Paul Romping Home To “Randslide” Victory In Kentucky
Tuesday, Nov 2nd, 2010
UPDATE: Rand Paul has beaten Jack Conway in Kentucky – AP, ABC, NBC, CNN and Fox are all projecting an easy Rand victory. This is a massive slap in the face to the establishment smear machine that tried – and woefully failed – to derail his campaign with an endless series of contrived smears that were parroted by the corporate media and the Soros borg hive blogs like Media Matters, Daily Kos, and Think Progress.
Rand Paul is on the verge of victory in the race for the Senate in Kentucky, and could be declared the first winner of the evening at 6pm Eastern time.
The latest polls show that Paul’s lead has increased massively in the days leading up to the election.
A Newsweek report notes “With Paul enjoying 55–40 lead going into Election Day, liberals had better get used to the phrase ‘Senator Paul.'”
“The most amazing finding on this final poll is that Rand Paul is actually picking up more Obama voters (15%) than Conway is McCain voters (9%). That’s the formula for a landslide.” Public Policy Polling notes, referring to the vote swing from the 2008 elections.
The relentless smear machine against Paul, that has been in overdrive since the day the libertarian announced he was running for Senate, has only served to increase his popularity and highlight the absolute hopelessness of the establishment.
The baseless racist/extremist smears, the head stomping nonsense, the attack ads from Paul’s opponent, Jack Conway, in which he cited an anonymous woman who spouted mindless and idiotic claims about Paul’s college years – all of this ridiculous pap has failed to stop the juggernaut of the grass roots propelling Paul into the Senate. Indeed, it has merely empowered his candidacy.
A beleaguered establishment even flew in Bill Clinton in a last ditch effort to turn things around for Conway – an act of desperation that Paul last night described as “too little, too late.”
As Conway introduced Clinton last night at the University of Louisville, his words sounded like those of a bitter man who has already accepted comprehensive defeat:
“He (Clinton) didn’t have a father who ran for president and turned over an Internet fund-raising computer base to him,” Conway said, in reference to Congressman Ron Paul, in one last childish jibe at his opponent.
Today Rand Paul told CNN that neither party has earned the trust of voters and that government is “broken from top to bottom”, adding that, should he be victorious, he will challenge the GOP leadership and will work to “change the whole government”.
“Most Republicans think we’re spending too much, the deficit’s too high. But sometimes when we’ve gotten in power we’ve gone along and not really stayed the course,” he added.
“I will be one who will say to Republicans in my party, ‘We do need to stay the course and go ahead and balance our budget.'” Paul said, noting that all regulations should be approved by Congress because “We have unelected bureaucrats now writing the laws”.

A fifteen point lead just hours before the election will take a miracle for Conway to overturn, but with all the evidence of establishment Democrats engaged in dirty tricks and vote fraud, don’t put anything past them.
