Obama’s Treasury Candidates: Old Guard Of The Corporate Elite

All of the leading candidates for the position of Treasury Secretary under president elect Barack Obama directly represent the old guard of the corporate elite system that has used the American economy as it’s engine to drive their march toward a global empire for decades.
Under the banner of “change” whichever of these candidates is appointed to the Treasury will continue to rapidly expand the empowerment of the Federal Reserve monetary system and institute the very policies that have led us to the brink of financial ruin to move the economies of the world toward a centralized global banking system.
The Leading candidate for Obama’s Treasury Secretary is current Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York Tim Geithner.
In 2001, after leaving Bill Clinton’s Treasury, Geithner joined the Council on Foreign Relations as a Senior Fellow in the International Economics department. He then worked for the International Monetary Fund as the director of the Policy Development and Review Department until moving to the Fed in October 2003. In 2006 he became a member of the influential Washington-based financial advisory body, Group of Thirty, which was founded in 1978 at the initiative of the Rockefeller Foundation.
Back in June of this year after attending the annual Bilderberg power brokers conference in Virginia, Geithner penned an article in the Financial Times in which he called for a worldwide financial overhaul and the implementation of a globalized banking system.
Geithner stated that the US Federal Reserve should play a “central role” in the new regulatory framework, working closely with supervisors in the US and round the world.
“At present the Fed has broad responsibility for financial stability not matched by direct authority and the consequences of the actions we have taken in this crisis make it more important that we close that gap,” Geithner wrote.
How can Geithner represent real change when he is a long time servant of the very entities that created the conditions for and perpetuated financial meltdown for years?
Geithner represents an entrenched central banking system that has killed the free market, built up a power monopoly over the money and credit system, consistently followed an intrinsically detrimental path of ceaseless borrowing and presided over the fundamentally damaging process of printing of money out of thin air, leading to the devaluation of the US dollar which now has a global reputation on a par with if not worse than that of George W. Bush.
Geithner represents a critically bloated bastard entity of government and private wealth that has manipulated interest rates and falsely inflated bubbles that have fostered an economy of moral hazard and driven the world straight into a financial black hole.
In what way does this man offer any possibility of “change”?
He now advocates the implementation of measures of predatory globalism to solve the very crisis those policies have created. And he will have the tools to do it after the recent bailout bill passed granting the Treasury virtual dictatorial powers over economic policy.
Geithner is likely to get the nod as Treasury Secretary because he best fits the appearance of change, even though he does not represent any significant change.
Consider the following from a recent New York Times article:
[...] one senior adviser said it would be important to send a message of change at a time of economic crisis. “You can expect a fresh face instead of a recycled face” at the Treasury, the adviser said. He said that would include the boyish-looking Mr. Geithner, 47, who worked at the Treasury under Mr. Clinton and his Republican predecessors and has generally gotten high marks for his role in shaping the government response to the current crisis.
These traits symbolize Obama’s presidency to the tee, he appears to offer change on the surface, but underneath he offers as little real change from the entrenched elitist system in Washington as a McCain presidency would have or if George W. Bush had simply announced he was going to serve a third term.

The other candidates for Treasury secretary are likely to pursue exactly the same path as Geithner. Those candidates are:
The former Federal Reserve chief was a key figure in the decision to suspend gold convertibility in 1971, which resulted in the collapse of the Bretton Woods system. Volcker’s policies and continued high interest rates contributed to the significant recession the US economy experienced in the early 1980s, which included the highest unemployment levels since the Great Depression.
After leaving the Fed he became chairman of J. Rothschild, Wolfensohn & Co, the prominent New York investment banking firm run by former president of the World Bank and prominent Bilderberger James D. Wolfensohn.
Volcker was also a founding member of the Trilateral Commission along with David Rockefeller, whom he has also worked with at Chase Bank and through membership of the Trust Committee of Rockefeller Group, Inc.
As of October 2006, he is the current Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Rockerfeller-founded Group of Thirty.
Former Treasury Secretary during the first and second Clinton administrations.
Rubin is as much to blame for the creation of the current financial crisis as Alan Greenspan is, as both men ignored the advice of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and strongly opposed the regulation of derivatives. Over-exposure to credit derivatives of mortgage-backed securities – or credit default swaps (CDS) was a key reason for the failure of Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, American International Group, and Washington Mutual in 2008.
On November 4, 2007, Rubin became the Chairman of Citigroup and is currently co-chairman of the board of directors of the Council on Foreign Relations. Rubin is also a member of the Group of Thirty.
Former chief Economist for the World Bank (1991–1993) and Secretary of the Treasury for the last year and a half of the Clinton administration. Also served as the 27th President of Harvard University from 2001 to 2006.
Summers has been persistently criticized as an ardent proponent of globalization.
He has been involved in scandal several times, but perhaps the most notable was in December 1991 while at the World Bank. Summers signed a memo, which was subsequently leaked to the press, stating that developed countries ought to export more pollution to developing countries because these countries would incur the lowest cost in terms of lost wages of people made ill or killed. An aside to the memo stated that “the economic logic behind dumping a load of toxic waste in the lowest wage country is impeccable and we should face up to that”.
Summers is also a member of the Group of Thirty, the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission.
So there you have it, choose your poison. Although they all have different labels they originate from the same bottle. These people do not represent change, they represent a continuation of the same elitist system that has no allegiance to the US and has been driving the American economy into the ground as part of its maniacal agenda for decades.

Setup for failure and (again) offering no real solutions…The fact is that this article would read exactly the same regardless of who Obama chooses and I can imagine several more articles exactly like this one will be on the pages of prisionplanet in the near future.
I grow tired of these writers’ ambitious articles offering so much opinion and words of persuasion (”choose your poison”) when they offer absolutely no solutions of their own within their scripts…Perhaps it takes too much effort to even include a list of viable alternatives but I would much rather believe the author is stronger than that. A better answer might be that it’s simply not part of the job to inform the readers?
At the end we are all left in the same spot with no where to go: in agreement with the author. So now what? Do we have to wait until you decide to enlighten us in your next script?

I agree with B Bossin. This is article addresses the question on everyone’s mind, whether they understand the Federal Reserve Conspiracy or not. And while the article is not particularly well written, it does what journalism is supposed to: provides information, and allows us to see the tyrants’ sales pitch.

Ferry is close john galt, but I do agree that giving love to obama or anyone involved in
this web is simply rediculous. bottom line is if everyone on this site on sight truely wants
change, than you have to leaders. The reason there are so many problems in the world

WOW!!! that is pretty crazy how this happens to go down just now of all times. So now you have the generation of poeple who lived through the WW2 and cold wars about to be to old. And a wasteland generation (My generation falls right in the middle i’m 26years old). So we are ripe for the plucking. Less people are gonna be paying into the system then are taking out. And they just made the growth from that generation disapear into thin air.
So basically, under current sastitics, we will be 70% short on skilled trades. We will not have enough able young/trained people to maintain the current infrastructure. And why then have we been building houses in excess for the last decade. Have you ever not been able to find a place to live?????? We also won’t have enough young to care for the old.
Think and research those implications as well when considering social and political agendas. It’s almost as though someone was shrewdly guiding the whole process along.

Good points about no solutions being offered. I have been into the alternative history for 6 years now, and after listening to shows everyday, reading thousands of articles, numerous books, what do I have? I have same old stories of evil men controlling everything, how they do this, how they do that, etc etc etc. What now? Can we get a real opposition? Ohh wait, anybody who is for any real solutions is being labeled as a “FED” right away, as I have heard Alex Jones himself say on his show. Man calls and talks about us doing something real, but Alex mocks him and says that is what “Feds” do.

Just thought I’d share some facts. If you study you history you’ll find that another person similar to Obama gain control of a country with similar tactics. He spoke of “Hope and Change” promised both not to mention he promised many things to many groups. He told people what they wanted to hear. He went around to the various groups and promised them want they wanted. He was really a nobody with very little power. However, he became a spectaculor orator. By making promises to everyone during a time when everyone wanted change he gained support. He would have large crowds gather to hear him speak. He’s rallies where wonderfully staged and huge productions. He would fly down in an airplane to cheering people and musicians. He would speak of the problems and promise change and hope. During one speach He even promised girl a husband. It was during a world wide depression and in his area unemployment was around 40%, properties values had plummeted and there was unrest and uncertainty about the future. He embarked on massive campaing spending more than was ever spent in that countried history. A campaign of “Change” and “Hope”. I could go on about how similar this historical time was to ours but I’ll just say He won and won big. That man was HITLER.

You have to check out http://hookk.com . You can leave comments on any news article on the web and it enters it into the hookk stream for others (mainstream news watchers) to see. Really simple and brilliant news aggregator.
Very useful tool for getting the word out. We need to take the mainstream media down a notch. The hookks (comments) sit right along side the article being discussed and is not edited or filtered. It’s like bullhorning the media.
I have seen a couple of infowars and prisonplanet articles on the homepage. I reckon we should get the mainstream articles on there and tear em’ to shreads.

Dont worry about cops or being beat up. People die in revolutions. People lose interest in what is going on around them. You have every opprotunity to get involved in your governing. If they had total control over you they would not need it. Learn about propaganda and how to recognize it as well as brainwahing techniques. Fear tactics are among these techniques, Alex Jones is pretty good with this one. The government fears you more than they control you my friend. They keep you too busy in your everyday rat race and self indulgences to notice what is going on around you. You won’t see what my left hand is doing if your right one is in front of your face, The power comes in a unified voice. Not repeating some tired conspiracy theory. The government won’t listen to one of you or even 10 of you. They cannot ignore 10,000 or 100,000 of you with a unified voice. Stop worrying about this silly shit Alex Jones puts on you. Alex Jones is not perfect. He is no genius. Some of his idea’s are fueled by too much emotion.
However, most of his stuff is slam-bang accurate. Alex Jones does not claim to have all the answers. He is a little over dramatic, but that is irrelevant. One cannot make a cogent argument that demonstrates “drama” as an inherent “red-flag”.
Sure, he wants to sell things. Does he want to sell things to make money? Or does he want to sell things to support his cause? Either way, you can make a CLAIM for his motivations, but never really make a good case.
You can never PROVE motivation. Motivation is not the realm of logic, but rather reason. The sad thing is, most people do not even have a CONCEPTION of the idea of reason. Instead, they are only satisfied with what can be 100% proven through deductive logic; unfortunately, reason is looked upon as something that simply does not exist, because the question of, “can you PROVE that?” can always be asked.
People who only use deductive logic, can always “prove” their case; of course, the very a-priori assumptive axioms from which they rest and establish their “proofs” are not always clear.
This is because, in order to “prove” something, you must demonstrate a 1-1 comparison with a fundamentally ACCEPTED idea. Who determines what the fundamentally excepted ideas are?
The people who determine the fundamentally accepted ideas are, essentially, a handful of academicians in highly prestigious universities such as Harvard, Oxford etc. They set the rules for what is acceptable pedagogical science/literature. Usually, they form committee’s and such to come to some fundamental framework.
Einstein demonstrated through the Theory of Relativity that many of Newton’s fundamental assumptions were simply, wrong.
Did this cause the fundamental pedagogies of physics to change to more accurate principles? Nope.
They still teach Newton’s assumptions, even though they do not match up with the more accurate and intricate laws of Relativity.
Math is taught as a bunch of formula’s and equations, but no or little attention is given to the actual principles at work.
Because people do not have a true understanding of science they see it essentially as computer science or “information theory”. In information theory, essentially, if a single 0 or 1 is incorrect, the WHOLE logic is incorrect.
In real science, you have concepts, or PRINCIPLES which actually determine STRATEGIC shifts or movements within any given dynamic.
For example, no one can ever PROVE what the weather will do, but inductively it can be assigned an intelligible chance of occurrence.
This is not the best example, because no statistical theory demonstrates an application of science, therefore the PRINCIPLE of weather forecasting cannot easily be found.
However, in most cases, the PRINCIPLE of science CAN be found; this is most obvious in the case of gravity. Gravity demonstrates the very principle of space-time itself.
Newton’s axiom assigns gravity to be a “force”, of course, “force” can never actually be defined. In the realm of sense perception, it can be understood as something that “pushes” or “pulls” something else. “Pushing” or “pulling” cannot be defined either, so you might say that “force” is simply “work”. “Work” cannot be defined EITHER. So you can go on and on and on bringing up terms which can only be understood in the realm of human sense perception, yet can never truly be defined as a scientific principle.
You see, gravity does not “pull” you, it is simply the perceptual effect of space-time “bending”. Of course “bending” is again an inaccurate analogy. Space-time simply is what it is.
Space time exists in Riemannian, hyper-geometric planes of existence. That is what gravity IS. I cannot explain Riemannian hyper-geometry much further on a message board.
EVERYTHING exists in this curved “space-time” phenomenon.
“But if not Newton, then who?” Gottfried Leibniz description of the calculus accurately relates to the principles of “space-time”.
“So why do they keep using Newton? Oh, no, don’t tell me it’s ANOTHER wacky conspiracy.”
Well, its not necessarily a “conspiracy”. But essentially, they don’t LIKE the idea’s of Leibniz for several reasons.
1) His idea’s make many people feel “uncomfortable”, because they open up a whole argument for God etc.
2) If Newton is seen as inferior to Leibniz, that would offend many generations of scientists, because it would suggest that much of what they have been teaching kids in school is flat out wrong.
3) Leibniz represents an entire SCHOOL of thought.
4) Newton was British, Leibniz was German. If Newton’s idea’s are trumped by Leibniz, people would have to question WHY Leibniz was ignored over Newton. The answers to these questions would be most unsatisfactory for many old institutions. In other words, it would open the door for more wacky “conspiracies” etc.
5) Newtons ideas create a road that leads straight to “information theory”, “deductive logic” etc. If people think this way, they are incapable of comprehending dynamic idea’s. A society that is incapable of thinking beyond the prescribed dogma, is EASILY controlled.
Albert Einstein gave credit to Riemann, Gauss, Leibniz and Kepler as being the founders of modern science. He broke apart Newton’s a-priori assumptions and axioms, as a result we now have a much more dynamic and interesting understanding of the universe. We understand that the universe is not just “balls clanging around” but rather a dynamic, interwoven nature based upon PRINCIPLES, not “forces” or “things” or (may God help us) “information”.
Most people however, still worship “information” and “deductive logic”. Even those who take it a step further and look at “inductive logic”, do not understand what a PRINCIPLE is.
For example, I claim that if you constantly lower the PHYSICAL productive capacity of an economy, then your economy will eventually crash, shut-down, and essentially become destroyed. The PRINCIPLE is true despite ANY statistical crap, despite ANY technical charts, despite ANY moving averages, despite ANYTHING ANY economist wants to say in the contrary.
If you lower the physical productive capacity of an economy, it will FAIL. PERIOD.
We have been lowering the physical productive capacity of our economy for 40 years, we have replaced it with complete and utter bullshit and fiction. We replaced it with “services” and paper.
We worship statistical charts, facts, graphs, and other nonsense, ALL THE WHILE we ignore basic fundamental PRINCIPLES of what an economy actually IS in the real world. This worship of INFORMATION created a situation where PRINCIPLES are ignored.
Keynesian idea’s APPEAR to understand principles of economy, Libertarian idea’s APPEAR to understand principles of liberty, but NEITHER ONE truly understands that we must eliminate the worship of MONEY as something that creates economy.
Keynesianism and Libertarianism will both lead to Fascism because both of them INSIST on putting the control of the money supply into the hands of the fascist banking cartels.
Keynesian’s build infrastructure, but they BORROW from the financier elite!!!
Libertarians somehow assume that the financier elite will simply “disappear” when you eliminate the government (WTF???)!!!
You will NEVER eliminate the empirical financier elite until you allow the government, through the US Constitution to generate its OWN CREDIT.
THIS WAY YOU DON’T HAVE TO BORROW A DIME FROM ANYBODY!
The financier elite waged WAR against the first and second banks of the United States. They wanted to DESTROY them and they DID.
As a result, we now have a system where we BORROW from the financiers. They don’t CARE about our silly “Constitution”, they don’t CARE about the citizens and workers of society. They simply want to grab as much power as they possibly can so their empire remains strong.
We let them do it because we have been taught in school that the Federal Reserve is GOOD.
We let them do it because we cannot break free of the “follow the leader” mentality.
FDR wasn’t perfect, but he fought the “money changers” and created CREDIT in order to build up the depleted infrastructure. He didn’t borrow from the financiers to do it, and he didn’t bail out Wall Street like Hoover did.
Alex Jones cannot “prove” there is a push to create a global empire. Like everyone else, he is not perfect, but he certainly has a much clearer understanding of what is TRUTHFUL then most. He can certainly understand inductive logic at worst.
Mr. Jones might not know who Leibniz was, but he SURE AS HECK has used his creative mind to make a difference.
He did not follow a formula, or a prescription. He DYNAMICALLY uses his mind to do what he believes is RIGHT.
And THAT, is MUCH more powerful then dotting your i’s and crossing your t’s to perfection (much like President elect Obama).
“Do the right thing” might be a formula for success, but it does not mean you can think independently from the “good” opinion of others.
Has Obama demonstrated an ability to THINK for himself?

They got a dumbfounded, clueless, clumsy IDIOT (Paulson, and Greenspan too) to tear the system down. Now, it looks like they will get an EVIL idiot to build the system back up into fascism.

Understood. However, no solution was given for organization. Alex Jones and voices similar to his allow for a semblance of organization to those who would have it. Ron Paul, although his voice is not silent, may as well be for the amount of credibility it is given. Therefore, numbers must be larger than the ones you mentioned. I’m for Ron Paul and pray his voice becomes louder, and the enlightened grow in numbers. All this being said, we need to be heard, but more than simple organization would be necessary for general enlightenment.

Your comment #100 about Alex Jones is one of the finest I have ever read. I doubt that most have taken the time to read the entire thing since in a place like this it is both long and of course rather exceptionally detailed with accuracy of what most people do not use and that is logic.

I must say I have been wondering for some time if these sites are not run by the very people that they are supposed to be black listing. All of these organizations get infiltrated, green peace… you name it. They may start out good but in this case it almost sounds like this may not have even have been the case. Anyway I think the purpose of these sites is to keep everybody busy with what is actually irrelevant. None of this ranting about the past achieves anything more than making everyone just seem like crazies, joining a band wagon that is already getting old. The real problems, the stuff we should really be worried about, I bet it isn’t getting published anywhere, everyone is too preoccupied with handing around second hand rubbish, that is already old news. I wouldn’t mind betting sites like this actually don’t publish what we should really be worried about, they just get all the attention and everybody turns to them, thinking they are getting all they should be worried about but I doubt this is the case.
