A common charge leveled against global warming skeptics is that they are on the payroll of transnational oil companies, when in fact the opposite is true, oil companies are amongst the biggest promoters of climate change propaganda, emphasized recently by Exxon Mobil’s call for a global carbon tax.
According to Exxon Mobil chief executive Rex Tillerson, the cap and trade nightmare being primed for passage in the Senate doesn’t go far enough – Tillerson wants a direct tax on carbon dioxide emissions, essentially a tax on breathing since we all exhale this life-giving gas.
In a speech last month, Tillerson brazenly called out the cap and trade agenda for what it was, an effort to impose a carbon tax camouflaged only by a slick sales pitch and deceptive rhetoric.
“It is easier and more politically expedient to support a cap-and-trade approach, because the public will never figure out where it is hitting them,” said Tillerson. “They will just know they hurt somewhere in their pocketbook,” he added, pointing out that he disagreed with this convoluted method of introducing a carbon tax, arguing instead that it would be more successful to openly propose a straight carbon tax.
Tillerson firmly expressed Exxon’s support for climate change alarmists in stating, “I firmly believe it is not too late for Congress to consider a carbon tax as the better policy approach for addressing the risks of climate change.”
Exxon’s push for a carbon tax was restated last week by its vice president for public affairs Ken Cohen, who told a conference call that he wants a climate policy that creates “certainty and predictability, which is why we advocate a carbon tax.”
Exxon Mobil and their ilk are not concerned about a carbon tax eating into their profits because they know they won’t have to pay it – the tab will be picked up by the ignorant taxpayer at the fuel pump at an inflated cost which if anything will hand the transnational oil cartels an even bigger cut.
Ideologically, Al Gore and Exxon Mobil are on exactly the same page – the only difference between the oil companies and global warming alarmists is the squabble over who will get to sink their teeth into the taxpayer and reap the dividends of the climate change scam.

Whereas parasites like Al Gore and Maurice Strong, the people who own the very carbon trading systems they claim will save the earth from CO2 emissions, want to enrich themselves to the tune of billions under a cap and trade scheme where they take a percentage of each transaction, the oil companies want to bypass this completely by simply imposing a direct CO2 tax. The consequence for the taxpayer under either scenario will be exactly the same, and the profits under both schemes would go towards filling the coffers of the global government that will enforce the whole scam.
Emphasizing again that oil companies are firmly behind the idea of man-made climate change and the introduction of a CO2 tax, in 2007 the Trilateral Commission, one of the three pillars of the new world order in alliance with Bilderberg and the CFR, met in near secrecy to formulate policy on how best they could exploit global warming fearmongering to ratchet up taxes and control over how westerners live their lives.
At the confab, European Chairman of the Trilateral Commission, Bilderberger and chairman of British Petroleum Peter Sutherland, gave a speech to his elitist cohorts in which he issued a “Universal battle cry arose for the world to address “global warming” with a single voice.”
Echoing this sentiment was General Lord Guthrie, director of N.M. Rothschild & Sons, member of the House of Lords and former chief of the Defense Staff in London, who urged the Trilateral power-brokers to “Address the global climate crisis with a single voice, and impose rules that apply worldwide.” Rules that no doubt will benefit the Rothschild family empire due to their personal ownership of a huge chunk of the carbon trading market.
Allegations that skeptics of the man-made explanation behind global warming are somehow doing the bidding of the elite are laughable in the face of the fact that Rothschild operatives and the very chairman of British Petroleum are the ones orchestrating an elitist plan to exploit global warming fears in order to achieve political objectives.
During the 2007 meeting, elitists along with oil industry kingpins called for imposing a $1 dollar per gallon tax at the fuel pump under the justification of fighting pollution and climate change.
Globalists love global warming. Oil industry kingpins, Bilderbergers and Rothschild minions have all put their weight behind it. This is a fraud conceived, nurtured and promulgated by elite, and to castigate individuals for merely questioning the motives behind climate change fearmongering by accusing them of being mouthpieces for the establishment is a complete reversal of the truth.
Claims by climate change alarmists that “deniers” are all funded by oil companies is yet another crudely contrived hoax. In reality, oil companies are the most vocal proponents of man-made climate change and the most aggressive in pushing to tax CO2 emissions.

Not realy if the hype over global warming had not happened the oil companies would still be selling their product for under $10 a barrel and would have had to build more refineries with their own money.
Now they get government money for work and are selling a product from the old refineries at ten or more times the previous rate.

The Man-made global warming hoax is being peddled out of desparation by the elites and will likely fail unless public ignorance and gullibility reach new lows.
Status quo methods for parasitic resource extraction by the elites from the public (or host) such as economic manipulation via debt and interest seem to be jeopardized by the reported declines in oil and natural gas that drive industry and economics and that can be limited and controlled in ways that renewable energy cannot.
What else could explain the recent dramatic moves by the global elite?

It’s pretty damn obvious that what Tillerson is doing is trying to kill cap-and-trade AND a carbon tax simply by advocating the one thing that he KNOWS all the retards like Alex Jones will swear black and blue is the worst thing ever – a tax.
The other reason for advocating a tax is that a tax doesn’t actually reduce emissions, it just increases the price. Cap and trade actually sets emission LIMITS rather than just increasing the COST of emissions – which is why Exxon are totally against it. They don’t give a damn about a tax – it doesn’t touch them – but reduced emissions, means reduce fossil fuel consumption, which of course means reduced profits for Exxon!
Alex Jones and his band of Moronic Men are liars – plain and simple. They will fuck you over and get rich doing it, and don’t give a shit about anything but themselves. They are siding with the elites here. Alex Jones is an NWO flunky tricking you into falling for their bullshit – and earning a pretty penny doing it.

Not crazy at all. Oil is used for heating. When you burn oil, it heats the air inside your house. If you open a door or window, some of the heated air escapes. Some escapes through seepage. Then the outdoor atmospher becomes heated. We support heating everything with oil. I have even used microwave heated baby oil to heat the body parts of my mistress before further heating her with body friction. We are in the “heat” bidnuss.

Exxon /Mobil isn’t siding with progressives, they see the writing on the wall and are expressing a preference for one type of regulation over another. All regulation of emissions will be disruptive to their business. They’re pushing for the policy that is LESS disruptive to their business model.
This has nothing to do with them shunning skeptics. Exxon/Mobil still financially supports junk scientists and the organizations that hire them despite promises to the contrary.

Please could some Pro-CO2-tax idiot take a minute to explain to me how a tax will reverse the effects of climate change? Is the planets temperature relative to how rich bankers/politician get?
Fair enough a tax will encourage people to breath less, burn less and consume less but how does that reverse climate change? Specially when most folk will just pay the stupid tax and the bankers/politicians will rub they’re hands together so much that will start casuing global warming…
I’d possibly consider a tax if they atleast explained how they plan to use it to reverse our catastrophic effect we have on this planet. Talking about serious issues like replanting rain forests, removing pollution or funding research to alternative energy. Making a bunch of cockgobblers even richer than they already are isn’t going to help our planet in the slightest! Only goal I see is transferring money from low/medium classes to the higher classes, like they need anymore of that!!

The science behind CO2 and global warming is older than computers! Leaving aside computer modeling, physics alone tells us that CO2 is a “greenhouse gas” – it absorbs radiation in certain bands and re-emits it in random directions – this results in trapping radiated heat from the surface in the atmosphere rather than it escaping into space.
This is laboratory proven AND proven by direct observation – CO2 is a greenhouse gas, and greenhouse gases warm the earth. If the greenhouse effect wasn’t real and working all the time, this planet would be a frozen block of ice.
The ONLY doubt about the science is how MUCH warming will be caused by any given unit of CO2 released into the atmosphere. THAT is where models come in.
Any fool who believes the liars like Alex Jones rather than over a centuries worth of good science from REAL scientists, is not only a retard – but should probably kill himself now, as he’ll only end up drowning in his own drool anyway.

Makes sense, to me. Oil Co’s are owned by the Banksters, and who will end-up getting all that “carbon tax”?? My personal answer, is to make and use my own ethanol. IF you do it as part of a permaculture (I HATE that term) setting, it is quite economical. Less than $1/gal.
Plus, you end-up with fish, chickens, pigs, mushrooms, and healthy soil, all organic!

The current “cap and trade” bill being written excludes energy companies such as Exxon/Mobil from any carbon taxes, which is why they support Cap and Trade.
The only energy producers that will be assessed a tax under the “cap and trade” bill will be the utility companies, which will be passed onto the, as Obama and his elitists scoundrels say, “Eaters”.

First the government before chavez was in had to bail the hilton out and abought over 50% of there shares back in 95 when the hilton was having problems. So they already owned most of it, and there was a 20 year consession that had expired. So they made then sell the rest of there shares. so thats the real story. If anyone was serious about global warming and CO2 reduction they would bring back the electric car. Of course all the electric cars were leased and never really sold to the general public, that’s so big oil and Detroit could grab them back and crush them in the Arizona desert. The marvelous batteries used in the cars were bought up by Texas Oil and patterns placed on them so you and I can never use them again unless they say so. Not only would electric cars not use the oil cartels gasoline but it would also make obsolete the use of motor oil (now $3.67 per quart plus tax) and the electric car hardly ever needs repairs. So the automechanic cartel would be out of business. And no aftermarket parts kickbacks for Detroit.
It makes me want to sell my house, move to Alaska, build a log cabin and grow and hunt my own food. Just drop out of this masonic, corrupt society.

You’ll be doing way more hunting than growing in Alaska. You’ll be growing for a few months and hunting for many. Good luck if you like a steady diet of meat. Very little fiber in the diet for most of the year unless you go to an oil heated grocery store and buy something green. You will probably get constipated from your newfound protenacious diet. Unless you eat dried lima beans and lentil soup you will not pass gas and you will probably contract strangulated hemmorhoids. Butt you will probably need “petroleum jelly” to get the proper and necessary relief. Butt in Alaska, the Petro Jelly will be solid unless you heat it using oil, which will pollute the atmosphere to the point where nothing will grow even during the short growing season. Doesn’t sound good to me. Did you hear the one about the constipated mathematician? He had to work it out with a pencil!!!

If you can ask me to watch The Denial Machine, I’d like to ask you to watch The Great Global Warming Swindle. Both films make good points, and they’re both professionally produced, so you don’t know whether to trust the propaganda. The Denial Machine insists that emissions from our industry (not our breathing) is trapping heat and causing trouble where it’s supposed to be cold. The Great Global Warming Swindle makes the point that globally, temperatures aren’t being overaffected by industry because the earth is self-regulating temperature-wise. The Denial Machine is cute because it takes what the global warming alarmists believe and expounds on it. The Great Global Warming Swindle is interesting because they give you reasons for propagandists to make other films whereas The Denial Machine denies the need to check alternate views other than the “established” science (of 2000 scientists, not the 30,000+ scientists who disagree). It’s silly to be passing new laws on emissions when the biggest and richest company, ExxonMobil, has all their old plants and infrastructure grandfathered and exempt from the Clean Air Act in the USA. It’s the old stuff that is still running and leaking that creates huge volumes of emissions. I live on a 38,000 acre South Texas Ranch with ExxonMobil. They have leased the place since the 1930’s — it’s still huffing and puffing away on old grandfathered plants. They not only pollute, they are wasteful.
