Only 28% Of High School Students Are Familiar With The Constitution
Frightening results of Constitution Day survey indicate vast majority of students have little understanding of political system

A Constitution Day survey commissioned by the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs (OCPA) has found that the vast majority of high school students do not know that the Constitution represents the supreme law of the United States.
When asked the question What is the supreme law of the land? only 28% of public high school students in Oklahoma answered correctly.
In addition, over 75% were unable to identify the first president of the United States as George Washington, with 10% believing it was either George W. Bush or Barack Obama.
Around 75% were also unable to identify the name of the first ten amendments to the Constitution, with small percentages answer “The New Deal” and “The Ten Commandments”.
Alarmingly, just 14% were able to correctly state that the author of the Declaration of Independence was Thomas Jefferson. While 34% said they didn’t know, 7% thought that Barack Obama wrote it and 2% frighteningly believed that it had been drawn up by Michael Jackson.
11% of the students thought that the two major political parties in the U.S. were the Republicans and the Communists.
The questions, posed by national research firm, Strategic Vision, are taken from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services exam, the test that all candidates to become U.S. citizens must take.
As noted by the OCPA in their write up of the survey results, while around 92% of the people who take the citizenship test pass on their first attempt, only 2.8% of the students surveyed would have passed the citizenship test.

Out of 1000 students surveyed, only 6 of them got more than 7 questions correct, and only 108 got more than half of the questions correct.
“In short, Oklahoma’s public high-school students have displayed a profound level of ignorance regarding American history, government, and geography.” the OCPA concludes.
The OCPA also notes that when the same survey was done recently in Arizona, a similar figure, only 3.5%, of Arizona’s high-school students passed the citizenship test.

Wow, how disturbing is this? When kids know more about MTV award shows than they do about the very document that founded this free Constitutional Republic that our ancestors gave their lives for. Great job, Department of Education, you goddamn social engineers! The Constitution should be taught in a separate, REQUIRED course in every high school!

Why is it not taught in our schools? Your right that should be a requirement on federal and state exams that you pass a constitutional test before you even get into High School. Seems like an easy enough program that could be implemended and enlighten many children instead of this MTV Obamacrap. Well, I remember the public indoctrination center that I spent my high school days in, only about 4 or 5 years ago. The Constitution was rarely even mentioned. I can only recall one year that our history teacher actually gave a crap enough to teach us about the Bill of Rights. I don’t believe she works there anymore…

I came out of highschool in ‘07. In the entire time there, the only mention of the constitution was the ‘freedom, citizenship, vote’ of the 13th, 14th and 15th amendment. That was given because we where ’studying’ the civil war (which was supposedly entirely about slavery). In Texas, the schools are so fixated on the TAKS that there is no real learning at all. Even in 12th grade after I had passed that stupid test with flying colors, almost all day – every day, I was forced to practice for that TAKS test. The students are taught almost nothing else. I almost dropped out because that place drove me nuts. When I have children, I will most likely home school them. No child deserves this.
In pre-calculus – only TAKS. In chemistry – no real chemistry (a whole week on scientific notation and never got to use any instrument, even though they where available). In physics – no real physics, TAKS. English – TAKS primarily. For anyone who has any desire to learn anything, highschool is an extremely depressing place to be.
Even the special ed isn’t there to help people. The criteria to get into special ed without any physical problems was that the student takes a IQ and be examined by the school counselor. If the IQ is much above that which would be expected in your grades, you are diagnosed ‘emotionally disturbed’. The school gets all sorts of extra money because you are now labeled. What’s really stupid is that this keeps the slow learners from really getting help.
I am actually surprised that these numbers are as high as they are. They have absolutely no clue about the outside world beyond what comes thought the TV. All most of them talk about is how gangster they are or how their car goes fast. They only do what the television tells them to do or to talk about. These people are so stupid they cannot even change their own tire most of the time. They call me to change their tire, even though they have everything they need. “James, please handhold me! I can’t change a tire on my mustang by myself!” “James, why do I need to shift gears with a manual transmission? I think it’s broken, it won’t go fast!” All the while bragging about how their car has some cool feature that makes it go fast. “I’m gangster! I wear bandannas and dress weird!” So your like Al Capone? “Who’s Al Capone?”

Morality came from the Bible. Pagan religions did things like sacrifice their young children burning them alive to gods like Molec. Virgins prostituted themselves at the temples of the Pagan fertility gods.
I agree religion should be taught by parents, I for one do not want some half-wit teacher trying to teach my child anything about religion.
I do not agree however, that “good moral standards are good moral standards.” Morality is different to every individual.

There are a number of things people do that prove, including so-called Christians, that they do not have the ability to distinguish between right and wrong.

No surprise there. It wasn’t until my Junior year in Oklahoma that we had a whole two pages devouted to Napoleonic Europe… imagine, an era that dominated and has long lasting effects to only be 2 pages. We had one half year of civics… but when I lived in California or Texas, was no different. Oklahoma is not unique in this.

I was a big history fan at young age, so i grew out to be rather critical of the abysmal few pages dedicated to awesome parts of history. Not surprisingly it was full of nationalism and fake patriotism, WW2 and the entire focus on the poor Jews (while I really never support the holocaust in any way, it only made me slowly grew insensitive to the Jewish’ fates, but much more interested in the war itself, and much more.
Oh yeah, plus the whole boring ‘earth is one hundred meeeellion years old and we are all grown apes!’ indoctrination also dominated a lot too.

This is a clear indication of failure of behalf of the government school systems. 28% is a ridiculous number of students to be familiar with the Constitution. If the government schools were any kind of efficient it would 2% or less. They can’t do ANYTHING right!
As an aside, my sister thinks that “From each according to his ability to each according to his needs> ” Is from the US Constitution. The big objection is the use of “his” and not “her”, our founders were terribly insensitive to gender issues.

I recall being given the USA citizenship test my senior year of high school as a “pop quiz” the first day of my US Government class – that was in 1995; the test was slightly harder then – approximately half of my class passed; luckily, we were actually taught the Constitution in 8h grade. Although, I recall my 8th grade history teacher telling us, that “the rights guaranteed in the Constitution don’t apply to students” and refused to tell us when those rights became a “guarantee”.

You’re absolutely correct. Children nowadays are being taught the wrong things. Spelling and writing aren’t focused on in schools anymore and math skills are woefully inadequate. If you take away computers, ipods and cellphones from this generation they would be lost. But I say forget school, learn for yourself. The internet is a bastion of information.
Have you even been to a retail store with a teenage clerk manning the counter? Oftentimes he/she can’t even figure out your change without a piece of technology to assist. It’s all too common (and pathetic).

If any of you have not heard yet..
The Charter is the Declaration of Independence and
the Bill of Rights (first ten amendments.
That is the Charter.
The Constitution is an implementation designed to fulfill
the requirements and objectives
of the Charter.
Please read the Declaration of Independence and the BOR.
That is the founding document, Constitution came after (as it must!
The next time someone says your rights have been legislated
(either adding or subtracting.. doesn’t matter,
those are privileges, rights you just come with.
They all stem from the ‘right to be left be’..

The government realizes that they can not teach old dogs new tricks so, they have to go after the most impressionable of society, our kids. Government has no place in our schools.
Home school whenever possible and make sure that your children are informed. Teach them the truth, select your own topics.
Schools can not be blamed for the current education level of today’s youth, ultimately it lies and always has been, with you the parent to make sure that your children are properly educated. While you still have the right to make choices, make the right ones.

The equal protection clause of the 14th amendment of the US Constitution states that all persons are granted equal protection under the law. Abortion is a direct violation of the 14th amendment and is therefore unconstitutional.
Please get off your ass and check on each of my other points, and you will find that Obama has violated the Constitution in each of these areas. Frankly, the natural born citizen issue is the shakiest point that I made, and you accepted it unquestionably.

The natural born question is undeniable since his father was clearly not born in America.
Pre-Fetus sperm/egg whatever the fuck it is IS NOT CONSIDERED TO BE A PERSON BY ANY LAW. Maybe according to whatever church you attend it is, but not by any logical thinking individual. If you’re talking late-term abortions then you are still in a grey area that is not defined by law. So your argument there holds no water because it is illogical. You are applying your own definitions of the words in the constitution. You are not allowed to do that.
The destruction of homes in pakistan, however abhorrent, is not unconstitutional since the constitution’s sovereignty applies to american citizens only. Breaching the limits of the executive may be unconstitutional, but that’s not what you said.
Holding people at Guatanamo, likewise, is violation of international law, not national law.
I’ll give you the bailout/stimulus stuff you mentioned since that is beyond his constitutional role in the executive branch.
The cuban thing is a toal stretch on equal protection. It’s like saying everytime the government does something advantageous for anyone then it’s againt equal procection for everyone else. On the contrary, helping out a couple cuban americans get money to their relatives is nothing but a humane act to help a people who have a history of not receiving the same equal proctection as their white counterparts.

The CONstitution is not the supreme law of the “United States.” It is four pieces of parchment that nobody has ever signed, and I’m unaware of anybody in this country who has ever signed anything agreeing to be legally bound by any of its provisions. It actually has no legally binding aspect to it at all, which means that the federal government is completely illegitimate, and has no legal authority over anybody at all.

Funny that you mentioned the planets and the solar system. When I started to look at the world upside down from the way that I was taught, everything started to make more sense. Just turn the globe around with the south pole on the top. Your brain resists, but you then realize that there is no top or bottom in space. I believe most of the results of open tests at schools are just the results of peer pressure. From my own experience the children can’t be serious about such tests at that moment. If this is a individual test done in a one on one, serious environment though.. that would be a lot worse.
Just remember how bad classrooms are, kids are also forced to survive in a low-oxygen state. Try it out some time in a small room with no ventilation, and all the windows closed. You’ll fall asleep pretty fast.
Either way, i’m actually pretty happy that around 10% of the kids actually know their stuff! 10% should definitely be enough to kick ass together with.

To all who find the religious stuff a little overwhelming and would like some historical clarity to end the confusion and frenzy I dedicate this post.
The funniest thing about the massive amounts of churchist misinterpretations anent the “mark of the beast” topic, is that they always confuse the meaning with barcodes, drivers license numbers, social security numbers and a great plethora of unrelated drivel…..
In truth the meaning of the 666 number can be very easily and succinctly explained, though no doubt this simple truth will be condemmed as yet another blasphamy by some…
In Biblical Revelations, it states to the effect that the “number of the beast” is a human number of a named individual and that person is so powerful that he can buy the obedience of everyone, free or slave…!! And his mark (the number of his name) will be placed on all right hands or foreheads to confirm their compliance. Which is truly figurative and not unlike the placing of the number 144,000 on the foreheads of initiates and very much a Hebrew notion.
So who is this powerful individual that sets such high standards of obedience among the people of the nations?? One word describes him, and that is; CAESAR. So, this person holds the office named after Julius Caesar and can be interpreted very simply by a well known verse that was used by Julius Caesar and became his trademark (mark of the beast.)
Caesar and that would include all Emperors of Rome who took his name, officially and the title “Caesar,” such as Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius and Nero…That is the Julian family….The Flavians and others also took the name Caesar, which even lends itself to imperial titles such as Tsar, Shah, Kaisar, etc.
Now what trademark verse was Julius Caesar renowned for? It was, of course the famous phrase; “I saw, I came, I conquered…!!!” Or, in Latin; Vidi Vini Vici. Now being a well known phrase and trademark used first by Julius and then by all Caesars, it became synonimous with his name, his method, his office of state, the all conquering Caesar, with that quality bestowed upon all successors and heirs. So this defining trademark was indeed familiar to his supporers and likewise, familiar to his enemies, such as those writers of biblical verses, including the revelation of St John.
Now a method of attributing a number to a name was well known amoung Hebrew scholars and it tied in with Chaldean numerology. However one startling thing about the Caesar trademark phrase, is that you can attribute Roman numerals to it and this seems to underline the very “foreign” (to Jews) nature of the number derived, as very closely corresponding to and with the individual it is associated with. Obviously, the use of Roman numerals must mean the individual has great power over “all people,” which of course, was the case during the Roman Empire of the 1st century AD, when the early Christian sect was in it’s infancy, yet growing and not unlike the Taliban of the day. Very much an underground movement with great animosity towards Roman rule. So if we repeat the Caesar phrase, “vidi vini vici” and then look for an unholy (non-Jewish) number represented by Roman numerals, we clearly see VIdi VIni VIci, or VI VI VI…..
Now, for those who are not aware of that number, it is none other than 666.
So you have a name, a number and a despised tyrannical office ruling over slaves and freeman alike, but materially seducing them all, which of course, Caesar could do at the time in question. “Render unto Caesar what is his…!” Which was just about everything and everyone in those days.
Since the “Great Beast “was a name used to describe Caesar, I see that it is not just another way of describing Julius Caesar, but a more appropriate candidate for that title would be none other than NERO CAESAR, who at the time of his rule, was in the bizarre and wicked habit of ordering christians to be fed to BEASTS in the arena. So of all the ravaging beasts that may tear flesh from martyrs, who had the greatest and most savage quality?? That would be the Caesar who owned all, free or slave, and ruled in place of his ancestor, Julius, and so assumed the title and everything that went with it, including the number 666.

I gave this test to my Sophmore son, he missed a couple (term of Senator). But when the test showed only 23%, of the 1000 tested students, knew George Washington was the 1st President of the United States, he concluded that the students were messing around with the test. Giving dumb answers on purpose because that is what High School students do.
Have any of you ever seen the old Tonight Show Jay Leno walking the streets. People would have the dumbest answers. Is that real? Or do they know who Jay Leno is and say the stupidest things they can think of so they can watch themselves on National TV?

Having become extremely aware of propaganda, subliminal programing etc., I could not help but notice how two of the pictures in this article put Obama’s face behind the tearing up/burning of the Constitution.
He is guilty of upholding Bush’s laws…which are unconstitutional…so why isnt Bush’s face there as well?
They are both equally wrong. Bush for all the crap he did and Obama for letting it stand.

Some of these kids are actually much brighter than what they are being portrayed as. Many of them know about the New World Order and knowing this information may have been one of the reasons why they scored so low on the test. Without seeing all of their responses, it’s hard to tell. Everyone who answered the questions correctly only did so because of indoctrination. People are only repeating what they have been taught. If you know about the NWO, then some of the answers to the questions are actually wrong. For example:
“What is the supreme law of the land?” Answer: The Constitution
If the Constitution was the supreme law of the land then why are our rights being usurped on a daily basis?
“Who is in charge of the executive branch?” Answer: The President
If you know about the NWO, then you know the President is not in charge.
“What are the two major political parities in the United States?” Answer: Democratic and Republican
The two party system is an illusion. There is one party and they have one goal in mind. It’s called the NWO.
It’s amazing how so many people will talk bad about the kids not knowing about the Constitution. But what these people don’t know is they are wrongly interpreting the Constitution themselves. In other words, over 99% of the people in the United States of America don’t know that “United States”, “U.S.”, and “United States of America” are not synonymous. They also don’t know that the Preamble is not talking about them.
“We the People” are referring to the elite who run the world, not the people in the United States of America. This is why “United States” and “United States of America” are both used in the Preamble and throughout the Constitution. “United States” is referring to the Federal Government. “United States of America” is referring to the states. Now go back and re-read the Preamble and the rest of the Constitution and see for yourself.
This why the schools do not focus on the U.S. Constitution.

I think Alex is an extremely sharp man that has used,primarily 911, as a springboard to accomplish an agenda. Only GOD knows what that is. He has a venue and voice that we do not, but that gives me a moment of pause . Is it simply just that he is the howard stern of internet entertainment and that we are quite simply a quasi informed mass. I tbelieve Alex is a very smart man who should have attempted to seriously enter political public life as an elected official but he chose to refrain for his own reasons. Being from Hudson County, NJ. I understand that choice. It is not easily done in this “day and age” My question is…IS the Alex Jones Show entertainment for those of us “fool hardy” enough to believe that there are good men left who truly care about this country and the future generations.

To all who find the religious stuff a little overwhelming and would like some historical clarity to end the confusion and frenzy I dedicate this post.
The funniest thing about the massive amounts of churchist misinterpretations anent the “mark of the beast” topic, is that they always confuse the meaning with barcodes, drivers license numbers, social security numbers and a great plethora of unrelated drivel…..
In truth the meaning of the 666 number can be very easily and succinctly explained, though no doubt this simple truth will be condemmed as yet another blasphamy by some…
In Biblical Revelations, it states to the effect that the “number of the beast” is a human number of a named individual and that person is so powerful that he can buy the obedience of everyone, free or slave…!! And his mark (the number of his name) will be placed on all right hands or foreheads to confirm their compliance. Which is truly figurative and not unlike the placing of the number 144,000 on the foreheads of initiates and very much a Hebrew notion.
So who is this powerful individual that sets such high standards of obedience among the people of the nations?? One word describes him, and that is; CAESAR. So, this person holds the office named after Julius Caesar and can be interpreted very simply by a well known verse that was used by Julius Caesar and became his trademark (mark of the beast.)
Caesar and that would include all Emperors of Rome who took his name, officially and the title “Caesar,” such as Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius and Nero…That is the Julian family….The Flavians and others also took the name Caesar, which even lends itself to imperial titles such as Tsar, Shah, Kaisar, etc.
Now what trademark verse was Julius Caesar renowned for? It was, of course the famous phrase; “I saw, I came, I conquered…!!!” Or, in Latin; Vidi Vini Vici. Now being a well known phrase and trademark used first by Julius and then by all Caesars, it became synonimous with his name, his method, his office of state, the all conquering Caesar, with that quality bestowed upon all successors and heirs. So this defining trademark was indeed familiar to his supporers and likewise, familiar to his enemies, such as those writers of biblical verses, including the revelation of St John.
Now a method of attributing a number to a name was well known amoung Hebrew scholars and it tied in with Chaldean numerology. However one startling thing about the Caesar trademark phrase, is that you can attribute Roman numerals to it and this seems to underline the very “foreign” (to Jews) nature of the number derived, as very closely corresponding to and with the individual it is associted with. Obvoiusly, the use of Roman numerals must mean the individual has great power over “all people,” which of course, was the case during the Roman Empire of the 1st century AD, when the early Christian sect was in it’s infancy, yet growing and not unlike the Taliban of the day. Very much an underground movement with great animosity towards Roman rule. So if we repeat the Caesar phrase, “vidi vini vici” and then look for an unholy (non-Jewish) number represented by Roman numerals, we clearly see VIdi VIni VIci, or VI VI VI…..
Now, for those who are not aware of that number, it is none other than 666.
So you have a name, a number and a despised tyrannical office ruling over slaves and freeman alike, but materially seducing them all, which of course, Caesar could do at the time in question. “Render unto Caesar what is his…!” Which was just about everything and everyone in those days.
Since the Great Beast was used to describe Caesar, I see that it is not just another way of describing Julius Caesar, but a more appropriate canditate for that title would be none other than NERO CAESAR, who at the time of his rule, was in the bizarre and wicked habit of ordering christians to be fed to BEASTS in the arena. So of all the ravaging beasts that may tear flesh from martyrs, who had the greatest and most savage quality?? That would be the Caesar who owned all, free or slave, and ruled in place of his ancestor, Julius, and so assumed the title and everything that went with it, including the number 666.

Bachelors=The new high school diploma. 30k a year working a task-oriented job you hate. Your wages will be garnished to pay for your school loans. You buy fancy stuff fully knowing deep inside you can’t afford it, but watch enough TV to really think you can live the “lifestyle of the rich and famous”. You have so much debt you will die before a true retirement. The highlight of your life will be awaiting the release of the latest network sitcoms and reading the Best Buy ads on Sunday.
Masters=Smart but fucked at the same time. 50k a year working middle management in a meaningless job you hate. You spout meaningless statistics and are forced to become a professional “Stepford Wife” at work. You will be bossed around by the rich owners. Your vacation will be taken away by administration at the last minute due to risk management histrionics. Gotta point the finger at somebody now! Your children will be drug addicts, criminals, or mentally ill.
The highlight of your life will be laying in bed at night thinking that you are living better than most.
Phd= Nobody wants to hire you because your too smart and cost too much. Marginalized to teaching others meaningless job skills. Fuck your cute college students off on the side and smoke their weed. If lucky, maybe a hedge fund will hire you, if so, take the money and run. You will survive only with creativity and playing the game for what it really is, pure bullshit.
Rich Person= Shop till you drop and hire others to fuck with all the above. RULE #1: Always act in your own best interests. Never take sides, matter of fact, if feasible, play both sides at the same time. Get’em coming and going at the same time. Others humans are meaningless flesh-bags who only exist for your exploitation. Develop these skills by watching porn/gore videos, reading Nazi history, watching Reagan-era film clips, buying nice suits, and killing a small kitten. Did any of you actually check into this survey and the people who paid for it to be done, or are you all just reading this article and accepting what it says without question? In case you didn’t look let me tell you a couple of things… The people who are behind this survey are a neo-con thinktank in OK with a stated agenda that supports school choice options and funding for scholarships to private (and in OK that means Christian) schools for only a select number of children.
I searched and found the website and the actual information that OCPA published about this ’survey’ and found several things that make me question these results. First the survey was a telephone survey of 1000 randomly selected OK High School students. They do not reveal how they came by these specific 1000 students, any form or demographic information or other information that would make this survey acceptable as fact of the situation. In the same article I came across the second thing that concerned me, which was the recommendation of the author to ‘fix’ the problem, and that is to remove any form of civic education from public schools, and then make it a requirement of passing the driver’s test that you can also pass a civics exam. They suggest the study materials for that type of exam be provided online or at public libraries.
Yeah this is good solution, civics isn’t being taught, so let’s not teach it at all, give you a little booklet to study to get a DL, and then hey you’re done. This will do nothing except create the very uneducated masses that they claim to so totally want to prevent.

I think the challenge to name 10 ways in which Obama is in violation of the constitution is an interesting one. I think if you go back and read the language of the act, you will easily spot 10 ways. I know that there is a “sneak and peek” provision where your possessions in your domicile may be searched at any time. Warrants are effected by LE personnel…not a judge.
