Police Commander: “The Fear on the Street is Palpable”

Scott Wagner is a Police Academy Commander and Professor at Columbus State Community College in Columbus Ohio, and Commander of the 727 Counter Terror Training Unit. The fear on the street is palpable to anyone who is paying attention. Ever since the election of Barack Obama as President of these United States in November 2008, coupled with the election of a democrat party majority in both the U.S. House and Senate, concern for the United States and personal safety has ignited like a fire in dry grass.
Sales of guns – black guns, rifles, shotguns and handguns (particularly 9mm) everywhere, have gone through the roof. AR15s have literally flown off of dealer shelves, and only now in the spring of 2009, have I seen the display samples of ARs begin to reappear on the wall of my favorite shooting emporium after the initial post election rush. Manufacturers of ARs are still working to catch up and some of the major suppliers are as much as 150,000 guns behind. Not only that, ammo is in the shortest supply I have ever seen in the 43 years of my shooting life. Have you recently tried to get 5.56mm, 9mm or even 380 ammo?
Supplies of 5.56mm and 9mm ammo are in short supply due to the black gun buying craze; .380ACP because of the rise in people getting concealed carry permits and the resurgence of interest in convenient 380 handguns like the fine Ruger LCP. In fact, in doing a review of the Ruger LCP, my gun store only had a small supply of ONE .380 round on hand, the Winchesters 95-grain SXT, which they had just gotten in. Unfortunately, I had to do a 30-round review of that pistol. There was none other to be found.
What is odd about this new fear is that it is not coming from the average citizen gun owner out there, but it is coming from what to me is an almost shocking source: street cops.
Street cops and SWAT cops that I know from various agencies – rural, suburban and metro – in my area are scared. Cops that before November 2008 never gave much thought (that I knew of anyway) to politics or more importantly to gun rights. For the most part, these are the guys that didn’t generally have any interest in shooting or gun ownership beyond keeping track of where their duty gun is, and a few of them didn’t even do that so well.

The guys I am talking about now are some of the same guys who used to not even carry off duty on a regular basis- but not anymore. They don’t scare easily, defenders of the Constitution of this State and the United States (as our oath of office reads), have been buying ARs, survival gear, and all the ammo they can lay their hands on. All of them (or I should say “us”) have been discussing and have been acquiring guns to provide a layered perimeter defense.
What are we suddenly so afraid of? Well in our discussions it seems to boil down to four areas.
First, fear of federal government intrusion into our lives. Every time I look at or listen to the news, there is something new and intrusive coming out of the Obama administration and this Congress. New tax schemes, government-run Canadian-style healthcare, a volunteer citizen defense force (whatever that is, what happened to the National Guard?) equipped with funding similar to our military, forced voluntary “service” after retirement, a lack of a southern border with hordes of illegal and criminal aliens pouring over our border, the swine flu scare as well as government forced closing of thousands of privately held Chrysler and GM dealerships, which will be the final nail in the coffin for these companies and the list goes on and on.
But these items in the news are just the tip of the iceberg. We can’t see the full impact of these actions yet, but we don’t know what was added into the thousand of pages of stimulus package bills in the dead of night yet. I predict however that when the plans contained in the stimulus packages go into effect, a lot of us are going to be surprised if not shocked by what has suddenly and sweepingly changed.
What also scares us is the second, well-founded fear that there is an assault weapons ban looming, one that would make the Clinton Ban appear like a look of disdain in comparison. I remember well the 1990s and the Clinton years: the rise of militia groups, the “black helicopter” rumors and paranoia, all of which was motivated by the Brady Law and the Assault Weapon’s ban. What if a new ban comes requiring registration or confiscation and turn-in of banned weapons as what happened in Australia?
…I foresee much civil disobedience coming down the road. Americans are citizens, and not subjects like the British, Canadians or Australians. They just don’t always obey the law blindly and not one officer or citizen that I spoke to said anything like “I hope I get to keep this gun for awhile before they are banned; They are fun to shoot, so I would hate to give it up.” It isn’t going to happen, so the cop on the street and the soldier on the base needs to think now what he will do if the orders come down. I think you all get what I am saying here.
Which leads me to the third fear, that there is a revolution coming, yes, a revolution on the scale of the original American Revolution. You can hear this topic discussed on many of the talk radio shows by even the big name hosts. The possib ility of an armed revolution against the U.S. government being discussed, albeit very gingerly and fleetingly and as something to be avoided, which it is. I never heard this mentioned in the 90s. One of my quietest, low profile officer friends brought it up the other day.
He said that at some point in the near future, he felt there is going to be an armed revolt if things keep going the way they are. Something has got to give. I was shocked. Yes, I had heard this from some of my more radical cop friends in the past, but to hear it from a guy like this was unprecedented. Now, these guys are not saying this will happen to foment revolution, preach sedition or to even participate. They just want to be ready if it happens, to at least defend their families, because number four on the fear list is general societal chaos.
Cops fear for their parents, wives, children or grandchildren more now than ever before. Most cops are encouraging their spouses and loved ones to get concealed carry permits. Not only that, but some of these same cops are buying gun mounts for their personal cars so they can carry an AR in the family ride at the ready all the time. They are also strapping on heavier forms of off-duty hardware. I have other friends that are issued ARs or subguns for tactical team use, who always have their gear with them and are planning on just commandeering these weapons for personal use in defending hearth and home.
Final Notes
This is pretty heady and maybe even dangerous stuff. Know fully that I am not advocating anything here. I am reflecting to you what I see and hear going on around me, and maybe saying things that haven’t been said in the open, until now. It is something to think about.

look, not all cops are bad. Yes we say they should arrest the government traitors, but they still need evidence that would hold up in court. Plus even then, we all know string would be pulled, they would be released, and everything would go on as nothing has happened. Yes we have dirty cops, that happens, but dont mark every cop that way. I know way to many that regret becoming a cop. To them its just a pay check and it puts food on the table. I live in Ohio, and i know this cop that made the e-mail. He is not lieing from what he is saying. If you see one of your local cops, say hi to them, talk to them! Before you know it, he might become a friend down the road, which then also has its benifits!

I will try not to offend your intelligence as gently as I can, while clueing you in on how your thinking is badly flawed. Let me point out that when the revolution took place the public and the military had access to the same type and form of weaponry. Before your ignorance shows through, take a look at what an AH-64 is capable of doing; or even an M19. If you think you are going to be able to stand up to a real military presence on the streets of America with a 7mm,30/06,5.56,308,280,30/30 etc. against the current military hardware available, you my friend are breathing the ether.
I can tell you after having spent twelve and half years as an Army Captain in the 1/5th SFG, if it comes down to a real weapons battle you are under equipped and under trained. Also you point out that, you think that the hunters in this country of ours could also take on our current military. The difference between you as a hunter and a trained military sniper would be like a mouse taking on a lion. A hunter trains himself to hunt deer; bear, elk, boar etc. were as a trained military sniper is trained to hunt man. If Las Vegas casinos were taking bets on the fight the odds would be 1000/1 against the hunter. And the difference in the equipment you have access to as a hunter compared to a fully equipped military sniper with SOCOM on his side, 5th generation thermal satellite imaging (X-Tech Heads-up Display), true 4th generation night vision, M107 with M20 APIT ammo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWJp14tkBlU), and a highly trained AG and support team, is like you taking on a full size female grizzly that you stole her cubs from; with your bare hands.

How about today in afghanistan? all the technology in the world cant destroy a nation of geurillas hiding in the shadows. For them, if they don’t lose, they win. One other note cpt sfg. How many soldiers do you think will fight their own countrymen? Soldiers are needed for those tanks, soldiers that will be on both sides. There is no lost cause fighting any traitors betraying their oath to defend against all enemies, foreign or domestic. So yes, we not only stand a chance against such a military, we will win. Civilian militias wouldn’t stand a chance going straight up against such an army, but operating as sabateurs while the patriotic elements of the army fought those type of battles would ensure victory. Fuck those who would betray what I personally fought for (though I was mistaken on what I was defending in those years, having never fought for the Constitution, only for empire). We will not be defeated.

Just can’t resist one more cpt sfg. questionauthority is right. Yes, we’re outgunned if you can put tanks on every street. But you can’t. There aren’t enough tanks to even matter. Especially when you consider how many are overseas. And just how much of our military is overseas? It’s not like the government is going to be able to just withdraw overnight and bring all that gear home. And if the government does do that, how many would fight for the government over the people vs a government of the people? How could this military defeat a country far larger and far well armed than almost every other country in the world? And in terms of arms, far more than every other country for sure. It’s also a country filled with vets of this same army. Vets who may be grayer, but there are more of us than there are regular army. As for weaponry, it only takes one successful ambush to get updates there. No, the army isn’t as big a threat as you make it seem. Cops are the army for this war, and I’ve never met a police officer I haven’t felt I could outsmart in this type of scenario. AFter all, a cops main strategy today is thuggish over-use of authority, not skills of diplomacy or tactics. I think the people have more than a fighting chance. If you don’t think so, then I guess the Special Forces did become that political group they were worried about becoming when I was in.

I don’t think many people read that part! I pray there is a LARGE portion of OUR military who are of similar persuasion! And I believe there is. WE are ALL AMERICANS!
ANY red blooded American has to have pride in and an unequivocal loyalty to the Republic, the last one standing albeit wobbling, with Liberty and Justice for ALL.
It is OUR responsibility to preserve it.
With all the information available today and the fact that people like the Captain do know whats up, I think WE THE PEOPLE still have a majority. Cops and military personnel are waking up every day and waking up others.
However, I think the NWO is realizing the awakening and know the longer they wait is just that many more people, worldwide, who figure out what they’re up to.
Who knows whats gonna happen, but an all out war with our own military is a lose- lose situation and the public has NO chance!

Capt sfg, you mention outgunned and outtrained, etc. that only applies to sfg, not the mainstay units of the army and definitely the marines and the ng. and if the military does come to betray their oath, I will do my damndest to kill them, as should all patriots. Just how many fronts do you think our services should fight on and be effective? We’re already in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan and those countries don’t have nearly the land mass and population of even a portion of the United States. No, we’re not outgunned or outmanned. For the military to be successful in any treason they would have to declare war on a region some 20-30 times larger than the areas they are in at the moment. And facing an enemy that is extremely well armed, if not trained well.

Great idea for a side job to bring in some extra money for cops. Offer training to like minded people who want to learn how to use the tools you speak of. Teach people how to “provide a layered perimeter defense.” What tools to purchase and other suggestions.
It isn’t only cops who are worried about what the future may hold. It isn’t only cops who are afraid for their families. It isn’t only cops who fear for their nation.

If their answer is Yes, they are doing the right thing and their jobs correctly, they have nothing to fear at all. You are doing what you were hired to do people. We the people just want you to do your jobs the right way, and obey your sworn oaths of protection, of the people and their rights. Don’t violate them in any manner. Get a copy of the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and read it and know it. Don’t make people fearful of the cops either with unnecessary violence, or tazing incidents all over the place.
If they say No to the question, then you are part of the problem and not the solution, and should rethink your answer and support again. I can understand why in your minds, why you have fear if your answer is no. Because you know in your own hearts and minds, that you are doing the wrong thing. You are supporting corruption, and you are breaking your sworn oath to protect the Constitution and the people. You have just joined the ranks of people like the Nazi Regime and SS, and the American people will know it. I hope it makes you Nazi mentality traitors feel proud, because Americans will not feel that way. No one wants an American Holocaust, and I don’t think the cops do either.
Just to keep in mind for all Americans, “I was just doing my job” will not keep you safe from future prosecution in trials, just like in the Nurenburg trials, that didn’t work for the Nazi’s law enforcement from the concentration camps and others. We are all human beings and should be treated with respect, as adults, real people, most important of all as human. No reason to be mean, disrespectful, fearful, mouthy, unConstitutional and inhuman to anyone, civilian, cop, or military. Give respect to every fellow human being.
Why don’t you good guy cops just start letting the people know you will keep to your oath and not support a corrupt government. That is all we want to know guys, that you will do your jobs correctly, for right, and keep to your sworn Constitutional oaths.
There was a time when the people looked at the cops as a form of protection, but the cops have been changing that mentality and mindset themselves, with all the recent brutality and unConstitutional acts you see in the news it seems like daily now.

Either you are on the side of God; or, no matter how good a person you think you are, cop or “regular citizen”, you are on the side of evil.
We have to choose TODAY which side we are on; and you choose even if you “refuse to choose” and/or think you’re not choosing. Those who think they’re not choosing and/or refuse to choose, are choosing to serve evil; and, very soon, all of their “goodness” and “doing good” will go out the window, and they’ll become blatantly evil and do more and more awful things they never thought they could or would do.
E.g., how many people who have now become thug cops would have thought five, ten or twenty years ago they would become that way? If you asked them that then, they would have denied it and said they would NEVER become that way (except for some of them who were always, or long, that evil).
That goes to show there are much bigger powers at work here, that those who are not completely infilled and transformed by the Power and Character of God through Jesus the Christ have no control over; and that neither are those who don’t have God’s Power able to stop evil from taking control of them.

The last time I called the cops, it was in the 80s. Heard an explosion, told the cop that it wasn’t a gun, truck, or any explosion I’d heard before, was just concerned. He smirked and acted like I was an idiot. This in a small town. 20 minutes later the firetrucks were at the chuch 50 feet away due to a fire started when the fuse box exploded. On to important stuff, the last time I had someone try and break-in my house, it was a fucking cop doing it. Didn’t quite get the chance to shoot him (it was a huge fucking house and he heard me inside. Wasn’t trying to get a shot at anyone as didn’t know it was a cop. Would have been more silent had I known that), Fuck cops. And I’m a vet. And capt sf above is also a turd if he thinks an area this size can be covered with his tanks and military. This country is fucking huge, and we don’t have enough tanks to cover it. Nor are most of the military shit anyway. Even at my age of 49, I wouldn’t be worried about most of them. And after one engagement I would have the same weapons they did. I think most of the forces deployed would be cops, and I have no problem shooting cops. None at all.

Modern law enforcement was created in the Industrial Revolution days (though the king’s sheriffs weren’t so stellar either). They protected the property (only the wealthy had property) and they preserved the peace (such as stopping the riots for enough money to buy food by the factory workers). They have never been for the service of the people, but have instead been used as a tool to suppress the people.

I happened onto this site while checking the current price of metals and I just wanted to say that I agree with many and at the same time I fear for agreeing… As I read the last sentence of Freedom Lost, I thought to myself, this persons right. ” We are very forgiving as a group, but we can only take so much….” My fear is not so much in the possible next “American Revolution” my fear lies in the weakness of our Country during such a revolution. If and when the day comes that we become our greatest opposition with the armed masses fighting against police/military personnel, our Country will be so weakened that every and all nations who have ever hated us because of our past strength ( military and economically) will not need to raise a finger at us. All they would have to do is pull into our ports and take over. They hope we turn on each other. They know that our Country will be one ball of chaos without control. In no way am I saying that those who are responsible for our current on going situation be allowed to continue to destroy our once strong and prosperous nation. Technically the current economic and political situation we face began long ago when the feds were given all power to print us into trillions of fiat currency (fake money) which went against the founding fathers constitution; All money shall be coined… All this is history that cannot be fixed with more paper nor can it be fixed by sedition. The only responsibility I have right now is seeing to it that my family is safe and not going to bed hungry. I have no answer. Nor do I believe the government does this is why I fear for us, for our posterity. I don’t care to prove anyone on this site wrong ( I can’t ) nor do I want to argue with anyone. I, as most of us here in the U.S. served in the military, I was 18 when I went in I’m now 56 years old I was not a war hero and I never advanced above E-3… I along with my 3 brothers became part of the military because our father ( since we were boys) told us we were suppose to do this and we did. I don’t agree with us leaving one war for another. My 20 year old nephew spent one month in Afghanistan and was shot while him and his unit were heading back to post after a mission. He’s now home on convalescent leave and I pray his wound proves to be bad enough to keep him from returning back to his unit… I guess I said all that to say this: violence only gives birth to more violence…. The other day I got kicked out of the Tenth Ammendment internet group for saying that there was a possibility of war and that the threat of it should be a great motivator for those who advocate peaceful resolution. The moderator came on board and said all those nice fuzzy things about how he agreed with much of what I said, but to not advocate war any more. I never advocated it at all, but I couldn’t reply as he had blocked my access. What a douchebag. It’s coming, and because people find war more repugnant than standing up for their rights. This is so true. It is going to start with people that see cops beating people for not doing exactly what they say, when they say it and stop them with physical force. A judge set a precedence by saying that unlawful arrest is equivalant of assault and battery and that we the people have the right to resist up to the point of taking the arresting officer’s life. This should instill fear in the police as too many of them do not think before they pull the trigger on the taser or even the pistol. Too much, it is time for the people to take back the liberties that the Fed Gov so freely takes away from us.

Well our best hope is that police fear doing their job by enforcing such insane laws that they move into real professions and basically refuse to carry out these orders. If enough funerals for fallen “comrades” happens, they will either ratchet their offensive up to a point where it’s them versus the world or they back down and cowar in their stations like Mexican police do.

This is a war which has begun through the development of the internet. In the last 20 years it has far exceeded the amount of knowledge put out there than in the 300 years between the invention of the Gutenburg Press and the Golden Age of Revolutions. Personally, I believe it is going to be a lot closer towards looking like the French Revolution than the American Revolution. Get used to it. The cops shot some guy in my town a couple months ago. They had a stand off for about 90 minutes. The guy had a gun with him but was not shooting or pointing out a window nor had any hostages. They tried to negotiate for 90 minutes and decided to kick in the door pumping the lad up full of lead. There are a lot of people angry about this as it did not sound necessary. Maybe that is paranoia or just trigger happy. Fucking pigs know what they are signing up for when they go to work everyday, They are like condoms…. serve, protect, and suck ass!

That type of tude and behavior starts at the top. They are trained that way. Mistrust of the police is now pretty main stream. I know of numerous anecdotal instances of police abusing their position. They are suppose to be a friend of the people. They used to be. I don’t want to talk to them and I don’t want to see them. (especially when they are in full force on Sunday mornings to ticket the lawless church goers). Harassment is all that is.

There are good soldiers out there. Although retired from the army, my skills have not tarnished. My son is a scout-sniper-paramedic in the cavalry. He says WTSHTF he is coming home, and bringing some of his squad along. They are all welcome.
We have long ago stockpiled food, water, ammo and weapons, clothing, if you can imagine packing for an extended camping trip and more…. we call it the “BUG-OUT ROOM”. Empty that room into a vehicle, and BUG-OUT.
We have done this not out of fear – but because we want to be ready. My oath to protect and defend the coustitution against all enemies foreign and domestic did not end when I took off the uniform to retire. And I do not need a web site to remind me.
My opinion, the good soldiers outweigh the bad.

Great articles everybody. Since I became unemployed several months ago I too have felt a storm brewing. I am not very religious but I do believe what is happening is Apocalyptic. An old lady told me that what that big word really means is a “lifting of the veil”. In other words, the lies that we have all been told by our supposed leaders is being exposed in one of the biggest crimes against our citizens & humanity in a collusive effort between the government and big banks. I think the fear that American police may be feeling is the fact that their old mantra of”just following orders” is turning into”HOLY SHIT, we’ve been working for an evil bastard and now we have guilt by association” Whoever you are, your master is the one who pays you & sustains you. In the cops case, the government provides for their survival but I think they are now seeing that this survival was perpetrated at the expense of screwing other US citizens. I do have to say this though. One of my best friends became a cop, and I have known him a long time. He has high morals and he has not changed who he is so, NOT ALL COPS ARE BAD. He joined because he wanted to help keep people safe. As for a revolution, yes it’s coming. How it’s conducted will be something we will all have to explain to our children. God Bless America..

You should be more afraid of the American men and women who got their concealed carry license, and who don’t have to show you their guns to prove their manliness or feel it is an extention of their penis. They have been trained to use the weapon to KILL, not to show off like the goofs you are talking about.
Our instructor taught us to shoot, not to main, not to frighten, but to KILL. He was the SWAT director in my area, and even showed us how to get past Kevlar wearing Criminals armor… he said shoot for the MOUTH, and turned us all on to Polyshock 12 gauge ammo for home defense.
Don’t worry about the goof’s and the hunters, who are ultra proud of their guns, worry about those of us out here, who don’t talk to much about our guns, and have them on us at all times, armed with the knowledge and training to kill anyone.

I have taken hunter’s safety courses, know how to use and care for a weapon and will not show it until it is too late and someone is dead. I DO NOT PULL A WEAPON unless I plan on using it. I DO NOT SHOOT TO STOP, I shoot to kill. I was taught that way. I am from military family and have been trained by the best. I can shoot out the bottom of a paper cup floating in a river at 100yds. The problem for you and all Americans including the Police you mention is exactly that.Sure Australians are subjects,but, only in a very limited and historical sense.Like you have shown any number of times in the history of law etc.and linked sites,the absolute craziness of some of this.The same lunacy has a different effect here.Those who already own guns in Australia do so as a minority, that is probably how they really want it,whilst squawking,about extra rights or lost rights,but, I mean to say, if you dont like guns,dont need guns,and dont hate people who have guns who are reasonable people,then there is really no problem. In N.S.W. recently the Gun enthusiasts in the hunting area of that wanted the National Parks opened up for them in what was seen as as a negotiating tactic to keep the present Government in power.It backfired.I still think using a gun can be put to good use,and only needs an oppurtunity to keep the skills being used,but not for hunting as a white sport of native animals in an open slather.The accuracy and firepower of guns in the forced process of bullet firing should be compared constantly with any other tool that displays similar pressure and force.Thus, if the skills of gun use are at all compatible with that the distance one can fire a bullet from is highly impressable or,in a work sense highly adaptable and genuinely highly flexible and more productive than other tools,if conditions for that use are right.Look at nail guns..why hasn’t their been an attempt to use guns directly like that,rather than as they are now.In some circumstances a gun could be a better option in a work place.Perhaps you need to address,why the Police etc. are like they are, and,from what I know I guess this could be the already incarcerated, the Black African Americans generally being released early.Why not solve the problem by suggesting to Police when a prisoner is released they go off with him or her the first oppurtunity and have a shoot at the local shooting range,and have a frightened of that,[but, not necessarily the released prisoner,] gun owner be there too.If you analysis the problem in too general a form,that is where it will remain,and,it is then certainly a diabolical reality that has its own circumstances and trends.I accept I am a long way from what you may rightly describe,hopefully ,the problems besetting Australia will be less dramatic than what you are seemingly coming to a conclusion about.

What is happening in our country unnerves me. Our government is a bogus sham full of traitors! Not only are people not buying new homes, but people are having trouble keeping
the homes they are in. Bills are piling up, jobs are scarce, and our loving government

I am fully in support of the right to keep and bear arms and use them in revolt against a tyrannical form of government. And I feel that it is overdue concerning the U.S. government. Which is why I know there won’t be a revolt that leads to any form of success in America, otherwise it would have happened by now.

It is true that chaos will reign supreme for a while. Who knows how long? Who knows who will emerge victorious, or if there will be a victor? Who knows how this whole play will play out? No one. There is a good chance though that a common enemy will be found amongst all of us, those of the government forces. Most people in all communities are decent people if given the opportunity to be decent. I think there is a good chance that we will find a government far less tyrannical than ever experienced before. That would be progress. And a progress worth fighting for. As far as health care. I wouldn’t use the AMAs services ESPECIALLY if my life depended upon it. And yes, I’ve broken many bones, the one that I went to the doctore about (back) took the longest to heal, partly because of the doctors. I know there are many people who serve in the military and law enforcement who believe in the Constitution and will do the right thing when the time comes. What is wrong with Canadian health care. Let me rephrase that, what is wrong with Canadian health care compared to American health care? American health care is one of the WORST in the world.
In Canada if you get cancer you don’t have to worry about paying for treatment. In Canada every citizen gets to see a doctor without having to worry about insurance..

However, it is the same state that, when they murdered the black guy accused of shooting that one well-loved cop (so loved by the community they had security at the funeral preventing any more shootings and no one but cops showed up) and the news people asked the sheriff why they shot the guy so many times, he responded with “We ran out of bullets”. Florida doesn’t accept good cops. Georgia doesn’t have that many either. Most of the good ones I knew left long ago.

Lawman, you state that 90% are for the people…then why do they issue tickets for people going 10mph over the limit? I’ll tell you why, because that is what they are told to do! Robert is exactly right. You cops break the laws you enforce. I lived in a small town for many years and was right next to the cops with my job, new them, partied with them ect. When they were done with the party the drove home, all of them driving were drunk I watched them get drunk. If they were pulled over by the on-duty they were just given a ride home end of story. Now that I am not working along side them any longer I not only get tickets for going 10mph over the limit (which BTW I beat in court) and I am considered slime by those who I worked beside for years saving their lives as a paramedic.

I bought some home insurance from a gentleman who has a cop friend.He said this policeman has armed his family and friends to the teeth!~

AR style rifles are ok if you keep the bolt and carrier clean and lubed..try slick 50,also ammo is lighter then .308 if you are humping it. But for true reliability go HK or FAL.,
both are very dependable weapons. For long range a Rem 700 heavy barrel is a nice rifle, put a night force or schmidt bender scope on and new trigger, (2.5 to 3 ibs pull) and you are ready to practice. Remember for vests that level III only stops pistol rounds,you need ceramic or similar plates to stop rifle rounds. Good luck.

Why on earth would I want to buy a dutch or german gun. I go AMERICAN all the way because I have pride in my country and what the constitution stands for. If You really cared about Your fellow workers You would tell them to buy a good dependable American weapon. So You don’t want to buy a AR15 because You don’t think its dependable then buy another one. You say there is no good american weapons and I will tell You hog wash. The M1A won WWII and worked flawlessly in Korea and Vietnam. In my opinion it beats a HK or a Fal any day of the week.

Just a note to all those people who think they need 10,000 rounds. Just be a better shot and you can reload off of the people you shoot. I think the old M-16 sucks ass as it tends to jam a lot with all those moving parts. Try and keep it clean in a sandstorm! Machine guns are a waste of ammo. It only takes one round. In a fire fight, you should still be able to hit one in a hundred if you are careful. If you choose the type of battle, the terrain, as you should do if you wish to survive, you can keep that number down a lot more. Each person should ensure they are in control of the battlefield at all times, not the enemy. The person in control has more power than the person with the bigger guns.

I agree with You though and I think You are right. If I just read conspiracy forums all day I would think all cops are evil. I recently went to a Law enforcement forum and I almost cried reading their posts. These guys feel the same way We do about federal gun confiscations and crap. I came to the conclusion that some cops join because they really want to make a difference and to serve. The sad part is there are some corrupt cops and some just doing it for a job. I think when the going gets tough and the SHTF the police forces will split just like the country splits. So I am not worried about the cops one bit because if that day comes when they come to take my family then I’ll deal with it.

Get a call one day a guy laying in the ditch on side of the interstate( Drunk Ol bastard). It was winter time so some would say. It doesn’t get that cold Georigia, but for us it was cold. I show up and sure enough there he was laying in the ditch. T-shirt Blue jeans and cold as hell.. I asked him what the hell he was doing? He replied that he was trying to get to his mothers funeral in Alabama!!!! My reply; you aint gonna get there in the ditch!!!!
He looks at me and said; Sir I sure am cold!!!!!! See James this is where me and you differ.. I showed him respect therefor he showed it to me.. I looked at him, took off my winter coat and pulled out my knife.. No James I didnt cut his throat!!!!! I cut the patchces off my coat and gave it to him!!!!! Then I began to ask about his mom? He looked at me and began to cry. Saying that he had let her down in so many way’s, and now he let he really let her down!!!! I had him get in the car… No James I didnt hit him in the back of the head and cuff him… Hell he sat in the front seat with me… He looked at me and said I dont have the money to get out of jail!!! I said OK…. James I took him to
him to the waffle house to eat.. I payed for it James.. I then took him to the local bus stop, bought him a ticket to see his mom one last time.. I also gave him some Eating money,,,, my money James. No James I wasnt feeling guilty, I love my brothers… Hell it might get me extra points in the good lords eyes!!!!!!
About 3 in the morning I get a call that a 4 yr old had died… I arrived and sure enough there was a 4 year old cought up in a blind cord and stranggled.. I pull out my knife once again…. No James not to kill the rest of the family, but to cut the dear baby out of it…. The corner came and left as did the ambulance.. The mother looks at me and said I cant go, I have 3 other children and No one to watch them.. I called that lil woman of mine you speek of. At 3 in the morning she came and pick those children up and took them to my house to carefor.. Point being James dont judge me BOY you dont know who I am what I am and you dam sure dont want to invite me over to your home!!!!!!!! But you leave knowing this james I still Love you. P.S.. People, When the SHTF, Aside from your ARs and long range rifles. CQC Shotguns for house to house. Remember, You will/can always run out of ammo. So you should carry a few good sized Fighting knives, Fixed blades with Kydex sheaths.( Concealable size for those certain times) And at least 2 “Vietnam Tomahawks”. It’s a Fighting Tomahawk, basically a light hatchet with a spike on the other end.( For those not in the know.) You can Fight like an Apache, and go down swinging, even out of ammo. A few stashed compound bows wouldn’t hurt either. in case you have no ammo, but still have “1 more round” left in you, and want to go out swinging.
And When buying guns, you need to get arms that use NATO ammo. I know .45s are great. but that’s an American cartridge. same with .40S&W. You need 9mm. Every Country uses 9mm side arms and every NATO Countrys Sub-Machineguns are 9mm. Also .223/5.56x. and LOADS of 7.62×51mm. you can use it in almost all NATO Arms and your own when you “find” Arms in the rubble.

If you have two sides ready for war, both waiting for the shoe to drop, and neither drop their shoe… does it ever start?
I see a peaceful resistance of tax refusal, etc, being put down by example, like that 60 year old couple the other day on here. They will make examples of you, if prison won’t scare the masses, taking you out and shooting you in front of your neighbors just might.
Refusal to leave your home when the bank forecloses, will simply send out the war machine known as the Police and Swat to exterminate you like an infestation of termites, so the bank can have your property.
They won’t have to worry about people doing it on a massive scale, because when they really knuckle down, most people will submit, those that don’t will just be considered tragedies of the economic downfall, or considered crazy.
I for one say, if Violence is what they want… you don’t wait for your enemy to strike you first, you try to knock them out with the first punch, and who ever gets in the first punch will usually be the one who ends the fight.
That’s the law of a street fight, if your going to fight, don’t wait for the other guy to fight… us talking to congress, or the senate, etc is like going up to a combatant and pushing him, trying to prove we are strong. About the revolt issue: It’s a trap
Meant to look like it’s for us, but it’s only for us in the long run.
In the short run, the trap is for whatever the first hot wave(select military, black-ops/mercenary companies ) is in engaging the american people. It will get annihilated. The trap is whomever they convince there is any chance to win, and is evil enough to try.
The one sidedness of this victory + media manipulation is what will be used to convince a larger more powerful body that the people must be dealt with. (US military?)+foreighn troops

Stage 3 however isnt so simple. As they realize the arms and training levels are high enough that no standing army could possibly resist an insurgency of the people in the U.S,,,

You’re right. Standing up to your boss by refusing to fine people for having tail lights out or not wearing seat belts WON’T get you very far. This is called having PRINCIPLES, or VIRTUES. Social structures, like the police force, HATE principles and virtues. It’s not easy having them. You’d probably get fired. If you’re afraid of getting fired because you have a family to support, well, I’m afraid that’s a prison of your own construct. Hey bum speeding limits are made for a reason and thats for safety. You act like that is against the constitution and I beg to differ. Who said You have to use a car as Your primary means of transportation. You don’t have to get all the liscensing to ride a bike now and You don’t have to obey the speeding limits either because You just can’t break them. I used to be a dumb ass like most young men and drink and drive until I almost killed my friends while doing it. The worst part about it I laughed about it while I was drunk and I didn’t realize my mistake until I was sober.
Several years ago I called 9/11 to report a drunk driver and I felt no shame what so ever. I even stayed on the line to report on his progress driving down the road. I didn’t feel bad one minute because I have a family so I was doing my duty as a citizen. How would You like Your family to be killed by the law breakers that this man puts behind bars? By Your response to his post I seriously doubt You have children because if You did You would change Your opinion real quick about law and order.

You have never had a speeding ticket in your life BECAUSE YOU ARE A COP. Don’t tell me I don’t know, I was a paramedic for 10 years and in those ten years never got a ticket. I drove then like I drive now and I got a ticket from a cop I used to work with. YOU THINK SPEED KILLS?? THEN WHY IS THE AUTOBAHN NOT THE MOST DANGEROUS ROAD IN THE WORLD?? IT IS ONE OF THE SAFEST ROADS IN THE WORLD! When I was a medic I had a red light and siren for my car and went 100+ weekly to get to an accident/medical call and never crashed, never caused a crash not even close. Now that I am retired I get a ticket for going 45 in a 35 and you tell me it is for my own safety? Are you high or just nuts?
Give me a break. I believe you are a good person, probably even a good cop when you were one but don’t insult me by telling me you are saving my life by handing out revenue raising tickets!

And I didn’t mean to imply that I should come before your family. But that’s YOUR responsibility. No one else should be burdened to pay money they don’t have for violating traffic laws that all the cops I’ve talked to don’t actually believe in themselves. There’s a very linear narrative that underlies the growth of America’s police presence. The U.S. WAS primarily an agricultural society in its early days. Agriculture became dominated by government laws and statutes (enforced by people like yourself) to eliminate competition AND independent farmers and land owners. Later, after adopting the FED, it became the largest manufacturing country in the world (mainly for overseas military purposes). It then sold these industries overseas. It’s primary source of REAL revenue (i.e, that which it does not print and issue to itself with its connection to banking interests) is now tax on income and YOU. From agriculture, to industry, to police state. Do you really think it’s okay to fine people that have little or no money? Can’t you see what will result from that? Have you ever read “Robin Hood”? Is the guy that feels intimidated by your presence really the bad guy, or is he the good guy?
Take care of your family first and foremost, but don’t forget your fellow man. You AND your family may need OUR help someday, and you might find that people respond with the same calousness and indifference that you do when you perform highway robbery for petty beaurocracies.
And I’m only mentioning the smallest of moral indifferences I’ve seen from the police. I’ve seen video after video of “non-compliance” taserings (including 72-year-old grannies and teenage girls), roadside/airport/and subway executions, etc. You guys have put yourselves in this position and only you can pull yourselves out, and I recommend to those interested in doing so, that you do it with expediency. You don’t have alot of time left to pick which road you plan on taking, as you probably know. I say this in the hope that, if nothing else, you approach your job from another perspective, perhaps a more humane one.

“If I WAS a PARA” “LOWERED MYSELF AS AN EMT”???????? Are you Drunk? You have to go through EMT to Become a Paramedic dumb ass!!!!!!! EMT-Basic, Then EMT Intermediate=EMT-II, Then another full year of full time, 5 days a week PARAMEDIC school. You have to go through the EMT Courses and actually have Time on the job to get into the PARAMEDIC Course. Then there’s more, and more…ect…..ect…. You don’t just wake up one morning and say “Hey, today I want to go to paramedic school”.
AND I’M LICENSED IN 4 STATES BECAUSE CHOPPERS COVER GREAT DISTANCES IN SHORT TIME!!!!!!!! I CAN BE IN DIFFERENT HOSPITALS IN 15 MINUTES!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s called a reciprocal license. ( Google it after you have another Natural ice) I don’t need to Take another Exam ( Witch wouldn’t matter because I ACE Everything anyway) I Send in my Paper work and a fee. 40-60 usually. If I wanted I could just send out apps and paperwork for reciprocal licenses to all states(and counties with special policies) to all 50 states But My Coverage area is a 4 state quadrant.

You’re right, especially about the non-selling power of good news, and this has probably always been a detriment to the police profession. Absolutely true that not all cops are bad. But even good people can compromise themselves. Sometimes you have to. It’s how we come to mutual understandings. But I also think that sometimes we have to say “no”. Fate has put us at this point where, as the talking heads put it, people are drawing lines in the sand.
And actually, AJ posted the article about the Sheriff, in Ohio I think, who refused to continue serving eviction notices. To me, that’s GOOD news and a damn good Sheriff.

It explains the people behind all the wars and revolutions and all the corruption in the church, who is behind what is happening in American and what is happening, how they want most of us dead. One last thing: At the recent Bilderburger meeting in Europe it was said that Henry Kissinger said that don’t worry about the guns in American we will have them all shortly? What he mean by that or what they intend to try, we’ll see.

A shoot once and dump weapon. you not going to run far with that boat anchor, especially in a counter sniper engagement were you are the target. it would be like running with 24 pounds of shit in your B.D.U’s thru the bush and hills. Yeah, that debate has been going on for a while… and the reason the AK-47 was rated the #1 assault rifle on Earth. If 90% of the countries in revolution, use the AK as part of their Logo, it’s got to be good. The small .223 bullet was originally designed for killing small game, aka think rabbits and squirrels, the AK-47 was designed to kill men. Let me put it in layman’s terms, I can go to my rifle range, and shoot .223 ammo all day long, if I bring in an AK they go, OMFG, the range can’t handle that, the bullets will fly out the side of the building!
The .308 and 30-06 are good serviceable ammo, with a hell of a lot of knock down power. Got to love an FAL, but even a good old 8 mm Mauser or a 7.62X54R Mosin Nagant *easily had for 90 bucks with a C&R* will far out POWER a .223, and if you get the steel core ammo *aka heavy ball* for them, it’s as effective as a knife cutting through butter on most Body Armor.

The Cpt. made some good points, however… The us military is what, 1,500,000 strong with a third of them being highly trained infantry and armored personel, and thats being very generous i’m sure! your american citizen enemy on the other hand numbers in the tens of millions! 300,000,000 people in the united states so…. lets say 10% are radicalized patriots, My dear Cpt. thats 30,000,000 ” insurgents ” You dont have enough bullets or bombs!!!!!and when the killing starts our numbers will only grow. Also – If you ever see a picture of Hiroshima after the bomb hit it you might notice what the military overflights and personel did – that there is one building standing alone just 8 blocks from ground zero. Everyone within 5 miles of ground zero died from instantly to within a few months. Eight missionary Jesuit German Priests were in that building and evey one of them die many years later of old age without any adverse effects. Their survival and the building remaining structually intact defies modern science. When the priests were asked what was their explanation for this apparent miracle they responded – Here we prayed the Rosary everyday.
In 1215 and army of 100,000 Albegensians all experienced horsemen and fighters faced an army of 1000 Catholic’s of which 800 were infantry and only 200 were horsemen. Later the sgt asked the marine how he did it. Did what he replied. How did you kill those Chicoms, your rifle was never fired. Ask big Michael he replied. The sgt said there was no one there but you son and there was no other Michael, I picked this patrol and watched it myself, I was watching you and was about to call you in closer, but how did you do it, those 6 Chicoms heads were all cut off like with a sword. This story was told to many marines and army as they left for Korea and the sgt and other men on the patrol were all questioned and testified to the truth of the story.
The point here is that with the coming of what surely are Apocalyptic events – not the end of the world but it might certainly seem like it – no matter your strength or superiority in weapons and experience – if you don’t have God on your side – what are your chances.
To put it another way if you are no better than your enemy God will leave you both to your natural ends, but for the few that are humble and confident in their Christian faith comes supernatural help.

tanks have weak spots and are useless ,unless in open terrain were they are most effective in combination with infantry and in the offense,but in a city with its narrow streets i wouldnt feel safe at all in a tank,even assuming its functioning properly,u need 2 watch your 6 all the time(kind of a blind spot)tank crews learn to defend a sector,about 60 degrees to cover(for each tank),and that is tiring work,even for a couple of hours, trusting your buds in the other tanks to do the same,4/6 tanks in a pack is practicly minimum to guard and defend one spot,with recon troops defending the direct rear,that sounds and looks intimidating,but its not because its a human operation and humans need to get sleep,thats why we need to run patrols when we are defending one spot,4 buds max at 1 time in a tanksquad run patrol at night in the worst case,that means noone is slackin,snoozin,2 buds with an mg,stationary and 2 buds patrolling the perimeter in a no tank surveillance defence.if a tank is involved,it is a 60 degrees defense(with night vision,so u really wouldnt wanna be in our sight) in the direction of where the threat might be coming from,thats basically a 2 bud job in the tank,with 2 buds patrolling.giveaways for a vigil tank at night is the high pitch sound from within(electrics on,engines off)and the moving turret(60 degrees),and maybe some green or red light glance(i dont think a gunner would make that misstake though)anyways,i vividly remember a 1 time night operation,when we had 2 defend 1 spot,with me finishing a 2 hour watch,my bud was already out of the tank,fed up with me for not finding my helmet and stuff immediately,so we were split up and i with some delay walked to my own tank,climbed up,wondered where my bud was but assumed he went for a pee,and got into my sleeping bag,when i suddenly saw 3 faint silhouettes standing there watching me,i grabbed my gun and pointed it towards them,shouted something and fired 1 blank(my gun was dirty,so that was at best 1 kill,with 2 remaining to deal with)we negociated after that with me refusing to surrender,threatening with kickin em off the tank and so forth and they left to harass the rest of my buds.at that time our camp was swarming with intruders and we were combat insufficient(almost everyone was asleep, my missing buddy and the patrol were captured,i was dead,they saw me first for sure,so in short,20 soldiers and 5 tanks were taken out of the equasion in half an hour.pivotal in this story is the attack came during change of patrol,although thats maybe overrated,since camping in pitchblack and the element of surprise cannot be underestimated.my point is 1; its impossible to have a 360 defense,especially at night,that would require everyone to stand guard 24/7.
2;i dont know how many intruders there actually were,but it would be less than the 20 we were with i think.
3;the 5 tanks were captured without even getting to confront them and this all happened in the woods,not in a city.
4;i probably screwed up my watch(buddy split,going to sleep after seeing intruders)but i think
i couldnt have prevented the total wipe out.
5;if you can climb upon a tank,you can open the hatch,if u cant open the hatch,you can spraypaint the periscope glasses,or smack them with a hammer,no view no kill.
6;the tin cans are deathtraps,if used improperly.

Thanks to the fine officer that wrote this article and stated what is really going on in America. No one wants to get into a hot shooting war (unless we are invaded of course).
I know the things stated in this article to be true. A former co-worker of mine talked about his “cop friend” who bought a 50-cal and lots of ammo to go with it for the very reasons mentioned in this article. Oh, and he bought it before Obama was voted on to be elected.
