Media Freaks Out After Man Filmed Carrying Legal Firearm Outside Obamacare Event

The establishment media are frothing over video footage of a man carrying a gun at an Obamacare protest, eagerly citing it as proof that anti-government demonstrators are violent extremists, despite the fact that open carry is completely legal in New Hampshire.
Earlier suggestions that the man may have been a federal agent because he was wearing an earpiece were ruled out after Gary Franchi, managing editor of Republic Magazine, told us that the protester was a member of the Free State Project organization.
MSNBC filmed the man with the weapon and a sign proclaiming: “It’s time to water the tree of liberty,” a reference to Thomas Jefferson’s “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”
The government has a long and sordid history of using agents provocateurs to delegitimize grassroots political movements. Discrediting Obama’s totalitarian health care plan is no exception, but in this instance the man was merely exercising his legal right to open carry.
The MSNBC anchors in the clip are aghast that a mere slave – and not a super-human police officer – might be allowed to carry a firearm in public, despite the fact that New Hampshire is an open carry state – it is perfectly legal to carry a loaded firearm in public without the need for a permit.
The MSNBC host Carlos Watson - who yesterday bizarrely claimed that anti-Obamacare protesters were using the political term “socialist” as a secret code for the n-word, even calls on lawyers to overturn the right to open carry on the spot merely because Lord Obama is coming to town.
MSNBC has acted as Obama’s attack dog over the last week as popular opposition to Obama’s draconian health care plan gains momentum. In particular, MSNBC hosts have repeatedly claimed opposition to Obamacare is racist. Chris Matthews went so far as to say opponents should be strapped down in gurneys and injected with sodium pentathol so they admit they are racists. Matthews talked with Cynthia Tucker of the Atlanta-Journal Constitution who said “45 to 65% of the people who appear at these groups are people who will never be comfortable with the idea of a black president.”
Of course, the fact that Obama was a mixed-race child born of a white mother and raised by white grandparents in a privileged white upper class environment is hastily sidestepped when the establishment media plays the race card at every turn.
Obama’s commissariat will use the incident as a way to conflate opposition to Obamacare with potential violence on the part of “rightwing extremists,” as defined by the Department of Homeland Security.
We saw the exact same tactics employed during the early 1990’s when the patriot movement was growing in leaps and bounds, culminating in the government groomed patsy Timothy McVeigh bombing the Alfred P. Murrah building, an event that handed the state free reign to demonize opponents of President Bill Clinton as domestic terrorists.
Don’t put it past this government to stage a false flag using a ‘Marinus van der Lubbe’ type character, or a manufactured lone nut patsy, in order to quell the legitimate outrage spreading across the country like wildfire.

President Obama traveled to Portsmouth, New Hampshire Tuesday for what many feared could be a rowdy ‘town hall-style’ meeting at a time when some foes of his healthcare overhaul have shouted down lawmakers holding similar events around the country. But no such disruptions occurred at the event.
Earlier, MSNBC’s Ron Allen reported that cameras filmed a protester with a handgun strapped to his leg the meeting before Obama arrived. The man was seen carrying a sign saying “It’s time to water the tree of liberty.”
The man’s “tree of liberty” sign is a reference to Thomas Jefferson, who said “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”
Allen says the Portsmouth police chief told him the man’s gun is legal, because he is on private property — he is on the grounds of a nearby church. Police say his gun is registered and he can keep it on him as long as it is not concealed.
“The police are obviously keeping a close eye on this man … and I suspect that he won’t be here when the president arrives in a few hours’ time,” Allen told viewers.

New Hampshire TV station WMUR is reporting that the Secret Service had a pick-up truck towed away from the site of President Obama’s town hall in Portsmouth “for security reasons,” after a bomb-sniffing dog circled the vehicle several times.
“Officials said a Secret Service bomb dog had a hit on the truck, but they did not say whether there was a specific threat detected,” WMUR reports. “The truck had masonry equipment in it … It was parked in the furthest lane away from the rally, closer to media satellite trucks.”
An administration official said, “He’ll discuss what health insurance reform will mean for Americans who already have insurance, highlighting the consumer protections he laid out in recent weeks and focusing on ending denial of coverage based on pre-existing conditions.”
Around 1,800 people are expected to attend Tuesday’s meeting. According to the Associated Press, 70 percent were given tickets based on a random lottery — “a potentially dicey crowd in a state known for its grass-roots political activism.”
Added AP: “Hours before Obama was to arrive at Portsmouth High School, the road leading to the event site was lined with people — about 100 supporters of Obama’s health care overhaul on one side and about half as many opponents on the other.”

Open carry is legal in NH. The federal government must obey the 10th amendment.

I just left the Portsmouth High School, I’m from here and went to school here. I saw this guy and it was clear to everyone there that he was secret service. Also I’d like to let everyone on here know 2/3 of the people there were against Obama and about half of those people were clearly anti NWO. To be precise, plants don’t breathe or respire CO2. Their respiratory system, like all aerobic critters respires O2 to oxidize the Kreb’s cycle. Now plants do assimilate CO2, keep the Carbon and exhaust the O2, but it’s not a respiratory function – the carbon is used to build cellulose – humans and other critters assimilate carbon for bone building.

This guy was standing on private property where he was invited, and he had a firearms permit…this was reported on MSNBC…the guy was standing peaceably protesting and not making a scene…the media was doing it for him. It’s laughable that the fact this man was doing what he is legally entitled to do is more news worthy than the fact that our country is crumbling right before our eyes. It’s his legal right to carry a gun, and I don’t understand what the fuss is about. I wonder how many were there who were too afraid to display their own…Unamerican to carry a licensed weapon? Open carry is something we can all do everyday. You should be terrified of the fluoride drinking, steroid taking, cops that open carry. I would love to see all citizens open carry. That would be a level playing field. We wouldn’t even need cops if everyone open carried.

As for it being legal as long as it’s not concealed, NH does have Concealed Carry permits so if you have one then carrying concealed would be legal too!

When I was a kid in South Georgia, the cops would tell us to carry our own guns if we went certain places. I was delivering eggs door to door. I know, not like they do that anymore. But at 13, I was carrying a gun. Hidden. And with the cops insistence. Of course, these places were far more dangerous than most places I’ve been to. To include combat zones. I never worry about guns around me. They make a big deal out of them because they know that soon, these guns will be turned on them if they don’t take them away from us first. OK, I live in New Hampshire. (No, I didn’t bother to go because Portsmouth traffic over the Little Bay Bridges is bad enough normally.) And these two quotes confuse me even more than the folks who think that implicitly waiving the 2nd and 10th amendments and commenting on a “conspiracy nut” website will send a more effective a message to the powers that be than would peacefully bearing federal- and state- constitutionally protected arms. (Incidentally, yes, Ghandi understood PR, but Jefferson didn’t die unarmed in the eventual poverty-stricken outsourcing capital of the world from a sniper bullet, wearing a diaper, you pussies.)
What I mean is, there is ZERO gun registration in New Hampshire, and as I understand it, if you’re not in a car, open carrying is perfectly legal even without a License to Carry a Concealed Weapon (which one shall be issued for $10, provided one is not an “unsuitable person” to carry concealed, regardless of what weapons one owns or do not own, the specifics of which the state is forbidden by state law to inquire). And no, this state has plenty of tyranny and government B.S., it’s just that we’re too stubborn, spiteful, and skeptical to immediately buy into the idea that because the TV says we’re “more civilized” than we were 20 years ago, we should now trust the people that have been trying to subjugate us since 2000 years ago, you pathetic dipshits.

I frequent this site quite often and mostly keep to myself and simply absorb, as impartially as possible, the information provided. The more I read and the more comments I observe; the more I begin to realize something so inherently true. Something I don’t think anyone here can argue. Rene Descartes once delved into the a philosophical journey to find what was ultimate truth. He came to two very simply conclusion. All things excluding one thing in particular can be doubt. Everything, EVERYTHING’S truthfulness can be doubted. The truth eludes us all therefore because of doubt. He made the following statement, “Cogito Ergo Sum” – I think therefore I am. This is the only thing that is true.
My point is it doesn’t matter what you believe. Who really cares if this guy was a citizen or a puppet of the government. It doesn’t matter whether you are for or against the right to bear arms. It doesn’t matter if you are pro or anti government, democrat or republican, conservative or liberal. All these things separate us from the from the truth. That being, no of us can be sure what is right or true when everything has the potential to be false.
We allow so many of our precepts to separate us when really no one is more awake than the next person. And in that truth we should stand united. Look, no one knows what tomorrow will bring us. No one here can tell me the future with any degree of certainty. The only thing one can do is remain observant and be prepared for as many contingencies as possible.
It is equally ignorant to lay down your arms as it is to flash them publicly. We have the right to bear them. So go and purchase them. There is a time and place for everything. The human mind knows when it is time for peace or a time for self preservation. I own several fire arms. I’ve trained in Mixed Martial Arts for almost 15 yrs. Outside of the ring I have used it to defend my family and myself twice in all those years. I don’t go around letting the world now my abilities or that I own fire arms. At the same time I don’t cower before those that are responsible to me, i.e my government. I certainly am not fearful of those who live an breathe the same air as me.
My father gave me great advice before I went into the military. He said two things, keep your mouth shut and your ear’s open & “Loose lips sink ships.”
People, this is not a time to stand down or raise up arms. This should be our time to be mindful and become prepared for a future that is uncertain. It would be an act of ignorance to provoke violence and equally ignorant not to prepare for the possibility that you may need to protect yourself and/or your family.
The truth is we are all ignorant. No one here is a troll or a wack job. Until we realize we are no better “informed” as the next person we will remain desperate. Isn’t that what evil wants? To isolate us? The battle between what is inherently good in man and that which is evil has been waged since we took our first breath. What is happening today has been occurring for millennium and may continue indefinitely. We may only deal with today my friends. Today should be the day we stand together, not because we are Americans or of them same mind set or race or religion. Rather, we should stand together because we are all equally ignorant.
Be mindful of all that goes on around you. Do not subscribe to anyone one belief but rather use all the information, from as many source as possible to engage your critical thinking and prepare yourself for as many contingencies as possible.
Don’t drag other through the mud because that are different. Lift each other up and help each other their individual walks. Is that not peace? No man, government, organization, or order can harm any of us if we stand united in our diversity; if we think as objectively as possible, and if we prepared for both the good and the bad equally.
Discretion is the greater part of Valor. If things are going to progress towards a violent end then play your cards close to your chest. If they don’t progress that way then you will do equally well to play your hand the same way.

The Second Amendment language is quite clear.
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
It is the right of the people to “keep” (possess) and “bear” (carry) Arms (guns). And this shall not be infringed (restricted).
The Second Amendment gives the people the right to possess and carry guns and the Federal Government shall not infringe upon this right, not privilege.
Therefore, any gun law that restricts the right of the people to possess and carry a gun is illegal by the standards of the Second Amendment.
Case Closed.

There certainly is no arguing that. I am in support of our right. I own several firearms myself. But here is my question. Just because the speed limit says you can drive 100mph does it mean you should all the time? Suppose it is raining or there is traffic?
Same goes for this situation. You are in public and your President is coming to town. I think a bit more forethought is merited here. Look, I think Obama is the next Hitler. But until he takes off his mask and reveals himself, he is still the President of our Country.
Its foolish to exercise your right to bear arms in this situation. What does it really prove? That the guy has a gun? Big fricken deal. Is this guy in that much need of attention? What does brandishing your weapon really prove? Nothing… The Secret Service probably knew every person in that town who owns a gun way before the President ever set foot on the soil.
Like I said earlier…discretion is the greater part of valor. There will be a time to put up or shut up. I would be interested to see if this guy would ever even draw his weapon…
