Pictures: “Lego Block” Prison Cells Readied In Utah
Debate rages over blocks that can be snapped together to build prisons anywhere, at any time

Pictures of concrete prison cells being unloaded from wagons in Utah earlier this month have surfaced on the internet, causing a storm of debate over their purpose.
The cells are designed specifically so they can be snapped together side by side and on top of each other like lego blocks to form rows and columns.
Each block looks to contain 2 cells of little more than six feet square each.
The pictures first appeared earlier this week on the alternative news website Fourwinds10.com.
According to the owners of that website, the pictures were taken on Monday, September 8 2008 at around 3 PM at University Ave, East Bay, Provo in Utah.
Since that time they have spread to various forums and websites, sparking off a lively debate as to who these cells are for and in what circumstances their use is envisioned.

Those suspecting a sinister use for the cells have described them as “portable prisons” and argued that they may be being readied to deal with mass civil unrest in America.
The surfacing of the pictures dovetails with news that U.S. troops returning from duty in Iraq will be carrying out homeland patrols in America from October 1st in complete violation of Posse Comitatus for the purposes of helping with “civil unrest and crowd control”.
Others have also linked the discovery of the cells to a similar story of hundreds of thousands of plastic coffins recently uncovered in Georgia.
The less conspiracy minded have asserted that the precast concrete facilities have been in production since the 1980s and represent what is known as “modular construction”, which is also used sometimes to build hotels and other permanent structures.
“They integrate everything at the factory (lighting/plumbing/security hardware) and ship it directly to where ever the prison/jail/correctional facility/internment camp is at. Lift cells up, drop in place, splice a few wires and pipes, and voila! Instant prison.” writes one commenter on reddit.
What is not up for debate however is that the United States has less than 5 percent of the world’s population, but it now has almost a quarter of the world’s prisoners.
According to the prison studies center, the US has 751 people in prison or jail for every 100,000 in population. That means that if you count only adults, one in 100 Americans is locked up. Those figures dwarf any other nation, including China which is four times more populous than the US.
However, from these pictures it is apparent that there still aren’t enough cells, and more cheap and quick prisons are being built with taxpayer dollars.
Another fact not up for debate is that there is a coordinated federal government program to build civilian detention camps at undisclosed locations throughout the United States, in conjunction with the Army and the Pentagon.
There is no debate over the fact that the prison industry in the “land of the free” is out of control.

Approx 3 weeks ago, I was driving down St highway 70 in Oak Ridge TN very near to the military installation there.(you remember, Oak Ridge!!) As I sat at the traffic light , a large Car Carrier was turning into my lane so you couldn’t help but notice it.
The 15 brand new Ford explorers on that rig were Very concerning to me.
They were all white, blacked out windows, with the Gold (round emblem on the doors) and the emblem read HOMELAND SECURITY CIVAL PROTECTION division on them,right behind that carrier came the next one with THE SAME cargo so there were all these new vechiles, being delivered ready to go.

Hi everyone, I havent posted in a while. Now, I know these cells, I was on the project of building the new federal penetentiary in Terre Haute, Indiana. They used these cells, it made the construction faster and easier, there is a 1200 population cap in that prison, they shipped them in on trucks, but they needed a building pad, as well as infrastructure to connect to for the electrical, plumbing and waste. Of course prisons are popping up all over the place, and the business is booming. I would be more worried about the camps that are popping up all over the place, they are cheaper and can be put anywhere with just tents and barbed wire, these cells are for permanent structures, not temporary facilities. Im sure they wouldnt want these expensive cells to just throw large groups of people into on a whim, thats what the camps are probly for…..just my 2 cents.

They will be using primarily foreign troops in military operations here. There are many already here. That is one reason they have the majority of our troops spread out all over the globe. The foreign troops occupying here will be just as ruthless as American troops have been in Iraq. They will be very well trained, well equipped, and as a different race a/o nationality have been trained to think of us as less than human so that they will not hesitate to hurt or kill any of us if ordered to.

This is absolutely nothing to be concerned over, other then the fact that our prison rate is sky high.
These prisons, like the article has stated, have been in production for years. They make up the cell blocks in prisons. The purpose of the pre-fabbed cells is so everything is self contained and prisoners have no way to escape.
Stop detracting from the truth by creating conspiracy theories clamoring over pictures of a jail cell.

To answer the one guys question about the holes, well since these are modular, they have a chase for the piping, waste vents, and electrical, and they pair up tops and bottoms. they are triangular on the bottoms and the top cells are still triangular, but at the top of the top cells, they are closed off just enough for the piping and stuff to make it through, they thought long and hard about people and how they would try and escape. The tops are designed so that a person could not fit through even IF they managed to get into the triangular chase which is also packed to the hilt with the utilities, no one could fit through anyways. As for the list on the internet about the terre haute penetentiary next door (the old facility) does have a death chamber for executions, however, it does NOT have a crematory as they suggest, I took a tour of it while we were building the new one.

Some of the prisons had to evacuated and they say it happened in Katrina.
They move them to secret locations to avoid any jail attempts.

Also, as ive said before, I was on a prison project that used these, they are modular which just makes the building of the federal prisons easier, faster, and less cost, they are just prefab construction. They need a building slab, underslab plumbing and electrical placed in the right spots, the slab has to be able to support the weight, which means major construction, they cant be just stuck anywhere like legos, they have to have everything just right or the pipes and stuff in the triangular utility chases will not line up, there is very little tolerance for their placement. Look at the federal penetentiary in Terre Haute, Indiana, that new facility that is like a small city uses them, I know, I was there and helped build it.

I don’t understand why everyone is getting so worked up? A lot of people here sound worse than the fundamentalist Christians preaching about the end is nie. Prisons are extremely overcrowded and have been. It is not that the NWO and other “shadowy” entities are jailing innocent citizens to appease their insatiable appetite for domination. But freedom is a double edge. Many of us love our freedoms, and we would die for them. On the other hand there are many, many shit heads, who use the freedom to ruin other’s lives. If you LOVE your freedom, it comes with a cost, the criminals in jails would be much more of a danger of our freedom. Everyone is conditioned at a young age to look out for #1-themselves, and since poverty is the main reason for crime, we should all anticipate civil unrest amongst many social classes b/c of the economic diarrhea. Many will turn to crime b/c they have no other option to support themselves. And b/c everyone cares about their survival over anyone else’s, people will start blaming everyone, and don’t think for a second that if it came down to it, anyone on this forum would chose their survival over yours, it is just human nature. And when ppl’s back’s are against the wall they have no other choice other than survival mode and crimes will happen. And when everyone pulls their money out of the banks and create a self-induced panic, and the Wall Streert gurus start speculating on the market, things will just get worse. And if we are not prepared to deal with the masses of people fighting each other for survival when we have a massive economic collapse we won’t have any freedoms, b/c all of the criminals will do anything they can to make it through, and mob mentality will set in, then mob-rule. We have too many freedoms for a lot of people to deal with and can and will use them in the wrong ways. If we do not have the infrastructure to deal with this, we will all be doomed b/c not everybody cares about peace, freedoms, and truth, but care about survival. When push comes to shove, don’t think for a second that everyone will be on the side of peace love and happiness, and will rape you and your family, then take your food of course. The best thing to do is stay calm, and think rationally. If everyone is out of a job, all hell will break loose. BTW i cannot understand some of the hypocrisy here. I am confused who many of you are protesting? Are these “puppet masters” who control everything Nazi’s or Zionist Jews?? Maybe they are Nazi-Jews!! If that is the case we are screwed. I am not against your ideals, but I question many of them. Take everything you read with a grain of salt, many of you are no better than the people who blindly believe FOX news. Mr.Watson…. I do not know why you do so many stories with half-baked and half-cocked ideas. Would it hurt you to take some time and do a little research sir to make sure you gather up some facts before you unleash your obviously amazing imagination(or parnoia?), into these stories. Please. You could be a half-way decent journalist if you spent more than ten minutes reading a story and coming to these tabloid ideas you often come up with. I’m glad you have pictures and some comments. What you need is some hard facts like from the guy pointing out what it’s like to build with these. Ask around. Look up things. By doing that sometimes it takes a little more than using only google on your computer. Remember those things made from animal skin and trees with ink splattered about them? Yeah books. Why not pick some up and read them. In fact, challenge yourself and pick up a book you already know you won’t agree with and read it all the way through and write down why the ideas presented in said book are incorrect. After that reach back a little further and try to find all the possible holes in your own argument. After that see how it has either weakend or stregthened your ideas. Then maybe you can write with more than conviction, something I like to call substance.

I fear that this type of story can hurt the credibility of this alternative news dynasty Alex has worked so hard to build up. I hate to say it, but I agree with the poster that suggested that Mr. Watson do more research on this first before publishing. I am in Utah, albeit, so I am closer, so earlier today I made a few phone calls and did some research on the web to get to the heart of the matter. I understand the article stayed ‘fuzzy’ about the intent of these cells, but look at the hysteria it caused. Before anyone goes ballistic on me, I am an infowarrior and listen and participate everyday and I spread the message.

I have read down the comments here, and you people who are defending these things are talking double speak. You are basically saying how hard they are to build, and their expense but, you also point out how quick cheap and easy these are compared to regular prisons. Its not like the government doesn’t have everything they need to clear a spot, lay down the pipes and concrete, and slap a jail up in your town. Jesus Christ, they slapped a kiddy raper jail into mine, and never once consulted anyone outside the government. Did I mention that this facility is for the incarceration of pedophiles AFTER their sentence is over? Today the kiddy rapers, tomorrow the pot smoker the next day the guy who makes a comment on a website like this one.
Essentially, Watson is right. These could be used to build quick easy jails for ALL OF US. At least we know whats up now when we see them in our area.

Well all…usually a picture is worth a thousand words. To tell you the truth, I was the only one who’d looked closely enough at the aerial pics of the Explorer (cruise ship that sunk awhile back) and caught ONE photo out of 50 that created a problem for the cruise line. It was the Explorer, at full speed reverse, when the ship was already listing badly in the water. If no one caught that, I still have the photo, but I don’t know how to post it in here. I can send it to your e-mail if you’d like. Anyway, when you do that, it’s distinctable and causes a reverse wake at the bow, which was totally obvious to me. (former yacht owner) The ship fills with water even faster. I put the picture up, and exposed them online in the American, CA, LA Chronicles and World Sentinel. (I’ve since quit writing for them. They don’t like printing the truth either, so I pulled my articles an told them to take a hike).
If you look at the photos above, you will notice that there are absolutely no fences or watchtowers as you would find at a prison facility. They are also unloading these portable prison pods at the end of a culdesac, and if you’ll notice in the second picture, there are houses off to the right, which shows up near the trees at the far right. So, unless this is a brand new ‘makeshift facility’ off property, which I doubt, these should be considered bad news for the area. Anyone who even believes what the local government says is way too trusting.
Now I could say with certainty that they don’t plan on hauling these things on the back end of a Dodge Ram, to a nearby prison. They are being unloaded onto a street, and unless this street is ON A HUGE PIECE OF LAND OWNED BY THE PRISON, I doubt if they’ll take even the misdemeanor prisoners ‘off site’ and keep them on ungated, no surveillance property with Army guards. Well, maybe the fences will come later, but near houses that close? Could be for the guards to live as their quarters, and the other building in the background is anyone’s best guess. And who’s to say what’s across the street and sidewalk in that second pic as well. I see it as going to that group of houses off to the right. AND, if you blow up that picture, you’ll also notice rusted rails; an old railroad track, since those pods came in on a train.
The other brick and mortar building is new, that sets in the background as well. If that is the jail…it’s the smallest one I’ve ever seen. (Even the one near my home is larger and gated with a high fence. There’s only been one escape from there since it was built in the early fifties…and it’s at the County Sheriffs Dept. Homes are somewhat close, but they’re well protected).
Nah…I think Watson is right. This is something new, and they’re bypassing the residents. If you’ll notice, they look something like sewage tanks, from a distance. I blew that picture up 525% in my photo software and it also looks as though there is a brand, spanking new siren post there as well.
Yeah…I admit I’ve got a law enforcement degree, but I’m not a cop. I didn’t qualify because I could not run the full mile in 4 minutes flat. That’s a MUST for MI. Best I could do was 7.22. Hey, I’m over 50…so that’s good, right? :>)

It is therefore pointless to “defend” or “attack” me on this because I never gave any opinion on it, all I did was present the information to you.

I am in the detention/corrections design business, so I have seen these before. Tindall Corp. is a company that manufactures precast ready made “cell modules”. Ok, time to lay off the crack pipe! Prisons are built in modular sections, then distributted by rail to the destination in which the prison/holding facility is constructed. If what you believe is a fact rather than fiction then these systems would be distributed all over the country. these concrete cells are the modern day tents. cheap and efficient. can be transported and erected just about anywhere is the theme. all of you need to open your eyes. we all know what is happening. the old school style tents would not hold us. we would fight and escape. they need secure areas where they know we can’t do anything and can’t escape. chew on that. i can’t believe this is happening. and the sad part is i had to find out on my own. i didnt have anyone to tell me about any of this. and now that people are letting the truth be known, everyone rejects it because they don’t want to deal with it, including people i know, family members and my parent. but we will all cry for help with this wrath of terror sweeps the nation!!!

These modular, connectable prison cells are actually headed for Gunnison, UT, a rural town in south central Utah with a rather large prison facility. I live in Utah County and several people called the Mayor’s office out of curiosity and/or concern about them and that is what they were told. Nothing sinister here.

To the guy claiming doublespeak, the cost relative to building regular prisons the old way is cheaper and faster for the construction of the facility, they are still expensive in comparison to what fema does. They also take time to build, and they start building them to spec when the construction of the facility starts, so they are ready when the building slab is ready, this makes the construction of the overall facility faster, dont act like you think you know what your talking about, because I was there, I have used these before, I know whats involved, your talking out of your ass. If they wanted to make mass prisons, which they ALREADY HAVE, they would not be using these, look at what they are building for the fema concentration camps right now, and they are using what I said they were, this is what they do, these are for formal prison facilities.
I am with you on the problems we are facing, but the facts are facts, stop making things out to be what they are not. These are not designed for what you are thinking, they cannot take the weather, they need to be built inside a building, they are not airtight or weather proof. Grow a brain and stop fearmongering, use your noggins for the real threats, this is a threat as in they are prison happy, they have other plans for mass arrests and detainment. These are the moneymakers, the fema camps arent, so they are made cheap, and/or out of existing buildings like what we saw at the democratic convention warehouse crap. Barbed wire is cheap, and so are the guards, these cells are not cheap in comparison, you would not house a hog in luxury if you were going to slaughter him in the next few days, you would just throw him in a cheap pen and be done with it…use your damn sense and stop wasting time speculating on something you know nothing about. Like i SAID, iM WITH THE OPPOSITION TO THESE AND EVERYTHING ELSE GOING ON, BUT DAMN, pay attention to someone who knows, there are more important things to spend your efforts on other than meaningless debate on the trivial. Get your shit together, your food, your family, your weapons, your organization with your peers, your relationship with GOD, and PREPARE for the worst and hope for the best. End of discussion

Airwolf84, like they would actually tell you if they WERE there for sinister reasons? How many more people are we going to lock up for pot for 20 years, or shoplifting for 15? we are a prison nation now and it isn’t going to stop. These things look somewhat less fun than Lego Blocks….Although I wouldn’t be surprised if they were actually built by Lego. Imagine being locked in one of these things, and as your mind slowly degrades, over the months, one day you discover the “Lego” trademark stamped into the floor…would snap my mind like a dry twig. Or you look out the little window one day to discover you’re on the set of Sesame Street. Maybe I’ve seen too many episodes of “the Prisoner”?

If anyone was to say that these weren’t prisons, I’d laugh at them. What else would a big ugly ass block of concrete with two rooms, that are slightly larger than 6 square feet be used for. Apartments or a small bathroom? I think not.
And, I do have to say that comment 121 is a bit creepy and the fact of what Mike said is true. Very creepy indeed I say. But, it would seem strange that it would appear randomly on this site. I’ve always believed in terrestrial life, but that doesn’t mean I believe “Listen…” It’s probably just a joke, but I guess that we’ll see in what…. 2 weeks? and if so, perhaps it’s a thing of fate that those of us on this site that see it see it.
I believe that October is going to be an interesting month anyway, despite if “Listen…” is for real. I’ve heard a lot of rumors for October and it is shown through history that in the months of Sept-December is when a lot of things such as war, important bills are signed, economic disasters occur, etc.

These cells are larger than six square feet. Semantics, I know, but six square feet would be 24″x36″. The door itself is nearly three feet wide.

What the hell. That comment from “listen” reminds me of the dude on art bell that said they were going to triangulate on him and then the feed was cut. Very difficult to tell if its fake. Well, it probly is.

Actually, everyone look at the message that Listen… wrote. (Comment #121) Then look up the date. After I seen that, I was curious. Some interesting stuff is supposedly going to happen, watch some of the videos and listen the the guy speaking. Not saying that I believe it all, but it is interesting just the same and if it does happen… damn.

Comment #127, There is a federal prison being built in Berlin New Hampshire, I was going to be on that project, however my company did not get the contract. I may be going to Vermont to work on buildings for homeland stupidity and the fourth riech though. I will get to have more looks on the inside. As for toilets, well, they are on the inside of the door, if you notice the little door between the big doors, that is the access to the plumbing, the sink and toilet are all one piece construction. As ive said before, not in so many words, they are not mobile prison systems, they are for permanent facilities. There are alot easier and cheaper ways for mobile systems.

Some ppl say that these cells are just “normal” prisons, but isn`t it a good strategy to get ready for an insurgency to let prison population balloon out of control for petty (drug) crimes, hence increasing prison capacity, and then when an insurgency arrives throw the criminals out and the patriotic / idealistic resistance in prison. If the prisons are high quality rather then make-shift camps, they are easier to police freeing up troops to fight for the corrupt government, and they are more private meaning less potential for public outrcy. The official explanation does not exclude the sinister one. The USA government has a lot of experience with how to run a dictatorship, making it happen in other countries.
