The eight years of Dick Cheney’s memorable vice-presidency will be over and done with two weeks from now, but MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann remains determined to get in his parting shots at “Crazy Vice-President Gate.”
On Monday, Olbermann found his opportunity in Cheney’s remarks on Face the Nation when asked whether we are better off than eight years ago.
“I think we’ve done some very good things in the course of the last eight years,” Cheney replied. “Defending the country against further terrorist attacks like 9/11 I think’s a major accomplishment, for example.”
Olbermann was clearly offended by Cheney’s claim that preventing another 9/11 meant the nation was now better off than before 9/11, but it was the remarks which followed that really got him steamed.

“There’s no question about what the new administration … are going to have their hands full with,” Cheney went on to say. “The new set of problems, if you will, centered especially on the economy … just as our task when we came in was ultimately to deal with the aftermath of 9/11.”
“Listen, you fatuous, condescending lunatic,” Olbermann erupted. “Your task was not to deal with the aftermath of 9/11 — it was to prevent 9/11.”
“And if you utterly whiffed,” concluded Olbermann, “on the most important test of all the presidencies in your lifetime, Mr. Cheney, you do not get credit for getting a C on the pop quizzes that followed.”

I enjoy Olbermann’s special comments and all, but I hope he will hold Obama to the same levels that he does for Bush. This is probably wishful thinking, but if he goes and defends Obama all the time, then he’ll lose my support.

Cudos to this guy. Adressing the issue in the only fashion the American public understands; with aggressive styled humor. With aggressivness he might acctually make them snap out of their trance-like-state, and start questioning subject.

9/ 11 must have been an inside job as the architects and engineers who know about the properties of steel frame buildings say, but Cheney and big oil etc profited handsomely from the war it triggered., and Olbermann only now raises his voice?

The media kept repeating the pictures of the planes crashing into the WTC and the towers falling instantly and straight into their own footprint to suggest there was a causal link when there wasn’t. Only demolition charges could have destroyed such strong buildings down to the last floor – and that quickly as the architects and engineers demonstrate. The mainstream media constantly edited out the footage of the firefighters reporting demolition charges going off in the basement and the reporters at the Pentagon saying there was no sign of a plane wreckage.
The mainstream media owned by the likes of Murdoch and Rothschild (who met with NBC Ben Silverstein socially in Corfu this summer for a chinwag) did a wonderful propaganda job – exccept for a few little glitches as the BBC reported the collapse of the third steel framed tower 20 minutes before it actually collapsed – and that tower wasn’t even hit by a plane. No! Somehow, in some process defying physics and engineering, solid steel which only melts at 4000 degrees plus and concrete that is harder to destroy than rock disintegrated instantly like a pack of cards from the impact of the other towes. That is what media “filter” as Bush’s spokesman Scott McClellan called it, told everyone, suppressing the reports of the tower being “pulled”, which the owner of the tower, who profitted from the insurance, himself let slip.
The media and their bilderberg, freemason, CIA, Vatican, zionist controllers conned the American people and drove them into a costly and bloody war that benefitted only them in terms of raising oil prices and securing the heroin trade in Afghanistan.
The same group has crashed the American financial system right now using the same approach as 1929-1932. They fed into the system dud assets given triple AAA ratings by “computer glitches”. They are poised to buy up whatever they want with their oil and drug revenues.
History books show the exact parallels as the freemasons in the same positions in banks, regulatory bodies and gov did the same thing as they did today in coordination.
The mainstream media keeps this quiet too because its owners have their hand in the cookie jar like Cheney and Halliburton had with Iraq, an excuse to go invade, cause havoc, get contracts for themselves, shoot up the price of oil for Exxon and the like and get the heroin triangle in Afghanistan.
They’ve made a fortune. There has been a huge transfer of wealth from ordinary Americans to this clique through policies and tax system.
The media fed the story that America was dependent on the Middle East for oil when anyone who checks the figures sees more comes from Canada than Saudi Arabia with Mexico up top. Anyway, smaller engines would have reduced the need for oil – but also the oil companies profits.
The whole scam had to be justified.
9/11 was the perfect excuse – only one problem.
It had to be believable. Enter the media to do an editing propaganda job in coordination.
It took years for architects and engineers to get ou the facts that no steel framed tower had ever collapsed in America in the 100 years of their existence until 3 collapsed on one day. These guys noticed:
How steel melts at over 4000 degrees but jet fuel reaches only half that temperature at most and could only affect the local area and not the entire steel structure of the WTC.
How even assuming that the plane could cause significant damage to the top of the tower to make it buckle over, there is no reason why the top of the tower didn’t just keel over and fall down onto the ground.
The weight of the top of the tower could never have made the lower floors built with steel and reinforced concrete collapse in so little time and straight into its footprint.
Operation Mockingbird was a CIA op to infiltrate agents into the media and control the message. That operation never stopped contrary to what Bush senior claimed.
Bush spokesman, Scott McClellan, called the media “the filter.”
The media packed with CIA agents and freemasons filters out anything that might disturb the propaganda bubble and warn the masses who are just there to supply troops and taxes that they are being duped by the ruling elite.
Olberman would be more credible if he’d spoken up in 2001.

Once again, Keth Olbermann show us all how a little common sense goes a long ways in exposing these pathological liar’s. Although Cheney doesn’t have the pointed vulcan ears, just take a look at his serial killer dead eyes, and the shape of his reptilian mouth. These guys can look people straight in the eye and tell an out right lie, and not blink an eye lid. The have the ability to believe in their mind the lie they tell, because they have no soul. I want to hope Olbermann will hold B. O. to the same standard as Bush and Co. , but I highly doubt it. It seems that MSNBC will become Fox News for Lefties.

Of course the US Government could not get away with 9-11 as a whole. No one is saying the office clerk at the Pentagon was in on it. Government officials can’t even keep their web messages to little boys secret. So yes, from a tactical and secrecy point of view they didn’t do it. However, that doesn’t mean that powerful forces close to the government didn’t engineer the circumstances so that Osama got the job done. And that doesn’t mean that key individuals in the Government didn’t contribute. Even if you don’t think any serving members of the Government had anything to do with 9-11 you’d be a fool to believe that influential forces outside, but with a voice in Government, didn’t know. So you’re right in once sense but you’ve taken it too far and not looked outside the box.
The problem is we’re all inside this socially engineered fishbowl so it’s hard to figure out what the dark shadows on the outside are up to.

When he was asked if Saddam’s son and grandson, who were surrounded by our forces, whether they should be captured alive (which I think would have been possible) Cheney told them that they should be killed.

LOL. I LOVE OLBERMANN. It’s funny, because I think he believes that 9/11 was intentional on the part of LIHOP in this administration, but obviously he can’t just go out and say it on t.v.
