The death of Republican “IT guru” Mike Connell last Friday in a fiery plane crash has been the subject of intense speculation online about whether it might have been murder — but very little of that speculation has made it into the national media. Now one local TV station in Connell’s home state of Ohio is acknowledging that there are questions about his death.
“Well, this sounds like a made up story,” Scott Taylor of 19 Action News in Cleveland began. “One man rigging state elections to help his boss, President George Bush. After it’s done, power players in Washington say ‘Get rid of the guy.’ Do I believe it? No — for now.”
Taylor noted that “bad weather could have played a part in the crash” but “some in Washington have a different opinion.”
“Some say Connell was about to reveal embarrassing details involving senior members of the Bush Administration,” Taylor explained, “including their involvement in destroying incriminating emails and rigging elections. Connell died on impact, and was only 3 miles from the Akron-Canton Airport. He was an experienced pilot. Was it an accident, or murder?”

Connell had played a central role in two separate Bush administration scandals. He had created the website for the Ohio secretary of state’s office which some have linked to suspected election fraud during the 2004 presidential race. He also set up the domains which White House staff used for their off-the-books emails concerning the firing of US Attorneys, emails which are now said to have been destroyed.
In a press release cited by 19 Action News, the website Velvet Revolution revealed that “a person close to Mr. Connell has recently been discussing with a VR investigator how Mr. Connell can tell all about his work for George Bush. Mr. Connell told a close associate that he was afraid that the George Bush and Dick Cheney would ‘throw [[him] under the bus.’ A tipster close to the McCain campaign disclosed to VR in July that Mr. Connell’s life was in jeopardy and that Karl Rove had threatened him and his wife.”
19 Action News also reported on Sunday that Connell had previously been warned by a friend that his plane might be sabotaged and had canceled two flights because of suspicious problems.
BradBlog notes that although the Velvet Revolution press release has appeared on the New York Times website, that paper has not offered any comment of its own on Connell’s death, nor have US media in general reported on the growing speculation — although even the British press has mentioned it — which makes the Action News coverage all the more striking.
“Was it an accident — or murder?” Taylor wondered, before concluding that the crash “was probably not a conspiracy.”

He was an experienced pilot who flew in bad weather before, landed at night at that airport 100’s of times before. His plane had been messed with before this. Knowing what we know about how things work now–in Washington–? We need to follow this story as it develops!

Uh…given what I know about 9/11, JFK, RFK, etc…I’d say this was definitely a murder.
A guy with that much damaging information had to be terminated, and he was. The questions are who, what, where, when, and how. We already know “Why.”

That said, it must be admitted, if you can read this, then no one is mindfully blocking access to the
quote. It must be some inanimate software keyword blocking or suchlike process that has no human hands-on component.
Still, it must be questioned very carefully, because the blocking is very one-sided, and suspect in its nature.

It really is convenient that Connell died at this time. It’s also convenient that the DC madam died at that time. It’s also convenient that Eliot Spitzer got caught when he did. All of this pure luck! Also remember what happened to the whistleblowers in Iraq working for Haliburton.

Maybe he got smart and disappeared. They don’t mention if the plane burned or if the body was identifiable after such an impact. Always possibility a body from a morgue or something got substituted. Guess I watch too much television. Anything is possible from my experience.

Cleaning neglect blamed in VA hospital infestation

Maggots were born in the noses of two comatose patients four years ago at a city Veterans Administration hospital infested by mice and flies, according to a medical journal report released today.
The story in the Archives of Internal Medicine details the 1998 infestation. It said mice would sometimes dash over the feet of employees in the hospital director’s suite.
Hospital officials said the hospital no longer has any cleanliness problems. Barbara Shatto, the hospital’s quality manager, said the hospital scored 99 out of 100 when it was inspected by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospital Organizations in October.
“We learned from that incident and took action to make sure it doesn’t happen again,” said Pat Landon, the hospital’s director of facilities.
The infestation started with a housecleaning oversight, according to the article.
Stephen Klotz, then the hospital’s chief of infectious disease, said the mice moved in after the cafeteria and food storage areas were dropped from a cleaning list. Some areas weren’t cleaned for at least a year, according to the article.
By July 1998, a pest control contractor put out bait and glue boards to kill the mice.
Inspectors later found dead mice in food storage rooms, mouse nests behind boxes on food shelves, and mouse droppings on the floor of a cafeteria work room. Live mice were found in a large wastebasket.
Cleaners missed some of the dead mice, which attracted flies.
Electronic fly-control devices were installed, and pest-control workers began using live traps for the mice.
Some of the flies flew into the hospital’s intensive care unit, where they were trapped by automatic doors and kept away from mouse carcasses.
Maggots were found in the nostrils of one patient on July 22, 1998, the article said. Maggots were found in the nose of a second patient on Sept. 30, 1998.
Klotz said the maggots were removed immediately and that neither patient was harmed by the infestation. The first patient died two days after the maggots were found, but the cause of death was unrelated.
“They’re ghastly,” he said, “but they’re harmless.”

If he did steal Ohio, then perhaps his demise is just, even if it also covers the arses other post-powerbrokers.
At this point, the quest for “legacy” is devolving into a quest to duck post-administration indictments, incarceration, humiliation, and general retribution for various accumulated evils.

Another “no brainer”. It’s like when a witness has goods on the mob, and then suddenly before the trial they die in a tragic “accident”. Anyone who says otherwise is oblivious to mathematical odds, in on it, or just plain scared stupid. It’s pathetic. What’s next? Alex Jones ODeed in Marylin’s hotel room?
To me, it’s just more proof that the American justice system is controlled by the bad guys, pretty much. Lording over a bunch of paid minions who for the most part would rather turn a blind eye when told to.
