Previous Daily Kos Poll On Rand Paul Was Woefully Inaccurate

A dubious new Daily Kos poll claims that Rand Paul’s lead over Democrat opponent Jack Conway has shrunk to just 3 points in the aftermath of the corporate media’s baseless smear attack on the Kentucky primary winner, but a previous Daily Kos poll conducted just a week before voting took place in the primary said that Paul was a mere 3 points ahead of neo-con opponent Trey Grayson, an election he ended up winning by over 23 points.
“Today’s newly released poll shows Paul with a mere three-point lead. So, you might say, he’s collapsed, right? Yeah, except that this is a Daily Kos poll [3]. The last Daily Kos poll, taken one week before the primary, also showed Paul with a three-point lead,” writes The Washington Examiner’s David Freddoso today [4].
As we explained in our earlier article [2], the Daily Kos poll has little credibility in comparison with a Rasmussen poll [5] which showed Rand Paul had a mammoth 25 point lead over Conway, especially given the fact that Daily Kos is a neo-liberal website run by an establishment apologist and a CIA trainee who routinely attacks independent politicians who are not part of the two party system.
