Paulson Changing TARP Program for the FIFTH TIME

Paulson is changing the purpose and scope of the TARP bailout program for the fifth time.
The New York Times discusses versions 1 through 3:
“First [Paulson’s Treasury Department] says it has to have $700 billion to buy back toxic mortgage-backed securities. Then, as Mr. Paulson divulged to The Times this week, it turns out that even before the bill passed the House, he told his staff to start drawing up a plan for capital injections. [Version 2] Fearing Congress’s reaction, he didn’t tell the Hill about his change of heart.
Now, he’s shifted gears again, and is directing Treasury to use the money to force bank acquisitions. [Version 3]“
Then, Paulson said he’d leave half of the $700 billion TARP bailout funds unused, for Obama to control. That’s number 4.
Now, Paulson is changing his mind again, saying he wants to use the remaining $350 in bailout funds in connection with consumer asset-backed securities.
Paulson – who is acting like a dictator, and not taking input from anyone – is riling the economy with his constant changes as much as anything else.
No wonder Steve Forbes has called him the worst Treasury Secretary in modern times.

You know there are 2 things in this life that are a given TAXES and DEATH,welcome to your life.You can’t even move to a mountain anymore.There is no FREEDOM.Taxes on everything that we have and do.Add up all the different taxes we pay it exceeds 60% how much more can we stand.
Wish i was as smart as some of these websites they make money from fear,what a concept.

Real tax on YOUR money -
1. income tax – up to 50%
2. sales tax – up to 7.5% of your already taxed money
3. licenses to exist – drivers, those needed for jobs (insurance, home improvement, etc.) of already taxed money
4. gas tax
5. property taxes – state, county, city

I wish I had a blank check for $700 billion. He will give this out to his banker buddies who will hire him to their Board of Directors later. What a scam!
There is no business plan, no one knows if any of this will work or will have any effect at all, and I feel like this is the ultimate “TRUST US,” laws be damned.
I remember when this guy was trying to scare Congress saying the economy would crack (or THEY would make it crack) if he didn’t get $700 billion. He got what he wanted. The economy didn’t crack but it wasn’t because of anything he did. So either it was blackmail or stupidity, and either one is criminal.

This is just more vicarious “hedging” until after the “change”. I would not want to be the man inheriting this mess but perhaps there is some humorous NWO irony to the “change”. I personally think that our mysterious benefactors have just pulled their chump change from the world economy and are sitting back and laughing at the folly of our incompetence. People just don’t become world leaders…they are made world leaders. We have all been brainwashed to desire money more than anything in life without ever asking who was handing it out.

OK, I KNOW this is off topic, but AJ hasn’t really talked about this – The new record from Guns N’ Roses is finally out – Chinese Democracy – and China is calling it a direct attack against their country. Do you support Axl calling the album this and his contrversial lyrics about bringing down the great wall of China andings like You’re worth more than they tell you – Nothing’s gonna stop us now (he is referring to the libertarian movement) – btw his next record will have a song called “Atlas Shrugged.”
