Press Release: Federal Reserve Accountability Act An Unacceptable Compromise

Today, Senators Jeff Merkley (D-OR) and Bob Corker (R-TN) introduced the Federal Reserve Accountability Act, an attempted compromise on the issue of transparency for America’s secretive central bank. The bill would permit an audit of the Fed’s actions in the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) and similar high profile bailouts, but would not allow Congress to review the Fed’s inflation of the money supply or the its agreements with foreign central banks.
Legislation that would bring a full audit of the Fed, Congressman Ron Paul’s H.R. 1207 and its Senate companion S. 604, has gained strong grassroots support and built tremendous pressure on banking special interests.
Opponents of Fed Transparency argue that a full audit of the Federal Reserve would damage the central bank’s “independence” and allow Congress to dictate monetary policy.
“Claims that transparency at the Federal Reserve would leave Congress in charge of monetary policy are simply bogus,” said Jesse Benton, Senior Vice President of Campaign for Liberty. “There is absolutely no reason why The American People should not be able to review the minutes of the Federal Open Market Committee after a reasonable amount of time has passed.”
“The Federal Reserve Accountability Act does not audit the monetary policy functions which have been responsible for our deteriorating dollar and so many of our current economic problems, and it is not an acceptable piece of legislation. Campaign for Liberty will continue to push for a full audit of the Fed.”
The announcement of the new legislation comes after the number of cosponsors in the House of Representatives for H.R. 1207 recently climbed to 303, and S. 604 gained 30 senate cosponsors. Campaign for Liberty has been leading the grassroots effort on H.R .1207, getting it to its current point with 75% of Americans showing support for a thorough audit of the Federal Reserve.

I found a news article that “reveals” that the Fed bailout resulted in the Fed/central banking system acquiring thousands of properties across the US!!
Here is a blurb from the article

Now why would they want to keep secrets unless they are doing somthing they know congress and the American people wouldn’t approve of. Obviously they are either conspiring against us, or simply believe they know what’s best for us, and they believe if they don’t make the rich happy, the rich will not make the poor happy. Can’t wait to leave this planet and go back to the spirit realm.

It speaks volumes that neither Senator Corker nor Senator Merkley is co-sponsoring S 604 for the full audit. Perhaps this abbreviated audit will suffice the populace, and the need for a full audit will go away????? HELL NO – End the Fed.

Hey Chopper,
I said on the forum quite a while back that 1207 would probably not go through. I support it 100% and have written letters and made phone call to many members of congress. Both of these assholes are sell-outs in a big way. If it does pass, Obama will surly veto it and the dems won’t override the veto. Checkmate again. I’m with you, END THE FED!!! I have an urgent message for you, more important than any message you can hear. God is Holy and cannot accept sin(honor thy mother and father…, thou shall not kill, thou shall not commit adultery, thou shall not steal, thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor, thou shall not covet..etc…Exodus 20:12-17). Here are some verses that show examples of sin:

You could be perfect in all the law and stumble at one point and it is as if you broke all of them:

The penalty of sin is death and eternal punishment in the LAKE OF FIRE. I am warning you about hell because I love you! You are dead in your sins and headed for hell which is described in the Word as a FIRE THAT QUENCHES NOT(”…the fire is not quenched” Mark 9:44). It is a horrible and terrible place of everlasting torment that people will go because of their sins.
“And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.” Luke 16:22-24
“In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;” 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9
But God has provided a way for each to escape the lake of fire. He sent his Son Jesus(God manifest in the flesh-1 Timothy 3:16) who was conceived by a virgin by the Holy Spirit of God,lived a sinless life, and suffered a horrible death/shed blood and rose again 3 days later to take the penalty of YOUR sins so you dont have to pay for them in hell for eternity! He loved you so much which is why he did it! He is the only one to have fufilled the law perfectly(sinless) and paid the price of the entire world’s sins so that man could be saved on the merits of His perfection(see Romans 5:19). All you must do to be saved is BELIEVE in Him(trust in Him to save you as a sinner). You must admit your lost sinful condition to Him/that you’re worthy of hell, and ask Him to save you by placing complete trust in Jesus ALONE for salvation(an example in the Word of someone doing this- “And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.” Luke 18:13).It is not even partly by yourselves that you can be saved, but only by the merits of Jesus Christ!

No works or anything you do can save you! May God open your eyes, that one day I may see you in heaven. Read the Word of God(the 1611 King James version- NOT the modern versions, they are corrupt) before rejecting it! Death is fleeting. You may NOT have tomorrow! For death comes when we least expect it! Make sure you are saved TODAY! The Bible condemns the rich, the wealthy, and those who take advantage of the poor, so it CANNOT have been made up by the elite. Because the Word clearly CONDEMNS people such as those! It declares all mankind as sinners(myself included).

Just because someone says they are a Christian does not necessarily mean they are one(remember the crusades in history? Many were murdered in the name of Christianity. I don’t understand the feds reasoning. Don’t they know about the coinage act that states only the Congress of the United States has the authority to coin money. If we would just follow the Constitution the Fed wouldn’t even exist. Actually it’s an act of high treason and punishable by death to counterfit money that wasn’t coined by Congress which is exactly what a Fed Reserve Note is. It’s not a USD$, it’s a FRN$. The Federal Reserve Act of 1913 should be abolished just because it is un constitutional let alone criminal.
