Pak on track to being named terrorist state

The United States is dusting off a long-discarded proposal to declare Pakistan a state sponsor of terrorism. But with the Bush administration now in its final six weeks in office, a decision in this regard is being left to the incoming Obama government, sources said, contingent on corrective actions taken in the meantime by Islamabad to the satisfaction of India, US and other countries affected by Pakistan’s toxic export of death.
US intelligence circles are now re-evaluating Pakistan’s contribution to the war on terror, and the ISI’s dominant role in the country and its ties with jihadi outfits, at the behest of the Bush administration. The White House itself lost faith in the Pakistan Army’s bonafides several months ago which led to Washington’s decision to withdraw support to military ruler Pervez Musharraf and back a new civilian government, officials and congressional aides who spoke on background explained. The decision to dump Musharraf was taken at vice-president Dick Cheney recommendation, they added, because of evidence that Pakistan was continuing to help Taliban elements attacking Nato forces.
Now the Bush administration is even more convinced that the Pakistani Army and its intelligence arm ISI, who still calls the shots in Islamabad, are continuing their toxic policies. But firm action against them is constrained by both the transition phase in Washington and the US dependence on Pakistan to maintain supply lines to its troops in land-locked Afghanistan. Officials are now re-examining options in this regard, particularly US leverage against Islamabad if Pakistan considers interdiction strategies.

Pakistan came close to being named a state sponsor of terrorism in 1992 when then Secretary of State James Baker charged then prime minister Nawaz Sharif of supporting terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. The then US envoy in Islamabad Nicholas Platt conveyed to Sharif that “we (US) are very confident of our information that your intelligence service, the Inter-Services Intelligence Directorate, and elements of the Army are supporting Kashmiri and Sikh militants who carry out acts of terrorism… This support takes the form of providing weapons, training and assistance in infiltration … We’re talking about direct, covert support from the Government of Pakistan.”
In his talking points, Platt continued: “Our information is certain. It does not come from the Indian Government. Please consider the serious consequences to our relationship if this support continues… If the situation persists, the Secretary of State may find himself required by law to place Pakistan in the U.S.G. [United States Government] State sponsors of terrorism list… You must take concrete steps to curtail assistance to militants and not allow their training camps to operate in Pakistan or Azad Kashmir.”

Saudi Arabia will be bankrupt by next summer, they have leveraged their economy to 11 trillion dollars and need 80$ a barrel oil to pay the piper. All arab countries, china, usa, canada, europe and a whole other slew of countries will be bankrupt before the end of next year. Food will be the weapon of choice to keep people in line, with the control of the food supply most people will go along with whatever they say.

If the US declares Pakistan a state sponsor of terrorism and invades then would they intern people with Pakistan backgrounds now living in america. Naaaah they couldn’t…they wouldn’t have facilities to imprison that many people…..would they ?

How convenient that the only terrorist captured Ajmal Qasab, is speaking only in fluent English, if he spoke in his mother tongue his people would have exposed him as a fraud.
Already, the villagers of Faridkhot in Punjab (not Multan) Pakistan have denied the existence of any such young person in their community of 4,000 people, who are uneducated and illiterate.
Let the Pakistan intelligence send one of the village chiefs and interview Qasab in their distinct punjabi dialect (there are many punjabi dialects).
If all else fails drop his pants to see if he is circumcised.

Pakistan has fallen out of favor … now … even though they gave them $10Bn since 9/11, even though Pakisani ISI has ALWAYS sponsored most of the terrorism in the region, even though the head of ISI ordered wire transfers to the 9/11 hijackers and was protected afterward in glaring cover-ups (constituting high treason by the Bush White House).
Yeah, now we can admit they are a problem. Now that dictator and military strongman Musharaf is ousted and a democratic, elected government tries to get control.
This is a farce. The US regimes have helped ISI carry out terrorism since the late 1970s. ISI has been on the payroll, and supplied with arms, training and political cover (cover up) consistently.
Now they have played with too much fire, things are starting to get real messy. So now they need to make a big PR effort to look like they want to win the bogus “war on terror” when in reality that is the last thing they want to do.

Many believers in Orissa are worshipping in secret, fearing for their lives after two months of nonstop violence.
In one village, small groups armed with knives and clubs return repeatedly to threaten believers with the message “convert or die,” according to a recent Associated Press news story.
According to one report, at least 700 Christians in the Kandhamal region of Orissa have been forced to take part in “reconversion ceremonies,” often at gun or knifepoint. The ceremonies typically involve ritual shaving of the head and drinking of cow urine or diluted cow dung, which is believed by Hindus to be purifying.
A Times of India news article quotes a Christian being threatened: “You either embrace Hinduism or you die.” Soon after, the man was forced to participate in a reconversion ceremony.
“We know we are not Hindus. We never were, because we are tribals, worshipping nature and animals before we took up Christianity when the missionaries came here years ago,” he told the newspaper. “But because of forced conversions, our brothers think we have let them and our faith down. Now, we are in the middle, nowhere.”
The reconversion ceremonies are just part of an overall climate of fear and violence that has gripped the Kandhamal region of Orissa since late August. Christian leaders in India say that in Orissa:
· 50,000+ people are left homeless
· 10,000 people are in relief camps
· 4,300 homes were burned or destroyed
· 400 churches and prayer halls have been destroyed
· Up to 57 people were killed
Compass Direct News reports that conditions are troubling in government camps where thousands of Christians have sought refuge. Public health is at risk, with malaria epidemics reported and other water-borne diseases reported in the crowded camps. Pregnant women are giving birth with little or no medical attention.
One local source told Compass Direct that some people are being turned away from the camps and are forced to return to their villages, where they may face further violence and have no food or shelter.

We need to control Pak’s sub fleet which carry nuclear cruise missiles. They use a battery hybrid system which can sneak into range of the US without detection. This is the only reason we attempt to be friends with them.
