As Sens. John McCain and Barack Obama battle over who has the best approach to national security, a new CNN poll finds Americans’ concerns about terrorism have hit an all-time low for the post-September 11 era.
According to a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey released Wednesday, 35 percent of Americans believe a terrorist attack somewhere in the United States is likely over the next several weeks.
The figure is the lowest in a CNN poll since the September 11, 2001, al Qaeda attacks, which killed nearly 3,000 people.

Between 2002 and 2006, summertime polls typically showed that a majority of Americans believed that a terrorist attack was likely. Last summer, that figure dropped to 41 percent. This summer, it dropped another 6 percentage points.
The latest CNN poll also indicates that the war in Iraq remains deeply unpopular. Three in 10 voters favor the war, while 68 percent oppose it. Similarly, a third of voters would like to see the next president keep the same number of troops in Iraq that are stationed there now.
For McCain, who is seeking to highlight his national security credentials and has staunchly defended the U.S. presence in Iraq, the latest poll results may not be viewed in a positive light.

Lower numbers of the public fearing a terror attack is both good and bad. For the good, it shows that the MSM is failing in their bid to keep the public in fear. The bad of course is that if they stage another false-flag operation, the sheep will be even more shocked than if they had been expecting one. Either way, the public is on to the elites and the jig is up; if they pull-off another 9/11 the people will know instantly who is behind it.

Probably only a minority will know who did it. Most people are too fragile to accept that their own government wants to kill them.

Somehow it seems that without any domestic (North American) attacks since ‘9-11′ and the ‘anthrax’, that the bigger fears are the bigger lies. The Wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and maybe more. The constant media speaking ‘nuclear threats’… I think we should all be worried that the price of oil is petty compared to the hype directed at World War III being at our doorsteps.

Yup agree with the false flag opportunity this presents. However, thy have their patriot act in place and untold other measures. So it wouldn’t actually give any benefit to them. You have to ask though, what event would trigger martial law? Once martial law is imposed, we’re all finished!
