Professor: Life-Giving Gas Carbon Dioxide Is Not A Pollutant

Physics professor William Happer GS ’64 has some tough words for scientists who believe that carbon dioxide is causing global warming.
“This is George Orwell. This is the ‘Germans are the master race. The Jews are the scum of the earth.’ It’s that kind of propaganda,” Happer, the Cyrus Fogg Brackett Professor of Physics, said in an interview. “Carbon dioxide is not a pollutant. Every time you exhale, you exhale air that has 4 percent carbon dioxide. To say that that’s a pollutant just boggles my mind. What used to be science has turned into a cult.”
Happer served as director of the Office of Energy Research in the U.S. Department of Energy under President George H.W. Bush and was subsequently fired by Vice President Al Gore, reportedly for his refusal to support Gore’s views on climate change. He asked last month to be added to a list of global warming dissenters in a Senate Environment and Public Works Committee report. The list includes more than 650 experts who challenge the belief that human activity is contributing to global warming.
Though Happer has promulgated his skepticism in the past, he requested to be named a skeptic in light of the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama, whose administration has, as Happer notes, “stated that carbon dioxide is a pollutant” and that humans are “poisoning the atmosphere.”

Happer maintains that he doubts there is any strong anthropogenic influence on global temperature.
“All the evidence I see is that the current warming of the climate is just like past warmings. In fact, it’s not as much as past warmings yet, and it probably has little to do with carbon dioxide, just like past warmings had little to do with carbon dioxide,” Happer explained.
Happer is chair of the board of directors at the George C. Marshall Institute, a nonprofit conservative think tank known for its attempts to highlight uncertainties about causes of global warming. The institute was founded by former National Academy of Sciences president and prominent physicist Frederick Seitz GS ’34, who publicly expressed his skepticism of the claim that global warming is caused by human activity. Seitz passed away in March 2008.
In 2007, the Institute reported $726,087 in annual operating expenses, $205,156 of which was spent on climate change issues, constituting the largest portion of its program expenses, according to its I-990 tax exemption form.
In a statement sent to the Senate as part of his request, Happer explained his reasoning for challenging the climate change movement, citing his research and scientific knowledge.
“I have spent a long research career studying physics that is closely related to the greenhouse effect, for example, absorption and emission of visible and infrared radiation, and fluid flow,” he said in the statement. “Based on my experience, I am convinced that the current alarm over carbon dioxide is mistaken.”

Before you know it there will be a law that will state that all of mankind will have to stop breathing for thirty seconds every hour of every day to “Protect” the world from Global Warming.
This shit has gone over the edge of INSANITY, it seems that they are just trying to confuse the world by pushing so many buttons at the same time that mankind will, at some point, not know which way to turn and their brains will suffer some kind of an information overload.

What global warming really is is a war against life itself. The dark lord that the illuminati, NWO people and all their subdivisions worship and follow hates ALL human life, including THEM. They’re just SO Stupid in believing his lies that they’re “superior” to other humans. As Alex said last Friday in one of the best shows I’ve heard yet, that their document now show that they really want to kill 99% of humanity and only have the few tens or hundreds of thousands left to have the whole planet to themselves at the same time completely destroying all the works of God and remaking the entire biosphere into a twisted, mutated, perverted version of the real thing!!.
Understanding the REAL agenda behind this dark power we know as satan and the true purpose for human life is VITAL to understanding why he’s going to such great lengths to control, deceive and manipulate mankind into purposely destroying his own world and planet that is critical to his very survival.
Mankind will eventually be raised up to God’s level of existence and this is the Very LAST thing that Satan wants because HE always wanted to be God and still fully believes that he is not only equal to God, but superior to him. The LAST thing he wants if for ‘lowly’ humans to eventually attain a level infinitely higher than he has and to past judgment and sentence upon him!!
Even if you don’t believe in God or the bible it’s NO coincidence that every one of these groups from the bilderbergers to corporate alliances, Disney, the Illuminate, masons and all the others always goes back to having strong roots in Satanic worship in one form or another. The fact that evolution itself is used as one of their main reasoning for belief in their own superiority also strong supports that the entire evolution theory is indeed a construct of the dark side of the force to manipulate those people at the top and others into believing and acting exactly as we see them doing more and more. This is why Alex always talks about such connections time and time again because it’s central to the very beliefs that are motivating them to destroy the world and all of us.
What they don’t seem to even know is that once Satan is done using them to destroy all of us…he’s TURN right on them and destroy them as well because he wants ALL humans DEAD, DEAD, DEAD!!..if all other life that God created is destroyed in the process…so be it.

98% of scientist agree that there is global warming and its man made? Is that 98% of American scientist or is that world wide? While we are on the subject, exactly how many scientist are there in the world? Where can we find that number with the statement of their agreement of the fact of man made global worming? I mean it must be some where since we know for fact that exactly 98% of every single scientist in the world agree. I also wonder what percentage of them are climatologists or meteorologists? It only makes since that all 98% must be since they obviously have spent all of their professional lives studying the weather. Oh wait, I seem to recall a gathering of over 6,000 scientists recently that question global warming and a large number of them have devoted their lives to the study of climate.
But, as was stated all intelligent people know that global warming is real. Kinda like every one with any smarts knew the earth was flat or that we sun revolved around the Earth. The list of facts that every one attested to at one time or another that have turned out to be utterly false is longer than any of us have time to list. The only thing that an intelligent person can truly attest to is that when debate is silenced we all loose.

The only way there could ever be a revolution or major reform in the U.S. is if scholars and young adults formed groups and demonstrated, examples: the Civil Rights movement of the 1960’s and Vietnam protests.

Says Mr William Happer or the oil industry? Where are the substantial facts to his claim? Despite the controversy it’s good that we start to build a world without oil dependency. There is no conspiracy. Who would be behind it? Most of the world? Did they have a secret meeting?
You might be right about global warming, but without any facts it’s hard to take this seriously. The same with the beliefe that there is a NWO conspiracy. There might be those thinking about it in a negative way in the US, which I find credible and worrying, but here in the EU you can forget about it. It would not be possible, or even slightly possible. We need a NWO that can deal with the problems we face. Don’t work against that. If you do I ask you; what do you want instead and what are your motives? I smell a conspiracy from you. Actually, the state of California did declare CO2 to be a pollutant… Therefore, I guess one could be sued or prosecuted for wanton pollution via one’s breath, and be fined heavily or jailed.
“Global warming” or “global weirding” or whatever the gore-zombies call it now, is all about trying to believe that humans are more powerful than old momma nature herself… that we can change the entire climate of the earth. The “scientists” who take research money to “prove” some aspect of global warming are fakers. A true scientist, using the scientific method,” will investigate a particular phenomena, and then, after eliminating all other explanations or causes, will say that the phenomena may be related to global warming. Proof of such a THEORY does not occur because dissenting voices are shouted down at some global conference. After all, Einstein’s theories are just THEORIES, even though nobody has proved him wrong. But the most famous and honored scientist will be the one who proves, beyond doubt, that Einstein was wrong. That is how science is conducted… the search for truth, not stopping at an agreed-upon conclusion with the exclusion of dissenting facts and alternative theories. The global warming “science” is not conclusive by any means. Thousands of peer-reviewed papers are written every year about it, which indicates the lack of conclusion. On the other hand, another highly-debated topic, plate techtonics, which was controversial for years, is now complete… maybe a dozen papers come in each year. That’s complete science. Global warming has become climate change has become global weirding… there’s no focus, nor is there a single explanation for all of the phenomena that have been observed lately. Heavy snow in places where it has never been seen, dropping temperatures, thickening Antarctic ice, the lack of sunspots, and similar evidence cannot be discarded as one-offs… the atmospheric model has to contain all of these FACTS, or it is a flawed model. A flawed model is not a true model. And a flawed, incomplete model cannot be used to prove anything. It is merely conjecture, and conjecture isn’t even a theory, much less complete science.
Well, we could set off all of the nuclear weapons on earth, but we’d never come up to the power of another Krakatowa going off… now that’s power. Or how about Katrina… how many equivalent nuclear weapons did that storm contain? We are POWERLESS to stop or even faze nature. None of our actions lead to climate change. The sun and the earth itself do all of that without our help.
Al “the bore” Gore is nothing but a money-grubbing charlatan, who has now all but disappeared from public life, where he can rake in his billions off of the carbon trade in private while the rest of us try to cope with all of his lies and misinformation and bulls**t (which is also carbon-based and subject to taxation)…

Just look back in the 80’s. The hole in the ozone layer. We did affect the earth in a substantial way and the global ban on cfc’s allowed for the healing of the layer.
