After watching Nancy Pelosi on numerous TV shows, Netroots with Al Gore, The View, This Week with George Stephanopoulos, Daily Show with Jon Stewart among others, she amazingly becomes camera shy with the help of security. Instead of answering real questions about impeachment, Tamala Edwards, a 6ABC news anchor, threw softball-like questions.
One deplorable response was to the Iraq war when it barely came up were the statistics of war of how many soldiers have died in Iraq, injured, and the like, and a brief disagreement by Pelosi. She has done nothing to end the war other than rubber stamp every spending bill for more military action, including a $400 million covert action against Iran.
When impeachment was brought up she despicably dodged the question by Tamala Edwards asking a dual question. Pelosi went into a lengthy rant answering the second part of the question. Though plenty of attention were focused on topics from off-shore drilling to the status quo on the republican side are only about money (isn’t that why she’s on a book tour, aside from her $217,400 annual salary as Speaker of the House). Seems the word of the night was not accountability, not bring the troops home (she wants to re-focus in Afghanistan), and not impeachment, but ’serendipity’.
(Article continues below)
Overall, the citizens of Philadelphia did not disappoint greeting Pelosi with welcome arms with a sold-out event and followed by police state like security procedures in a supposed ‘public’ library and a memory-hole on impeachment (though, didn’t the security guard did look good with the purse of a book-signer under his arm)?
Anyway, at least the local morning news covered the small group of protesters as Nancy was leaving out the back. The usual deplorable and despicable rants about the future ignores basic sense to government accountability on the most criminal administration in the nations history.
I apologize for my lack of eloquence and awkward camera angles at times as I basically just solo’ed it. Hope others have better luck, and thank you to those who had and may yet be successful. Tomorrow I’ll be returning the book. And it seems the bounty for accountability is still open. The video shows a failed confrontation trying to deliver impeachment documents , followed by Pelosi leaving, then some commentary by a concerned citizen. I wanted to ask her questions on 911 as well, and would have asked her what she thought on why Bush and Cheney had to testify behind closed doors, with no transcript, and together during the 911 Commission and how that indicated ’something to hide’ from public officials.
follow-up to http://www.afterdowningstreet.org/node/35102
EDIT: The reason I had to ’solo it’ is because the security would go up and down the line and ask anyone who did not have a book that they could not stand with someone, such as friends, who were getting their book signed. The exception was married couples I guess. There were a couple of brave patriots willing, able, and wanted to help and record and for that I thank them! This is just another blatant example of how outrageous Pelosi and the tyranny of society overall when we have allowed the police state to creep in. So many things in this video are unconstitutional on basic rights to live free in an open and free society.
Can’t wait to return the book, as her book sales have been dismal on amazon even with all the press from the CIA media even though a book from Vincent Bugliosi: The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder, with a blackout in the media, made it to the top 10 list on the New York Times best seller list.

Why would anyone be surprised by the antics of these elitists. She no more cares for her constituant, the American people, in general or the Constitution (she swore to uphold). She like so many others in Congress, and government in general are merely opportunists who are willing to sell themselves for a price..

E. Minority leader (108th and 109th Congress)

2. Daughter Alexandra Pelosi works for NBC
3. Another daughter, Christine Pelosi, is Chief of Staff to Rep. John Tierney (D-MA), and has in the past been romantically linked to Rep. Max Sandlin (D-TX)

[Zinfandel Lane Vineyard in St. Helena, CA worth up to $25 million with annual income between $500,001 and $1 million / and Skellenger Lane Vineyard in Napa, CA worth up to $5 million with annual income between $100,001 and $1 million] Pelosi’s financial statement also reported that her husband currently owns $15-$50,000 stock in the Chalone Wine Group, Ltd., and recently sold his $15-$50,000 stock position in California’s Ravenswood Winery. Nancy’s husband, Paul Pelosi’s holdings include a four-story commercial building on Belden Place in San Francisco, a retail and office building on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard in San Anselmo and an ownership stake in the Auberge du Soleil resort in Napa Valley valued at $1 million to $5 million. IS THIS ELITE ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE?
Info on Pelosi’s thoughts regarding Israel:
Pelosi addressed the 2005 Policy Conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee saying:
“There are those who contend that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is all about Israel’s occupation of the West Bank and Gaza. This is absolute nonsense. In truth, the history of the conflict is not over occupation, and never has been: it is over the fundamental right of Israel to exist… The United States will stand with Israel now and forever. Now and forever.”
She was pure waste regarding the welfare of the People of these United States before she became Speaker of the House, and she still is pure waste regarding the welfare of the People of these United States. She, like Bush and Cheney, have no regard for us. She simply can’t, it’s not in her to care about you and I.

Idiot. People in congress never touch items mailed or handed to them by strangers. How are they supposed to tell you from the anthrax guy (or some new bio-attack method)? Even if you mail them a letter, it’s opened off-site, copied and the original is destroyed.

She should have been here in The Hague, long time ago, instead of milosovic, karadzic, even Sadam.
They never got the chance to tell their side of the story because they were murdered befire they even had a chance.
I am aware that Karadzic is still alive, how long do you think he will be allowed to live?

If you haven’t signed Dennis Kucinich’s Impeachment Petition please go to http://www.Kucinich.us and sign it, if you have signed it already, find a family member, friend, anyone, to sign it.

Only with the help of The People can Impeachment be forced onto Pelosi’s table.

I wanted to confront the bitch in Ann Arbor today and was seriously thinking about it except it’s an hour away and I’m not sure she’s worth my time. She obviously doesn’t have a conscience but I suppose that’s no reason to cop out.

My thing is to confront politicians on the voluntary nature of Social Security. According to the Social Security Administration, “a Social Security number is not required to live or work in the United States nor is it required to have just for the sake of having” and this is obtainable in writing, either snail mail or email at http://www.ssa.gov they will actually admit that. It seems that the public at large is in the middle of some sort of catatonic brainfart on that particular subject. A corrolary to the above is that without that infernal number, no liability for income tax is incurred, at least as far as the vast majority of Americans are concerned, citizens or residents, living and working in any of the several (now 50) united States in jobs in the private sector, without foreign sourced income.
Now try to get a job without a socialist slavestate number! The bottom line … a massive wall of ignorance and fear, coupled with a relatively small handful of bad actors in corporate Amerika that have made it CORPORATE POLICY to not hire without a slave number. I like Ron Paul, but not even Ron has publically admitted this little gem, stating only that “perhaps we should make Social Security voluntary for younger Americans” when IT ALREADY IS.
What I would like to see happen is this: you go up with a bait cam, that will be temporarily confiscated by the security thugs. The REAL cam will be a tiny little spy cam covertly hidden in your hat or perhaps even glasses, the kind that appear to be containing a hearing aid. (Another ploy to distract the thug … go to some shop that sells theatrical makeup, and create, on your face, a really ugly looking boil that looks like it is about to pop, spewing all sorts of nasty puss. Dab it from time to time with a tissue from time to time. If done right, nobody will notice anything but the “boil”.) The confrontation would go as follows … you say you want out of Social Security, the politican says, in so many words, “impossible, required by law, yada yada yada, etc.” You present the snail mail letter from the Social Security Administration, watch them hem and haw and sputter, this will be captured by your covert camera.
I really wonder if your average politician is that woefully stupid or ignorant on the subject (if anyone gives it some thought, they will realize that it couldn’t be anything BUT voluntary or it run afoul of the Constitution) or are they all just plain evil, socialist liars, or at best, consider this little gem of truth too explosive to go public with in a campaign (which I believe may be the case with Ron Paul.)

Too freaky for words. Pelosi’s not my congressperson but I can see and talk to my congressman any time he’s in town.
This is spooky. How can her constituents put up with this disrespect? Our taxes support her!
By the way, the Constitution and our Rights guaranteed under it are not self-executing. It’s up to us to demand enforcement of our rights.
Unfortunately, after the Banker’s Revolution victory in 1913 planned at Jekyll Island, elections in metropolitan areas have pretty much become a sham. All we get to choose is between corporate-nominated candidates. I suppose Pelosi is the _friendly_ face of the new democracy…
