Palestinian sources are reporting that the IDF killed one, possibly two Gazans, and wounded 12 more, 2 seriously (Hamas now says 19, but their numbers keep changing).
The Gazans entered the Gaza-Israel buffer zone and approached too close to the security fence along the Gazan border, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Unconfirmed sources say that a group of Gazans approached the border, and managed to cut one of the wires or border markings near the security fence.
A relative of the killed man said that Anwar Abdul Hadi Qudaih (20) had tried to hang a Hamas flag on the security fence, and was then shot.
