London taxi drivers who were planning to protest over their ban from using Olympic traffic lanes have been banned by the Metropolitan Police.
They were due to demonstrate at Hyde Park corner at 17:00 BST.
They are now banned from protesting on any part of the Olympic Route Network from 16:00 until 03:00.
Cabbies have already held two demonstrations, claiming they should be allowed to use lanes set aside for athletes and officials.
First they brought traffic to a halt outside the Houses of Parliament. Then they gathered on Tower Bridge, with one man diving into the Thames.
