consistently supported measures against concealed carry.
Obama is also a board member of the Joyce Foundation, which funds gun control groups in the U.S.
Obama’s first appointment since winning the election, soon to be chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, also has an established record in pushing for gun control.
Emanuel cosponsored H.R. 1312 (Assault Weapons Ban and Law Enforcement Protection Act of 2005).
He also voted NO on prohibiting product misuse lawsuits on gun manufacturers (Oct 2005), voted NO on prohibiting suing gunmakers & sellers for gun misuse (Apr 2003), has supported so-called “smart gun” technology, which restricts usage of firearms and has been given an F by the NRA, indicating a pro-gun control voting record.
It seems that Emanuel, whose father used firearms and explosives to full effect when bombing hotels and massacring civilians as a member of the terrorist Irgun group, doesn’t want to extend that right to law-abiding American citizens for means of self-defense.
Despite the corporate media’s efforts to skew record gun sales as the consequence of misguided paranoia of right-wing gun nuts, Obama’s public record lays bare his hostility towards the second amendment and strongly indicates that an Obama administration, backed by monopolized Democratic control of the legislature, will waste little time in undermining the second amendment and attempt to prevent Americans from exercising the right to defend themselves against criminals and a tyrannical government – whoever may be in power.

Your guns will not protect you when you are curled up in the fetal position, poisoned by chemtrails, clutching your guns like a kid with his teddy bear.
There will be very little to shoot at, and if you do get a chance it will be some poor uneducated brainwashed thug from some other country (or maybe your own) who has no clue about anything.
Obama getting rid of guns is a big scary story to KEEP the left and the right divided. He may or may not write a few new irrelevant gun laws if his NWO masters decide that it is a good idea.
Either way, your guns are the ultimate false security blanket.
They will not help you when the real shit goes down, and in the mean time your NWO masters know that some of you will get drunk and kill your family or neighbors or yourself in some emotional outburst.

I haven’t read the other articles pertaining to the increased sales of weaponry, but in any case, I think the main intent of reports like this is to focus on the political double-speak in speeches our leaders make, and the fact citizens are becoming increasingly aware of the tangled web being weaved around them.
In Canada, over a billion taxpayer dollars has been spent on gun control, yet the proportion of homicides involving handguns continues to rise. I guess the crooks used their ‘democratic right’ and chose not to register.
Though Obama did win convincingly, many are still skeptical of the direction he will take the nation. So far the news does not bode well for the US, nor for the rest of the planet.

Don’t let the gun sales fool you though with price jumping up. Wait till Obama starts acting on bill that will take six months to enacted. I already have hunting weapons from past and bought ammo at Wal-mart last month. Basically just enough ammo for hunting season. A gun is useless with ammo.

I love this planet. I love the animals, I hug the trees, I traded my car for a bicycle and I would love to see wind power on the mountain tops and hydroelectric turbines in the sea. I have great faith in the American people and believe the vast majority of them are generous, well-intentioned, hospitable and understanding. I believe everyone ought to have health insurance, the hungry ought be fed, the wildlife protected and young given a fair chance to succeed. In a spiritual sense, I believe that we are all one with nature and the universe.
However, I also recognize that I have no business in telling other people what to value or how to live. As long as the actions of others do not entail force or fraud, I have no right in demanding they conform to my ideals.
So, the debate over whether or not purchasing and owning guns is effective in any way is irrelevant. If someone wants to own a gun, so be it. Who am I to tell the rest of the world how to live? People should be in complete control of their own destiny, and if you advocate restrictions on their actions apart from force or fraud, you are the enemy of freedom whether or not you realize it.
Just because you may have good intentions does not mean you are at liberty to steer another person’s destiny.

Why do they keep running this stupid and speculative article? I have noticed many comments deleted for not agreeing. What is the webmaster trying to pull? Nobody has every taken guns from Americans. At most they have made it a bit harder to get handgun permits in some places, and Clinton temporarily banned newly manufactered weapons from holding more than 7 rounds, as well as flash suppressors. It was never illegal to own them and is not now or ever will be. Nobody is even talking about this right now. Gun sales are high in the US just in case there is a ban on assault weapons and IT IS HUNTING SEASON.

Your private guns are going, whether you like it or not. Obama’s team will soon have some record breaking act of violence against ‘children’ conveniently occur within the US, a criminal act designed to get the majority of american FEMALE adults (you know, the ones responsible for putting Obama into power) in favour of a universal gun ban for all private citizens. Prohibition is ***ALWAYS*** a female supported political initiative. You think guns are in any sense popular or meaningful to women? And no, you do not counter my argument by finding pro-gun nutter republican females from the red-states. This is a statistical fact in the US ‘democratic’ system. Female votes are the only votes that count. The male voting pattern is much too close to 50-50 (which, obviously, creates a self-cancelling effect).
Obama will replace private gun ownership with a pseudo-militia like training program for all ‘citizens’ (see elsewhere on prison planet for this initiative). This will allow the constitution to appear unchanged (with respect to gun ownership) while allowing Obama to implement the most severe penalties for those that do not turn in their weapons. REMEMBER, the USA is not prone to invasion, so the sheeple can easily be persuaded that private gun ownership is out-dated. The sheeple will never remember that the right to bear arms is a counter against tyranny arising from within. Being pro-gun will mean you are ‘anti-Obama’. Being ‘anti-Obama’ will mean being defined as a de-facto enemy of the ‘american’ state (or, as the zionist press will label them, a ‘terrorist’).

Considering how Obama has voted for gun laws in the past and his views on guns in general, which I’m sure the smart people here know, I think it’s great people are buying more guns. Everyone with a working brain knows what happened to the jews when they had to register their guns and when the nazi’s started disarming people, what are you gonna do? That right was written before semi-automatics and handguns, and intended to keep the Red Coats at bay. If they thought everyone was going to go postal with concealed weapons, it would have been written differently. Guns should be controlled not taken away. People should be able to protect themselves from all threats which includes the threat from an autocratic government who does not fear its people because she is not armed and can not possibly pose a challenge. In China, thousands of homeowners were evicted from their homes against their will and with little compensation so that the chinese government can build the grandiose olympic venues to impress the world. Only in China can that happen because it holds absolute power, power that comes from the barrel of a gun, guns that only the People’s Liberation Army possess. You don’t hear the muffold sounds of protest because the guns are pointed at you. Even Yahoo and Google knows that! Our country is in its final days and people are recognizing this, many for the first time.
How many will fight is yet to be determined, but numbers are growing. We have people many buying guns for the very first time. Ammo is blowing off of shelves; so many people are awakening to the Marxist agenda of the Lord of the Universe and his Global Banker handlers.
Let’s hope that these good people that are buying guns are also buying food water filters, tons of ammo and spare parts for those fine new guns their buying.

To “Line In The Sand”, AMEN Brother. The Constitution is law and is not open to interpretation or revision. It is our right to keep and bear arms. It is also our right to protect this country from enemies foreign and domestic. No one ever thinks of our “government” being the domestic enemy, but, until there is real “change”, they are. The sooner the people quit letting FOX, CNBC and so on and so on, lead them around by the nose, the sooner we can bring about change. We as a people have to get ‘em by the short hairs!

To all, I say LOVE is the true power and that the OATH taken by so many is a pledge out of care for what is good and right in this land we call America!
I myself do not wish for a fight and that I have called, emailed, pleaded, challenged to all concerned of their Responsibility and DUTY to the Oath for which they have pledged, from Police, Politicians, Soldiers (I am a Armorer), friends, family and all that are in positions to make a positive effect. Still the ones that are in positions of power will not do THE RIGHT THING or even the job we elected them to, by protecting our sovereign rights as citizens of this land & by promise of their oath to office,leaving us citizens with the last resort to ever come closer.
I am just a man that loves his country and sadly I must now start preparing to defend this land I care so much about; not from some invading Foreign force but my very own ELECTED GOVERNMENT. This is a fight NONE of us should want but to all that have taken the Oath, REMEMBER this!!
Alot of good Men & Women have paid with their lives to keep this land free from the like’s of what we now face and remember that the Man or Woman standing next to you could very well hold true to the Oath that they have taken and so go ahead and commit acts of unconstitutional aggression against the citizens and you just might get a little surprise from the REAL MEN & WOMEN that serve our land and so to the one’s of honor, I SALUTE you and to the ones that dishonor their Oath, I pity you for when you hold your child, think about the world you are giving to that souls’ future and what you may soon be dying for, like I probably will, (at least my death will be with honor)!

this goverment is screwed over since 1890. Obama was elected for one reason cause hes of different color. dont get me wrong i have different color in my family but the goverment knows that threw media rappers suck as lil wayne and young jeezy and others (which hold the media and peoples attention) would be all for a colored pres. ron paul was not noticeed t all because he was for us on our side he wasnt seen on t.v. or the radio hell i didnt even hear about him till the middle of this shit. world banks control the goverment and the goverment control the media which controls 99% of this once great country.
